TLDR - Would not go back or refer anyone I know. Can't be trusted to do the small stuff then can you trust them to do anything?Came in to get advised on a new tire and/or wheel after hitting a pothole on the freeway. SA advised to replace tire (there was a small bubble) and would advise on wheel condition while balancing the new tire. Wheel ends up damaged (photos below) before they even take the tire off. Footage from my dashcam is erased while in their check-in area. SA doesn't offer any explanation but offers $200 off (cost of a wheel refinish) of a new wheel.-------The only reasons I end up here are because it's close to the light rail and I want a dealership quote for the tort claim I'm sending to WADOT. Make an early (7am) appointment for drop off. SA quickly tells me I'm not due for any service until Oct, where they'd assess the 30k mile service. I tell him about the wheel and we go and look at it. (I'm pretty sure he just wants to get me out the door)He advises to replace the tire at least - there's a small bubble. I ask about the wheel - and he says they'll take a look at how badly it's bent once they get the new tire on. I ask for videos/photos of the underbody in case anything else got damaged from the impact. He lets me know the tire isn't in stock at the service center, they'll be getting it later that afternoon. He quotes me a little high for the tire ($400, ended up being $300), but I'm okay with the markup to get a receipt and photos.I leave for my train and get a video from the tech about a 2.5 hours later (10AMish). The tech got the car on the lift and records a video of the underbody as well as the wheel with the old tire. I see chipping damage in the video (screenshot below) - meaning the damage happens before the old tire even comes off. I wait all afternoon for the call to come back in but don't hear back and decide to call them at 5pm (1hr before they close at 6). No update from the person that answers the phone but the SA ends up calling me about 20mins later and I get there right before closing. I see the damage (photo below) as well as what looks like touch up paint that's orange peeling right next to some of the damage (7oclock on the wheel). I go in to pay for the tire change and have to get the SA to come outside to look at the wheel. He checks it out for 10 seconds and offers me $200 off a new wheel. Says to drive it around for the weekend and see what I think, no explanation on how this happened.I get in, replug my dashcam in (I get it, no one likes to be recorded) for the drive home. Later I figure out all the morning footage (my drive into the dealership up until ~8AM) is deleted. First video is the car in the service check-in area. This makes me think something happened in the check-in area to damage the wheels and someone went to clear the evidence on the dash cam.

Update:I apologize for not updating earlier, but I wanted to share that Rebecca Bridgman reached out to me after I raised my concern. I explained the situation, and she was very apologetic and offered me various options to resolve the issue. They went ahead with the vehicle detailing, and I must say, I received a very clean car. I am happy that they were able to address my concern and fix it. Throughout the entire process of communication regarding the detailing and car service, Trevor Maehl was always polite and prompt in answering my questions. Thank you once again.*****************I had a really disappointing service experience at a BMW in Seattle and felt compelled to share my negative review. From the moment I walked in, I felt unwelcoming and uncomfortable, like I owed someone something just for being there.I scheduled an oil change for my BMW 330 and informed them of a few additional issues with my car, such as the heated steering wheel not working and the second key not pairing with the car. My manager, Andrew Massart, informed me that they needed to order parts for the repairs, which would take one week to complete. I left my car with them, even though they didn't have loaner cars available, hoping for a prompt resolution. After 1.5 weeks, my car was still not ready. I decided to pick it up and come back when they were ready to address all issues. When I informed the manager about my decision, I received a strange message that I had to return a loaner car, even though I was never provided with one in the first place. However, my frustration reached new heights when I received my car. The doors, mats, and seats were dirty, and there was even a boot mark on the back seat, despite the fact that I had given them a spotlessly clean car. I was shocked, as I do not allow anyone to put their boots on the seats. As a customer who had also purchased a car from them, I had expected much better service from a reputable dealer like BMW. Unfortunately, they fell short of my expectations. I will not be returning to this dealership again.

People typically complain about using the dealership for service, and I completely understand why. Not all dealerships are created equal. For example, AutoNation in Bellevue is terrible, whereas BMW of Seattle is awesome. Trust me, we live on the eastside and it s obviously much more convenient to go to BMW of Bellevue. That said, I would much rather drive the extra distance to go to Seattle and get top notch service. BMW of Seattle works on all three of our bimmers- 2018 X1, 2002 M3, and 1979 320i.

I scheduled a 0600 appointment over the phone and they were able to get me scheduled a week out.Service center promptly opened at 0600 and was greeted with a warm smile and fresh coffee.Waiting area was spacious and they offered private rooms for those working out of the office.Free coffee, cold fresh, nitro coffee, and other beverages. Fast free wifi and comfortable chairs.

Brought my vehicle here a few times in the last year and each experience has been excellent. They are very communicative, timely, and have always provided a loaner. This is the BMW service center I ll be using for years to come.

The worst service ever. Poor communication & return phone call. We spend so much money on this car and we can t even go to BMW dealership and get the service we need. Go to Lynnwood location it was mind blowing how excellent their customer service and the service department. Long drive to go to Lynnwood but all worth it. I would give this location 0 if the options were available.

Decided to take my car in for a $70 Hand Wash. They texted just after dropping it off in the morning and were supposed to text again when it was ready but they never did. I went back to get it at closing time. Due to the mess up, they didn t charge me but I still feel ripped off because the car is still dirty. Other than a very incomplete vacuum job, it doesn t look like they did anything.

Nice staff, poor communication.I had an oil change appointment earlier today. Showed up, got everything ready, seemed good to go. Got told it would be ready around 4pm, I showed up just after 1pm so kind of long but it's a Friday so I didn't worry. 4pm rolled around with no word, then 5pm. By 5:30pm I was sure the car had to be done since they closed at 6pm and all I asked for was an oil change.I went up to the front desk and the man helping me said the car was done two hours ago, and confirmed I had the right phone number. I hadn't received any update in person or through text/call. After sorting that out, he told me my car would be pulled up.Waited another 30 minutes, at that point it was nearly 6pm. I walked back up and commented if it was supposed to take this long to get my car. He looked up some notes and said they were looking for my car. I looked back and I could see it from the front door and pointed it out. The man look surprised then fumbled and found my keys behind the desk and gave them to me.The staff were nice enough, but they wasted nearly 3 hours of my time and I was late to dinner reservations because of it. I shouldn't have to feel like I'm constantly asking for confirmation but I might have to next time so I don't waste my time. YMMV.Service: Oil change

TLDR:BMW helped me out after an issue occurred due to an oil change they administered.UPDATE:I received a call from the service manager Shannon who offered a complimentary inspection of the engine after this debacle. They examined the parts relevant to the vanos error and told me the code had not retriggered since I had fixed the filter cap myself. The re-inspection was incredibly timely and professional. They also offered a large service discount going forward, which I appreciate. Of course it would have been preferable to not be dismissed in the first place by one of the employees and to have had the issue fixed by a professional (rather than by myself), however I do appreciate BMW's willingness to provide high quality service at the end of the day. Thank you Shannon!ORIGINAL:Poor experience after recent oil change. This is the second time I used BMW Seattle for my oil change; the first experience was perfectly pleasant.I took my car home following this second oil change and it seemed fine. I don't use my car very often. It was approximately the third time I used the car (~2 weeks after service) that a whole bunch of lights blinked into existence on my dashboard. I thought it was a bit strange how soon this occurred after the oil change/inspection, but I did not have time to diagnose the problem immediately and I didn't need my car for a few weeks. When I DID look into the problem, I found that an error had popped up in the vanos system which many BMW drivers online attributed to the oil filter housing and fixed by replacing that part. I looked into my own housing and lo and behold, it's broken and the filter is just floating around in the oil.I contacted BMW Seattle about this, and they say the oil change and the filter housing issue are unrelated. A piece of the filter housing is snapped off, they were the last ones to touch it (when they replaced the oil filter), and they claim there is no relation? They also claim the vanos error is unrelated, but every solution guide/story I have found online has been cleared up by this simple part replacement. All I am asking is for: a claim of responsibility, a cheap (~$30) part replacement/possible re-oil change, and either transit of the vehicle to their shop or transit of their technicians to my driveway. It seems this is not reasonable in their opinion.I am extremely disappointed by this turn of events, as I had planned to continue getting my oil changes here with their seemingly great service. The service is not so great where it really counts.Service: Oil change

Service is well done, and clean space. However, it s unclear how their queue system works. I ve come in first thing in the morning with appointments, but had few times where I had to wait in the waiting area between 20-30min even when I am one of the first ones in the service center. It would be better if reps set that expectation or improve the queue system in a way where the wait can feel more reasonable.

I was here from out of town when I had an emergency car situation. I called here an hour before they closed and the team was extremely helpful. They took care of my car and made me feel like my problem was theirs too and were willing to help me at the late hour. Allen and David are the most helpful and kind BMW workers I have ever interacted with. If I were ever in Seattle again and had car issues I would come here.

I ve only gone to this BMW service center but I m extremely disappointed in the level of customer service one would expect from a luxury car brand .I mean you re spending hundreds/thousands of dollars to own/service/repair your vehicle at least if I m going to buy a Louis Vuitton purse they serve champagne. LOL. The things worth calling out that are of concern and should be improved: 1. Baseline customer service/interaction. Being greeted, putting a fake work persona on even if you re not feeling that great. Making sure the customer feels cared for and is being attended to. 2. Make sure to call back customer if they ask you to I just had a service appointment which the notes said that my car has some repairs that I should take care of .they did not follow up about that (or even have record of it on their end). I keep calling to have someone call me back about it, but still haven t heard back it s been almost two months LOL. So much hassle just to talk to somebody.

Over the last 8 years, I have worked with BMW Seattle's Service Center. Over these years, I have had some of the best service experiences I can ask for. Before that, I was an Infiniti guy for 7 years and I just have to say, not only are the BMW cars much better, BMW Seattle's Service far out performs ANY Pacific Northwest Infiniti facility. My service advisor, Trevor, and the parts department are all highly competent, accommodating, and provide a high level of customer service. The technical service on my many cars have been top notch at the quality you can expect for the premium we pay, this is a good thing.I want the top talent in the industry working on components that are going to (help me) stop my car from crashing into the car in front of me who's driver just dropped their coffee in their lap and lost control of their vehicle. BMW Seattle's Service Center technicians have filled that need expertly and consistently, for me, over the last 8 years.Services: Auto body & trim repair, Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Auto side window replacement, Body & Trim, Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Auto tire replacement, Auto windshield replacement, Vehicle safety inspection, Wiper blade installation, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Went in for a routine service and after picking up my car (that was also ready 2 hours later than expected) I got a Drivetrain malfunction on the drive home. I've been trying to contact the service center to schedule a service appointment but my efforts have been ignored.Edit: the issue was due to a newly replaced cracked Sparkplug. This caused a lot of inconvenience to get replaced. There is no quality assurance especially when replacing a part like a sparkplug

What a mixed bag. We had one repair where they were able to drop the price significantly for us on a major repair, and then today when we took our EV in for basic service, it took a full hour to "find" the car at pickup, and the battery was drained (requiring sitting at a charger even longer) despite the car having a full charge before driving to the dealership that morning, and the car had not even gotten a basic vacuuming. This, for the BMW dealer premium cost on brake fluid and AC flush. I think we'll probably stick with Bellevue or skip dealership service entirely if this is "acceptable service" at the Seattle dealership.

Changed my appointment without telling me and wasted my time!I booked an appointment for Jan 7th. Got an email reminder saying Jan 7th. I take an hour out of my day to come in across town for this appointment, which I also planned my work time around, only to find out that my appointment is somehow Jan 10th and to just come back later. Didn't offer me anything else. I'm really upset at this service. A nice place like this should treat it's customers better when they are the ones who made the mistake.

Quite literally the most unprofessional service center I ve ever been to. I gave this place my business for 5 years, and every interaction was shockingly bad. The front desk answers the phone like they are being greatly inconvenienced and often are just plain rude for no reason, no matter how polite I ve been. I ve been given wrong information on the phone multiple times which caused mix-ups, wrong appointments, grossly misquoted prices, and appointments that didn t cover what was needed or what I had asked for. I prepaid for lifetime oil changes when I bought my car, and I was still charged for them on many occasions, with a different price and rationale each time. The service department rarely picks up the phone when trying to get answers and I ve left many messages that were never returned. After enough frustration, I finally took my business to Bellevue, instead.
