I pulled a a bit of a fast on the gentlemen at Larry's Volvo today - I showed up at 8am without an appointment. I know, believe me, I was not proud of it but I desperately needed an oil change and their hours simply do not coincide with my work schedule. I cannot remember the name of the gentleman that did my oil change but I met Warren, I believe he might be the owner? He was very kind and agreed to work on my 2013 S60. The job was done in under an hour leaving my car running beautifully, (I was a little overdue), and they also performed a courtesy safety inspection. I will happily return in July to get my breaks done.If you own a Volvo, do yourself a favor and only go to Larry's Volvo - the service is completely wholesome and their prices are fair. 10/10 recommend.

Fantastic! Everything you look for in a mechanic: honest , knowledgeable and competitively priced. Brought my 2005 volvo for an oil change cabin aor filter and i have a busted quarter panel window. They fixed took care of everything in a timely manner and are hunting down a window for me because the dealers quoted them $500 bucks they think they can get it for 150$ or so.Thank you Warren for taking care of me and like i told you. You have my volvos business for as long as i have the car.

Im a first time customer of Larry s. I took my 18 S90 in with a transmission issue that another local Volvo only shop was too apprehensive to even take a look at.Warren and his crew scheduled me in without hesitation, and were able to quickly diagnose and solve the issue. I think its safe to say that these guys know their Volvos of all generations and are willing and able to help people out.I also have a strong sense that the shop really cares about their community, which for me is something that holds a lot of value.I will absolutely be a returning customer and will be singing their praises in the meantime.Thanks again Warren & crew!

Warren and his crew have got their approach to Volvo engineering together. I've been to ALL of the Volvo repair people in the Seattle Metro area. I just wish I hadn't discovered them last. Don't waste your time and money on anyone else if you're a Volvo driver. They are the best, period.

Great neighborhood shop that can do anything. Warren, Janus and the rest of the mechanics here are top notch with anything Volvo and do all my general maintenance on other cars. I have been taking my cars here since 1988, in fact they are probably the reason my 1985 Volvo is still purring and reliable. These guys are always the first ones I call.

This team is amazing! I was headed out of town for a summer road trip and last minute experienced something unusual with my gas tank. They immediately got my car on the lift and evaluated and resolved the situation!Thank you John and Warren for the expertise and excellent customer service!Service: Exhaust

I was referred to Larry's and was seriously impressed with the work they did. They were quick, thorough, and listened well. I recently purchased a late-80's 240 with the hope of restoring it but I needed Warren's help to get all the 30 year old cobwebs swept away so that I could rely on my car for a very long daily commute. Warren never once tried to upsell me anything, and after looking under the hood I agree! The parts and quality of the work done is really nicely done and was done considering the entirety of each system involved, not part swapping! *mind blown* I have no idea how this shop is able to work so fast and yet be so thorough. I had to replace an ABS brake module in my 2004 Volvo XC90. Dealer and another independent Volvo repair place quoted me over $2k. Larry's was able to send it out for rebuild at a substantial cost savings and lifetime warranty. So far so good. It was still spendy, but not outrageous, and saved me the potential of messing up my car trying to do it myself.

An amazing focus on customer satisfaction.At Warrens suggestion, we had invested in trying to identify and solve for an issue with my Volvo V70. After several unsuccessful repairs, it soon became apparent the issue was the engine block itself.Warren sourced us a new engine and covered the expenses to swap out since the initial repairs didn t solve for the original compression issue.I would recommend for anyone looking for a good Volvo center here in Seattle!

I have gotten my 1990 Volvo 740 repaired here about 8 times over the past 5 years. These guys are honest, they use 100% authentic Volvo parts, and they don t overcharge. I so appreciate them and all the work they do to keep my Volvo running smooth!

Warren & team puts the service back in service. Yup. The whole thing! Fast, efficient, and kind neighborhood mechanic. No frills, no nickel and dime you, no intimidation of mechanical terms to get me to pay for services I don t need (e.g. refilling blinker fluid)

I bought a used 2016 Volvo about four months ago and took it in for an oil change. I did not have the car inspected before I bought it and asked them to do a full review of the car and let me know what works needs to be done.Warren gave me a list of things that either needed attention or immediate attention. One month later I took the car in to get the immediate attention items fixed and told him that while I was here to also fix the other items he identified that need attention. When I came to pick up the car Warren let me know he only fixed the immediate attention items and the others did not need repair yet they were just things to monitor for the future.I can t say I remember a car repair shop ever being this honest! They ve got a customer for life out of me!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Went there for estimate, way over priced comparing to other shops. And wait till you see the dungeon they work on cars...unbelievable!! Even if they pay me to leave my car there I wouldn't. They look more like junk car business than Volvo mechanic shop.Now they will say " we don't have you in our system" Lol , sure you don't , who post their real name on google?There is no any Carl here... you are making things up to make actual people who read reviews think this is somehow fake??Speaking of your shop..what is the last time you closely take a look at it?It is a DUNGEON! 100% of people who have seen it will agree with this statement! good luck!

Warren and the crew at Larry's Volvo make the best of an old location. They really care about the customer and their needs. These are people you can trust to not only repair you vehicle, but prevent future issues with proper preventative maintenance. Warren really cares about his customers, tons of compassion. If you have a Volvo, skip the dealer and get superior service at Larry's Volvo.

Charges are always reasonable, and repairs are clearly explained well ahead of time. They take great care of my Volvo -- 11 years old, but it runs like a new car! Thank you!

The first time I visited Larry's thinking I needed an alignment, they told me I needed a new tire and sent me off to the tire shop without charging for the diagnosis. Appointments have always been easy to get and the prices are fair. Warren is very patient and able to explain the work to me in a way that I can decide what to do now and what to put off. I've just moved out of state and am already missing their service.

Warrent was amazing!! those guys knows Volvos really good. I took my car two times. the first time they fix it and they second time they diagnosed it(no charge) and they told me where to go to get fixed. reasonable price and the best service for your volvo. Thanks Larry's volvo. You guys are the best.

This place and the people here have gone so far above and beyond my expectations repeatedly. I've been in close to ten times now over the last year because of my lackluster ability to follow basic instructions and essentially neglecting maintenance entirely until my car was close to inoperable. I would have been in far less times but wasn't comfortable financially investing in fixing all the issues simultaneously.They've been incredibly patient with answering my questions every time. I'm trying to learn more about the car myself to figure out what to fix and what the risks are of various issues. Their answers and conduct so far have me convinced of their honesty and their genuine concern for their clients. I have this suspicion that they fixed a brake light I had out and refilled my washer fluid when I had the car serviced for other things without me expecting or mentioning it. Can't be sure but that's the kind of extra level service that fits their MO so I wouldn't be surprised.When i picked up the car the most recent time I brought the kids with me. They enjoyed Puffy the pufferfish so much and Warren (the owner) gave them both toys from the toy box and showed us Puffy's extra cute reaction to when he comes over and feeds him. We often end up talking about non-car topics and his good nature is so apparent. He will even give advice about different methods to help keep your car out of the shop that don't make him any money. I'm so happy I happen to be moving even closer than I already am. I currently have a good Volvo shop one block away and drive twenty minutes to come to Warren, Janusz, Tony, Ricky and company. Appreciate you guys. You won't regret bringing your volvo here.

Honest and great worksmanship at an affordable price. Got my side-view mirror replaced and was provided a fair estimate. Took them less than an hour to replace once the part was procured.

I dont write reviews much but I read them often. These guys took really good care of me so I want to tell the internet about it.I ran over something in the road yesterday in georgetown and my car was making bad sounds, grinding and squealing. I had been to Larry's a couple of times for routine stuff and was happy so I called them. They came to where I was to get the car key and arranged for the towing. They fixed it this morning since it turned out to be pretty minor damage. I fully expected to have to replace parts and end up with a large bill but they just moved the exhaust back where it belonged and charged me for labor.These guys took good care of me.

Honest, which says a lot. There is no cheap mechanic.
