To be honest, I'm not too happy. Quoted one price over the weekend. Show up your couple of days later. To have the work done on my truck. And then I was quoted another price.Which added an extra $100 to the exist in quote?From over the weekend it's at one not happy And then I was quoted another price. Went there for wheel bearing assembly replacements and axle change. Started at 9am car was ready at 1:30pm. Nice and fast considering they had to order the axle as well. Mechanic did a wonderful job, spoke with them and explained what they did. The front desk is super chill. Overall great customer service and maintenance.Update 3/21/24Went back for an issue i was having and was also advised that i was missing an engine mount, i gave the ok to install it. Although upon inspecting i see that the L shape bracket was installed upside down and was hitting against the casing, not sure if it was torqued or not but the bolt was also easily removed, and also found a screw driver in my engine bay. They've done a great job in the past, not sure what happened there. Needless to say my issue came back and now i'm down $1600 and cannot spend anymore. Customer service and communication remain top notch.

I ve gone to Apex for auto repairs more than once and they have always taken great care of our vehicles in a timely fashion. Their communication is great, their front desk is clean and professional. I have never once felt like I needed to question the integrity of the owner and his employees. They also honor their warranties, leaving me walking out with gratitude. I m super thankful to know I have an honest shop, that gets the maintenance fixed properly in my personal experience.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Jeff and Tina at the auto repair shop with my 1967 Ford, which was in need of extensive work. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by their exceptional customer service and honesty.Jeff took the time to carefully assess the repairs my car required and provided me with a detailed list of the work that needed to be done. He patiently explained the costs involved, making sure I fully understood the extent of the repairs and the expenses I would incur.Although I ultimately decided not to proceed with the repairs, I cannot emphasize enough how helpful and honest the team at this shop was throughout the entire process. They never pressured me into making a decision and always respected my choices.The level of professionalism and integrity displayed by Jeff and Tina has left a lasting impression on me. It is clear that they genuinely care about their customers and prioritize their satisfaction above all else. Did not fix my truck long term messed up and damaged brand new parts, purposely didn t call me to ask if I wanted to replace other part connecting to the damaged parts, lack of service and very rushed job never am I comming back here I have a seal in my hot side that s also leaking air bubbles out that a simply fix all it needed was a new seal and now I have to retake it all apart myself. Also damaged ac hose and other parts as well do not recommend unless u want a rushed job that you end up having to go back multiply times and argue with the works! And again I m still having to repair the seals they could have offered me for andditional 20$ and would have solved these other isssues and the ac would have been fine if they properly recurred the hose.i completed that the ac freeon sprayed right on my belt they said cost 150$ just to put a new belt on when it was their fault that my belt is now squeaking check the photos terrible work over priced and rushed no care in the world about my vehicle just about the money. Staff is friendly, courteous and communicative. Hub bearing replacement with seized bolts took longer than estimated, but they held to the original quote. Additional requested services involved locating sources of (front) suspension noise- which were accurately diagnosed and treated. Car rides much quieter now. Great service!

Just picked up my 03 Dakota 4x4 after an extensive service including CV joint and prop shaft replacement, front and rear differential service, transfer case service, parking brake adjustment and front sway bar bushing replacement! All that work was done in 24hrs at a reasonable price! They diagnosed the issues and I only needed one CV joint replaced. Office staff was courteous and the mechanic explained all the repairs. Will definitely be using them again for my automotive needs that I can t do myself, and my only gripe is that I live in auburn and they re out of the way for me. But based on this experience it was worth the distance. Getting harder to find enjoyable mechanic experiences these days, so I was very pleasantly surprised. Glad I was recommended here!!

This place was awesome. I called around 7 or 8 other places for a quote for a specific service and was told it would be upwards of $600 +tax and diagnostic fees and, and, and. Some places wanted over $1000! Not here, they quoted me for the service I asked for and exactly that, nothing slipped in or added on, for $450 including tax! They were super transparent about exactly what they charged and what for, and even topped off fluids and aired up my tires for no extra charge. I can't reccomend them enough, I can finally trust a shop!

They were very quick in identifying the issue and getting it resolved. I greatly appreciated that they had a loaner for me while they fixed my SUV since I couldn't get a rental. They are very knowledgable and courteous. Appreciate them very much!

I got tired of the dealers not actually performing an inspection on my truck while adding it to the invoice i.e. Engine lights, sensors and oil leaks clearly visible. I started to wonder if work even being performed. I use my truck for my business and need it reliable. I cost me more to have it out of service than to pay for repairs. I was in and out in less than an hour without an appointment. They found 3 areas/seals where my oil was leaking, reset my engine light and fixed a faulty sensor for no extra charge. They diagnose the issues quickly and give a fair quote to repair.

Recently had clutch replacement on 2006 Toyota tacoma, had some problems with the replacement, apex took care of me and went above anything I was expecting, for that I am very grateful. Would recommend for any automotive work that needs to be done.

I went to this shop for the first time. It was clean, mechanics were professional and they got my fuel filter swapped out fairly quickly. If there's any issues the guys at the counter will get ya taken care of.

I recently had a repair to my car that went through insurance and it was a gigantic headache. I had to fight every step of the way to get my repairs authorized. Apex did an amazing job at helping me navigate that situation. They were very professional, patient, and accommodating and they kept me in the loop at every turn. Repairs were done in a timely manner and the car runs beautifully. They more than earned my business.

Good service but just wackin people. Charged me 650 for a part that costs 200 another 400 for labor. Easy starter job on a Honda turned into 1000. Be careful

First of all, customer care was amazing. They let us drop off our van, that wasn t running, after hours and they were quick to take a look at it. They found out what it was, was fair with the price and fixed it quickly. The car runs amazing and even better than before. I appreciate the responsiveness and the communication of the company. Charged me $490 for just a battery. Worst bang for the buck mechanic around. I'd look elsewhere or atleast call to see what other mechanics are charging.Edit: My car was dead. In order to go somewhere else I would've had to pay for a extra tow. I was told that labor was based on market value yet I was charged over $200 for just the labor. I don't know much about cars so I took it at face value at the time. But if you google labor costs to change a battery. $20-$90. That's 10x the low end and still more than 2x the high end. I was called and asked if the price was okay, but I didn't know market value and I had no other option as it was late, I had work the next day, and I would have to pay for another tow. The service was great. Particularly Aaron was very nice. Aaron deserves a raise! But that was not market price for labor at all. High end batteries can cost $200+ like I was charged. But your labor prices were insane. I've called 3 shops and all 3 thought charging over $200 for the labor of changing a battery on a toyota corolla is ridiculous. So I just want people to know take their labor costs with a grain of salt and call around. Even with towing my car elsewhere I could've saved money while getting the same battery. Please stop calling me, I'm not changing my review. I lost a couple hundred because I didn't call around before accepting the price. I hope my review saves one or two people the money I could've by doing my research.

These guys are great! I ve gone to many mechanics for many different problems. In pierce county there is no other I would take my cars to. They are always reasonable on price. 2005 Chrysler Pacifica- since leaving the dealer service Ive been using Apex and don t regret the move! They are always friendly and professional! Service is completed usually one day at reasonable rates. The techs do great work correct the first time. It is nice to support a local business and know you are being treated correctly and fair. From my first interaction via phone all the way through picking up my vehicle staff was courteous and professional. Couple this with the price, quick turnaround and quality of work, why would anyone on South Hill go anywhere else. As Apex Auto was highly recommended to me, I highly recommend them to anyone who reads this review.

Dropped my husband s lifted rig with unknown issues-it was diagnosed, fixed & returned to us the next day.. when we picked up his rig, they were able to take my suv at the last minute to replace my serpentine belts and it was also done within a couple hours, for a very reasonable cost. Their staff are always friendly, they go out of their way to help, trustworthy and are fairly priced.*2yrs ago, we headed out with our motorhome packed with us & 4 dogs, to discover a leak in our fuel line.. we pulled into the packed parking lot, expecting to be turned away-they had us park in the only shady spot in the back for maybe a half hour, then got us pulled into the shop and fixed our line -with all of our dogs still inside-and got us back on the road within an hour. service, recommend!

We were visiting from Canada and had some concerns with our vehicle. Took the truck to Apex. They took care of us immediately and loaned us their shop van to take care of the things we needed to do. We were so grateful for their care and professionalism.
