All employees from the leasing consultant/finance department to the front desk were amazing! Everyone was kind, patient, accommodating, and a bonus, had a great sense of humor. Each step of the leasing process was efficient and seamless. Everyone took the time to explain and go over every detail especially when I was confused or unsure. Even when I had a question and made a call to the front desk, she was kind, proactive, and double checked to make sure I was reassured. Nothing felt like a pressure sale or time rush. My best experience at a car dealership!

ASK FOR TWO KEY FOBS BEFORE YOU SIGN. They make an extra $500 every time they sell a car, by only giving one key fob and charging you 500 bucks for the second. When negotiating the price, MAKE SURE THEY INCLUDE TWO KEY FOBS.We signed the papers, and were getting ready to leave with our car. The salesman handed me a key, and I asked for the second FOB, He said it would cost me $500 for the second one. They may tell you some non-sense about a micro-chip shortage. The micro-chip shortage has been mostly mitigated, so you shouldn't accept this excuse.

Had my first year service appointment at University Volkswagen. The technician's information and turnaround time were all great. However, there were two issues:1. I was due to have my gear knob replaced as part of a recall. Despite calling in to confirm if that would be completed as part of this service, they didn't have the part available2. My car was dirtier after the service, and had bird poop on it while returned to me (attached photo)Mistakes happen, and I don't live too far so I don't mind coming back, but my service advisor, Summer Hendrickx, was visibly annoyed when I asked if my car could be cleaned, and didn't seem to care that they'd misinformed me about the gear knob.My apologies, Summer, for expecting my service advisor to do their job on a nice Friday afternoon - probably was too much to ask for Edit: Bumped up to 3 since Ian called and was very helpful!

After my car was in the shop for 3 days to repair a recall, I drove it home (about 40 minutes away) and turned off the car for the night. The following morning I turned on my car and the 'check engine' light came on. It was Friday morning and there were no available service appointments until the following week. I'm not sure how this problem was not caught with the initial repair because I assume that you all did a diagnosis. I had to rearrange my schedule again to get my car back up there and to get back there later that day. Otherwise the service was fine and my car is repaired.

I liked every step of the buying process. Carlos, the salesperson, was very communicative yet, low pressure and didn't feel overwhelming. Negotiating felt fair, and most of all, I love the car.

You asked us to bring the car in for long-overdue recall maintenance. You said you had the parts and began the work, setting the expectation that it would be done in 1-2 days. Then you said you didn't have all the parts and could not complete the repairs for 10+ weeks. So we had a loaner (not as nice the car we are making lease payments on). Plus we spent several hundred dollars buying gas to drive our loaner (the car we are leasing is an EV ID.4).

While the shop was able to get us in quickly, which I appreciated, I asked for a quote before handing over my keys and was told ~$690 +tax. Then when I went to go pick up the car, it was $808. I understand that the tax was $70, but there was also a $50 "shop fee" that I was not told about, and as the shop knew that it would be part of the bill before I gave over my keys, I did not appreciate it being sprung on me. This was just poor form.

Cassandra Strickland, my sales consultant, was great to work with. Not pushy and had cars ready for me to test drive when I got to the dealership. She responded to my questions quickly and she made being at the dealership all those hours much more comfortable.

My latest service experience at University VW was spectacular. I needed my tire pressure checked, along with the replacement of my wiper blades. As soon as I arrived (which was on a whim by the way!), I was immediately greeted. The team already had the heads up, courtesy of the most wonderful John Savo (Audi/VW Head of Service). The appointment took no longer than 15 minutes for both things, which was so helpful given I had my two year old in tow. I ve been a loyal VW/Audi customer my entire life and this experience was just another one in the books. Bravo John and team!

University VW service is amazing. They scheduled me within a week. My service advisor was Summer Hendrickx and she was awesome all throughout the process, as was the tech Tim Schomer. Went in for the catalytic inverter recall. They also checked the coolant and replaced the water pump without any back and forth about warranty. Definitely going back to them even though it s a bit of drive for me from the east side.

Service was great. The person that helped me was nice, organized Lyft pickup and drop off.I dropped car off at 8:15, received text message updates throughout service including a video of a service rep giving a summary of the status of my car. I was notified at about 11am that the service was done. Service and experience 5/5.The reason I am giving 3/5 stars is that prices couldn t be more unreasonable. I paid approx $1,000 for my 80k service. My vehicle is in great condition, nothing special was done on it - The service included an oil change, spark plug replacement, tire rotation and transmission fluid change. $430 was labor (took less than 3 hours), $350 parts, and the rest taxes and fees.I ve looked over each line item on the invoice and the parts are upsold at about 2.5x what they cost online (same parts). My car is worth about $10k, it s a bit unreasonable to pay 10% of the cars value at a service where nothing major is done on the vehicle.

I changed dealers due to service deficiencies at my previous dealer. This dealer was exceptional! They were ready for me when I arrived, quickly took my car in and had me on my way with a complimentary loaner vehicle in minutes. When it was time to pick up my car, it was the same story. They treated me like a valuable customer and I will not only be back for service there, but the next car I buy will be from this dealer. I can't say enough positive things as compared with my previous experiences.

We recently purchased a pre-owned BMW from University Volkswagen, and the experience was exceptional. The team there, particularly T. Sio, made the entire process smooth and effortless for us. T. Sio went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, adjusting the price to meet our expectations and maintaining constant communication throughout the negotiation process.Additionally, Amir, the business manager, efficiently handled all the necessary paperwork and financial details, completing everything within an hour. We appreciated his professionalism and enjoyed his company during this time.Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our purchase and grateful for the outstanding service provided by the team at this dealership.

The service department personnel are very responsive and knowledgeable! Plus, they stand behind their service. Kyle was who helped me recently and he did all he could do to help me with a repair. And, the Service Manager, Ian, also went above board to help. 5 Star Service!

They are great to work with. Very professional and efficient. I would definitely buy a car from University Volkswagen again. Bringing my car in for service is also a seamless experience! Kudos to the managers and employees at this location!

The service performed involved my having a non-working key fob replaced with a working one. We bought our ID.4 new last January, and had it shipped to Juneau from Seattle. When we received it, only one of the key fobs worked. I reported the problem right away, and was sent a replacement fob a few weeks later. Unfortunately, it was not possible for the fob to be programmed in Juneau. After several months of communication about the problem, it became clear that the only way to get a second working fob would be to ship the car back to Seattle. In the intervening period the NHTSA issued a safety recall related to the door handles, which also could only be addressed by shipping the car back to Seattle. The cost of shipping a vehicle round-trip from Juneau to Seattle is in excess of $4,300 and we of course had already paid out-of-pocket to have the car shipped up here when we initially bought it. Not having resolved the problem with University Volkswagen, I reported the situation to Volkswagen Customer Care, and was told that only half of the shipping cost, with a maximum of $2,000 to be reimbursed. Donald Frey at University Volkswagen intervened and was able to get $1,000 of additional payment for us, and we went the car to Seattle to have the work done. Don was very helpful and did a great job of getting his staff to collect the car promptly from Alaska Marine Lines, have the two problems fixed, and got it back for return to Juneau as soon as possible. While that element of the service was excellent, the underlying need to pay over $1,300 out-of-pocket for service to a new car for problems that were in no way caused by us is inherently frustrating. We're happy to have the car back, but having to expend that amount will remain unsatisfactory. That stated, I'm grateful we didn't have to pay any more than we did.

Drop off was easy. The car was serviced quickly, and I really appreciate the summary video sent by the mechanic. The car was clean and spotless upon pickup.

Kyle is a fantastic customer service representative. Always friendly, he goes above and beyond the call of duty to explain and resolve service issues and solutions. A pleasure to work with. Also, the use of a video report by the mechanic (Tim, in this case) to explain the service done and the issues discovered is very helpful and well-executed.

I was told my steering wheel would be available in 3 weeks. However, it was not available at that time and I didn't receive any notification to inform me it wasn't. In addition to that, I was told I couldn't get a ride back to the VW dealership from my home during my first visit in Dec. Everyone at the dealership is friendly. I just wish communication was better and that I didn't get a text at 2 a.m. to tell me I missed an appointment that I in fact hadn't missed.

1. I had a flat tire and was told I needed a new tire. I asked why, because I knew a tire shop would fix it for free. Then they said they could fix it.2. I needed my automatic rain sensor wiper replaced (it never worked). I waited a week for the part, then it came in and they said it didn't work. I asked to get my car because they could not provide an estimate for when another part would come in.

I had a terrible experience at a different dealer closer to my house so I called University VW. What was going to take months elsewhere was super quick. The service department did everything they could to expedite the process and make it easy and they were so nice when I came into the shop, even helping me with my baby. Bought my car here as well and had a great experience then too. Could not recommend University VW more.

Parker did an excellent job answering our questions. He was clear, concise and didn't apply the all-too-common sales pressure. We appreciated his patience in explaining the controls and charging protocol of the ID4.

Kind and helpful service from Katie; amazing turnaround time, a Lyft to and from, everything covered under warranty, AND you washed and vacuumed the car. I am not used to this type of comprehensive service. Thank you!

Communication was on-point. I really appreciated the video update during the service, that was really cool and a large factor in why I would choose this dealership location over a previous one. Staff was amazing. 10/10 would use University Volkswagen again. In fact, I have already ordered additional accessories from their parts department.

I had a great experience purchasing my new car from this dealership. The salesperson I worked with was incredibly helpful and took her time to ensure I got exactly what I was looking for. I'd highly recommend it!

This is your warning to triple check your bill and any work that you get done at this VW location. Not only have they over charged me and charged me for things that were covered under warranty but they have also put the WRONG parts on my car. Again, this was something I paid to have done.1. Charged me $400+ for new battery and labor that they knew was under warranty and did not offer me a refund until I called twice to ASK2. Put the wrong wiper blades on my car and charged me $60 for them then acted annoyed when I asked them to fix it.I was told my refund would take no longer than 2 weeks and I ve been waiting for 3 weeks and asked them to call me back multiple times and no answer. Thanks Ian for running a service shop that scams customers and provided terrible service. I really feel taken care of.

Parker was really great and we enjoyed working with him! Please stop negotiating the price on cars. Honda and Toyota's local dealership stopped and it's a much better experience.

I was greeted with friendly people and everyone seemed like they wanted to help. I was taken care of in an hour and given honest upfront information about my car. I was treated horribly with Carter VW and have been looking for a new service center ever since. I m happy with my first experience at University VW

Bailey the service person is great. Having to wait six weeks for a common part to be sent from Germany is NOT great. Using chat twice is an ineffectual bot who couldn t schedule an appointment and failed to achieve getting me a call back from a human being to schedule was a waste of my time. I nearly decided to take my business to another dealer.
