Good honest auto repair shop. I had brake pads, rotors, fluid, new tires, plugs and coils replaced. It was easy to schedule and gave a realistic time for completing the service. I would recommend and use it again in the future.

I have a BMW with a difficult diagnostics problem. The technicians at Walts Auto were able to find the problem(s) and fix it. As a woman I know that finding a auto shop you can trust is difficult. Everyone at Walts made me feel welcome and kept me up to date at every step so there were no surprises. A huge shout out to Ted and Vance for explaining the work so that I could understand. Honest shop are bust shops and Walts is one of the busiest; .however, I wouldn t go anywhere else!Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto exhaust system replacement, Brakes

I check reviews and do them. A way to evaluate risk to me and support local... I take with a grain of salt. I care for my car with an eye to keeping it along with managing cost. My mechanic closed. This was my first attempt to try this biz with an oil change. Exactly what I needed from beginning to end +. Open on Saturday!! Fair price with extraordinary customer service! Let me know to check the front brakes next oil change. Confirmed dirty air filters which I knew but had not mentioned. No pressure just info. You can do it cheaper? Then do it. You want good service and not to feel bent over... then this is your place. Even pulled my car up to the front door. Just leave some Saturday spots for my car because I will be coming back.

$600+ for a motor mount replacement. Told me that there was a 4th mount that they had to special order and wanted me to come in the next day. The rattle persisted because of the one bad mount. Only to find out that there is no 4th mount and the rattle was because they either never put the bolts into one of the mounts or put them in finger tight and the fell out immediately. Also never replaced the bolts for my air intake. The second star is because they have been honest with me in the past.

I have moved 40 minutes away, and I still bring/tow my car here! Best mechanics, amazing customer service, and fair prices. I have never been talked down to because I am a woman, and these guys know their stuff. 100 stars!

Went to get it looked at for a cylinder one misfire. Was quickly called back saying my battery was the problem. I know a little about cars so quickly knew that couldn t be the problem. They offered to change it for $250 but I decided to change it myself. $60 and ten minutes of my time at Walmart saved myself $190. Asked them tore-diagnose with the same $150 they charged me initially and they graciously agreed. But justthis once. Walt s reached out and said the next morning it was the alternator and it would be $1500 and four weeks to get the part. A little skeptical (never heard of alternator giving P0301 code) I got the alternator and installed it along with a knew serpentine. Guess that wasn t the issue. Cars still out of commission. I want to find a good mechanic. Unfortunate first encounter

I took my 1996 motorhome to Walt s because their website indicates they do RV repair. My motorhome had been driving without any issues until I was out on an adventure a few weeks ago. While driving, I noticed my speedometer bouncing around intermittently. We made it to our destination that evening without any other issues. The next day, the motorhome was driven 150 miles home and the speedometer was bouncing around the whole time at this point. After getting off the highway, the transmission started shifting hard and inconsistently. After a bunch of research, I found the speed sensor on these E350s also impact the transmission and shifting. Walt s told me I needed a new transmission and quoted me $5600. I asked multiple times if it could be the speed sensor causing the issue but they told me no without even offering to change the speed sensor. After paying $150 in diagnostic fees, I took my motorhome back to my house and changed the speed sensor myself. A simple $40 fix saved me from having to buy a $5600 transmission. After driving the RV 400 miles this weekend without any issues, I m completely disappointed in Walt s and am upset I paid $150 for absolutely nothing. Never again will I take any vehicles to this place.

Took my 1995 Yukon for an inspection, was notified of the issues,Chris the manager took the time to show me the issues and listed them in importance. I really appreciate Chris and Walt's.Have used Walts for 8 years and very happy with the friendly and professional staff.

Took my car in for starting and stalling issues. $2400 later, still not fixed. Kept hearing "well the part we replaced needed replacing , we tested drove it. Bring it back in". Absolutely ridiculous, 2 weeks of car problems and bringing it back to them. Would Not recommend this place to anyone.Service: Auto engine diagnosticService: Auto engine diagnostic

Took my car into them for some hub work and axle work. They are very friendly and kept me in the know of everything. GREAT SERVICE AND EXCELLENT PEOPLE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM !

I took my car to Walts and they told me I needed to replace the transmission which costs around $5000. So when they started to work on it they discovered that was not the problem. The problem was that squirrels had been storing peanuts inside the hood of the car, It was a lot .Looked like they had been doing it for quite some time. So the Mechanics cleaned it up and the cost was only $140.00. A nice surprise for me. I have to respect their honesty and am very pleased with their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs car repairs.All the guys working there are honest and friendly.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Update to oil change service. It is now easy to get right in for service with all the same great care. They even patched my slow leaking tire one afternoon without a charge. Thank you!Great service (oil change) and reasonably priced. They are independently owned. Don't go last minute though, advise to make an appt well in advance. I waited 3weeks for mine.

This is, by far, the best shop I've ever taken my car to. They're extremely honest, quick to diagnose the issue, and just as quick getting your vehicle back to you. The pricing is affordable and will probably beat any other shop. Damian and the guys are all friendly and their customer service skills aren't lacking in any way. I can't say enough great things. Honestly.

I can't say enough good things about this place. When my husband's car broke down on the side of the freeway, early in the morning, they had no problem letting me get it towed there without an appointment. Right away I got a call from Damien, and he was great! Not only was he extremely smart about knowing what was wrong with my car, he had it fixed for me before closing time! Just an all around nice guy too. Very refreshing to have such great customer service! I've been to other places in port orchard, and always have had a problem with my car instantly after picking it up, always resulting in me having to take it back to the shop again, and being without a car for a week or more sometimes. It's been over a week since I picked up my husband's car, and everything is perfect. Finally a mechanic that doesn't rip me off! Yay! Anyway, thanks so much guys! You've got a new lifetime customer. -Amanda and Josh-

No one could figure out what was wrong with my car. Fernando did. Kudos to Fernando !! He is the best!! My car doesn't have to sound bad just because it has almost 100,000 miles on it! Love Walts!!! You are the best!!

First and only time...I will not be back. My husband booked an apt. For oil change..air filter change and tire rotation. We arrived that Sat before opening for our apt and was told they over booked and had to cancel. We rearranged plans to make this work so they took the truck at 8am after some debating. Less than an HR before closing no one called so when we did and they said "oh yeah it's done come pick it up". My husband and I get there 15 min later and we were told the owner left to the part store and no one could check us out. On top of that one of the workers I asked how long the wait was going to be was rude and said oh well not my problem. 25 min later the owner arrived and checked us out...$80 for oil/air filter change that took from open to close and they missed the tire rotation we had an apt for. So now I have to schedule another apt else where to finish the services I had asked them to complete. Thx Walt's for such a bad experience.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Over the years I've had problems with auto mechanics, it always seemed that they couldn't be trusted, and for good reason usually. Time and again it was proven that I didn't trust them for a reason.Now, here it is 2019 and my car started the year off with a bang. My normally trusty car started dying on me and just being a pain in the rear. It usually wouldn't restart and I had to have it towed home twice. A good friend of mine recommended Walt's and said they had worked on hers a few times. So, the 3rd time it died out on me I called Walt's and they told me to bring my car on by and they'd check her out.It was really busy when I got there so I wondered how (and when) they'd ever be able to look at & work on my car, but I left it there after instructing them to give it a tune up and replace the solanoid and fuel filter (husband said that's what it needed). About 4 hours later I got a call to come pick it up. After talking with Jake awhile in the office and watching everything going on while I was there, I must say this place is absolutely amazing! The employees are all focused on their work and do what needs to be done.My only problem was the car ran perfect for 2 days. My heart nearly stopped when it did the same old thing yet again! So I had her towed back to Walt's, really upset that it wasn't fixed!This time the diagnosis showed that my fuel pump wasn't getting any power, so of course it couldn't run without fuel. It didn't show that the first time around. Sooo, I left it there again and 6 hours later I had my car back, this time running perfectly. The fuel pump had been dying but it wasn't completely dead and so it didn't show up in the diagnostics. Once it showed that it actually was the fuel pump which of course was located inside the gas tank, then they were able to get to it and replace it. The problem is gone, and my car is fixed!The guys at Walt's are honest, hard working people. They explained everything in detail and answered every question that I had. I have finally found a vehicle repair place that I can trust and I'll never take any of my cars anywhere else now. I'll also recommend them to anyone that needs car repair done, whether friend, family or otherwise!Way to go guys I am impressed!

I don t trust my car with anyone else. I know that when I take my 4- Runner and Acura to Damian and his crew that the job will be some right the first time, fast, and for a great price. Jake is super friendly up front and was very helpful and informative. All around can t recommend this shop enough!

I brought my car in to see if they could replace the fuel line. The mechanic explained to me that I needed to find an original part to replace the old one. I appreciate that he was honest with me. Some auto shops may have taken advantage of me and performed a low quality repair. Honesty is a great policy.

Called in about a bad alternator after needing a jump at school drop off and was out and running by lunch! Ted was so nice and gave options and updates. They have a loaner and seemed to be great and efficient! Super impressed!

The manager Chris got us in to look at our car right before he needed to close shop and helped us through the whole process with a smile on his face!The staff was quick and helpful and the prices were affordable!Great costumer service, and service work from beginning to end! Would highly recommend!

Great service and friendly people. I have been going to Walt's in Port Orchard for regular maintenance and for larger problems I have inevitably run into over the years. Every person working there is courteous, friendly and professional. They have always given me quality service that I can depend on. My daughter is a new driver and I'm happy to have a local shop to send her to that I can trust.

Walt's has truly been amazing shop to deal with... especially when previous shops had given improper diagnosis for issues leading to my car basically exploding on me. They even went the extra mile for me in dealing with a warranty company trying to screw me out of payment on a valid claim. My claim was ultimately denied and after Mr. Damion got on the line with gwc and shared some encouraging input i got a call that same day you let me know they would be paying. I cannot say enough good things about this shop to fully convey just how amazing they all are. Thank you so much Damion and crew... you guys really were life savers!

Walt's is by far the best mechanic shop in Kitsap County! They are professional and do the job right. Damian, the manager, is the best shop manager that I have ever worked with. They have taken care of my cars on several occasions. They are my mechanic for everything from now on! They have great prices as well!

As a single income I was worried about the work my 2006 Honda needed. The dealership told me I needed a tune up and transmission work. I knew I needed new tires. Damion broke everything down for me in a way I could understand it, what needed to be done, what could wait and a realistic time-line. The good news I didn't need all the major work I believed I did. Also Jacob showed me how to get my stuck windshield wipers off. They were all very patient and caring. I would definitely recommend them.

Brought our car in that had some major issues, ended up getting two free car inspections. They were very honest with us and offered us great advice with how to deal with the unrepairable car. The staff was very friendly and did'nt try to gyp us. I will definetly be taking all future car problems to Walt's!

Walt's has been my go to mechanic while living in Port Orchard. These guys are great, accommodating, & the best priced quality service I've seen in the area. Just make sure to make an appointment first.

Probably not enough characters allowed for me to write how amazing this automotive repair place truly is. I was taken here by a tow truck (Gary SK towing) because he was trying to save me from spending too much at the dealership. On a complete whim, I agreed and that was the best decision I have ever made. Damion and his crew-Jake, Jeff, Ty, Steve, John, and others that I have not learned on a first name basis are an amazing group of men. Damion has been honest, recommended work that has helped, told me where to go when he couldn't fix my truck, and helped me in times of need. The only reason he couldn't fix my truck one time was because the shop was not set up to do the diesel repair that was needed. Damion came to get me and my family when my truck broke down in tow...towing my 35ft. travel trailer on the side of the road. Furthermore, Damion contributes to local charities and supports our local sports teams with donations from Walt's. Damion and Walt's not only care about our vehicles and safety, but he also cares about his community.Damion is the only person I trust to touch my truck. I trust him with my life if you think about this...I haul my wife and three boys around in this vehicle. We travel the PNW towing our trailer camping, think about the safety issues involved with such a big load and precious cargo. I'm not sure how else to express this review. If you are looking for a respectable place, honest people, and mechanics who do the work right then Walt's automotive is the place you want to take your vehicle. If you want a place that will make your vehicle perform correctly, the first time then this is the place for you as well. Damion is an amazing human, mechanic, and business person...the owner is lucky to have him running the business.
