I had my 1999 Dodge truck rear differential rebuilt about a year ago. It was serviced and returned in the same day. Had zero problems and the counter person was very professional. Returned a year after for required differential fluid change. Once again I was able to schedule an appointment for a reasonable time and a reasonable quote. The turnaround again was one day. They even took the time to address all of my questions. These guys are pro's and the recommendations can't be high enough. Thanks Methewson's!

They did want they said they were going to do for a price the same or better than the competition. It works for me 5 stars. There is massive construction blocking their entrance for what seems like months. All the more reason to support their business.

Came in for an oil change and diagnostic test . Got a list of other things wrong, totaling nearly $1000. When I left the shop i made a left turn and my car made the loudest cackling cracking type noise I've ever heard. So I took it to a friend and he said it was very clear my suspension had been cut in the front.. Like a precise cut. It was intentionally done and funny enough that was on the list of things they claimed I needed repaired. Before I took my car to them that was certainly not an issue. Very untrustworthy and dishonest business.

My first experience with this auto repair shop. Took my '04 Kia Sedona to Mathewson's expecting a timing belt replacement and some work on the noisy power steering system. The mechanic, called after diagnosing and said the timing belt wasn't due and the power steering fluid was still in good condition. An honest business and I would highly recommend them! Their entire building is practically a museum filled with memorabilia and classic cars, a lot of them actual customer vehicles. Friendly front desk too!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

We had our brakes repaired there and would up with an issue. They solved it immediately and were quite chagrined that something had failed. For most businesses I completely understand that mistakes happen, although I don t know if this was a mistake on THEIR part or a defective part they put in and weren t aware was defective. The way they owned it and took IMMEDIATE steps to fix it was excellent customer service and makes me confident to use them in the future with complete trust that we will be taken care of well.

I have taken both our vehicles to Mathewson's for the past 17 years for ALL service from the time the vehicles were new. I have complete trust in their diagnosis and repair. I'll not use another service provider. They are always prompt, courteous, fully explain repair options, and stand behind their work.One time, while waiting for my vehicle from an oil change, I overheard the technician explaining options to a young lady. Provided three options, from low cost get the vehicle running to total repair. They provided costs for each and how long each option was expected to last. That allowed her to get her vehicle running based on her budget and how long she expected to keep the car.Another time, we were on a lengthy driving trip, were in Ohio, and had a check engine indicator. We called them on the phone, they explained the likely situation and made recommendations to remedy the situation.Mathewson's is the very best automotive repair service I've had in my 60 years of driving. They are the best and will do their best to keep your vehicle in top running condition!Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair, Brakes, Battery, Oil change

Mathewson's always provides excellent work and service. Always done on schedule and they contact you immediately when the vehicle is ready. In these days of not knowing who to trust for auto repair, you can trust Mathewson's for accurate diagnosis and repairs. Leave the dealer behind and go to a quality place. Highly recommended if you're tried of the dealerships. Reasonably priced. Low wait times. Quality work. Shuttle services if you'll be waiting all afternoon.Though if you need a ton fixed I suggest going to the dealership because the dealership will offer you a discount. Mathewson's prices everything individually and can add up fast.

Mathewsons did an excellent job with diagnostic work with some mechanical issues on my 1966 Ford Fairlane 500XL. They kept me abreast of the work performed, and delivered on time. Plus, at my request, they put my car up on a lift, and gave it a thorough safety inspection. I highly recommend them!

I was referred here by another shop that was not set up to service all aspects of my vintage car. I found the Mathewson s crew to be knowledgeable, resourceful and proactive. Exactly what I was looking for, in order to get my car back in roadworthy shape. I m most interested in having work done correctly, as opposed to cutting corners to save cost, and I m going to be coming here from now on! Thank You Methewson s!

These guys have been so great to me for about the past17 years! I was having nothing but trouble with other places where I took my car and once I found them, it was straight forward and clear. They have been the ONLY shop I trust! They are nice, consistent and know what they are doing! I recommend them to everyone. Even though I've moved out to Issaquah, I still bring my car to them!

Vehicle would turn over but would not start so they ran a some diagnostics and a fuel pressure test and found out that the fuel pump was shot. Had them replace the pump which is a pricey item and is somewhat of a labor intense job so not cheap but this was my sons vehicle and being he doesn't have a lot of money coming in right now and he needs the car we went ahead and had it replaced. When I first talk with the shop I was told that they probably wouldn't get to it until the following week but I guess one of the mechanic had time and was able to get rite on it and we had the car back the next day...great job guy's! Now my son can get back to work and making money.Service: Electrical repair

Mathewson's are REALLY auto mechanic experts! There is no car problem that they haven't dealt with before. They have a special expertise with older cars, which I like because I am the proud owner of a 1991 Cadillac and a 1997 Toyota. My only beef is that they tend to be expensive, but I would say that they are not more expensive that another expert. I recommend them! Thanks, David Ross

Thes folk's are The Best. Josh, Jeff and, the entire crew are all about satisfying the customer. Since 2002 it's been my Go-To shop. From my Blazer, to Cadillac, to my Chevy Cheyenne pick up, they do it all with Integrity and, professional service. We moved away from the area 3 years ago, about 50 miles south, they Still are the place I Choose to go to. I Can't say that about a single other business I've been to, and I've been to a lot. FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY!

I have to laugh. I just realized that I've been taking my cars here for twenty-five years. I own a mixture of classic and modern cars. In all my years I can't remember taking any car back because it wasn't fixed right the first time. They must be doing something right as many of the staff have been there since I started going there. They have a great staff that does great work the first time.

We have had three of our vehicles serviced at Mathewson's, two classics, and one daily driver. And as always, the job was done correctly, and with detailed explanation! The team is friendly, and the prices are fair!

Best auto maintenance facility I've ever experienced. I'm 75 years old, been to many in various places throughout the US. Never purchase a battery here I just picked up their best quality battery about 3 weeks ago & was completely dead 2 days after. I have already confirmed that it is definitely a battery problem. The original battery I purchased in 2017 was fine until last month when I called them so they said bring it down so we can test it. I brought it to them and they said there was nothing wrong with the battery and I said they re wrong but they still wanted to argue. They gave me another battery off the shelf, I knew there was nothing else wrong with the truck. Since they gave me such a hassle about exchanging it I told my friends/family that I would never purchase there again. I ve since purchased another battery from elsewhere and not had any problems. They claim that they did not manufacture it so they do not have to honor the warranty even though I purchased from Mathewsons directly

This is absolutely the best place to go to have your vehicle worked on. Prices are more than fair. There honesty is beyond 5 stars. They have gone above and beyond in many circumstances to please there customers. Very knowledgable. Very friendly and caring. The only down thing I can say about this place is they are quite busy but that just shows you there are a great company.

Was sent to them by my mechanic to work on my truck. I called them to set a day and time to bring my truck in and they say they are busy this morning and to call back later and hung up on me. When I called back they said they're not able to work on my truck. They wasted my whole day when I could have been calling other places. The spoke like they were being polite like thank you and sorry but it came across rude. I obviously won't be going to them for work on my truck and I definitely won't be calling them for any of my other 5 work trucks.

They ve been doing me and my family s cars for the past 15+ years! They are honest and straight forward when it comes to finding out what s best for your vehicle. I only trust and recommend them to work on my cars.

I am beyond upset with Mathewsons. I have gone to them for awhile now and have noticed recently they seemed to have changed from what I once thought they were. I had my car towed to them because it wouldn't start. I was charged for two diagnostics when I stopped them from doing anymore because they were going to charge me again for another diagnostic. They sent a person to my home to collect the money I owed them for the diagnostic before they would release my car to be towed back home. They gave me an invoice of what was the problem determined from their diagnostics. I had the modules and crankshaft sensor installed. It still would not start. Then fuses were checked and that was what the problem was!!!!! I called Josh and asked him if they bothered to check the fuses and he said they were supposed to but wasn't sure if they did or not but they were suppose to. Apparently they did not!!! I spent several hundred dollars to repair a car that didn't need to be repaired because of their diagnostic tests. The information they told me was wrong and it turned out to be a $2.00 FUSE!!!!! I will never trust them again!!!!!
