Took a 15 year old ford key in for simple replication. Was informed that they had deprogrammed the key, they cannot make another, and that my original key doesnt function any longer. Leaving me stranded. They offer to give a ride home while they try and figure it out. Not acceptable in any way. They then realize they are going to have to pay for a rental, only after it being by suggested by us to them as a temporary solution. The next day, we are informed that they have "never seen this" and cannot replicate a key from a 2010 ford. After a phone call to help understand what is happening, I realize they are about to start dismantling my dash without asking. I inform them to stop and get a tow to a dealership. They have taken zero responsibility, have been argumentative, and are behaving in a psychotic manner. I walked in with a functioning truck, now i am paying for a tow truck away. A simple key replication turned into total insanity. I know they are the only ones in town, and their review total doesn't give pause. Please read the other recent reviews and attempt another option if possible. These folks are scum. Even our tow truck driver concurred.

The first employee that I encountered when I walked in the door, stood and talked to his ex girlfriend for the better part of 15 minutes before he ever acknowledged me. After that, he much older gentleman came around and belittled my vehicle was horribly condescending and made me feel awful about even being in the store. After that, he agreed to finally help With our key issue, and clearly had no idea what he was doing. He grossly overcharged me complained the entire time about how it was done improperly in the first place, which is not true, and then it took him an extra 45 minutes past closing time to even accomplish what he supposedly a master at. Definitely do not recommend this location for any kind of help with any lock or key situation . Next time. Will call AAA and get real service by someone who is competent.

Very disappointing, went in store to have a key cut from VIN with registration. Was told they couldn't do it unless car was there. Brushed off and laughed at by employees/customers, was embarrassing. Every other locksmith in town was happy to help. Problem solved, key is being cut as I type. Really poor customer service

One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had in my life! Our car locked up in the middle of the blizzard with an alarm fault. Someone named Bob told us they could fix the issue we were having with our vehicle. I called back to confirm they could handle the repair before having the vehicle towed to Master Locksmith. Bob said with 100% confidence they could fix our issue. Great! I scheduled the vehicle to be towed there as soon as a tow truck was available two days later. I called to confirm when it was on its way. Someone named Greg answered and said, "Bob is just wrong."I explained that we had confirmed with Bob not once but twice. He said Bob is a "volunteer." I asked why a volunteer is answering his after hours service line and making promises to customers and he said "it's a long story." We went back and forth with Greg talking over me and not letting me get a word in edgewise.Greg refused to take any responsibility or be accountable to what Bob told us. He kept arguing with me over the word "immobilizer" when I stated explicitly that I'm unclear on the industry terminology or vocabulary, I cannot diagnose the issue, I'm just explaining the symptoms. He kept insisting that his business isn't beholden to what Bob tells customers because "he's a volunteer." I explained that I don't care what their compensation arrangement is, that I care that he provides customer service and finds a solution to the fact that we just paid to have our vehicle towed to him because his representative, acting on behalf of his business, assured us they could handle it.He continued to talk over me, but when I raised my voice to be heard, he insisted I was yelling. I was not yelling. I was talking over him as he was doing to me. So I got louder. But, trust me, that wasn't yelling. He then had the audacity to ask: "Are you a Millennial?" Which... seriously? How much more unprofessional can this guy get?I replied, "No! I'm Gen X are YOU and BOOMER!?"At that point Greg hung up on me. While my vehicle was being towed to his shop.Refusing to take responsibility for what someone acting on behalf of your business tells your customers, sticking your customers with a tow charge, refusing to communicate in a helpful manner, and then to top it all off trying to blame your customer's age for your terrible communication skills and poor customer service is just plain bad business. There aren't a lot of choices in the area but I highly recommend finding any other locksmith because Greg and Bob are not reliable.

Probably the rudest interaction I ve ever had with a business over the phone in my life. I called just to ask if they were able to help generate a key or if they re only able to help me gain access to my locked car and before I could finish my question he cut me off and said We can t generate a key out in the field! Whatever the hell that meant at that moment I didn t know so I asked what he meant by that and he yells, We haven t generated a key out in the field for over 20 years!! Didn t answer my question as to what that meant but he eventually told me it meant they can t make a key on site. Fine, that s all you had to say sir. No need to yell at a potential customer willing to pay you $200 or whatever it would have cost to help me out. Sorry I didn't know you don t make keys on site, that s why I was ASKING. I was literally asking a simple question and you proceeded to make me feel as if I was dumb for that when you re the expert and I m a potential customer in need of a service that I now know you don t provide. Extremely unwelcoming and unprofessional. Turns out this guys is the owner. Do better.

If i could give 10 stars i would! I came in because I needed to get a key made and I was thinking about getting my key fob programmed but I was worried about the cost. Turns out it just was a quick and easy turn of the two keys. No charge for such a simple fix. I was so stressed out about this and they helped make it quick and easy. I would 100% recommend them to everyone and anyone in the future. Great service, friendly people! :)

Brought an ignition in from my 71` Harley Sprint. It had been a while since I had brought it in and was curious if they had got any traction on the project. I walk in and Steven says, "Can I help you?" I said, "Yeah, I'm the guy with the old Harley ignition". As I was saying that, the part was right under my nose and they were about to call me to tell me they had the project finished. Under $30 bucks. It was not an easy project. They came through with flying colors. On top of it all, just really nice people. The kind of service you expect from yesteryear. Really impressive.

Masters saw an urgent situation and took immediate action! As I was loading up my car, I closed the rear door where my baby was, and went to open mine, and the car had auto-locked with my keys inside. As expected, I was frantic, but The locksmith was here in 20 minute(which is great timing for where I live), and reunited me with my baby I am so thankful for masters and highly recommend!Thank you so much!!

A friend was locked out of her house at 9:30 p.m. We called and got in touch with the after hours locksmith. Locksmith Bob got the pertinent information, came to her house, carried on a fun and informative conversation, and in 20 minutes had the lock opened! What a pleasure to meet him and watch his expertise! He delights in helping those in need after normal business hours. Highly recommend!

Nice little shop. But, when I call in asking whether they have a specific key blank and then ask how much it'll cost for a copy, and I'm told they do have it and it'll cost $2.50 + tax, I don't expect to arrive the next day and be charged $3.00+ tax. Not a big deal, but the next time I need a key made I'll drive a few hundred yards down the road and get it done at the Coop for $1.50.

Great service! We had them do installation and re-keying to match multiple locks, super nice staff! If they copy a key, it is a perfect copy that works, unlike keys made at the large chain stores.

I needed locks changed on my rental property in a hurry. Master Locksmith was able to re-key my existing locks same-day and work with my tenant while I was out of town. The service was very affordable, the new keys work great, and I was able to pay over the phone. The peace of mind they allowed me to have was priceless.Service: Lock rekeyingService: Lock rekeying

The owner Greg, his son Steven, and their co worker Tyler that worked there were amazing and so helpful. They had to program a vehicle I just got, and were so patient and so friendly. I know it took sometime gtting everything since they had to fax in and get a pin code.Thank you for the help and the discount, that really helped my family and a lot! I recommend them to anyone..even just getting a cheap house key :)

We had a problem with our front door lock just a few days after moving in to our new home. It was a lock unlike I'd ever seen or experienced before...not your typical Home Depot brand lock. Greg knew from my description that it was a very expensive to replace mortise lock. He thought it might need to have a new cartridge ($300-$400) and an undetermined amout of time to get parts. He came out and determined that he could repair it on the spot and replacement was not necessary. $125 for the house call and labor was more than fair. We are happy customers.

My second experience with the shop. Called to make an appointment, never showed up. Called them, they had put the wrong day on their calendar. About 4 years ago, went in to shop and told them of the problem at that time, made an appointment for them to come out to house, never showed. Twice as a no show...I'll have to find another solution.

Just terrible service. Locked my keys out of my car and they said they would be there in 30 minutes. After waiting for an hour, called them back and said the boss would be there in 10 minutes. After an additional 30 minutes passed still no one showed up. And had a buddy come and unlock my car. Worst service ever. Would never reccomend

After all the local locksmiths told me they couldn't make a key for my motorcycle gas cap, I was directed to The Master Locksmith. Not only did they have they have the right key blank on hand, I was able to drive over that same day and leave with two perfectly working new keys. Many thanks to Greg and Steven.

Fantastic folks. Prompt, knowledgable, friendly and helpful. Bob (the technician) was in my driveway 5 minutes after I hung up the phone. Took him less than 5 minutes to retrieve my keys from my locked Tundra pickup. No fumbling around, no damage. A real pro. This is my new locksmith!

Good to go...I'm picky...I asked for what I wanted and they told me when to come back. I paid a bit more than I expected; but I know it was worth it now....an excellent business of a skilled trade.
