My front tire just about fell off, and the team at Selah Friendly was able to get my vehicle repaired in only a couple hours! They have also put a transmission in this Subaru, and any other issue I might have with this vehicle in the future will be handled by them :)

While they are friendly, the quality of work performed was very disappointing.In June of this year, I took my car in to have multiple issues fixed: washer fluid hose repair, rear hub assembly, and diagnose check engine light.When I took it in to have the hubs replaced they instead replaced my rear brakes and rotors saying they were down to the metal, which was surprising as they were not squealing or shuddering. I have had brakes down to the metal before and know what that sounds like. They did not replace my hub assembly saying that they did not have the correct tool to remove the hub and that I would need to bring the car back, but that they thought it didn t need a new bearing. I returned the next day as the hub was still howling and they replaced it the next day. That following weekend I went to Costco to get my tires rotated, but they couldn t remove the tires because the shop had not put the lug nut tool back into my car when they finished the hub. I returned to the shop to discover that they had lost the tool and instead offered to rotate my tires rather than replace the tool lost in their care.The check engine light they diagnosed as a leaking turbo (nearly $2000 repair), which they replaced only to discover that the check engine light is still on! They also dented the underside of my car by lifting it improperly while replacing the hub. Yakima/Selah beware of Shady-(friendly) Automotive!Selah shop worked on 2006 vw jetta to replace turbo and rear brakes. While doing the brakes the tech lost the factory lug nut tool. The shop took it upon themselves to put on aftermarket lug nuts so they didn't have to spend the money to fix their mistakes and give the car back with the same lug nut and caps it went into the shop with. A month and a half later the shop owner Felix has failed to replace the factory lugnuts and caps. After the turbo repair the car leaks oil and check engine light is STILL on!! While doing these repairs the tech raised the car improperly and smashed the under side of the car near the rear punch points, causing $500-$1500 in damage. While talking with Felix (the owner of shady automotive) said "it happens"! Well I've been a tech for 20 years, lifted hundreds of vehicle, pickups, and heavy equipment and have NEVER smashed an under carriage!! A month and a half later still waiting for Fleix to make things right and repair the damage and replace parts his shop messed up on!! A small claims lawsuit may be in order here!!! So BEWARE YAKIMA/SELAH of SHADY(friendly) automotive!!!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Brake service & repair

Brought a fleet pickup truck that admittedly needed some major work (it wouldn't start and needed a suspension repair after hitting a large rock) to this shop. They "worked on" our truck for ~3 weeks before admitting that they could not fix it and that it should be towed to the dealership. The truck arrived at the dealership MORE BROKEN than when it arrived at Friendly Auto, without any power (previously the dash would at least light up) and with all its fuses gone. Friendly Auto falsely claimed we brought it there in that condition, but that is absolutely not true. We will be bringing our fleet elsewhere from now on!Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair

Great Crew, my unexpected flat tire was devastating and they helped me with a great attitude and generosity.Today Friendly Automotive came through Again my last bad tire went flat yesterday and I had to drive with donut on. I called friendly right away yesterday morning and the ordered tire was there today I dropped my car off on way to work and Ryan gave me ride to work and delivered my car when finished I told them they are a blessing, what a great Business . Thank you all for the amazing team work guy's Well they came thru again today amazing team !

So much for friendly. I called asking a question about getting help with breaking a bolt. I called to ask if they would assist with breaking the bolt as I had my brother willing to fix this part for me. My brother was unable to break the bolt which left us stuck. I was willing to pay for the help but I was told that they like to do a job start to finish. Also understandable. I get that. So say sorry I don't think we can help. Instead I was told they I have a call on the other line and hung up on. I called back and nobody would answer. How unfriendly and poor customer service. Again I get that I had a chance of being told no but to be hung up on. Do better guys. The Yakima location has never treated me that way.

They lied to me, tried to sell me unnecessary services. Said I had a bad belt, it was just off it's track, no lines crumbles or breakage of any kind - good belt. Said the compressor would be seized and they needed to service the whole ac - you can literally turn the thingy on the outside of it without doing anything but opening the hood. They wanted to do a check on the whole ac system and charge me for a new belt and an hour to put it on. My dad fixed it in 5 mins with one screw driver without getting dirty. We will not be returning, do not appreciate them failing to do what I requested while trying to convince me I needed a $700 bill over a 5 min fix and directly lying about the condition of my ac belt.

We are in a lost for words to express the wonderful service they have provided not to mention the speed and care in wich our truck was worked and returned to us.Definitely a number to keep for your car services and share with your family and friends.

I have had my wife's car in this shop several times for minor work, as well as tires that I ordered thru them. Scheduled appointment, and work done on time, and also diagnostic work, to determine why we kept getting a dash trouble light. As a note, I have had Felix work on my truck, and my sons car at his other shops, and always happy and satisfied with him and his employees.Services: Tires, Brake service & repair, Oil change

Amazing Service! The name says it all. They are all super friendly and transparent about everything. I never once felt like they were trying to pull one over on me. I have definitely found the shop I will go to anytime I need one of my cars looked at! Had an oil change it took an hour, didn't top off all the fluids, didn't reset oil change setting in my truck, will never go back again and will not recommend going there for at least an oil change anyway.
