I d really like to thank Mark, Tana, and the whole River City Repair team for their awesome work! These folks are honest, upfront about costs, and committed to doing good quality work. I recently bought a 2012 Dodge Caravan that came with a load of issues (needed new spark plugs, boots, fuel pump, fuses, etc.) and had been given the run-around by several other mechanics in the area. My neighbor recommended I try River City Repair and I m SO glad I did! They were much more affordable than other places, very friendly, and provided a cost estimate upfront. They genuinely care about helping people (not just making $$ off you like other places). They were very thorough in diagnosing the issues and made sure everything worked properly before giving back my van. They also offer a loaner vehicle if needed! I will be bringing my family s vehicles here from now on customer for life!

First time going here went off a friend reference and let me tell you Mark Ryan and the crew at this place are top notch and do great work. Our transmission blew up and they got us in right away. Got my car back tonight and the work is second to none my car was also clean and you couldn t even tell a tech was in it. Would give more stars of possible will be back.

If your looking for an honest mechanic shop this place is it. Ive been coming here for years and have received nothing but above and beyond service. Ive referred dozens of people to River City Repair and they all feel the same way. My company uses them, friends family and coworkers. When I called, I talked to Mark, and from our first phone call to when I went into his place of business. I give him a 12 out of 10 I have to say I haven t seen this level of customer service in years!!! It seems tires and repairs, he does it all. He is also honest, I went in thinking I needed new brakes and he told me I was still good and filled up my brake fluid that was low and that is why my light came on.

Absolutely fantastic mechanic! Being both a female and a gay person, these are usually two poorly treated people groups in auto shop settings and Mark and Tanna treated us so well. They also are so upfront and honest about costs, giving great prices and not adding on unnecessary extras. We had to have a lot of work done and it was significantly better priced that I believe anywhere else would have been! Thanks for a great experience! We shall be returning!

I can not say enough good things about this company! Mark and his staff were incredibly friendly from start to finish. While my car was in the shop, they put me in a loaner until my car was ready! Affordable as well! I highly recommend them to everyone!

I took my work truck into this place and the mechanic Mark knows his stuff. He will charge reasonably and get the job done well. You can count on them to give you a fair price and good quality work!

I've taken my car there a couple times now and had great experiences each time. They're very trustworthy, timely, and don't overcharge. They're a great shop and a good alternative if you're looking to save money by avoiding the dealership.

Wow do these guys not only work fast, but the value of their time with respect to their quality and pace of work is unmatched. I've been to other mechanics from Kent to Puyallup and these guys win.My favorite part is the confidence I can maintain with them. If anything goes wrong, they will keep working at it until it's right.If you're stuck somewhere, even as far as Seattle, Mark would be willing to head over with a trailer to bring your car in for service. They are very transparent about their costs and the brand of parts they use.They currently service two cars and a truck for me, and have done everything from electrical/reprogramming, timing belts, power steering, engine sealing, ball joints, and alignments.

One of the few places I was able to find in Puyallup that does water damage repair, was completed in one day. The price was reasonable. I appreciate everyone who worked on my car this day, and the gal in the front Stephanie was very kind.

Stopped by on a Saturday and talked to Mark about an issue with my truck. We talked through the problem and made an appointment for Wednesday. My truck was repaired on time for the estimated price. Wow, River City Repair is awesome! Tana and Mark are amazing people. They took good care of my 21 year old son's car after it broke down. They are knowledgeable, accommodating, reasonably priced, fast, and genuinely care. I'm over 900 mi away from my son, I knew it was most likely the battery. My son had tried to make an appointment with the dealership. They told him they're booked until February, two months out. He called another mechanic shop in the area and they couldn't get him in for a week. I was so frustrated because I knew it was probably an easy fix and I didn't understand why you'd have to wait that long. I got on the phone and ended up calling a random car shop near where his car broke down and found River City Repair. I'm so grateful to have found this repair shop! I can now be at ease knowing my son has a place to take his car if it has issues. I highly recommend River City Repair for all your car maintenance and repair!Service: Battery

Mark and Tana are fantastic. I called around looking for services and not only were they the only mechanics that had good pricing in the area, but they are also fast and do good work. The inspection they did was also in line with the problems I found on my car, so they did not over diagnose issues. They did my Lower control arms, Axle replacement, hub assemblies, Tie rods and an alignment. All of these were successfully done first try without needing to be brought back in. As long as I can get my car here, it will be going here.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment

My new go to shop for my cars! When I first called on Friday, there was no answer but I could leave a message or text. A few minutes later, Tana called and I told her what was going on and she got me scheduled Monday at 11am. Mark was awesome. He pulled my car in and checked it out. He said it wasn't my alternator, which I thought it was, and just a dead battery. Showed me how much it would be and got it done. All within 30 minutes. Good pricing and great service from Tana and Mark. Definitely will be back and tell people about this shop.

Mark and Ryan are absolutely amazing!!! When I bought my Mercedes 4 years ago, I didn't have a mechanic and was at the mercy of dealership prices. I'm so happy that I found these guys when I did. They've saved me literally 1000s of dollars over the years. I had been taking my car to Valvoline for oil changes because it's 5 minutes from my house. They were charging me 200$... Mark only charged me $60. Totally worth the 30 minute drive. They're super knowledgeable and l don't have to go to an expensive specialty dealership just because of the type of car I have. If you're trying to find an honest and affordable mechanic, these are the guys you need to call... I cannot recommend them enough.

I brought my Toyota pick-up to two separate dealers and got the run around from both. I took it to Mark and they got it fixed quickly. After this experience, when my grandmother started having troubles with her mini van and got a $3500 quote from the dealer to make the repairs, I took it to River City Repair. They got it dress-right-dress for $400 and fixed only what actually needed to be fixed. The old rule of not being able to find an honest mechanic does /not/ apply here. If you are in need of good and affordable work, nowhere can beat River City Repair. You MUST give Mark and Tana the opportunity to work on your vehicle. This family run business will treat you right. Honest and professional, they will always do you right and not "fix" things that don't need fixed. I brought my Pilot to them on a Saturday at about noon. They squeezed me in and finished by 5. Complete inspection, front and rear brakes, oil change, and a new tire. I was blown away by them. Great people. I can't compliment them enough. Thank y'all. I will recommend you to everyone. FANTASTIC! Fannnnn-TASTIC!!! Love them!!! 5 STAR! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this place.I have used River City Repair for the past few years as a recommendation when I first started having issues with my vehicle. I am always so impressed with their work, diligence, and customer service. They have definitely made my car maintenance and repair process so easy and stress free.Just yesterday, they rescued me when my vehicle was unable to drive. I called them about my problems and within the hour they had a tow truck with a loaner vehicle for me to use while they took my vehicle away to get looked at and 24 hours later I got my vehicle back! They did so much work in such a little time. They are amazing people and great to work with. This is a great shop. Work is always well explained, efficient and they never try to upsell you. I had them check my brakes when Firestone told me they needed to be replaced. (They had just put new brakes on two years ago.) I was leery because my last set lasted 90K miles. I had used River City for other automotive repairs last year and knew they were very fair. Turns out my brakes were like new. I appreciate that the owner, Mark took the time to show me the brakes and roters, verifying what I had suspected--- that the brakes had little wear and were safe to drive. If you think you're being scammed, have them check your vehicle because I've never seen a shop more willing to explain repairs and ensure the customer understands what's needed. Highly recommend for non-mechanical folks.Service: General repairs & maintenance

If you are in need of a trustworthy mechanic that is fairly priced, you can stop the search, this is your guy. I was buying a car that I wanted to get inspected first so I called nearby shops to see if anyone could fit me in. River City fit my inspection into his already busy schedule and told me that he could do as much as he had time for, and it may not be a full inspection. When I got there he ended up doing a full inspection with a test drive and everything. Gave the car two thumbs up and a couple weeks later I have had no surprise issues. While I was there, someone who was moving out of the state stopped by on his last day to say farewell to his mechanic, and he told me, "If you need a trustworthy mechanic for life, this is your guy." I won't be going to any other repair shop from now on, I couldn't recommend more.

Mark is AMAZING! My front seat was locked in down position and I was leaving for a road trip later that afternoon. I asked him to give me a quote to fix it. My car died and I called River city repair and spoke to Mark who ensured to me that he would be able to figure out what's going on that night. The tow truck brought the car to the shop at 5pm and at 530pm Mark had figured out the problem and called to inform me of what happened. By 7pm that night I was driving home in my car working like new. Had a clutch and short throw shifter installed. Marc and Tana were incredibly understanding of my time crunch and finished the job start to finish on a Saturday no less. Car works better than ever.
