Honest guy, which is hard to find these days. He was patient when finding the issue with my car when my check engine light came on several times, and is prices are really good - he did not over charge me nor did he try to nickel and dime me for parts and labor. Peter and his guy(s?) are simply the best car mechanics I've ever done business with. I originally called him about some sluggish starting with my Corolla. He told me I could come in immediately or the next morning. I decided to risk it until the following morning for work schedule reasons, but my car decided to die that morning right when I was getting ready to drive to his shop.I let him know, and he called a tow truck for me. When the tow company fell through, he and his employee personally drove to my apartment without me even asking and rope-towed me to the shop so that I could be back in action ASAP before the weekend.He was able to replace my busted starter the same day and charged me a very agreeable price for the whole situation. Now I can get to work tomorrow at a time in my life when I really can't afford to miss a shift.It's nice to find a mechanic with a good soul. Sincerely--don't pass this guy up.

If you have been looking for a good mechanic, stop looking. Peter Tran is the one. He is honest, hard-working, sincere, and trust-worthy. He saved my Honda-CRV and saved me thousands of dollars. RECOGNIZE BY THE BBB AS AN HONEST BUSINESS WITH NO DISCREPANCY CLAIMS AGAINST HIM.(you'll see his award in his shop along with other certificates) BEST, MOST TRUSTWORTHY MECHANIC AROUND! My husband's family has been going to him for 20+ years and now that I started going through him, I won't trust anyone else with my car except for Peter! He's genuine, honest and one of the most trustworthy mechanics I've ever encountered! He's one of the only mechanics I feel fully confident about not overcharging for a bunch of work your car doesn't need like how other mechanics try to do, especially with women!If you're elderly or a woman or just don't know much about cars, you can feel confident in Peter not taking advantage of you. He prides himself on having good morals and values. It's hard to come across honest mechanic shops like his especially nowadays. Even though I moved over 30 miles away, he's the only mechanic shop I'll go to and now I have my mom along with my side of the family going through him also. Sorry for the long review but Peter deserves the best of the best!

Cheapest price for the most honest and quality work. Dealerships charge me almost double what Peter does. He even goes out of the way to tell me what I need/ don t need/ and will need in the future unlike dealerships who overcharge me for anything and anything. I ve known this family for years and they ve always done a great job with my car. Highly recommend.

Peter is the best! I've been a customer of his for about 6 years and he is always honest, fast and takes the time to explain to you what's going on until you understand. He is the only mechanic I know that is able to get me in same day or next day almost every time. His prices are very reasonable compared to other mechanics and always gets the job done fast. I will always recommend him to anyone that needs a good mechanic. I hope he never retires because I am a customer for life.

Terrible mechanic Do Not TrustBrake lines failed before and he claims nothing was done wrong even though it was right after I had my brakes fixed. everything else he s ever fixed on my car failed within a week. Paid $150 for him to spray WD40 inside my ignition cylinder. Failed the next day. I thought it was a one time thing but honestly it s happened 4 times. I don t know how he has good reviews I honestly think he buys them. My first review I ve ever made about a person because I ve wasted so much time at this shop. If his repairs fail, he ll fix them for free but I m just tired of coming in the shop for the same things. Taking my business elsewhere.

This is a good place to go to get your car serviced. The prices are very reasonable perhaps 1/2 of what you would expect to pay at a dealership. Service is quick, polite and complete. Peter Tran is the owner and his focus is on completing the job and making his customers happy. When you see the bottom line in dollars that you will pay, you will not be surprised because of his timely estimates and no surprises. Each time I go there I am completely confident of getting the best service at a very reasonable price.

Horrible experience went in to get my sensor changed and asked if everything went fine n was told he couldn t tell me due to the fact I didn t pay extra to get it diagnosed

I needed the rear spark plugs and ignition coils on my minivan replaced, Peter didn't try to argue with me to do something different or get more work done, though he said he'd check to see if my exhaust leak may be causing power loss as well. He got it done in a few hours and charged me a very fair price after working out how much labor and parts would be in my presence. Peter let me know the exhaust leak was far back enough it shouldn't cause power loss, and he even gave me some fuel injection cleaner gratis after I paid the bill. He let me know my brake pads needed changed (which I know, I'll do it sometime in the next few weeks), but didn't try to pressure me to get them fixed then & there. Very friendly, professional, not overpriced, and fast. Probably the best auto repair experience I've ever had.

Honest, fast, communicative! My whole family has been taking their cars to Peter for 10 years and we LOVE him. I don't even live near his shop anymore and I still find a way to drop my car off there when it needs work because I don't trust anyone else as much.He always makes time to get our issues solved right away, calls me as soon as he figures out the issue to discuss options and be sure I understand them all, and never overcharges. Can't recommend him enough!

I've been going to Peter Tran Auto Repair for about six years now and have always been satisfied with his timeliness, his price, his work and his customer service. I've taken a Saturn hatchback and the Ford Focus hatchback, both from the early 2000s to him. Great job Peter, thanks and keep it up!

Peter Tran, owner, operator, mechanic, all but (Chief Cook and Bottle Washer), Peter and his Mechanic do it all.Everything on all my cars and pickup that needs a Mechanic that does not require me to go to the dealer, always goes to Peter Tran Automotive.Every visit to Peter Trans shop has produced Fast Completion, Work done Properly, and the Best Price around.Peter is also Certified to do many Warrentee services on vehicles that Car Dealers do, and some services they don't do, including two engines replaced, one I supplied, the other Peter supplied, as well as gaskets, seals, oil, tune up, and antifreeze.Peter Tran has earned a great reputation around here for the last Ten Years, and I look forward to many more.Thank you Peter, andMerry Christmas.Dennis A Warren.

This shop is not good place to fix my vehicle, my timing belt broke ,he didn't put in a new belt to test the engine. He just took out some parts and tell me to fix the hold engine, i have to pay 2900 dollars to fix my car run. Then I call another shop, they fix my vehicle only 1200 dollars. It's a big difference money to fix my vehicle. He doesn't do anything to my vehicle and charge me 290 dollars .i say we both vietnamese, he didn't do anything my vehicle, please charge me less money. But he charged the same 290 dollars. II really feel bad this Peter shop, please carefully if someone bring your car here to fix vehicle, you will be get charged more double money to fix your vehicle.Please carefully everyone.

I just got my car over the weekend after paying $500 after being told I would charged $400 for a water pump and my is still car overheating due to the water pump. I am not certain if Peter put in a new one or if he fixed the problem because my car is worst now and I drive able... bad for business and it was my first going to him very disappointed in my service
