DO NOT STAY HERE!! They will LIE and say you smoked in your room and charge you extra money. We ve been smoke free for 17 years!! It was a good try on their part. But THEY LOST!! Big FAIL. Their internet sucks too. There s also bugs and spiders that crawl on the walls. But trying to get an extra $250 out of me over a LIE?? HA. Fat chance. Not happening. Watch out for them. Sneaky sneaky.

1 star because they won t allow zero. We stayed there for one night because it was on our way. The hotel had its quirks like spider webs in nearly every corner, but I thought to myself it s just for one night. Then was woken by my son in the morning to let me know that there were ants crawling all over his floor. The heater in the room also did not work. Also for some reason the bathroom floor was always wet. I noticed the smoke alarm had the battery disconnected and didn t dare touch it considering I didn t want to hear beeping all night as the former guest most likely had done already. I was later charged for smoking in my room. I, my wife, and minor son do not smoke. and I have read other reviews and see they like to make up fraudulent charges. I have learned my lesson to read reviews for hotels before staying there now. I hope this reviews finds you before it s too late.Walkability: Not much to do there except walk across the street to fish.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. I have actually stayed here in the past but will never come back. The room is fine, but the customer service is wildly concerning. I had a room booked for Saturday and called in Thursday morning to cancel (reasonably within their 100% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 2 days before arrival or earlier) the reservation. I was told that was not 48 hours before my reservation, which is false and straight up hung up on me. They have not returned calls nor email - totally ghosting me without further explanation. I actually can't believe that businesses can operate like this

Things in the room work fine. Coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, hot water, shower, toilet, heaters, and lights work fine. One lamp didn t work because it didn t have a wall outlet but it s probably just there for display. The kitchen is stocked with cups and utensils enough to cook a meal with the fish that you would catch from the sea.The property looks good and the room looks fine but there could be improvements on the quality. The towels had a stale smell. Some of the bed sheets, pillows cases, and blankets were not in a clean usable condition. Some linens were either not washed or had gone pass it s usable life.I would stay here again, but I ll bring sleeping bags next time.Rooms: Wash the linens and if that doesn t work, replacing them would be nice.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. The owners are incredibly rude, charge hidden fees, and try to extort money out of you. They literally took trash from the trashcan and spilled it into their own room in order to try and charge us extra cleaning fees (thank goodness I took pictures of the place before we left to be able to dispute the charge). Non-existent pet policy and tried to threaten us to have us kicked out when we asked them to show us the pet policy. Very unpleasant, rude people. And for the price? the room is not worth it. Dirty, unclean towels. Hot as hell. Dirty carpet and floors. If you want to stay during halloween and get an experience from hell that might be the only way to get a worthwhile experience.

I needed a roadside assistance with a rental car that was parked in an area with no cell reception. I happen to be dropped off by a kind person to this resort so I can call the rental car company for assistance. Long story short, the owners were so kind to offer help and so I ended up staying here. They were some of the wonderful people I have ever met.

We stayed here on our way to Shi Shi beach and Cape Flattery. "This ain't the Taj Mahal" fisherman shouted at us when we entered the room. They were right. Even though we got the deluxe room, nothing is luxurious about it, just a tiny bit larger than other rooms. Interior reminds me of sixtees/seventees and hasn't been updated since. Contrary to what others wrote, things were clean: bedding, towels, shower. Towels were thin and sandpapery but without smell. Room was basic, TV above microwave on top of a mini fridge, which was clean inside. There is a little night table, but no other table or luggage holder. Walls are paper thin, you can here hear conversations and snoring, so bring ear plugs. Had one cold shower because they ran out of hot water. Arrived few minutes before 8pm, shop next door was still open, they gave us room number, key was inside room. Called office twice after 8 to ask for Wifi and about free street parking. Both times phone was answered promptly and friendly. Overall, we had a good stay, this definitely ain't the Taj Mahal, but things were clean and staff helpful and Wifi fast. Understand that 99% of the audience of this place are fishermen. Sekiu is not a pretty town, it's full of pickup trucks and RVs and 100% focused on fishing by boat. Three stars because $150/night is steep.

the location is great but the 3 times I have stayed here it has been filthy, we are constantly getting harrassed by the employees there's even though we pay the pet fees. We are always very respectful, we always clean up after our selves. its like the only thing they do is change the bed sheets, maybe. the floors are disgusting, the bathroom/shower are always dirty. every time we leave the room they ask us if we paid the pet fee, aggressively because it takes "special cleaning" and they don't even clean the rooms. We will be staying at Bella Vista next time which is much more friendly, welcoming, and very clean.

Stayed here for a night while on a road trip within the Olympic Peninsula.Front desk reception closed after a certain time so check in had to be done manually. It was an easy process. Unfortunately, the problems started right afterwards. We go into our room and are immediately hit with the strong stench of fish guts from a previous guest that brought live fish into the room. I get it, this is a fishing resort and people who come here usually go out to fish, but still, blech! Even with the window open and the fan on the stench of fish was still impossible to get rid of. Wanted to ask to see if we could get a room switch but with no one at the desk we had no choice but to stick with this room. The water was also not very hot and the wi-fi was weak (understandable though, this is in a small town), which made the stay a bit more unpleasant. Needless to say, we checked out as soon as possible the next morning and continued on our road trip.Great view though.

I don't normally write reviews but my experience here was so outrageous I feel the need to warn others, especially if you find this place through airbnb. The owners were rude, aggressive, extorted hidden fees out of my girlfriend and I using threats, and lied to charge us cleaning fees. If you have the patience to read the rest of this long review, please do, its all true and its completely ridiculous. The owners told me to my face that they do not check airbnb or follow their policies. The airbnb listing shows pet friendly and we announced via airbnb that it was 2 guests and 1 pet. While staying there, the owner saw my girlfriend and I walking to our room with our pet, a less than 10 lb puppy dog, and told us we were in violation of their pet policy which they claim says we need to announce the pet when we arrive in person or it counts as undeclared and that for violating this policy they could charge us $250 and kick us out on the spot. This policy doesn't exist. It's not on airbnb, it's not on their website, and they produced no evidence of the policy. They gave us 10 minutes to come and pay them a pet fee under threat of those high fees and getting kicked out (it was already 8 p.m.). Later when I went to show them that the policy isn't listed anywhere, and that we had announced our pet through airbnb, they said they don't check airbnb and repeated their threats to charge us further and kick us out. Luckily we took this up with Airbnb and were able to get a full refund for our stay as we did end up having to abruptly leave that night at 9 pm once the owner was contacted by airbnb regarding our complaint of hidden fees and aggressive behavior. After the airbnb refund was resolved they attempted to recoup their losses by charging us high cleaning fees based on photos they had taken of trash strewn across the room's floor. We had taken pictures of the place in the condition we left it before we left so this was also refuted and airbnb again sided with us. The owners of this motel are rude, aggressive, and will extort you out of made up fees using threats. They will also lie and make a mess of their own rooms just to attempt to get more money out of you. Aside from all of this, the place wasn't very nice in the first place. Dirty carpets, dirty bath towels, and very hot uncomfortable rooms. Put it all together and this was the worst stay I've ever had at any motel. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Disappointing Experience at Curleys ResortI recently had the opportunity to stay at Cutlets Resort, and I regret to say that my experience fell far short of my expectations. Despite booking in advance, I encountered numerous issues that left me feeling disappointed and dissatisfied.First and foremost, upon entering the room, it became evident that it had not been adequately cleaned. The presence of a broken screen further compounded the disappointment. It was disheartening to see such a lack of attention to detail and maintenance in the room I was provided. Moreover, throughout my stay, I felt a distinct sense of neglect from the staff. Requests for assistance or information were met with indifference and a lack of responsiveness. The manager, in particular, exhibited a regrettable level of rudeness and unprofessionalism, which only added to the overall negative experience.Adding insult to injury, the room I was assigned was overpriced considering the substandard conditions. The dirty towels, the lingering unpleasant smell in the microwave, and the absence of any housekeeping services further contributed to my dissatisfaction. As a paying guest, I had expected a clean and well-maintained room, attentive and courteous staff, and reasonable value for the price I paid. Unfortunately, Cutlets Resort failed to deliver on these basic expectations, leaving me deeply disappointed with my stay.It is my sincere hope that the management of Cutlets Resort takes these concerns seriously and addresses them promptly. I encourage them to reevaluate their cleanliness standards, improve staff training and customer service, and ensure that guests receive the experience they were promised and paid for.I regret to say that I cannot recommend Curlys Resort based on my personal experience. I sincerely hope that future guests have a more positive and enjoyable stay.

The room was spotless and although in need of updating, is well cared for, new paint and Halloween decorations were in evidence. I checked in late, and they left clear, welcoming instructions of how to get to my room. The walls did seem quite thin, I could hear the snoring from the next room. The locale is so beautiful, right on the water.

The motel is rundown and old. There are holes and cracks in the walls, and the bed is old and uncomfortable. Frankly, I'd rather sleep in my car. The manager, Royce, and another man, were very rude and the customer service was awful. In addition, they claimed to be unaware of the Airbnb listing, and policies, I used to reserve my room. Funny, Royce's photo was on the Airbnb listing. Anyway, there was no pet fee listed on the Airbnb site, so I was not aware of the fee. When they asked me to pay the fee, I did. But I noted that they really should list the fee on the site. They accused me of sneaking my dogs in because I hadn't declared them when I arrived even though I had listed both dogs on the reservation. I explained that i thought the reservation was the declaration. They both became very hostile. Not nice at all. The location is nice

Have to agree with the other 1-star reviews here. Although the host seemed nice, the room we stayed in at really needs some cleaning and maintenance. Molds in the windows, spider webs in multiple places, hair in the towel and bed, and bathroom exaust falling out. I believe the host live next door so it shouldn't really be an excuse to not have done a lot of the maintenance work needed. Hoping this review will help owner raise the bar for better maintenance of the place as it has potential with proper upkeep.

This two room suite was very good.Large space.Well provisioned.Room 14 you can park close and charge an EV from (level 1 charger... Bring your own charger). Not fancy. But very good space and everything worked well.It is a no smoking room. But it was obvious that there had been a smoker in it previously.

Room smelled bad, window was open and fan on floor was on when we arrived. Managers are gone at 6pm, so we were left key in room when we arrived at around 6:45. Tv, microvave and refrigerator all unplugged. Fish bait had been left in refrigerator and stunk! Manager told my friend to leave his property when she complained. He said we had to vacate in 15 minutes!! Threatened to call police .I wish he had followed thru with threat. We paid $140 for a nite, wasn t worth $14. I gave it a one star cause the towels in bath we re clean. Would have left, but everything close was already full.

This was a cozy place off the beaten path with reasonable rates. The owners were friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome. I liked the room as it felt cozy and had the amenities I wanted (double or queen bed, cable TV, WiFi, two person dining table, kitchenette with microwave, two burner stove, small refrigerator, sink & dishes). The small bathroom had a shower stall and was adequate for me. From my room I was able to see the harbor and observed Bald Eagles flying by my window to the beach across the street. I'd go back anytime.

Clean, cozy, safe. I was travelling solo and I felt totally secure here. The beach is pretty much across the road. The view of beautiful. The best feature of the room is the roof. I didn't really know what to expect when I booked it, but this was better than I expected.

Location is nice. Parking is very limited so you have to park on the other side of the street. The rooms are small. Staff is kind. Not much privacy in the rooms, you can hear other people snoring through the walls. Bring your own towels, unless you are okay with spending an extra $20 for using their bath towel. Other than those annoyances, it was fine. Just a place to sleep, shower and move on. For that, the price is decent.

Lodging, amenities are great but the walls are thinner than any hotel I have ever stayed in. We had room 18 and actually loved the layout but could hear conversation to the left, right and above us. The footsteps upstairs were so bad at one point the light above is shivered. . Everyone was at a normal volume but that s how thin everything was. Such a bummer because I loved the room. My only advice is to make sure to get an upstairs end unit, then you won t hear anything! Otherwise great location right across the harbor. Loved the office had ice cream and there was a little store down the way

I have no idea what hotel these other people writing reviews are referring to, but not this one. I knew driving up to park what I would b in for. Walked in to check in. Filthy front office, room bldg was also dirty and unkempt on the outside. The room was dark. Old brown paneling. Phone in room had dust and dirt on it. Very depressing. I think their bigger kitchenette rooms are nicer.

Room is in need of updating. Mold in bathroom, kitchen sink dripped, the walls are very thin as we could hear the people next to us talking and the TV very easily just like they were in our room.Noteworthy details: Parking is a challenge, if you have a larger vehicle or truck you may want to park along the street. Owners are rude and check in office is dirty and not inviting.

Fantastic area - had 8+ bald eagles on the beach across from my room both morning and evening. Room was small but impeccably clean I had the lowest cost room in town and at this resort. Several great places to eat in walking distance. Parking was right outside the room. Manager was friendly and very helpful.

Guess I'm supposed to compare this place with rooms in fishing towns. Problem is that I'm not a fisherman and I can only compare it to other get-away places. Can't emphasize enough how small the room was. Could hear every word that they said next door, even knew when they brushed their teeth. Thought my hair dryer broke because it didn't work when I plugged it into either plug (yes, there were only 2). Hair dryer was fine back home so their outlets must not work. Curtain opened from wrong side such that it had to be completely open to let in any air from the slightly open window. Yes, nice location, views, and staff. And it did indeed have a bed, a very hard bed. Guess it would work fine after an exhausting day of fishing. Not so much for a vacation stop.

Clean and comfortable. Rooms are dated but well kept. Kitchenette in our room with fridge and microwave. Walls are thin and you can hear conversations in adjoining rooms but was a good stay regardless. Great value.

It was fine for an overnight stay. Clean and comfortable but nothing fancy. Walls are thin. This place caters to fisherman. Fisherman wake up early and the ones staying in the adjacent room made a lot of noise when they got up at 4am this morning.

Stayed at Curley's in Seiku due to a fishing trip the next day from nearby Neah Bay. Although we ended up arriving after the office had closed, the owner/manager had left a note on the office door with our room number. We were able to go right into our room. He called to check on us to make sure we had gotten there okay and to see if we had any questions which was really nice. The room was very clean but one of the beds had an old, stained top sheet that should have been retired. I let the owner know in the morning as we left to go fishing, and I could tell he was deeply disappointed that that had happened to us.

This room was dated, but very clean. I could hear the other guests and assume they could hear me too. The queen bed we got was stable and comfortable. The owner was very nice and we got exactly what we came here for. Bonus = HUMMINGBIRDS!!!!
