Recently used them to replace a busted side window. While other places wanted me to wait a week just to come in for an estimate. At this business, the person I talked to was able to get me a quote over the phone in 5 minutes, and then get me booked for the repair the next day, at my home. The window repair company that came to my house was a third party contractor, and they did a fantastic job (I think the replacement window is better quality than the one that came with the car).

The shop has been closed for over a year. So why do they still list it as a place of business!???A "Fire" supposedly happened and that's a lie!They sucked and that's why it was closed down..

I don't recommend this shop, claimed they fixed my lower grille, and when I looked it was exactly the same. They also claimed they didn't work near my headlight, when they did and now the seal on my headlight is broke and my whole headlight needs to be replaced. I tried to contact Jimmy countless times and he would always tell me that he is trying to get in contact with my insurance company which apparently takes over a month. To get in contact with him I had to contact the other location in Burien. So, now I have to find a different shop to work on my car for my headlight.Now a few months later they were supposed to fix my front bumper, but they ended up gluing it instead of actually ordering a new bumper and push pins.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, even my mother in law. This company works in favor of insurance companies rather than its customers.I made brought my 2013 BMW M3 to Gerber Collision and Glass to have the rear bumper filled and repainted. Apparently it was a difficult job because it took them two tries and almost a month.The first time they tried to give me back the car with a wide variety of impurities, dots and and paint bubbles, not to mention the bumper was not mounted straight.I had to take it back to have it repainted. They said the car would be ready in a week but it took them ten days instead because they said "we want to do a good job".The paint issue was addressed, however the bumper is still not straight and it was not mounted properly.I recently took the car to another body shop determined to find out why was it so hard to mount the bumper properly. I was told that there is a damage in the bracket that holds the bumper in place and somehow it was overlooked.Gerber Collision and glass conveniently neglected the damage in order to contain the cost to the exact amount of the deductible; Gerber Collision and Glass did everything maliciously in order to not file an insurance claim.At this point it's clear that Gerber Collision and Glass looks out for the insurance companies rather than the customer. They prefer to execute budget minded repairs in order to reduce the numbers of insurance claims.I don't want anything to do with these people anymore and I do not want them anywhere near my car. Seems to me that I have wasted the money on a phony repair, and on top of that I have to bring it to another body shop to have the car fixed a third time. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Gerber in West Seattle - my less than 2 months old SUV was rear-ended before I even had made my first car payment and we had a horrible experience with FixAuto in Burien, the repair paint didn't match the body paint, and we were in a tough spot trying to resolve the issue after months of going back and forth with Fix, who basically had told us "tough luck". My husband talked to Gerber and from the onset they were nothing but helpful and accommodating. They were able to find their best paint facility with a technician who specialized in Mazda paint, and although the facility was over an hour away, they offered to make arrangements for my car to be flat-bed shipped to the location, rent a car for us on their account with little/no work from us, and had my car back to me in less than a week in perfect condition. The paint is flawless and it took less than 1/3 the time that the original body work took. Morgan who helped us was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They made a pretty horrific event so much less stressful and I would not hesitate to come back should we ever run into any other body or glass work needs. Thanks for the great customer service Gerber!

I was victim of a "hit&run" and my insurance company and I agreed repair work be done at this Gerber Collision location. Andrea was great at promptly providing a quote to my insurance provider and scheduling my truck's servicing. I will admit, however, I did become frustrated with the length of time required for the repairs to be performed. As I say this, i will then admit again there are many more issues that can be present farther then the eye can see cosmetically, I must remind myself no one should rush a maintenance action. As the repair stretched several days longer than estimated, when I did receive the vehicle back, I was blown away! They went above and beyond, above and beyond what was required of them. The physical repair was flawless, washed and vacuumed extensively, overall my vehicle looked substantially better from when I dropped it off. If ever necessary, will return in the future.

Can't say too much about this business because COVID-19 has caused delays for all auto repair companies. However both I and my insurance company tried to reach them on several occasions and were only able to leave a message on their 'national call line' and on their website contact form. They told my insurance company that they would reach out to me, but did not respond to either communication method (phone/website). My insurance company sent me to another repair shop.

Very disappointed overall. The only reason I am given them a 2 start is because I finally got my car back. They took an extremely long time to fix my car, not to mentioned that they lost my car for a full week. They forgot that they had parked my car across the street in an apartment complex. When I called they swore up and down that I must of had it towed to a different shop. During this time I was incuring extra charges by driving a rental. I always got conflicting information about the status of my car. My car received damaged while under their care ( they took care of it, that was the good thing). When I picked up my car they missed to fix one of the original problems, so I had to come back. Very dissapointed. At this time i no longer had a rental. They had my car in there possession for a month when it should have never taken more than a Week, two at a very max. The owner tried to redeem himself, stating that people went on vacation, and technicians quit on him etc and those were reasons for the delay. My insurance company was also very dissapointed in the entire process . They even discussed the idea of not doing business with shop again. I wish them the best, but they really have to get it together. I truly hope that no one else has to go through the unnecessary hassle they put me through.

I dont recommend this place. First when I made the appointment I double checked do you have my windshield in stock, it has the sensors and everything. The schedule said yes. Then the day of the appointment I get a call from the tech saying I dont have your windshield. I'm liked seriously. The tech said he would check this other place to see if they had the part and would let me know. He didnt call me back because he said the dispatcher would. So I give at least 2 stars because he did try another option but his coworker didnt follow thru. If I hadn't messaged I would have been waiting half the day thinking that I could get my windshield replaced. My problem is That was the first question I asked about parts. I have very limited availability during the week so I specifically made a weekend appointment. So now I have to wait longer for a replacement.No one has tried to contact me, but it's ok I decided to go with someone else for my glass needs. I had called back to reschedule for another Saturday appointment and I asked the representative to give me a call before Saturday to make sure they had my glass to avoid the same problem. What happens next I get a call the day of saying the glass received was broken. The communication and follow through is seriously lacking.

Truly outstanding customer service. Incredibly nice, knowledgeable and professional.Went to Gerber Collision today to have my side mirror replaced. John looked it over, offered a few different repair options- ordering a new part, a used part (which he actually shopped out himself) and even a cheaper used part of another color! He gave me the cost of all options and then offered to try to glue it before trying the other more expensive options. He was able to glue it back in place- and was honest in saying that it may last a few days or indefinitely.He also glued the inside of the door panel as a bonus.And after a more than 45 minutes repair, he refused payment!Will definitely go there for all future repairs.

Couldn't tell if they were OPEN or not. Quick estimate but the total was 1/3 of my other two quotes with items missing. I asked and the representative said they would be able to get these "items added" by insurance as hidden damage. I had limited confidence in the completeness of the bid.

Jimmy Law is a liar and cannot be trusted with information about your vehicle and insurance claims. He deliberately LIED to an insurance agency thinking they were paying my claim. He made the process alot harder than need be... he also did the same with my husband's car at the Service King he was employed with before Gerber. Be careful and get everything in writing - you might want to even record conversations...

I took my car to this place to replace a gas tank after vandalism. I am disappointed by the communication process by this business. I had to call few time to get status and when I went to pick up my car, no mechanic was around to explain to me what work they have done, or just information and hand off my vehicle. Guy name Angel, only talked to me twice on the phone, never after work was done. They indicated on the insurance invoice that they filled up the gas, but when I picked up the car the gas gage was in the almost empty zone. Also, they took things out of my glove compartment and things were all over the passenger floor. Example, my car manual and papers were dumbed on the floor. I am also missing a prescription glasses that I keep in my glove compartment for night time driving. Very disorganized on the surface, not sure how good of a work they do on vehicles.

Jimmy is one of the best body experts around. If you want your vehicle done right the first time, take it to Gerber Collision they are the experts. Auto Body work is an art not a science, most everyone sees the proof of the art in autobody work as soon as you see the vehicle with your own eyes whether it be hail damage or Collisions from wrecks they are the experts.

Very bad work. They are the worst, stay away. They messed up my car and saying that how it was. I wish I can rate them zero! Sylvia hart is the receptionist rude and useless and she is rating gerber five star... definitely scam!

If I could give them less then one start I will worst costumer service I took my car with them almost a month ago, I have been calling and went twice and they dont have a stimate or when they wil fix the car or if they are no gonna do it nothing.I Called so many times because is closer to my house but I havent hear from them. I wil tell everyone I know never use this company

Wondering why the rating was so low, and then I stopped in. Customer service is horrible, and the woman who greeted me was super rude. Happy to take my insurance claim business elsewhere.
