My father is 99, and he wanted his 1990 Ford ranger up and running. I took it to Bucky s in Shoreline. They were very helpful with what repairs it needed. Quick to get the job done. Had it back in under 24 hours. The staff there were very friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend this Location.

Really great service and reasonable rates! Had my front and rear brakes done, only took a couple of hours and I showed up without calling ahead. I cannot recommend them enough, I d give them another star if I could! David was at the front counter, super friendly guy!They ve got a soda machine and restrooms in their waiting area as well as a tv, so waiting isn t a problem!

On July 2023 I went to Bucky s in Shoreline to have my 2019 Honda Civic AC refill. I have the receipt to prove it. The AC did not work. I went back to Bucky s and the Manager Dana said it would cost $250 to check for leaks. he said it would cost additional four or five hours of labor at $150 an hour.I went to O Reilly auto parts store in Shoreline and the nice employee help me test my AC and it showed low. I bought a can of AC for $120 to refill and it worked. Bucky s is a rip off !!

Our catalytic converter was stolen, and replacing it at the dealer's would have been outrageously expensive. These guys replaced it (with one that isn't a target for theft) quickly and for a reasonable price. Got the car there at 8am and was out in less than two hours. Nice guys, good work!

Recently took my truck in because I was having some trouble with my rear axle. Dana and his crew located and fixed the issue sooner than expected. I am very pleased with survice.

I stopped in first thing in the morning before the shop opened for a quick oil change and was in and out within an hour. I appreciated that I was quickly acknowledged and serviced promptly by the front desk manned by Jacob, who was super friendly, which you don t normally get at other shops. I have already recommended a friend of mine to get his work done here!Service: Oil change

I went in to get a inspection for Uber. Get this, Uber passed my inspection the first time with my dent on the side door (picture below). I take it to these guys and they fail me because of it but according to them more so from the bumper damage. They said that s an automatic fail. I expressed to them that If they knew that was and automatic fail why didn t they just tell me in the beginning instead of deciding to proceed with the inspection and me having to pay for it. They will milk you for what you got and not consider you at all. You re better off doing business somewhere else more genuine.

I've been with Bucky's for a few years now. I have not had any issues. The customer representatives are knowledgeable and the prices are the best in Shoreline.I appreciate that there is no nonsense. Some people want the nonsense because they don't know much about cars. They go to the dealership for oil changes because they I think they're getting a free maintenance report when that report is built into the price. Then most of the time it's just used as a way for them to sit you down and upsell you.If you want an inspection at Bucky's, you ask for an inspection. I like that.

these guys know how to fix cars. same day service , and very friendly. highly recommend going there if you need a good mechanic. totally kept me updated and got my truck back on the road and running strong . thanks you guys .

I knew I had to do rear brakes on my car from a previous brake check from a different shop. The estimate I got was a little high. So I decided to take my car to Bucky's at Shoreline to get an estimate. I made the appointment with the store manager Jacob on the phone. Showed up the next day to my appointment had the brakes checked and their estimate was 25% less than most competitors for the exact same work and pads that was used. Also a shout out goes to a great service manager Tim that was very knowledgeable and transparent on all the recommended work that was required for the brake job. I will certainly be using the Shoreline location for my next car service.Service: Brakes

I have been to Bucky s several times for oil changes and their prices are extremely reasonable. When I went in today Dana informed me that I had a few pressing issues that need to be taken cad of on my car and he was very helpful and informative about it.I definitely recommend taking your car needs here.

Watch out for the upsell and unnecessary work they try to pile up.I went in there for a muffler replacement and was quoted $300 butI found a shop elsewhere for half of the price. If you know what you need,stick with your intent. If they start talking about "related" work, get a printout of the quote and go elsewhere tp get another assessment. It is worthwhile to find a shop that is fair and does great, reputable work.

I got 2 oil changes at Bucky's. Both went well, and they were able to quickly diagnose some additional problems I had asked about.They were quick, direct, and got everything done well. I'll going to come back for more work in the future, as they do good work, in a timely manner. They answered all my questions honesty and directly.I'd recommend calling ahead if you want to drop your car off as they are usually pretty busy, but that is a sign of a good mechanic in my book.This a great place if you want quality work done on your car, in a timely manner and at a fair price.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance

New to the area. Needed an oil change. Walked into Bucky's at 8:30 AM on a Friday. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and personable. He got me setup in their system as a customer and was great with the line of customers after me. I use full synthetic oil. I called a few places the day before I walked into Bucky's and was SHOCKED at the prices I was quoted - some near $200. It was a relief to find somewhere with honest pricing. Had it not been 90� I would have changed the oil myself and am aware of the cost of oil and effort required to change it. Will be a repeat customer for sure.

Had a radiator crack on me. They got me in quickly and had my car fixed the next day- just as they had quoted. All their prices were within the ballpark of the prices I had researched. Polite, friendly staff. Its been over a week and I have had no complications, leaks, etc. Based on this experience, I will be using their services again.The ONLY "complaint" I would give is beyond their ability to change, and thats the size of their parking lot/entry. Be warned, it can be hard to navigate sometimes- but again, its not anything they have any control over.

I've been going to these guys for a few years now and have been happy with the service. Mostly oil changes, including my most recent one (5/13/22). They keep pretty busy, but Jacob and the guys always find a way to work with my schedule and get me in and out. This is a place you can definitely trust. I only bring my car to this place to get fixed because I know they will a good and honest job. Also as a woman bringing in a car to get fix you might feel uneasy. But the customer service is always great and you feel comfortable. Jacob, who works there is understanding of your financial situation and is willing to work with you. Overall a great place to go if you need any oil change or repairs.

This place is honest and transparent with their pricing which is hard to find these days. I needed my brakes and rotors replaced on my Range Rover Sport and not only did they do a great job, their price was significantly lower than other places who quoted me. Ask for Jacob when you call in, super nice and straightforward guy and they don t have long wait times either!Service: Brakes

I just moved to the area and was looking for a place to get my oil changed. The service was great and when I mentioned I would be looking for new tires, they even recommended a tire place (Discount Tires - ask for Todd and say Jacob sent you)! Very efficent and prompt work! I will be coming back!

I am LOYAL to this location. Jacob has always been helpful, informative and the crew there has decades of experience between them. Right on the bus line with shopping and restaurants nearby. My 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited won't be allowed to visit another mechanic, even for minor issues. The smell from the French fries next door at Good Burger is intoxicating though.

These guys are really friendly, honest and the work they provide is top of the line. I had straight pipes on my car and it was way too loud for my liking. I took my car to many other places but they were trying to rip me off. Then, I found out about this shop and they were able to build me a custom exhaust system (my car is really hard to work on, common problems with Maserati s) and that fixed the unwanted noise issue and my car drives much better. Plus, they gave me a really good price and worked around my budget. I always get compliments about how it sounds and the work they put in. It s been a few months and I have had 0 issues. I will recommend this place of business to anyone looking for any kind of repairs and I will keep coming back. Thank you guys.Service: Exhaust

Love the Bucky's Shoreline location! I have taken a vehicle in for a water pump many years ago and was very happy with the service. We moved and I chose a closer place but they are super hard to get an appointment and I needed an oil change.My son went in and they did not try to upsell. He was very happy with the service. I went in today and they were happy to do a walk in appointment, were friendly and professional.I am now going to do more business with them and appreciate that they do a great job and have very reasonable prices. It is not the closest location, but by far the best.Services: Battery, Oil change

If we had other options I would have taken them. Inconsistent pricing. No communication. Work done before consent of customer. Outrageous excuses and customer service. I hate that my partner loves their truck and that this is one of the only places in town that can work on it. Reading the reviews I was hoping that the ripping off and scamming was exaggerated but its not the longest shot I've ever dealt with.
