CARSTAR Murray's is truly the best Tesla-certified body repair shop. The waitlist to get an appointment booked is very long but totally worth the wait. The shop promptly provides all the details in repair costs once the car is in the shop and walks you through the process. Every week you get automatic updates on the progress until it is complete. All staff are very professional and courteous. The hourly rates are not the cheapest but again, the super high quality of work speaks for itself. When I picked up my Model 3 from the shop, it looked just like a brand new car. Their work is like magic.Service: Body & Trim

Service has been amazing, the person at the reception and doing the updates (Abbie and Ashlynn) have been fantastically nice and patient, I never had such a service anywhere else.I appreciated having a clear update on the status every week. The expectations on the delay and the process were made super clear from the beginning. The part I found inconvenient is their process (but it was clear before I dropped the car, so no faulting their service here). The vehicle is immobilized for so long because the way they organize the process: they did an estimate with all the elements to fix (a bumper mainly for me) but wouldn't order it before deposing the old one.So the vehicle sat on their parking lot for multiple weeks while there was maybe a total 2 or 3 actual days needed for doing the work. Ideally I would have expect at most 1 week without my vehicle for a bumper issue.I understand how it maximizes their efficiency, but since I don't own any other vehicle it may not be a convenient setup for me.

Thanks so much! It s just as good as new!! It was a pleasure working with you. Abbie was amazing, professional, and understanding. I didn t have a single hiccup everything went so smoothly, not to mention my car looks like nothing ever happened to her!! only complain was the wait. But was well worth it at the end of the day, because it was so professionally done. I m so glad I took my Tesla here! Thanks Abbie and everyone else who helped me out! Hopefully I won t be back but if I need to I ll be here!

Murray s CARSTAR was fantastic from start to finish. They were efficient, professional, and communicative. They let me know about any delays obtaining parts along the way (not their fault - supply chain issues). I recommend Murray s wholeheartedly!

Murray s is surprisingly fast with repairs. My vehicle had some serious front end damage and I had my car back within 30 days. I really appreciate the weekly text updates received to keep me abreast in the repair progress. If I ever get into another accident (knock on wood) and need someone to take care of me, Murray s is where I m headed.

Once they could get me in, the communication and quality of work is top notch! The problem is that we need more Tesla certified shops like this, to solve the issue of long waits to get in, and then long fix times because all of their technicians are having to work on so many cars at once. Murray s CARSTAR, please open more locations!

While their appointments are booked crazy far out (so are all other body shops servicing teslas) their customer service is amazing! Moved my appointment up the moment they had availability, were very communicative, kept me updated every single step of the way, and were done well ahead of schedule. Will 100% be going back if I ever need any more work done.

Honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had at a repair shop. My car came in with road grime and damage to the rear bumper. Left looking as good as when I first picked it up at a dealership. I expect good repair work. I did not expect to have the car look like I took it in to have it detailed. Literally spotless inside and out. They also got me my car two weeks ahead of schedule. I appreciate everyone's hard work and excellent communication!

I chose Murray's because of the reviews were outstanding. It took a little while to get the car into the shop for repairs but I wasn't dissapointed with the service and the outcome. It was worth the wait!

They work well with StateFarm insurance and the entire process was smooth.Parts were delayed because of Tesla, nothing to do with their shop. The only downside was it is in south Seattle pretty far from the main suburbs

You better not be in a hurry to get your car fixed, because it takes what seems to me like an extraordinary amount of time to first get on their schedule and then for them to perform the repairs. Having said that, the quality of their work is excellent. As the saying goes, like it never happened.

Process was easy. Initially would have taken months to get my car in but there was a cancellation so I got in within a few weeks. Car looks like it did before the accident. The staff was friendly and they work with the rental car company so the rental car came to Carstar for pickup and drop off. Car was washed and detailed when I picked it up and it was finished slightly sooner than expected. Very good experience.

Magnificent service. Comfortable, communicative, and even went above and beyond to get the repair done inside my rental limit when the supplier delayed the parts twice! Thanks to everyone at Murray's!Edit: Second time here, same verse. Clear communication, great repairs, great service, and they were even done early! Highly recommend getting on their calendar ASAP - they often are able to move up appointments.

They did an awesome job fixing our Model Y after a deer jumped out in front of us on the highway. They negotiated with the insurance company and kept us informed during the whole repair process. Love the outcome and the service.

Let me start with this is the first time I have felt it to be necessary to leave a BBB review. My truck, unfortunately, wound up in the body shop for the second time in 6 months after 15 years of no wrecks. The initial wreck cost over $20k and was strictly body damage from a windstorm. The entire body was delivered like it was driven with zero miles off the lot. Keep in mind this was from the previous shop. So, let us get to the second shop. I got into an accident that required me once again to get ahold of a body shop that required more internal repairs. Initially, the girl at the front desk that I spoke with was so so so so very helpful and made me feel better with just her attitude about just wrecking my truck. She handled calling the tow company to come and pick up the truck from my property and have it hauled to Murrays Car Star Collision Center. She was nice enough to follow through even after her work hours to make sure the driver knew where to drop the truck and keys after hours on a Friday. Perfect customer service skills and follow through! Here is where the issue comes in! It had been a week and a half after it had been taken from my house, so I called to check on the progress. Lisa Murray" the owner I believe says to me, "that my truck by no means should have been dropped off on a Friday, let alone after hours and that they had no way of securing it". I then informed her in a manner that was annoyed but professional that, well hey, I want my stuff secured as well, but that is an internal staffing information issue that is not my problem. I was then told that "nothing has been done on your truck and that we are 2 weeks out from even starting on it". A week and a half into a vehicle being taken, that should have been stated sooner. When I replied, "if I would have known that I would have taken it somewhere else who would expedite the schedule", the response I received was along the lines of "go ahead and try but you're out of luck" (that is not verbatim, but close). So, one month and a week later, I called last Friday to see if I can come in and check on the quality of the paintwork as I just had a $22K body and paint job done 2 months prior. I was told, "Yes! stop by Monday it is out of paint today and it will give it time to cure over the weekend and then we can take a look Monday."Monday, today I and my GF show up at the body shop to find the hood of my truck sitting on a stand in the parking lot covered in pollen and who knows what else, obviously after paint. Ok, business is good, love to hear that, and maybe it has been cured already. So, I ask the first gentlemen who approached me if we could go ahead and check out the rest of the truck as there was internal front-end damage. The extent of the repair was isolated to the front passenger corner, but residual damage occurred that required paint blending. I have plenty of experience in the industry and I have to say this was some of the shottiest work I have seen try to be sold. There were literal raindrop-sized drips in the paint. Spots that look like sand in the paint, literal fracture cracks in the Hood. The response I got from the Shop Manager was, "go to any new car dealership and you will find 15+ imperfections in each panel like the ones you're showing me." Now here is where it gets to bad business!!!!!I was asked to come and "Point out issues", when the manager did not like what I had to say about me taking delivery of the truck in this less than pre-loss condition (keep in mind the scope if their work is from the back of the front doors on a 2013 Silverado crew cab) he has the nerve to take the conversation the complete opposite 50% of the truck that has nothing to do with him, that in fact looks top-notch covered in the dust compared to the outside paint booth work being done at this place. When they were no longer willing to let me point out issues and they wanted to argue and not listen, I went to pull my phone out of my pocket and the owner reacted as though I was pulling a weapon. All the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They kept me informed on the process along the way and the best is the courtesy detailing. Made my car feel new again. Would highly recommend.

Murrays was transparent in every step of the repair to my Tesla. They texted with the progress of parts delivery, the repairs, and (a minor) delay. They quickly answered any question I had via text. It was a great way to get a progress report.

I'm a little late on this review, but here goes: My 2016 IS 350 was damaged twice in the span of a month (terrible luck! not my fault!) and the family-run team at Murray's really helped me out both times. I was a picky customer and they were totally up-front and honest about what they could and couldn't do. Their communication is great, they accommodated several special requests, they had no problems working with USAA and StateFarm, they coordinated with Enterprise so that rentals were ready and waiting in their lot at drop-off, and the quality of their work is high. Pre-accident condition is the standard, but they ended up exceeding that standard. Thanks go to Bryan, Lisa, Gina, Jorge, and their whole team of technicians!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Not a five because of the long wait times to get repair appointments (5 months ++). To be fair they said they are working on it. More people deserve high quality body shops like them.

Great shop. I took my model 3 in for repairs because of 2 accidents. I had to deal with 2 insurance companies and CARSTAR made it super easy. I chose communication with text and they were excellent with keeping me updated with the repairs. Repairs look great. They even replaced my PPF.Services: Painting, Body & TrimServices: Painting, Body & Trim

Carstar did really well keeping me in the loop on the status of parts, repairs and the overall progress. I was very impressed with their front office staff. They were courteous and accomodating. The work done on the vehicle looks great. I could not tell which spoofed off the car was damaged upon picking up the car. One con was the length of time it took to get the work done.
