5 stars will have to do for this review, as I cannot leave a 10 star review.Keenan and Nate take care of their customers like they are family. I can t even count how many times they have helped my partner and I with our vehicle, under very stressful circumstances and tight schedules. They re communicative, trustworthy and the customer service is worth every penny. Highly recommend for routine maintenance and any other servicing or repairs. Thank you, Marqueen Garage!

A friend recommended Marqueen Garage to me and I would recommend them to everyone also! I have taken my car in twice and received friendly and timely service. They have fit me in quickly and helped identify the issue and fixed it same day. They explain things well to someone who is not car savvy. They also are fairly priced. I will bring all my car needs to Marqueen Garage.

We love Marqueen. Honest, kind, mechanics who have always been very upfront about what I *actually* needed done and what could wait, what things cost and why, and their work is always top notch. I miss being within walking distance!

I called Marqueen garage yesterday morning in near tears because my upper radiator tube broke and my car was overheating and had to be fixed within an hour and a half so that I could make it to an exam on time. They were able to get the part needed and fix the car in time, all while dealing with my panicked self, after driving 5mph through Seattle to get there. I'm incredibly grateful to the staff here and my car is running beautifully with it's new part.

They were so time efficient, really kind, and didn t try to upsell me, which I really appreciated. They made the entire thing easy and quick, I got my car back the same day. They were responsive when I called and called me back in a timely manner with a quote that was reasonable. I had a loud shrill coming from my exhaust on my 1st gen Toyota Tacoma for weeks and weeks. Gave Marqueen Garage a call and they fit me in mid afternoon day of to diagnose the issue. They called and confirmed the problem within a couple hours, and didn't try to sell me on anything else. No unneeded BS you get from dealers. Just straight to the point. I wasn't able to schedule the repair with them that day, but they fit me in the following week as there was an opening in their schedule. Job only took a few hours and after inspecting their work I am extremely happy with the result. Problem solved, no more sound.I have been screwed over a few times by local mechanics in Seattle... A few my vehicle left the shop worse off then when I dropped it off. Marqueen Garage is a true blue trusted mechanic and I will be taking my truck back there 100%. Excellent customer service, excellent work, and very quick to do the job. Shoutout to Keenan for being so friendly and professional! 10/10 will be back again!Services: Engine repair, Auto maintenance

Great service and timely response. Was able to get my vehicle s cooling issues fixed the same day. Would bring in my car to get serviced by Marqueen again anytime. Highly recommend.

Partner's engine splash shield had cracked and was dangling precariously creating a lot of noise while driving. I had Marqueen's take a look at the issue. Not only did they fix the issue immediately but also DIDN'T pressure me into an upsell for a more permanent solution. They basically didn't charge me for the quick fix either. Needless to say they have my business!

My husband and I bought a truck from a person in Seattle. We knew it had mechanical issues and asked for it to be looked at by a local mechanic. MarQueen Garage looked at the 2003 Ford Ranger and quoted just under $1000 to fix all the issues. As a result my husband and I negotiated the price accordingly and then brought it back to Port Orchard, WA for the repairs to be made at our trusted local mechanic, a mechanic we know well and have used for 15+ years. Our local mechanic, Walt's Auto Care Center found so much more wrong with the truck that needed to be repaired. Walt's has never over charged us and only recommended work when it was necessary. The necessary repairs totaled $2500. Port Orchard has a cheaper cost of living than Seattle so the labor cost did not drive the price up. Walt's told us of the things that were starting to go back and so for us to feel good about our purchase we ended up getting everything fixed which totaled $3872. We are happy with our local mechanic shop but are very displeased with Marqueen Garage at not finding everything wrong with our vehicle. We don't know if they didn't do as thorough a job since it was for a vehicle sale inspection. I'm not sure. But I do caution using them if it's to look at a vehicle you are buying.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Just moved to Seattle in Sept. After reading many reviews on multiple shops, I choose Marqueen Garage. SO happy I did. Came in for an oil change and 30,000 mile check up on my 4Runner. These guys took care of my car, were honest, and helped me out alot. One of the springs was broken, and they replaced along with cleaning a bunch of rust off my rear brakes so I didn't need to buy new ones. I did need new front brakes, but I knew this already and was happy to give them the business. As a woman, I do not feel taken advantage of. Great customer service and efficient workmanship. This is my go-to car shop/oil change place. Highly recommended. Thank you so much!Services: Brakes, Oil change

Originally went here on a whim a year ago to get our Ford Flex serviced and found the staff professional, timely and excellent at communication.Since then we've used them a few times for other miscellaneous Ford issues and I've found Nate, Bronson and Keenan to be trustworthy, dependable and thoughtful.I'd always prefer to not have to get my car serviced but I'm glad to have found a place that I can trust to do quality work. Thanks!

I've been to a lot of mechanics in my time and I've even liked a few of them, but Marqueen might just be my favorite. I never dread taking my car there. I always feel confident that I'm going to be taken care of and get a fair deal. They are great! Having great people like Nate and Diana really make this place what it is. It's got a very friendly neighborhood vibe and I'm glad to be a customer.

Hands down the best experience at any body shop (or dealership) that I've ever had. The guys here are gracious, attentive, laid back, and super competent. Bronson helped me out and scheduled me last minute for a clogged AC hose that was leaking water on passenger side mats. I rolled up and he was nice, fast, and good at what he does. I cannot thank him enough! Marqueen Garage will definitely have my business here on out!

My appointment was easy to schedule and they fit me in on short notice. Service over the phone and in person was great and the work was completed right on schedule and was thorough. They were upfront about what I needed and when I would need maintenance in the future and I appreciated that they didn't do any necessary work just to make an extra buck. A place I felt I could trust and would visit again. Nice experience, thank you!

Very friendly employees! Both my partner and I regularly have our cars serviced by them, and the experience is always a breeze, with good prices! Their online scheduling process is very simple, and drop off and pickup is simple as well.

Marqueen is the best place I ve ever taken my car! When I was visiting Seattle, my car died on me and I had it towed to Marqueen Garage because of all the positive reviews. Scott and Nate diagnosed the problem quickly and walked me through my options. They are honest and trustworthy people. I would recommend this place to anyone. I only wish I lived in Seattle so I could come back when my car needs some TLC.

This is not the place to take your vehicle if it needs anything significant worked on. I was recommended by a loyal customer who always took their cars there and since I got the car from them why not take it to the place that has the history and a good online rating. Unfortunately my experience was a joke. The car was new to me but I knew it needed the transmission replaced. It was getting an engine transmission light warning. It had a few other things that needed done but the transmission was what I went in for. I told them they could do the other work assuming the transmission was the price we spoke about. Naturally, they found a few other things they recommended be replaced. Again, I told them I need the transmission replaced first and foremost. Well the first thing that would have been good to know is they use another place for transmission work. Instead of having the transmission place they used replace the whole unit they worked on the existing one and see if it could be fixed/repaired. Apparently the guy who was working on it quit his job and the owner of the transmission place finished what the other guy started but, the part of the transmission they replaced didn t fix the error. I was then told it would be another 3k to get a whole new unit in there. The owner of that shop then sent my car back to Marqueen. Marqueen did all the other work that was not as important even though I told them my budget for the transmission and now I owed a lot of money for the time that the other company spent not fixing my transmission and for what Marqueen completed. The owner has a shop manager that did his best to communicate but the story and price changed multiple times and they simply missed the fact that I didn t want the other work done unless the transmission got fixed. My car was in the shop for a month...the shop manager wanted me to talk to the owner before we settled up because so many things went unplanned but he was gone on vacation. My original quote was less then what I paid and the problem wasn t fixed. Seems like they got my money anyways with the other work they did. They ended up recommending me take it to a Transmission company because they didn t specialize in transmissions. Wouldn t that have been nice to know when I took it in? And if they would have had the company just replace the whole thing rather than rack up hours and try and fix a part of it, it wouldn t have been the mess it turned into. Nothing like paying 3k on other things getting fixed when you go in for something else. I m pretty easy going, understand people, employees and customer service but I cannot understand how this place is valued by people when I went there one time and had just about every reason to believe this place has no clue and totally blew it. First and last time customer.

Excellent experience at this neighborhood shop. 2nd gen Xterra had a blown bearing seal that was swapped out with no issues, done same-day at a reasonable price. Workmanship looks solid with no-nonsense scheduling, quotes and options.

I will never go anywhere else in Seattle. These guys are the absolute best. They were so kind and honest and didn't even charge me more when they had to do a ton of extra work. They even called me during the day to let me know what was going on with the car. This place is a gem!

Our experience at MarQueen was friendly and prompt. They explained everything and the bill came in much lower than I expected. We are looking forward to taking our car their regularly (and no longer driving 30 minutes each way to the dealer for maintenance).

Wile visiting Seattle my power window got stuck down. The dealership could not get me in for several days hung up on me when I said I was was heading out of town the next day. I called Marqueen next because of the 5 star rating. They got me in the same day and got my window up. Wonderful service!!Thanks guys

Best money I've spent on a car. I have an 88 Wrangler that has always run, but never run well until I took it here. Felt like I was driving a completely different jeep. Easy to get a hold of, flexible, even washed and replaced a missing hood latch screw that had come off without me asking. Will be back. Thanks Nate and Co.!

Went in for a brake light replacement, had me in and out in under 20 mins. On top of that the customer service and atmosphere are wonderful. I will be going back for all my automotive needs. Marqueen is a dream! Highly recommend.

We pretty much knew what was wrong with my car. I had called several places to inquire about repairs. All of them said they wouldn't know until they looked at it and gave me grief about my diagnosis. Regardless of my diagnostic qualifications, I wanted information about each of the garages process and costs, IF we were right. What I got was a lot of we don't know this or that and it depends on this or that. It was very frustrating! I called Marqueen and they were friendly and up front about everything. They got me in a few hours later and fixed it same day. By the way, we were right with our unprofessional diagnosis.

My son took his Olds Bravada to Elliott Tire and Service for an engine misfire problem. He paid for a $100 diagnosis and was quoted an additional $899 to replace a supposedly bad PCM (ECU). I sent him to Marqueen for a second opinion. They diagnosed two bad coils and fixed it for a grand total of $425. The thing runs great. So this is a dig on Elliott AND a hearty praise of Marqueen for honesty and technical excellence.

Awesome shop and warranty. As long as you are fair and reasonable with the staff they will return the favor and go above and beyond. If you're on a budget just let them know and they will try to work with you!
