The story is too long and involved , but reading other reviews b, pretty much hit on every point. Poor customer service. Romeo is a complete waste of time and information. Back office telephone staff is a slight step above. But quickly took truck in. Used this place 3 or 4 times when it was South Hill, didn t realize it was sold and name changed until I stopped it off, but hey what could go wrong, they were super great before, why should this be different? Well it was HORRIBLY different. Took it in the end of January. Was told in a phone call a few days later that they had the exact part in I needed . A bumper guard. Well on Valentine s Day two weeks later they text and say it s done . I go to pick up, job was only half completed. They wanted me to pay in full and then when part comes in they would call and schedule me in again. I thought that was an extreme liability for me. What if by chance another collision happened? So I left it. Needless to say after numerous calls with no ETA, because corporate has to approve and pay for part, no such shipment of said part yet. Finally after two months I picked it up. Part is not the original brand as originally told .sub par at best. Just go elsewhere. No one was overly friendly nor informed nor interested . I could go but I ve wasted enough of my own time just writing this. I will say that as soon as I picked it up and the texts started hitting my phone saying what a joy it was to service me and if there was any part of my service I wasn t please call me blah blah blah. I finally after the third that day blocked there number. Done. Run.

Recently picked up our vehicle after an unfortunate collision on the rear driver side, the damage also affected the wheel alignment as well. After the job was completed, we were amazed how the completed work from the body, axles, and driving away was above excellent.I ll just have to add a huge WOW on top of the exemplary timing getting our vehicle back.Outstanding work before, during and after!

This shop was in-network with the insurance company responsible for damaging my vehicle. I was a bit skeptical based on the reviews but I m very happy with the repair! Mike (production manager) was in good communication regarding ordering parts and making sure insurance would cover it. I received status updates through text messages and I never felt in the dark about what was going on.Once my vehicle was ready for pickup, the repairs and overall exterior looked amazing!! Additionally, all my belongings were still in there, dashboard wiped and cleaned and floor mats vacuumed. Thank you Gerber!

I want to thank Mr. Kirkland and his staff for taking the best care of my car, which can be a challenge to get parts for. Looks as good as new and I was treated so well. I would definitely return for any future body repair needs. Thank you, Gerber Collision of Puyallup!

Do not go here. I strongly advise against choosing Gerber Collision for your anything you need done to your car. My experience was incredibly disappointing and frustrating. As a woman, I felt passed over and treated differently, I received false updates about my car's status to make it seem like my car was being worked on and it was in the shop for a month and multiple dates were communicated to me and updates would take a long time to get. Only after my husband intervened and started calling instead did we start getting accurate information and updates, even though it was the same person providing the update. The repair, initially promised to be fast, dragged on for an entire month. So for both of those reasons I had already decided I would never go back. Suddenly, 6 months after my car had been picked up, I received a random $600 bill they said I owed even though I have the invoice saying it was fully paid. They either have really shady and unethical practices and I doubt whether I even actually owe it or they are incompetent at managing their own finances and books as a company. Gerber Collision's communication, repair timelines, and billing practices are severely lacking and they seem incredibly shady. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for reliable service, there are lots of great places in Puyallup or else you might suddenly get a call saying you owe them over half a grand more.

If I could give negative stars I would. Brand new car, 70 miles on it. came in for a bumper repair from a road hazard. Bumper looked great after repairs, but the grill got 2 narly scratches (from dropping it I dunno, they didn't have an answer for me other then o I dunno. We'll order you a new one. Which is on NATIONAL BACKORDER) when I came to get the "finished" car I did a walk over (mind you BRAND NEW off the dealership) and they had "washed" it and dried it. There were swirl scratches ALL OVER THE CAR. Almost every panel. I brought it up to the walk through guy and he took his HOODY sleeve and aggressively tried to wipe the scratches with it. My wife told him to stop, that his sleeve was not made of microfiber cloth. He then said we should be able to buff those out.HOW ABOUT YOU DONT SCRATCH THE NEW PAINT JOB IN THE FIRST PLACE?!They said to bring it in the following Monday, and they would buff it. Dropped it off Monday and didn't hear from them until I called that Wednesday when they opened at 8am; when I was told it wasn't ready but "should be" ready at 5 pm.Their managers answer to all this was sorry. That's it. The scratches are still there, you can barely see them but they are there in the sunshine. But the fact is that we pay an asinine amount of money for these cars. And a repair shop should repair your car "like new!" Not add damages and scratches, then tell you I'm sorry we'll buff it. HOW ABOUT your million dollar corporation Fix the paint job and stop trying to save YOURSELF money on YOUR MESS UP!Horrible experience and I will warn everyone about it so they don't have to subject their car or themselves to this headache.
