Horrible experience! What should have been a simple job to replace two speakers in the dash, resulted in significant damage. There are now marks all over my dash where the tools used scratched and dented it. The only way to repair the plastic is to replace the entire dash. The lack of professionalism is appalling. I cannot recommend them. The customer service is sub-standard.

I went to car.toys trusting that I would receive fair and equal treatment. I was mislead.from the beginning. Oversold, and not told the truth about available product in order to get me to buy a much more expensive product than I wanted or needed. Then I was given a time frame to completion of services which was almost double the actual completion time and then after.paying all that extra money and waiting all that extra time the Jobe wasn't even done to completion part of my purchase was having my windows tinted and they didn't tint my rear window and I have to go back and give more.time to have the job done 4.days later and they left.my car a complete mess inside including leaving the old system they removed in a spray of wires on my car.floor

Awesome experience. Got expert advice and they didn't try to empty my pockets. From the gate the gentleman knew the right answer for me and put it to me straight, showed me the most effective and efficient way to get what I wanted for sound and with install and a solid warranty that will definitely come in handy the number he gave me was most agreeable. Pleasure doing business. Gratitude.

NEVER SHOPPING WITH CAR TOYS AGAIN read the fine print ..bought a new deck with Free install .. deck was 199 plus tax and out the door with all the fees it's 418 and some change that's horrible in misleading people I even have my own new wiring harness..on top of that i purchased and have to wait 5 days for installation...I highly recommend not going through car toys buy online and save yourself hundreds of dollars!!!! day 6 called and order was not even placed when told it was so now was told another 9 days ..not happy this is sloppy business for sure ...most likely just gonna get a refund and NEVER SHOP WITH CAR TOYS AGAIN!!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USING THIS COMPANY EVER!!!

I spent the day at cartoys, to have my factory stereo system upgraded, I'm glad they have snap financial, acima financial, to get approved was a snap, I got a complete stereo system in my 2020 Ford ranger, they did an awesome job, thanks to the crew.. just like the factory should have done..

Partially blaming myself for not just doing the install on my own, or negotiating the pricing.Went in with hopes of getting some reduced pricing with the Presidents Day sale, asked for some help getting some good deals. Ended up paying double the amount I was hoping for.Regretting not just waiting. The sound system is decent but not anything crazy. Fairly basic setup and I could've totally done the install myself. The flat rate for install is outrageous. If you're handy at all, do the install on your own. The equipment is good quality but the work was done in 3 or 4 hours for over $1000 in labor. That's around 250 an hour. I let it happen, but definitely feeling I was worked over and should've negotiated or got another quote.Be wary. Don't be me. I over payed when I shouldn't have, but also was sold into it when they knew I wasn't trying to go over board.

Great selection of items. They do a pretty good job of explaining your options for what you're looking for. The only gruff I had was their communication during installation. We were quoted 2-3 hours for installation. After 3 hours passed, I decided to call & they said it would be about another 35 minutes. One hour later, we stopped by the store to check, as we had not heard back, & they told us it would be another 30 minutes. We could've changed our dinner plans had we known it was going to take that long. No phone calls as we had to call them. Not enough to take it to less than 4 stars since everything else was great, including the finished product.

Brought in my '01 Jeep Cherokee looking for a new stereo and front speakers. All the employees I spoke to today were kind and helpful in all regards. Brandon explained the different types of speakers and how they varied from each other, another (I didn't catch his name, he had shoulder length Grey hair) was very kind and helpful in keeping me in the know with what was going on with the jeep. The price was fair, and when they found two things that were known beforehand (I hadn't taken apart my doors prior to my visit) they didn't add on to the price. Overall had a very good experience and will recommend this location to friends and family in the future! :)

Hands down professional quality service provided. Carl, Install Manager along with Brandon another installation tech and Trey, Mgr in training I believe helped me brainstorm through the tough process of getting my 1989 Porsche 928 some well-deserved sound. I placed my deposit down to get the work rolling but with some unforeseen life issues I pulled back at the current time. Dylan the storm Manager was very easy to work with to get my refund of my deposit rolling. This will be my go-to shop when things calm down. Thank you all for a great experience and cannot wait to hear some tunes in my ride.

I showed up at your store to see when I could get in to have my dash cam hard wired in. I'm taking a trip over the pass this week. You guys got me in and told me it would take an hour to do. While I was waiting for it to be done. My installer told me I had received the wrong plug. I was upset this happened. The installer said give him a minute to see if they could fix the issue. With help from others there a solution was found. I was really impressed with how you all work together to find solutions for problems and help your customers out. Watching how you work with other customers is amazing. I have another vehicle to bring in for a dash cam. This will be done soon. Thank you ALL for your professionalism and support.

When quoting installation times, please try to be more accurate. We were quoted 2-3 hours. When the 3rd hour concluded, we called & they said it would be around 35 more minutes. One hour passed & we returned to the store for status, only to be told we had to wait an additional 30 minutes. It was about another 45 minutes before we finally got the vehicle. If we had known it was going to take that long, we would've changed our plans for dinner.

Awesome. Few days into a ceramic tint so a little early to say on product. So far looks amazing! Dylan, the manager, was helpful and great to work with. Truly appreciated him and the work his crew did. Windows look amazing so far and he was a pleasure to work with.

Went in because my Amp had gone out, asking about wiring and Dylan told me that since they had installed it that it couldn't be the wiring. After buying a new Amp and sub it still didn't work and found out it was my fuse holder at the battery that was the issue. Got one and installed it on site and everything works fine. I will be returning the Amp and sub today, depending on the response from whoever is there when I go in will depend on if I ever shop here again!! Super disappointed in the situation, spent thousands of dollars over the years here and hope that it works out OK today.Update, went back and they were super cool about the return and it was no problem!! Way to save a customer with proper customer service! Updating to 4 stars!

Quoted $650 for full service but failed to mention environmental fees and the tot bill was $787.Then failed to complete the stated work did not even clean the roof. The plastic cover for the speedometer was still dirty in the corners and I found wax visible between the door handle and painted finish.I will not be back.

I had a very disappointing experience. The employees were nice but my truck would not start at a restaurant that i went to after. Luckily it was about 8:30 at night & so the store was still open & an employee came to try to fix the remote system that messed up my starter. I told him to bypass or disconnect the brand new system. He said my starter was a coincidence & is fried. Told me to call a tow truck. Bad experience for me. I regretted ever going to cartoys.

Even though the staff was friendly, I was the first appointment of the day at 10 a.m. to have my battery checked with suspicions of the remote start (that Car Toys installed years ago), it took 2.5 hours of waiting. This was not what I had been told when making the appt and that it would probably take an hour. Also, once it was determined to be faulty, I was charged $154 to uninstall the system when it was bought at your store (at $400). Does Car Toys not stand behind their products? With all this being said, I'll be shopping elsewhere for my next remote start purchase. Thank you for asking.

The store manager, Dylan and Carl the techs were helpful-but rushed. Seems too much business for the staff they have. Which is unfortunate. Also, hey-they upsell like the best. I left spending way more than I wanted too all bc my loan was approved for a certain amount, and after that I felt like I was an after-affect.Also, they broke my truck bottom and cut my carpet on my brand new new car. So, not happy in that aspect.

The car battery was dead after installation. They jumped it and gave me a minimal "How to" with the new radio. I had to buy a new data cable for my radio to my phone for $15 after I paid 2k for the setup. You can't give me a new cable after 2k? Whatever. Got home and tried opening the hatchback. They installed the backup camera upside-down, so now it was blocking the hatchback release. Went back, and they flipped it. I asked if they could put my custom plate frame back on. They said no because it wouldn't fit around the camera. My buddy measured it out real quick, cut it, and it fits perfectly. Took about 5 minutes. And don't get me started on the interior. They installed the amp directly into my backseat, and for some reason, removed the shoulder latch for the rear seat belt. Really? Then, they took out the original deck and swapped it with the new one. However, instead of fabricating a plastic cover for the old Nav screen, they just left it open, so now the dash looks like sh!t. Also, there is a cut of some kind of fabric coming out of the dash area. It looks like they either cut it and did a horrible job, or they didn't tuck it all the way in. I'm not sure.I remember when Car Toys used to be THE PLACE to get your audio stuff done. Sir-Mix-Alot used to go their for his customs. This company, or perhaps just this particular store, has really taken a hard nose dive as far as quality and work performance goes as far as I am concerned.

Great customer service from Matt and the guys in there. They were able to get an Amazon headunit that I bought put in and works perfect. Took a little longer than I expected for the install but they had to troubleshoot some things so it was exceptional

I bought a remote start years ago and have had continuous problems, but the warranty has expired. Over the years of coming in, multiple times I had appointments scheduled but they ended up not being on the calendar so I had to reschedule. This happened again a couple days ago and I had to reschedule for the next day. We agreed on a price to look at my remote start that I would pay. They looked at it and were not able to fix it. But when they gave me my keys, they said it was all done. I also had to ask them for my second set of keys because they had left it in my vehicle in the parking lot on the seat the day after telling me that my truck was a high theft vehicle. I tested my auto start, and that is when I realized it did not work. I also realized that I had not paid for the work. When I told them that the auto start still did not work. That is when they informed me they were not able to fix my system. Then they proceeded to charge me full price, which I did agree to, but never acknowledged the fact that I returned into the store to pay for something when I easily could have just left and not paid for it.

My backup camera stopped working a couple days short of the warranty. I stopped in to see if they could help. Confirmed the camera had failed. I asked how long cause we had Mariner tickets. They got me in and camera replaced no questions in less than a half hour. Branden and Kasey were awesome in helping get this fixed ams covered by warranty. No fuss or push back just took care of it. Super friendly folks theough out the entire store. Thank you for the quick and great seevice. It is rare these days.

After having my passenger window replaced due to a break in I came to the Puyallup Car Toys to have my tint matched and my sunroof tinted. Chris introduced himself the moment I walked into the store, and I knew I was in good hands. He introduced me to Alex and together they ensured me that I would not be able to see a difference in the new vs the previous tint. I came to the Puyallup Car Toys because of the stellar experience my sister had getting her remote start installed. When I went to pick up my car I was shocked at the attention to detail. My passenger window and sunroof look better than my original tint. Alex is a master of his craft, and I will be sending everyone I know his way!

I Brought a aftermarket stereo online from a different site for my 2016 Chevy Malibu, I was trying to install the unit myself but I had no clue on how to install it, the instructions were way off from what i needed to do, plus I end up finding out I got wrong wire harness, so I end up not getting the unit installed,I came in to car toys to ask for professional help, the team was amazing they booked me in as a walk through on the spot, helped me out with what I needed and got my car equipped with the aftermarket stereo under a good amount of time, I highly recommend this team 100%, honestly the best exemplary service out there to get the job done when it comes to sound tech for your car,

I bought a new stereo for my sons car and called to get it installed at the Puyallup location. The guy told me the free installation wouldn t cover all of the costs because it wouldn t come with the correct wiring harness. So I wasn t too concerned.They charged us $380 more for installation for a stereo that was supposed to be a free install. I should have returned the stereo. They told us it would take about an hour to install it took them 3 hours. After an hour and a half we went back to check in. The guys told us they didn t have the correct harness to install so they had to send someone to get it from a different location. But they never called to inform us this detail. I will never go back to CarToys again. This was our 3rd time using them and the other two times were similar experiences.

I took a truck in with growth thanks to the Washington weather and got a truck back that looked better than the day I took delivery in 2015. CarToys took 8 years of grime and made it disappear. I most enthusiastically recommend CarToys detailing to anyone with a vehicle that needs a restoration of good paint from the dirt, grime, slime & slop 8+ years in Washington State can offer.

Dillon and his staff were both incredibly polite and helpful. I dropped my car off at about 3, got speakers, front and rear, a sub, and a new head unit and they had it completed in under 3 hours. They called me for pickup at 5:45 pm.Phenomenal service. My steering controls weren't working when I brought it in, and they got those working as well.Highly recommended for both their knowledge and experience.

Just had my windows tinted on my new WRX and it's looks amazing, not a single blemish in the tint and I couldn't be happier, they also off "Snap" pay which allows you to pay off over time and it comes with a lifetime warranty. Awesome
