Just moved to the area and definitely found my new mechanic. The work was done quickly, efficiently, and the price was great! Josie at the front counter is awesome! And I can't say enough about William and his crew. William was in constant communication with me the whole time. I will be taking my vehicles to this place from now on. Great job Meridian family auto repair!

For several years I either neglected maintenance on my car or tried to figure stuff out myself from YouTube videos because I didn t know which mechanic I could trust. I was afraid of mechanics trying to sell me on stuff that I didn t really need, or not doing a good job. Recently, my wheel bearings needed to be replaced and I decided to give Meridian Family Auto a chance and I couldn t have been happier with the service I got. They quoted me for a diagnostic, then ended up charging me less than the quoted price saying that the diagnostic didn t take as long as they had planned for. They then gave me a price for the repair and once again ended up charging me less. Obviously this isn t going to happen every time, but it showed me that they do honest business. I have since used them for a repair in my work vehicle and I will be using them for all my automotive needs in the future. Everyone at this business that I have interacted with is very friendly as well. If I could give them 6 stars, I would.

For the past three years, I have visited Meridan Family Auto Repair. I have had a very positive experience; they are very knowledgeable and, above all, honest. I appreciate William and his crew, and I highly recommend Meridian Family Auto Repair.

Brought my Jeep to be fixed at the end of October, waited an extra week and a half with no communication on their end (although i was continually told someone would text or call me back and nobody did) i don't know if they're too busy or what but i went in with engine issues just for my vehicles check engine light to turn back on the very next day after i picked it up. I would give the benefit of the doubt but they had kept my Jeep longer to fix the door seals and they're still leaking, after the rainy weekend the floors of my Jeep are soaking wet and the seal on the door is falling off. Was incredibly hopeful that my issues would be solved honestly here. Will update if they actually fix it.

Recommend these guys!! Brought my feista ST twice there now for a blown up top motor mount and broken spark plug in my header. Got fixed super quick highly recommended if you have time to wait!!!

There a great auto repair business with good people, great service, and very good auto techs who do great work. They have taken care of all my family's auto repair needs with Lexus, Mercedes, VW, Ford. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.

Highly recommend this auto shop!This auto shop went to bat for me with my warranty company. Through their blood, sweat and tears they were able to get me approved a new transmission for my Chevy Silverado truck. Through the process of ordering, receiving and replacement of the transmission the staff communication is above and beyond my expectations. Kept me in the loop daily. This shop is the definition of loyalty, integrity and hard working people! I am beyond grateful for each and every employee who works here! They all deserve recognition for being amazing! Thank you very much!

I rarely write reviews, but I have worked with Meridian Family Auto for several years now, and they continue to defy expectations.For starters, these people have ridiculous amounts of integrity. I am about as naive as a car owner you can find; honestly, I could not confidently point out the engine under the hood of my vehicle. If they wanted to, they could sell me on whatever parts they wanted and I would agree. Despite this, they have always worked with me to determine the cheapest and most streamlined way I can fix my vehicle problems. For example, I used to own a Prius, and that car had its catalytic converter tampered with three separate times. The first time it was stolen, I bought a new one. The new one was also stolen, so I bought a shield. Meridian warned me that the shield might not make a huge impact, and within six months, the shield had been sawed off. When I brought it in again, they worked on my car for two weeks, and welded bars to the bottom of my car, going above and beyond to ensure that this wouldn t happen again. After three catalytic converter thefts within the span of 1.5 years, I no longer had to worry about leaving my car for extended periods of time. I cannot adequately express the peace of mind this brought me.Other than this, they are just the nicest people you will ever meet. Customer service is clearly a priority for them, and it shines through with every appointment I ve had. I recommend all my friends to them for their skill, and all of my friends report back with unanimous satisfaction.Some of the negative reviews for them report a lack of timeliness, and I suppose that there have been occasions where the repair has taken longer than I have hoped. However, I would contest this by saying that they are a growing business that has exponentially become more popular over the last couple years. They are balancing the issue that all quality family businesses encounter when they see growth; wanting to continue to provide the quality service that they have always delivered while managing an increased demand. Even with slightly longer wait times, I would argue that your vehicle is a place to value quality of work over speed of repair. We are so happy we chose this business to repair our car. We recently took our 2013 Ford Taurus SHO in because it was losing power on acceleration, amongst many other issues. Turns out it was a worn-out timing chain. They were able to replace the timing chain in a very reasonable timeframe, considering this was a labor-intensive job, and I appreciate the text message updates. Everyone we worked with was great and very friendly, even when we had to bring it in a few days later after the check-engine light came back on. Fortunately, it was just a loose sensor, but they got the car back in the very next day. Excellent customer service ever!!My car ac stopped working in the middle of summer in 90+ degree tempts. I called several repair shops, and none of them would even listen to my plead. I called Meridian Family Auto Repair and they were so nice to me and took in my car, Within 20 minutes, they had diagnosed the issue and fixed it in less than 2 hours. Now my ac works as new. Joleen and William made my day. They are very friendly, professional and very compassionate. I will take all my vehicles here. Car Pros Kia of Tacoma told me I had nothing wrong with my car and I didn't need to do a tune up or transmission service until 100k miles. I was at about 63k miles then. Now I am at about 64k miles. My car was running rough at startup, using oil, gas mileage was worsening. I also had a delayed shifting issue with the transmission. I brought my 2018 Sorento to William & Andrew at Meridian Family Auto and they did all I asked and more. Come to find out, my transmission fluid was nasty and black and had A LOT of METAL in it. Had I listened to Kia then I would've been buying at least a new transmission by the time I hit 100k miles. William also brought to my attention that there was a service notice issued in 2019 for my vehicle that fixes the delayed shifting. It's an ECU update (software) that only Kia can do. It has not been done. I bought my car in 2021. Although Kia is not legally obligated to have done this before I purchased my vehicle, I think morally they should have. I would know nothing about this issue if William hadn't told me. GREAT SERVICE! Not only is my vehicle running better than it was, but I got a free education, compliments of William! In and out with no hassles... I took my truck down to Steve and had him check things out...After thoroughly checking the system he explained to me what needed to be done... He replaced the transfer case motor and the A/C system pressure sensor... Steve and Tyler re-tested the system, did a road test and all went well... As I said... "in and out with no hassles"... Thank You Guys...:-)

I bought this 2005 Kia Sedona to drive cross-country and it needed a lot of maintance to be road ready - Timing Belt, Steering, tune up, new AC. Will and the team combed over every inch of the van to make sure I d be safe. I wanted to share this pic, I made it! I called ask for price quotes, few oil changes on my car. power steering, transmission oil, break, engine clean. Jolie ask for a car plate number I ask why, she wants to give me accurate price quotes. well after two hours later i drove by there and talk to in person. she said she was busy, then she said she will call me. its been 5-6 hours already and i have not heard one word from her. Parking lot was real bad to pull in and pull out. Staffs were not very friendly.of course i went to different auto shop. i own six cars. they are not going to earn my business and here is bad review for you. I am also posting at Yelp. of course bad review. Later owner responded on my review. Excuses ! excuses ! They can not even give me a simple quote on oil changes. I wonder how quality is their work ? High school part time student is even capable to figure that out!You as a owner! You want to order parts from NAPA. They took all the info down and if they never contact you! Because they were busy. How do you feel as an owner. You are the professional!Don t give me excuses and trying to get better.

My Kia Optima Hybrid completely stopped running on Saturday. I had it towed to the shop on Monday late afternoon. Tuesday morning I received a call explaining the diagnosis and price. I was so impressed they had already diagnosed my car so fast! I was told one of the parts that they ordered wouldn't be in until Thursday morning and they were hoping to have my car finished by Thursday afternoon but possibly Friday. Wednesday at 12pm I get a call from them saying my car is ready for pick up. I was obviously very pleasantly surprised. Steven picked me up and the price they quoted me over the phone on Tuesday was the price I paid, no BS hidden extra work charges or anything. All the guys I had the pleasure of dealing with were awesome to say the least. Great place and great people. HIGHLY recommend!

I would just like to start by saying that this shop is so awesome and they really, honestly care about your safety! I had just bought a used car and had taken it to a different shop which was a total nightmare and I had to get all my money back from the other shop and decided to take it to Meridian Family Auto because William at the front desk was so understanding and cool. They went above and beyond to make sure that my car was all the way fixed and even fixed things I didn t know were wrong just because they were so concerned with my safety! I would 100% recommend this shop to anyone that will listen! So professional, they use good parts and they don t over charge! We have had quite the experience with my son's car over the past several months. There have been times I have been exasperated and times I have been happy and thankful. I am sure there are times they have felt the same as me; however, I am giving 5 stars as we worked through this whole mess fairly and that to me is very impressive. As a senior, I've had little experience with car repairs. Fortunate for me, I took my 1999 Chevy Tracker to Meridian Family Auto Repair and spoke with Joshua who was very pleasant. I noticed that the garage was as clean and orderly as the photos on their website. In a few days, my car was ready, and it had been given renewed life!I very much appreciate the care, honesty, good workmanship and goodvalue that I received. Highest recommendations from this very happycustomer!

What a joke. I made an appointment two weeks in advance. I dropped my car off at 8am this morning and did not get any updates the entire day. I called at 4pm for an update and they told me that they had cars ahead of me (what?) and mine would be seen next. At 5:30pm I get a text saying they were not able to look at my car due to an emergency , that no one had thought to notify me of the entire day. I spent an outrageous of money to commute there and back for nothing. Go somewhere else.

Wow! William and Luke went over and beyond for me today. My water pump broke while I was stuck in traffic on Meridian with a car full of groceries and an hour away from home. It was close to closing time and they still got me in and fixed my car, they were very courteous and professional. They both worked past closing time to get my my car fixed. I am so very grateful and impressed with these outstanding gentlemen! Thank you so much, I will be back for future repairs!

These guys squeezed me in when I needed it most and got my truck fixed quick so I wasn't without. They let me pay over the phone and it was completely hassle free. They even recommended someone to tow my vehicle there at a very reasonable rate. I didn't step foot inside. Due to my circumstances that wasn't feasible with work. Definitely go here if you need anything. I will be going back for my vehicle needs.

It's great to finally find an honest, family-owned business in my neighborhood that puts the customer first, doesn't try to upsell or pad the bill, communicates every step of the way and does what they say they will do - which is the definition of integrity. After my longtime mechanic retired, I wasn't sure where to take my Honda. After reading the amazing reviews for Meridian Family Auto Repair my choice seemed clear. I called other mechanics closer to where I live but Josh's friendly advice and fair pricing has made me a believer! My first visit was for a 60k service and he quoted me $150. Since I was a first time customer, my inspection was free! When I went to pick up my car, it turned out I owed him less than half of what he quoted me.Great customer service, friendly and honest staff, and SATURDAY HOURS! We will be back!

I had a diagnostic performed as I needed it done to verify what issues my Saturn Ion was possibly suffering from due to the check engine light & Service engine light alerting me to the problem. They quoted me a straight fee, unlike other autos service shops or dealerships which typically charge by the hour. They stated they would need the vehicle for 3 hours to detect & read the codes the engine was giving.Note: Don't trust any auto parts stores scan readers as most don't know how to read the codes. Most people simply end up wasting money buying unnecessary parts the vehicle may not need. Replacing the fuel cap with a factory cap, may help some but not most. & most still typically end up with the check engine or service engine light on.Meridian Family Auto Repair found three issues. After getting it fixed both light issues stopped appearing.BTW, when I made an appointment for my Saturn. I had no way of getting home (however I do live within 5 miles), I simply let them know & they offered to drive me home & then pick me up when my vehicle was finished without adding any additional fee!So if you have any issue about getting back home or to the shop to get your vehicle, simply ask if they can do the same for you. They will if you live close by. This made it very easy & hassle free instead of relying on making arrangements with either friends or family.If you need your vehicle fixed asap you can count on them getting it done quickly without issues.I highly recommend you request Steven the auto technician to work on your vehicle, because he treats it as if were his own car suffering from problems.For example, I experienced an issue of my car not wanting to start...Guess what the cause was? Steven discovered my floor mat would not allow my clutch to fully engage to start it! At first he assumed it was a a starter going bad, but his tests were not conclusive, so he looked for other possible causes.The guy is detailed oriented & carefully reviews the problem. It was a simple fix that did not cost me anything.Most places would take advantage of you, especially women, but not Steven aka Meridian Family Auto Repair as they treat you like family. Sounds cornball, until you experience itNote: Newer cars require manual transmissions to be fully engaged or they won't start!I highly recommend you give the opportunity. So what are you waiting for? Call them. Hopefully my review helps you.
