Having a great, trusted mechanic is just about as important as having a great doctor. Scanwest Autosport is my go-to for all my car s maintenance needs and repairs even tires. I love my 1995 Saab 900 S and only trust the team of specialists here at Scanwest, no other mechanic s hands have touched our Saab since we ve been living in Seattle, over ten years. They work on many other models too, we bring the Volvo here as well.

I recently took my Subaru Legacy to Scanwest and it was an awesome experience! They were able to diagnose the problem, order and install the part SAME DAY. In addition, they were incredibly kind and helpful in explaining the breakdown of what exactly they would be working on and what it would cost. Also! The keys got locked in the car and the team immediately provided a loaner car (so I could grab the spare key), and they installed new wipers (free of charge) and discounted their labor. I will absolutely be taking my car here whenever I have an issue. The technician even called the next day to make sure everything was running smoothly. Highly recommend!

Someone hit my Saab in a parking lot, and I wasn t around. The hit pushed the bumper, lights, and hood to the left. I could no longer open the driver side door. Fortunately, there were no dents in the hood. Saabs are strong! Craig gave me an estimate, and squeezed me into their busy schedule. Now, the front end is like new. Scanwest did an excellent job. I will keep returning for maintenance needs.

So nice to be able to trust the mechanics here. I've been bringing my saabs' here for at least 10 years. They have never let me.down. I recommend them to all other Saab folks... I think Craig and everyone who works here really knows their cars

Found Scanwest via a Facebook SAAB owners group; other people raved about them and with a new to me Saab I needed a shop with great expertise. Craig and the group are a world class shop in Seattle, not just for Saabs but they know the cars well. If you have one, use them for sure.

Scanwest serviced my 85 SAAB 900 for years and two Subarus since the manufacturer s warranties expired.They are the only shop I recommend to my Suby-owning friends.Absolutely first-class folks & work.

My older BMW has always been very well taken care of, at Scanwest - great mechanics, all very personable and good to work with. When I've had something unusual happening with my car, they've been a great resource, and patient with my questions. For me, it's definitely worth the (reasonable) cost of a specialty shop, that knows the needs and specifics of a BMW (my first time owning one, and so it's been a learning experience).

Since I ve been going here, Scanwest has always been fast, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. Easy to schedule, great availability. Even gave me great recommendations for other auto services (towing, windshield replacement, etc.)No need to take a Subaru anywhere else. Much appreciated.

My family has been taking our SAABs, all 4, to ScanWest for over 35 years. Never have we been disappointed. In 2020 I bought a Subaru Forrester to replace a 2004 SAAB. Again, now as a senior citizen, I continue to be impressed with their service, friendliness, and continued ethical practices. You couldn t ask for a better place to do business and have your car serviced/worked on.

100% solid shop. Only shop I ve ever been to that I genuinely trust. Cannot speak more highly of ScanWest and I know every time I take my car here they will find and fix any issues the first time in an honest fashion and almost always same day. Very reasonably priced and beyond reasonable for the quality of work and expertise. I ve been a long time customer for almost 30 years. I ve moved two hours away from Scanwest, and tried a few local auto repair shops and found them less than satisfactory. My cars are too important to not have the best service and people work on them, so I drive to Scanwest to get the work done. I want to give Scanwest a positive review because I do think their customer service is very good; however, my most recent experience with them left me pretty disappointed. I brought in my Saab 9-2x Aero for an alignment after replacing nearly every suspension and brake component. I also asked them to diagnose an ABS warning light. They quickly diagnosed the light, which was caused by a loose wheel speed sensor bolt, easy fix. They also pointed out a loose brake pad which was only held into the caliper by one of the two retention pins. I okayed them fixing this small error. I was fairly surprised when I got the bill and the labor costs came out to $415.77, not including the alignment. That s pretty steep for tightening 1 bolt and putting in a brake pad which had to take 2 minutes at the most. The kicker for me, though, was when I asked to see what the alignment specs were and was told they did not have any way to print it out nor could they even tell me what camber, caster, or toe they set. They also seem to have only aligned the front wheels despite the rear having toe adjustability from the factory bolt. The car definitely handles better than when I drove it in, but that s not surprising considering every component had been replaced. Overall although they are pleasant to deal with and timely with their communication, I would hesitate to take my car back and I will likely need to take it to another shop to get a more detailed alignment.

My family have been taking our Saab cars to Scan West Auto Sport for over 30 years, and I can honestly say that they are the best in the business. They have the expertise, the experience, and the passion for cars that is hard to find anywhere else. They always treat me and my car with respect and professionalism, and they never try to upsell me on unnecessary services or parts. They are honest, fair, and reliable.Recently, I brought my 1986 Saab 900 Turbo in for a tune-up, an oil change, and a brake inspection, among other things. They did a thorough job and gave me a detailed report on the condition of my car. They also advised me on some preventive maintenance that I could do to keep my car running smoothly and safely. They charged me a reasonable price and completed the work on time.I am very happy with the service I received from Scan West Auto Sport, and I highly recommend them to anyone who owns a Saab or a Subaru. They are not just mechanics, the owner Rob and his team are automotive experts and enthusiasts who care about their customers and their cars. They are the only ones I trust with my Saab 900 Turbo, which is more than just a car to me, it is a part of my family. Thank you Rob and the Scan West Auto Sport team for taking good care of my family's cars and me over these last 30 years!

Amazing service! For about $200, ScanWest identified and solved a problem on my 2013 Cooper that Seattle Mini charged me THOUSANDS to misidentify and not fix. I will be going back to ScanWest for my Cooper and Subaru

Bought my 1998 Saab 900 turbo which had leaks, engine issues and I also crashed it they transformed my car from looking like something that you'd find for like 300 dollars on Craigslist into my glorious Saab 900 that I have today.I would recommend them to anyone who owns a Saab. They do high quality work, got my car back better than when I first bought it.(I opted not to have the bumper repainted)

They replaced the starter and said they d hold onto my old starter for a few weeks, just in case the new one did not resolve my intermittent starting problems. Pretty amazing. AND provided a rental for $20/day!

I am a long time Saab owner and this was my first visit to Scanwest who were highly recommended to me.From my first phone call to picking up the car the service and support from everyone was amazing !I had significant mechanical and suspension work done and my car (91 900T Cvt)has never performed as well as it does now.Scanwest knows Saabs.
