Doug and Raoul go above and beyond the call of duty to be helpful. The mechanic who referred me (almost 15 years ago) said, "I'd trust Doug with my wife's car".

Raoul and his crew have always done well for us working on a variety of vehicles and brands over many many years. They are both friendly and direct - never any bull or trying to upsell us.

We needed a check up for our car and they did it very good and fairly fast! Prices are also competitive. They didn t try to sell us extra things that the car didn t need, so that s highly appreciated. We will definitely use their services in the future!

This is the best of the best. My mother and I have been coming here for 20 years. Raul is amazing. He is always honest and fair. If you need work done on your car there is no where else you should go. The quality of the service and pricing is unbeatable. He has kept our cars going past 400,000 miles.

I wasn't sure about this guy when I first met him. He was recommended by another mechanic I had used before but didn't do the work I wanted. I was given an estimate of like a couple hundred dollars and in the end came out to about half that. He also checked out and brought to my attention several other things that were going on with my truck. So, I was very pleased. I had the work done six months ago and the truck is still running great. So, you can expect a good, honest job done by this man.

They are great! Reasonably priced, they get it if you can't afford to fix everything at once, and will advise you as to what is most urgent. They're prompt, and very nice! There haven't been any surprises, they always let you know what they'd,re doing or need to and howuch it will cost. It's been great having them work on our cars!

I was recommended to this place by a friend. I've taken 4 different cars here, and every time I get great service and an HONEST assessment. It's difficult to find a mechanic you can trust, and so I often play dumb when I'm feeling one out, even though I've done my own brakes, head gasket replacement, AC diagnostic and recharges, etc. Not once did I feel like these guys were trying to make a quick buck; they are in it to be your mechanics for life. They have a decent amount of regulars, and I'm happy to be one of them.

Did my water pump at a very fair price. The work was on time and well performed. Northwest Automotive will have my business from now on. Raoul was very nice and attentive and treated me right. What else can a customer ask for. Give these folks your business.

Raul is awesome! He is very knowledgable and trustworthy. Communication was great, and so was the customer service. I was embarrassed to bring my old beat up Saturn to his shop, but he didn't give me a hard time about it, and did a great job fixing it up. Very honest and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

This shop, and Raoul specifically, took such great care of me and my car. I really appreciated the patient explanations and the absence of sales pressure. I will definitely be returning when I have need of service or repairs. Thank you!

I spoke to NW Automotive on the phone about options for my 17 year old Honda, and they walked me through all my concerns and gave honest advice about what should be done versus what could wait as I'm considering a new car. I so appreciate the openness about what is necessary and what will actually change the way it drives, especially for a car nearing the end of its lifespan with us! Couldn't have been nicer on the phone and the prices they quoted were really reasonable and transparent.

These guys are my go to!! Very friendly, reasonable, able to describe the repairs and costs, what can wait/not wait. Really kind and very knowledgeable. Raoul who works the front and leads the team there is the best!!

I read the comments of other reviewers and decided to come to this place. They called me and said my car is ready. But they didn t do anything to my car (it was still at exact the same spot as I left a mark when I parked my car), but still charging me a fee. I am only telling my experience. It is really up to you to make your own decision. Good luck!

I have had my truck repaired at Northwest Automotive a number of times. Each time, everything goes like clockwork. The communication is good. The estimate is fair and the job is done when they say it will be. If you need a great place to have work done on your vehicle, look no furtther!

Know what they are doing and aren't trying to rip you off, in fact they recommended I try something that ended up resolving my issue and prevented me having to take my vehicle in for service and costing me money, I highly recommend them

I was recommended to this place by a shop that I trust. I was having electrical issues with my extended Chevrolet Express with the 6.6L LMM Duramax in it. Engine wasn't turning the starter, and the automatic transmission would get stuck in limp mode. This is a one of a kind vehicle with only 100,000 miles on it that they don't make anymore. This vehicle is my baby, and it should be treated like one by every mechanic that comes across it. It has some rust spots because it came from Alaska, but it's in great condition. This vehicle is worth upwards of 15k.These guys hit a new low in shotty mechanic work, and I'll explain why:Even though my electrical issues were related to the transmission, these guys were convinced right away that it was my security ignition key system. At the time I was in over my head, so I let them go at it. They said they would call me the next day to give me an update. I got no call. So after waiting all day, I call them an hour before they close. They answer to say "oh yeah your vehicle has been done for a few hours". Ok so they just forgot about me then?I hop in my van after paying them and find that the check engine light is on when I get in. Did they even take the vehicle for a test drive after working on it?! I go back in to the owner of the shop (who was at the front counter) and tell him what I saw. He comes out and notices my engine coolant pump is unplugged. He carelessly plugs it back in, bending plastic and hoses in front of my eyes. I could have taken off with this unplugged and my engine would have overheated.I went home and noticed they had used flathead screwdrivers to pop out my dashboard and get to the wires behind the steering wheel. It was a mess, they bent my plastic around my steering wheel breaking off several joints so it'll never sit properly together again. They missed several times with their flathead screwdriver and jacked up my brand new dashboard plastic. IT LOOKED LIKE SOMEBODY HAD TRIED TO HOTWIRE MY VAN.On top of this, they didn't fix the transmission electrical issue. It came back a few days later. I was a tool and took it back to them again when I shouldn't have. This time the owner was convinced it was the starter. Left the van with him for 2 whole days, apparently he went through 3 different starters before he got one to crank my engine. This didn't fix my problem either. I paid him for a whole new starter and took the van home. Transmission limp mode electrical problem came back yet again. This time I was done with these guys. Took my Chevrolet van to the Chevrolet dealership on Aurora to have their master mechanic look at my electrical. They fixed it within a few hours. It was my Body Control Module and it's connectors (most likely just the connectors going to it) they replace the whole module and put on new connectors. This fixed EVERYTHING. Even my ABS system which was unexpected.I am now having starter issues again just a year later... Unresponsive starter solenoid. I take a look in my brand new fusebox (that I had installed myself prior to taking my van to this shop) and find a makeshift copper wire bridging between my fuel pump relay and my starter fuse. On top of that, my "new" starter this shop put in is missing the OEM heat shield that goes around the solenoid to protect it from the heat of the engine. My old starter had it on there. This shop misplaced my OEM heat shield somehow and didn't say a word about it.It's also not good practice to buy starters from China. You want OEM rebuilt starters from Mexico or the US. These guys put on a cheap starter from China. These are not ASE certified technicians as far as I'm concerned. They don't care about your vehicle one bit. They didn't use proper tools and procedures to take apart my vehicle, jacked up my dashboard like someone trying to hotwire a vehicle. Left my coolant pump unplugged. I've had better experiences at run-down small shops in Tacoma. Had to order new dashboard plastic from GM to replace what they had jacked up because my baby does not deserve to be treated or look like this.

Though I hoped my truck wasn't much too fix. Northwest Automotive Inc. explained too me my truck was toast. The cost was resolved. And I ended up in agreement with them. I took a loss but ended up donating my truck to a Ford F-150 lover.

I don't trust anybody else! They've made sure that my old 2000 Chevy S10 was in tip-top condition over the past 10 years. I would recommend them to anyone!
