I can't even begin to express how upset I am with this shop. The level of incompetence and deceit just boggles my mind, and it's been an absolute nightmare dealing with them.Unfortunately for me, my insurance company chose them without my input. The shop estimated the repair would take 2 days, but they ended up keeping my car for over a MONTH. For the past 3 weeks I've called almost every day for an update, and every single time they told me it would be ready within 30 minutes/2 hours/by the end of the day. Finally I got so fed up I had my insurance company start calling them instead. They continued lying about the timeline for another 5 days until I was finally told it was ready.But the saga doesn't end there! They didn't even manage to fix the car in the 33 days they had it. When I picked it up the check engine light was still on and the car makes a horrific noise. At this point I don't care how much another shop charges me to finish fixing my car, I'll be taking it somewhere else and gladly pay whatever it takes not to deal with northwest ever again.Update: I took my car to another shop to finish the repair. They told me the job done by Northwest Best Auto Repair was by far the worst work they've ever seen and done by someone who clearly had no idea what they were doing. They had to cut out the entire section Northwest had worked on and start over from scratch. Northwest only put in one converter when there should be two, they totally forgot to put in an oxygen sensor, and the welds were atrocious. Even to my untrained eye, it looked so bad I had to take pictures (attached). Luckily the other shop was able to finish the whole repair in less than 24 hours, where Northwest took a month to do a bad job. So in conclusion, if you care about your car and actually want it fixed, take it ANYWHERE else!

As a first time car owner when my check engine light came on i freaked out sooooo much, but North West Best Auto repair made it so easy. I took my car in and they took amazing care of me, the people at front desk we so polite and walked me through everything. Once they knew what was wrong it took less then 3 hour and i drove away with a smile on my face and not a hole in my pocket. *THIS COMPANY USED MY CAR FOR THEIR OWN PERSONAL LEISURE WHILE I WAS GONE!!!* They had my car for over 3 months while I was away in Texas to fix a fuel pump and the windshield. The business closed while I was away, and they left my car at the place they sent it to get to get windshield replaced. The owner of the windshield place was upset that they didn't pay him yet(even though I paid them to pay him), so I paid twice for my windshield replacement just so I could get my car back. The car was spilling gas out everywhere because they didn't not successfully repair my fuel pump and I had to take it to someone who knew what they were doing. Now here is the best part, I open the trunk and there are a bunch of things that aren't mine including rolled up carpets, a flashlight, a huge pair of bolt cutters, and a bag full of women's clothes. I am a male, and the owner of this place was a male... he either crossdresses or he lent out/rented out my car to someone while I was gone. The car also has a nice black scuff on the side that wasn't there before. Apparantly they are still in business but just relocated. READ ALL COMMENTS BEFORE DECIDING TO DO BUSINESS HERE.

They used to be decent, but of late they ve become the worst service in the whole of Seattle. I went for an engine oil leakage fix, which they took a week to fix. I paid about $1k, and then also it wasn t fixed and the oil kept draining.Now when i call again to rebook the appointment, no one ever picks up the phone. so I ll finally have to go elsewhere, and i burned through $1K cash and countless oil refills

Me and my wife only come here because they always take care of us in a professional and timely manner. Recently Kenny gave us a great deal on a set of tires and had us back on the road the same day for our trip. We felt a lot better taking our journey knowing our vehicle was safe.

I brought my car here a few months ago when the engine suddenly began making a loud whining noise. They told me the whine was coming from the timing chain side of the engine and there was also a rod knock. They wanted $4500 to rebuild the engine so I brought it to another shop for a second opinion. The other shop told me the whine was coming from the power steering pump (which is on the opposite side from the timing chain) and there was no knock. I replaced the power steering pump and my car resumed running perfectly and quietly, so the second shop was clearly correct. I don't know if this was attempted fraud or if they're just incompetent, but either way you should not bring your car here for any reason.Edit: I've added my receipt to show that I did go to this shop. They misspelled my name on it which is probably why they couldn't find a record of my visit. The person behind the counter said it would be $4500 for an engine rebuild but didn't provide a written quote.

Every time I come here, the employees are very professional. They helped me out with my Subaru they checked the brakes tires suspension and engine for me the one issue it had they were very thorough in explaining to me and showing me what was going on. My only shop I trust

Great service, friendly staff and very competitive pricing. I can always count on them to get my car service promptly. I recommend North West Best if you're looking for a reliable auto shop.

They charge a lot was so expensive repair and less of 2 month we need to bring back again the car for the same problem and they charged again! When we asked to the father why his response was really really rude! I strongly recomend Do not take your car there!!!!

Josh is a great mechanic, helpful and flexible. He stayed late and helped with my Leaf on the Friday before Memorial Day with not a single grumble.

Horrible experience. Run the other way. My son's car still doesn't run and he is out a vehicle and $500. He was treated with complete disregard and Kenny was dishonest. Would mot recommend doing anything with thos shop.

They stayed open late to help me out and replaced my belts for a very reasonable price. I think the business is moving, but they were really great to me.

Starter went out right before the weekend I was planning on going on vacation. I got it towed to the nearest shop which was here and they had me fixed and on the road the very next day. Life savers thank you !

Squeezed me in at the end of the day, The guy stayed even past closing to help me out and change my battery that was dead. i think his name was Kenny . we will be back very soon for our next service
