I had such a positive interaction with Hernandez that I felt compelled to write a review. Had a unusual freak accident between the garage door and my car ripping a hole in the roof of the car. My previous experience was with a different auto body shop and I was without a car for almost 6 months. Hernandez was able to take my car right away and fix it within days. They were also kind And helpful and friendly. I am grateful for their service. Highly recommend them.

My dad uses his car for his work so he was very worried about missing work while his car was repaired.Hernandez Auto Body received the car on a Friday evening. By Monday evening it was ready! The repair was high quality. They communicated with my dad several times over the weekend to update him. They also quickly provided a quote for the repairs.

I am female and the first three body shops I Contacted were referred by my insurance company. Either they were rude or treated me like an idiot.I found Hernandez auto body on a Google search. Oscar saw me right away. It was a small wait to get in but oh so worth it. Great customer service. Highly recommend.

The pictures speak for themselves! 10 out of 10 recommend!! Not only did they complete my car quicker than anticipated, it was done with exceptional service. They kept me in the know throughout the process and when my initial insurance quote needed adjusting they handled everything directly with insurance instead of me having to play middle man. As a Mexican I wanted to support a Hispanic business owner to repaint my front bumper but they did a horrible job. Left over spray and wax everywhere. I m out 800 dollars out of pocket and a half a** job. Do yourself a favor and pick a different shop.

Oscar was very helpful, honest, and professional. He and his team were able to get the parts for my car in a timely manner. They accommodated my schedule to have the parts replaced. I would definitely recommend Oscar and will use their services if needed.

Fixed the ding on one of the front headlights. Superb service and fast turn around time in a comparison to others. Hernandez and his staff are very affable and understanding. 100% recommend! Will use them again for minor touch ups. :)

Great experience. Had a sizable scratch along the side of our van. Got an estimate from a nearby shop for $2500. Took it to Hernandez for an estimate and they buffed it out on the spot in about 10 minutes. Awesome.Service: Body & TrimService: Body & Trim

Oscar is great to work with. Reasonable pricing and attention to detail. They are busy and opening are months out but worth it if you want your car to look like new.

Oscar did a great job on my car. It was an insurance claim but the appraiser didn't have any issue with his estimate or the supplemental for a camera adjustment. He ordered parts needed before the appraiser even approved the estimate to get a quick turnaround on the work. You would never know there was damage there and all the electronics of the car are working fine. Very pleased with he work and communication.

This was my first time taking a car in to a body shop and I have to admit the whole thing made me anxious because you hear about people ripping you off a lot. Not only did Paulo do an amazing job of my backlight and bumper, he completed the job quickly, and his quote was very reasonable. I will recommend him to anyone who needs work done on their car. My experience with Paulo at Hernandez Auto Body Shop was topnotch. He made a great effort to accommodate my time schedule in repairing the 2 problems with my bumper. And in doing so demonstrated remarkable skill and flexibility. The price was also reasonable compared to other shops I researched. I highly recommend this shop: You'll get an excellent job done at a fair price by a reliable and friendly team.

Checked out this place for a custom job. They're better at fixing dents and insurance work. Not sure why they're rated so high, but it seems like 5 stars were paid for. A word to the wise: if you see high star reviews from people who only have 10 or less reviews for a lifetime, it's bogus. Also, when picking a body shop, make sure it's clean and organized... because so will be the work. This place was a mess.I'm sure they'll do a fine job, but take your custom work elsewhere...

Efficient and did good work. Managed the insurance company claim when the insurance company made a mistake. Took a month to get in, faster than other shops, then they had my car for a week plus to take things apart and confirm the extent of damage then fixed it up nice.

I had Oscar do some repair work on a rusted-out area of my frame. I'm very happy with the work, price, and turnaround time. We've already discussed some future projects and I'll definitely be back.

They were amazing! I was in a fender bender and he was willing to look at my car and give me an estimate within an hour of my accident. They worked seamlessly with my auto insurance to authorize the repairs. The replacement, repairs and painting are perfect! Paulo is fantastic. Incredibly helpful and friendly! I was very surprised to see how great my car looked after coming to pick it up, very quick work too and thoughtful prices! The cherry on top was that my car had been cleaned and detailed on the inside - I didn't even ask, or expect that. Working with Paulo and the crew at Hernandez was fantastic. He was very communicative and easy to work with. He texted and called to keep me up to date on what was happening with parts getting delivered. Once we took the car in for the repairs it was complete within 2 hours! Body work and a mirror replacement with the car looking like new. Great work, great guys, 10/10 recommend.Service: Body & Trim

Pablo in the front office was great to work with, super responsive, knowledgeable and the price was very fair. Work was completed right on time and was perfect. They may not have a fancy lobby with an espresso machine, but they got the job done quickly and properly which is more than I've experienced in the past with one of the "premier" shops in SoDo. Hernandez Auto Body did an outstanding job fixing up my 2011 Dodge Challenger. I had damaged grill parts, and other various parts that required replacing. They sat with me and we on the spot looked up the parts required and saw that the new parts were ridiculously expensive. My representative asked if I was ok with used or after market parts he could get them at a much lower price. I said it was fine with me as long as the parts were like new and he agreed. He managed to get all the parts I needed used or aftermarket saving me about $1500 on a $4000 dollar repair job. These guys clearly understand that a happy customer is more valuable than squeezing everyone coming in for a few extra bucks. I ll be back if I ever need any level of auto body repair!Service: Body & Trim

They saved me a lot of money. Toyota dealership said it'll cost four hundred bucks in labor to replace the light bar on the spoiler. Hernandez did it for one hundred, and it only took them 2 hours. 5 stars!

This shop is really great. I had a mishap at a carwash and needed my two left side doors on my 2020 Mazda3 replaced. They replaced the doors. And went the extra mile to do a perfect job. Tight fit, No Leaks. Looks great like nothing happened. Easy to talk to and work with. Honest, good people. I highly recommend this shop and the team.Service: Body & Trim

The experience I received was stellar and outstanding. I found his business on Google and made a phone call and explained my insurance situation. I was in a fender bender. When I brought in my car Mr. Hernandez warmly greeted me and took a good look at the damages and conferred with his colleagues. We discussed terms and a completion date knowing that the shortage of parts and stressed logistics would make delays.17 days after I brought my car in it was competed with all new parts and excellent workmanship. Like it never happened.Needless to say I am happy with my choice of body shop and the primo service I received. My car got smooshed up pretty badly in a hit and run. Paulo's quote was 2k lower than other quotes so I went with Hernandez Auto Body.Paulo was so professional! He used my preferred communication method (text) to keep me updated, and given all the work that needed to be done, my car was totally repaired and ready in less than ten days. I am beyond pleased with the work! My car looks and drives great. I hope I'll never need a body shop again, but if I do I'll be returning to Hernandez Auto Body without hesitation. My highest possible recommendation.

Very friendly and easy to deal with. Stayed within the estimate and flexible with the scheduling and getting it done in a reasonable amount of time. The work they did looks great, like brand new. I found this place through reviews online and saw lots of happy customers. I am glad I chose this place.

Can t wait for my car to get damaged so I can take it here. An upstanding employee fixed my car when I took it in and didn t charge me anything (mind you it only took him two minutes to fix it). Gave me a quick quote for the full fix if I didn t want to see any skuff/ding at all, and mentioned a person on Facebook who would fix it for half the price if I didn t mind waiting longer.
