Pros: The location.Cons: The strong odor in the cabins/rooms. The quality of beds. The high price for a lack of quality. The terrible, barely working wifi. Ominous vibe throughout the cabin. The location is the only positive aspect of this place. The wifi isn t reliable or consistent. My AT&T service didn't work and I had to rely solely on the wifi to plan our following day hikes. I couldn t stay connected long enough to search trails nearby. I stayed in a bottom cabin and the guests above had their TV on until after midnight. Not the hotels fault, but it was incredibly loud through the walls. The beds are incredibly uncomfortable and lumpy. Between the beds and the noise, I hardly slept. I woke up in the middle of the night and the lamp above my head was on. I know I didn t leave it on because I have a hard time falling asleep with any kind of light. I cannot explain it but, it left me feeling eerie. The shower head was terrible and the water felt hard. The man at check in was incredibly kind and helpful. The view of the lake is beautiful, but that alone is not a reason that I d ever recommend this place.

Good family run resort. Classic lodge rooms, but without a fridge and WiFi was mostly unavailable. We had a beautiful 2 bed room for our family with a beautiful view of the lake from our room. They had trails to hike nearby and a good gift shop and restaurant on site. It is in a rain forest, so plan on a shower or two throughout the day.Rooms: A bit more classic, with actual keys. WiFi was spotty, so did not work well for our location, and there was no fridge to cool your drinks for the night or place your food, but they did have an ice machine at the market you could use and could buy a styrofoam cooler.Walkability: Lots of trails in the area.

Rustic accommodation. Attentive staff. Beautiful Scenery. And an older man with a white beard ghost/spirit who woke us up.

What a beautiful property and place to stay. We were coming through the area while dispersed camping and this place caught our eye as we drove by. Walked in and chatted with the workers who were nice and helped set us up with a lake side room. We ate at the restaurant across the street and walked to see the tallest spruce tree. The rooms could use an update but for the price, I felt it matched. Would stay again!

Stayed in village inn room with lake view. Big windows and balcony with direct view of lake-beautiful. Road in front of room is noisy but luckily bedroom is facing rear and has door to shut out noise. Resort general store has provisions, please stock more vegan friendly items (ready meals, snacks). Microwave inside store for general use as well as free coffee/tea/hot water/instant apple cider during opening hours (9a-9p in summer, 9a-8p otherwise). Only wished there was a microwave in room or even outside general store since we get up early before 9am. Please also update info book in room stating able to drive across bridge (broken down for years) at eastern side of road.

My husband and I are our two kids stayed in cabin 6 for 4 nights. The location is very nice, with many gorgeous trails either in walking distance or within a short drive. The cabin left a bit to be desired. It could definitely be cleaner, the carpet is kinda grungy, especially under the couch, and the couch could use a good steam cleaning, if not replacing. The cabin floor structure had some dips in it, and leaned toward the back. The cabin also shook whenever anyone walked across the floor. Overall it was an all right stay. For the price it feels like it should be nicer. In the future we will definitely stay up the road at the lodge since it's cheaper and nicer.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Rain Forest Resort Village, and while the location was nothing short of spectacular, a few significant drawbacks tarnished the overall experience.First and foremost, let's talk about the positives. The resort's setting is absolutely breathtaking. Nestled amidst the enchanting Quinault Rainforest and within close proximity to the World's Largest Sitka Spruce, it's a nature lover's paradise. The Quinault Rainforest loop drive is right at your doorstep, offering easy access to some of the most awe-inspiring natural beauty you can find in the Pacific Northwest. If your idea of a perfect vacation involves immersing yourself in lush greenery, towering trees, and serene tranquility, this resort's location is truly hard to beat. However, the drawbacks quickly became apparent upon settling into our room. The accommodations, to put it bluntly, were disappointingly small. While I understand that this might be part of the rustic charm for some, it felt more cramped and uncomfortable than cozy. The lack of space made it challenging to relax and unwind, especially after a day of exploring the magnificent rainforest.Another significant downside was the Wi-Fi situation. In this digital age, it's almost an expectation to have reliable internet access, even in remote locations. Unfortunately, at Rain Forest Resort Village, the Wi-Fi was not only slow but also required a walk to the main office to connect. This inconvenience was particularly frustrating for those who rely on internet access for communication, work, or simply to stay connected with the world outside the rainforest. The staff, while friendly, couldn't quite make up for these shortcomings. Their warm hospitality was appreciated, but it didn't fully compensate for the inconvenience of the room size and the Wi-Fi hassle.

This place is amazing! We've been on a road trip hitting the sights and decided to stop for the night. We couldn't get a room or a place to eat further up so we decided to keep going and thankfully we did! First the restraunt is fantastic. Definitely stop by if your in the area. Their menu is more reasonable and also has a better selection than the other lodges in the area. After eating there, I doubt you can get tastier food anywhere. It was a little past 7 when we arrived and both the restraunt and lobby close at 8. The staff is fantastic. We didn't know if we could even get a room being that close to close and the area is actually pretty busy for the off season. We ran over while waiting on our food and Elliot got us checked into a wonderful cabin in no time. The general store is great too! They have about most things you'd need for a stay plus snacks and lots of drink choices. They have a sweet little dog just was just too cute. The rooms are awesome! Nothing overly fancy or anything just a really well put together room. Most all the amenities you need and a fireplace in the cabin! The jet tub is great too!Really I can't say enough good things about this place. I'm so glad that we stopped here and not further up the road as THIS was the place we needed to stay! I can't wait to come back!Nearby activities: Everything is within walking distance. They also have a small bus that takes you to the big spruce.Walkability: Everything is within walking distance.

Really awesome and beautiful place to stay. Very pretty walking paths, nearby food was very good, staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful views and I really loved the ambient noise from the forest at night. Bring bug spray, you are in a forest.

The hotel sits right across from the beautiful Quinault Lake. It is quite and comfortable however the rooms can use a bit of updating. The restaurant was closed for a private event. We had to drive into Amanda Park because the only other option you needed reservations. Within a short walking distance to the world's largest sitka spruce and a short drive to the rainforest this hotel is a great value.

They are beautiful Rainy season Or Dry season. Trees are so big and huge. Great trails. If you had a plan for wedding. Best place for that. Receptionist is so kind, gentle and his little puppy is super duper cute. Regular room price is around $145.00-155.00. Cabin is around $220.00TV has a only 4-5 channels. Must bring your IPod or Phone about entertainment for yourself at night.

Such a wonderful place with sunset view. the owner is so nice and let us pet his cute little dog. The blackened salmon at the restaurant was delish. Their bathtubs were not draining water during shower otherwise a peaceful stay. Drive slow to this property as wild animals sometimes cross roads. We saw a baby fox or a coyote crossing.Checkout the sauces at the store. Some unique flavors! Unfortunately, i couldn't buy em as I left early morning and the store was closed.

Amazing place, with I think the best view of lake Quinalt. Comfortable and clean rooms with lake view (if you choose that option)! The host was incredibly nice and his little dog was super cute and calm. They have free coffee/tea in the store and the Salmon house restaurant across (4-9pm) serves some of the best salmon we have ever tried!!

The staff was so nice and went out of their way to make sure I felt comfortable at home. The room had everything I needed and the general store was well stocked with a variety of outdoors supplies and food. The laundromat was clean and quick. I even got postcards and sent them from the post office right next door. The Salmon House across the street is a delicious stop for dinner.

Nice old place across the road from the lake.We had a two bedroom that was clean and comfortable. Very convenient location to use as a home base for a day or two.If you expect a luxury accommodations this would be 3 stars. If you are a Olympic Peninsula realist, it's 5 stars

Though "resort" is a bit much, we had a nice RV place with a good view of the lake(water and electric only). The convenience store (doubles as check in) has a surprisingly broad selection and a very friendly ownerNoteworthy details: Wonderful hiking trails in the rain forest across the street

A lovely little getaway nestled in the Olympic national forest. The owner and manager is very interesting and can do some pretty awesome stuff with 3d printing. For example: if you take a picture of the waterfalls or maybe a picture of your party he can turn it into a shadow casting wall light.Pretty awesome. He even gave me a 3D printed dragon! lifted my spirits and kept me from dragonass.. . Noteworthy details: Extremely intelligent and conversational crew

Our room had two rooms with two beds, it's an older resort, but the rooms were comfortable enough for us, we were barely in the rooms anyway as there's plenty to do around the area. This was our third stop during our road trip around Washington state. The views from bed were perfectly picturesque and the area is peaceful. Close to so many lovely hiking trails, we stayed 2 nights, and wish we could've stayed longer. The guy at check in and at the little store was friendly albeit a bit young and clueless, but he tried and made the effort to help us with our needs. We would stay here again next time we're in the area.

Very cute. Great views and the staff are friendly. I loved the little dog helping at check in. The restaurant across the street is really good. The room has a strong smell of cleaner (left the door open for a bit) but is really clean.

My wife and I stayed and found that this place was great! Family owned and operated. Nice restaurant on site. Great food, good prices. Food was fresh, like caught fish from the lake 1 hour before. Food was much better than the "World renown lodge and restaurant", up the street (3x times the cost too!). The cabin we stayed was nice and had a wood fire place and a good bed with a deck all to ourselves. Not to fancy but for the cost it was good. We took a boat out on the lake. We could look down into the water and see 30 or 40+ feet into the deep clear water of the lake. Wow is all I can say. That Lake is, well breath taking on a nice day. We are going back for our next anniversary again.
