It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust, but Nix Auto Care is the rare exception. I had them put a rebuilt motor in my Land Cruiser a year ago and have been a loyal customer ever since. They have repeatedly provided excellent work at a fair price. I appreciate their honesty on what work needed to be done and also what work was less critical. Very happy with our experience at Nix Auto Care! From the first phone call for a quote to leaving with a new timing belt, we could not be happier with the level of service from the team at Nix Auto Care. We were given an incredibly reasonable bid for the work needed on our vehicle and scheduling was easy over the phone. They worked efficiently to get us our vehicle back without much delay and the price at the end matched what we were expecting. Nix has a very transparent team that knows their business and communicates clearly. We are very happy with the service provided by Nix and will be using them as our regular shop moving forward. Thank you Nix for a great experience!

Big thank you to the guys that work there.I brought my first car and within a month, that bad boy was barely making it. Finally one day the rear left wheel locked and I almost spun out going about 50. It was a pretty scary experienceI took it to 2 other mechanics and boy you would have thought I offended them trying to get them to fix it.Then I came here and immediately I felt like they at least cared about doing a good job, and I was right.The car took some time to fixed and they communicated through the whole way. This was my first time buying a car, almost crashing, going through the mechanic process and I m purely overjoyed that it was so smooth (as you can tell by this long review).Just big thank you to these guysServices: Steering & suspension repair, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment

EXCELLENT! I can't say enough good things about this business. Matt was so helpful in diagnosing an issue with the brake booster in our car. The repair work was quick, thorough, and pricing was fair. If you're looking for a no-frills garage that's honest, does good work and charges reasonable prices, you should consider Nix Auto Care. I brought my pickup here last week to get the heater core replaced. They subsequently discovered there were issues with the thermostat and water pump, as well. All the necessary parts were replaced and my pickup runs much better now. Communication was clear and the pricing was transparent the entire time (as well as being very reasonable).Service: General repairs & maintenance

I am writing this review after having the guys at Nix Auto service 2 vehicles over the past 3 years, consisting of both routine maintenance as well as major repairs. When I moved to Seattle I had a couple bad experiences with mechanics around the city before I was referred to Nix. These guys time and time again proved w/o a shadow of a doubt that they are extremely trustworthy and competent. They also take the time to explain to you, the problems with your vehicle and what your options are so you can make an educated decision about your repairs. We had our car broken into and the steering column was destroyed. We took our Jeep to Nix and they replaced the steering column, the broken side window and even fixed a clip that was broken in one of our power windows. When we got it back, we found the sensors in the new column were faulty, so we took it back to Nix and they repaired it for free! With everything on back order right now, getting these parts wasn t easy, but Nix kept us apprised of timelines and shipping dates. The jeep drives better now than it did before! Honest, communicative and AFFORDABLE. Found the trifecta! Thank you so much, Matt and Clay, for making this traumatizing event so much easier on us. This auto care offered excellent service with fair prices. My old 97 Toyota started sputtering while in drive and it couldn t go faster than 30 mi so I immediately drove over to this auto care place (recommended to me) and hoped that they could somehow fix it in not a long time. I also dreaded the potential expensive repair. But the staff was friendly and honest and explained to me what exactly the problem is. Turned out a previous mechanic messed up some wires in the engine/didn t properly tighten some components and things got loose and wonky (my words, not their s). The repair was done and the price was more than fair with the service they provided. And now it drives better than when I first got it. Definitely satisfied with the care they provided my old car.

Took my car in for what I thought was going to be a disaster (check engine is never a good sign). The guys at Nix performed a diagnostic test, fixed the issue & had me out in no time. Came back about a month later for an oil change & was in & out in no time. The guys are the best! They got my car up and running way faster than I expected and for less than other shops quoted. They were friendly and informational. And all around matt and clay were amazing. I will definitely return. And I reccomend them to anyone who wants friendly affordable and reliable auto care.

The owners at Nix s Auto Care put me in a dangerous situation that was completely avoidable. My 2005 Chevy had normal wear and tear and they didn t inform me of the issues and allowed me to believe my car was safe. When I first brought my car to Nix s for a power steering issues, they fixed it and it seemed ok for several months (since we re in quarantine, I hardly drove it). By summer, it was leaking again and I brought it back to get examined. This time, they said it was a faulty o-ring, which they fixed. They also mentioned the left hub being damaged. It was on my list to fix, but I hadn t planned it, so I wanted to wait for pay day. I waited two days and drove no more than 10 miles when my power steering exploded! The steering seized out of nowhere. I called them back to tell them what happened. They offered to look again. This is where they became unprofessional. Suddenly, they were too scared to drive my car because the hub was so badly damaged and want nothing to do with my car. They never stressed to me my car s hub was that bad! Since I m not a mechanic, I relied on their expertise to inform me. I also asked what else would needed repair on my car, sensing a pattern. They came back with a ridiculous list of about $4,546 of parts and labor, including a part that might not be broken but would ensure my steering would never have issues again. Back in March when they first fixed my car, they failed to tell me my car had more issues than just power steering, including worn ball bearings, shocks, and more. If they had just told me the wear and tear, I may have decided not to invest in the power steering or could have fixed it all at once! When I came to discuss this, they were unprofessional, stating they didn t want to upsell me. When I contacted another mechanic, they informed me it would cost $2,500 to get my car safe to drive, and that these issues don t appear over night and we re present back in March. They caused me a lot of grief and they could have told me so much sooner that my car needed work. I relied on Nix s Auto Care and they failed to keep me safe. It was extremely unprofessional and dangerous.Service: Steering & suspension repair

I've been dealing with these guys for years and they are always very helpful. I have sent friends down there for car repair and always are impressed with their honesty, thoroughness and the competitive pricing. I think they have one of the better mechanics in town working there. Nice guy and he's smart.

Have been trying to get my van operable for a while. Have contacted nix more than once but have not had any luck getting nix interested in providing the services to repair the van. Has part but has not indicated when, or if, repair will be initiated. Until I get this resolved nix will get, notzero rating but - MINUS ONE RATING!!!!!

Took my fathers Murano to two other shops and received estimates that were so high. I was recommended to come here and so happy I did. The prices were fair. Will be a repeat costumer from now on.

Nick's Auto Care is by far the best Matt who runs the auto shop is great he does not try to rip people off he's a businessman first and foremost and customer service and willing to work with people is through the roof five stars

I was in town on a business trip when my water pump went out. Matt got me right in when I explained my situation! I had my car back in a few hours! I wish I lived in this area so I could use them for my regular repair shop!

Made an appointment with matt days before. Showed up and was treated like I had nuts growing off my face and he had no idea. Being told there were 2 people before me after having an appointment for a diagnostic I left. Not professional at all
