My experience with Medlock and Sons started off on a promising note, but it quickly deteriorated into a nightmare that has left me questioning the competence of the said establishment.I entrusted them with my Tesla, a prized possession, having read the commendable reviews about their servicing skills. The problem was a simple one, an issue with my car's battery. I was assured it would be an easy fix, which resulted in my Tesla being with them for two weeks just to have a battery replaced.To my horror, once returned, the Tesla was afflicted with multiple issues it didn t previously have. The 'easy fix' was nowhere to be seen; instead, the battery drain issue had compounded. The car s acceleration was hampered, the autopilot function became erratic, even the interior lights had glitches.This gross negligence not only caused me great inconvenience but also resulted in significant financial strain, having to shell out for extra repairs that were not even necessary in the first place had they completed the battery job right.The prime query here is: How could a Tesla Expert' like Medlock let something on this scale of incompetence and negligence happen!?! Wonderful service and clearly insightful. Carl is an incredibly experienced engineer and did a great job doing a pre-purchase inspection on a used vehicle I wanted to purchase, giving me confidence that the car was in great condition.6 Months after my inspection, the car is still running like a dream, so I think Carl did a great job assessing it.

During the process of buying a used Tesla from a third party I contacted the team at Medlock with some technical questions. They were completely happy to answer all my questions, did not try to upsell me on services I did not need.So great to have local experts who know these cars and are filling a need of EV Mechanical expertise and help.Most mechanics will just blow you off and not offer helpful advice, so thank you very much for being a great part of the community.

Carl is the best. If you have a roadster and are lucky enough to live in Seattle Medlock and Sons is a no brainer. Even if you live elsewhere in the country you are better off shipping your car here and getting things done right by someone with integrity.

Knowledgeable and helpful. Have spoken to Carl many times over the years and he knows his stuff, especially when it comes to the Tesla Roadster. They are also making new parts to keep these rare cars on the road. Highly recommend Medlock and Sons.

I called and was told that the next available appointment would be 7 months from now to get my suspension lubricated. It's December and they would do it in June. They said that there are 253 cars ahead of me. They are clearly not #1 service center if they can't even take on any job, this makes them the last service center I'd ever contact. I really don't get why people would wait months for this no name guy to fix your car when Tesla service appointments are available next day. This guy is not even cheaper. Am I crazy or is everyone else?I see all these reviews talk about Medlock being some roadster god but did he design it? Did he create it? Was he next to Elon Musk while it was being designed? Is he Elon's friend? Did Elon ever mention Medlock on X (formerly known as Twitter)? No! He is no special, he just acts like that to take your money. Please recognize the false prophet!

My experience with Medlock & Sons so far has been limited to a single phone call; however they were extremely honest and friendly.I called to ask if they offered a specific service for a Model Y. They do offer that service, but they told me that I would be better off saving my money and trying to perform that service myself.They then generously spent time on the phone to advise me how a person of my skill level could go about doing what I needed to do for car.I am very impressed with Medlock & Sons level of honesty and would contact them again if I have any issues with my car.

The Medlock's are AMAZING! I bought a customer car through them, sight unseen and had them do a lot of customization to the car. To name a few items they completed sound insulation throughout the whole car, updated/repaired the PEM, fans, added better brakes, powder coated the wheels, added a TON of carbon fiber, paint corrected and ceramic coated the whole car, among many others. Communication was top notch, received many pictures along the way, and was treated like family. It's one thing to have quality work done on a car, but with a roadster- you can't just choose anyone. Carl and Randy's knowledge and quality of work on the roadsters is second to none, as they were some of the first employees at Tesla and know every nut and bolt on these cars. I will be back and if you have a choice of where to send your Tesla- it's a no brainer- Medlock and Sons!Services: Electrical repair, Tires, Painting, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Body & Trim, Auto detailing, Brakes, Battery

This is the only shop in the world I trust to work on our Roadsters. I made the mistake of convenience one time and regret it regularly. This shop knows every nut and bolt of these cars. Trust no one else.

Brought a used Tesla Model 3 for a pre purchase inspection and they were able to quickly tell me it had been in an accident and that there were many things "off" with it. Although they specialize in roadsters, they're clearly knowledgeable on all models

Not visited there but heard alot about them...!! Also seen tons of article and videos...!!! Carl is such and amazing person he loves what he is doing giving full efforts care like a baby of a car...!!! He work on cars like he is working on his own vehicle not customers...!!! Purchased a OVMS system from Carl. Even though there was a mix-up on packaging, he went above and beyond making it right. To me the measure of a business is not how things are when everything goes to plan, it's what they do when it doesn't. Carl exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely do business with them again.
