They did a great job on the bumper replace. The only problem was the length of time. They told me 5 days but it ended up 15. It was because the bummer ended up needing to be replaced. Somehow it didn t get relayed because the initial evaluation said it would need to be replaced. I did get the car back cleaner than when I dropped it off, which doesn t happen anymore. I will use them again and recommend them to everyone.Service: Body & Trim

Have not ever been to a repair place this outstanding. They do everything here to include interfacing with the insurance company, as well as the car rental company. The work on the vehicle is excellent and it looks like it just rolled off the assembly line again, and they were fast and kept me constantly apprised with status updates. These guys obviously know what they're doing on repairs but the customer service is what really what really leaped out and grabbed my attention. This is without a doubt the most stress free repair job I have ever experienced on any of my cars, ever. Cannot recommend these people highly enough, they are superb. Great experience with John's Body Shop. I had to order my truck gas tank door 3-4 months in advance due to shortages. When it came in, the shop held it for me while I was on summer vacation and did the work later. Great service and they never forgot about my door!Great paint work. Very professional, kind and fast.Had damage on front right bumper and along right door. Used insurance to take care of it and these guys did a phenomenal job! Jamie was very helpful and did a quick job on initial estimate. They kept me up to date on completion time via email so I didn t ever have to wonder when I d get my car back.The job was completed within a weeks time and it looks great! I cannot highly recommend this shop enough. Hannah, Jamie, and the rest of the team did a fantastic job. I hit a raccoon and it caused all manner of damage. I was originally going to a shop that couldn t get me in for almost two months after they completed the estimate. John s CARSTAR could get me into the shop in less than a month. They also took care of getting my claim transferred over from another shop. They ensured I was able to get my rental car at the shop and leave it there when I picked up my car. There were delays in getting parts (bumper cover) and Hannah was very transparent and communicative about the process and when she d have updated information to share. They under-promised and over delivered by going above and beyond to get the right parts in and finish the repair ahead of their estimate after initial delays. The repairs look great and I m very glad I picked them. If you live in Kitsap or even over the water you should look no further for a repair shop after an accident.Service: Body & Trim

Wow!! This place turned my car around so fast !! Went in for a dented bumper. Hannah provided the best possible service I was so relieved to have a friendly welcoming relatable person to walk me through the process ! EDIT: I received a call and apology from Hannah and this shop. They offered to start my repairs as soon as possible and provide me with a Visa gift card to make up for it.Not an ideal situation but I appreciate the apology and fixing of their customer service issue.Original post:I took my car to them 4 months ago (November), and was told they ordered some parts, but the main part I needed was on national back order. Fine - not their fault.I told them my insurance was GEICO - fine, they work with them.I didn't hear ANY updates for months - so I called back in January - still on backorder. Fine - NO information about having issues with GEICO.Still no word a month later - so I had to follow up with them... again - and they proceed to tell me they decided not to work with GEICO anymore and I would have to pay the entire amount.I asked them to give me time to contact GEICO and call them back - they said I took a month to get back to them, so INSTEAD OF CALLING ME TO TELL ME THEY WERE CANCELLING MY ORDER - they cancelled it without informing me of that.And now, I have to start this entire process over again with another body shop.It seemed like such an "inconvenience" for Hannah to call me and update me or let me know what was happening. Not once did I get a call from them - all the follow-ups were on my side.

This was our first time taking our car repair business to John's Body shop in Poulsbo and we were very impressed and happy from start to finish! We highly recommend this body shop.Everyone there is very friendly, the customer service space is clean and organized which is a good first impression since the actual works requires cleanliness and attention to detail.The repair work was flawless, and the communication before and during the repair process via email and text was excellent.In the event that we need car body work in the future, we'll bring our business to John's!Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Overall it was a fantastic experience. The staff worked diligently to keep me informed of the process. For example, when supply chain issues caused delays to my required parts, the staff was quick to let me know. The quality of the repair was outstanding. The front bumper cover and backing plastic were replaced and painted to a factory match. Would definitely reccomend.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

They fixed my car up perfect after it was stolen and damaged. They made sure everything was noted and accounted for. Gave me updates when I requested and made sure to inform me on any delays. Staff was amazing and informative. They also took care of making sure my insurance company was up to date on everything so I barely had to do anything.

I was in my first car accident and I didn't know what to do. I called them and they came to the scene of the accident to ensure my truck was safe to drive. I was able to drive it to the shop they are extremely professional. They made it so easy. They were in constant contact with me giving me updates on the status. When it was done it looked amazing like brand new. I will recommend them to everyone I know.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My family has exclusively used this body shop for our vehicles for the last 15 years with stellar experiences.This was our first time using them in the new location under the new corporation- and I m so disappointed.We were in an accident in early December that resulted in mostly cosmetic issues, but also tire alignment issues. To no fault of their own getting parts needed was next to impossible- however in their control was their communication and attitude. Both were terrible from the get go. After the accident it was a no brainer to use this shop because of our previous experience and they are preferred with our insurance company- unfortunately we picked up the vehicle today (after 3 long months of waiting) and the only thing they worked on was the cosmetic damage. They insist the vehicle repair is completed, however the steering wheel is still sitting at a 45 degree angle. They must ve drove this vehicle half a dozen times and how they decided that this was fine is beyond me. I ended up having to waste several hours of my time on the phone with my insurance company to let them know this repair IS NOT completed, and now wasting several hours on a Saturday to take this vehicle somewhere else more competent to fix the underlying alignment issue Johns/Carstar didn t seem to figure out on their own. We will not be returning to this business anytime soon.Service: Body & Trim

CarStar John's Body Shop did an amazing job on my 2018 Honda Ridgeline after hitting a deer earlier this year. Their customer service, professionalism, and work are beyond 5 stars. Repaired collision damage to front left bumper. Replaced front left headlight housing. Painted left front fender and engine hood as well as front bumper housing.Job was done professionally and timely. Overall collision repair experience was excellent.
