This is the first wrecking yard where Ive encountered people who treat its customers good...They pull the parts for you and are very very fair on pricing...I drive a 93 dakota 4x4 hard to find parts for and they allow you to purchase what you need over phone so you can not make the drive for nothing... I highly recommend coming here...plus they have an awesome mascot dog camped out in lobby :)

I had been chasing down a specific discontinued part for my car for weeks with no luck and just tons of frustration - until I lucked into talking to Harry at Kitsap Truck & Auto! He not only checked their lot for the piece that might fit what I was looking for, but also talked me through how to describe what I was actually needing in case I needed to continue calling other shops(as a person who knows very little about cars I was talking myself in circles trying to find this thing!) and sent me detailed pictures of the matching car they had on their lot so I could verify the available parts with my mechanic before purchasing. Every other place I ve called hasn t been even half as helpful as these folks, I m almost disappointed we ended up finding the part needed from a different seller! I know who I ll be reaching out to if I need any more used parts in the future though; thank you for the excellent and helpful communication from all of your team members!

Harry was fantastic. I went in there last week to find a driver seat for my Mazda 3. They happen to have one, the seat was in great condition but had some mold on it. He cleaned it up and had it in outstanding condition. His customer service and attitude is the prime example of how establishments should be ran. I will definitely be back if I ever need car parts.

Come in and see Shawn he'll help you out. Didn't have enough money to cover the Total Core fee and they were nice enough to help us out because we gave him a long way to get the part they are very friendly helpful and knowledgeable

Bought a engine 6.8 v10 that cost me $1900. They said it would be ready the next day, next day comes and it s not ready, No problem. Call the next day same thing. I asked where the engine is and he said all they have to do is pull it with the fork lift in their garage. A week later I call again and he said it should be ready today or tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and it s still not ready. If you spend next to $2000 on something you would think they would care a little more especially since all you need to do is grab it with a fork lift.

These guys were awesome. I went to get a new window and they took me on a VIP Deluxe ride into the junk yard so I could figure out if there were more parts I needed for my car.The price was about 1/4 the cost of a new window. The mechanic guy (Jaime I think) took the window out of the junker like a boss!Definitely come here for parts, even if you live in another state!

They don't sell parts really in the sense a junkyard or salvage place should, they sell some, but then if you need a hard to find one, and you have to buy the whole unit its attached to?Seriously, that is exactly why I have ordered everything online (This was the first call to a local store in a long time to find a used part and this is exactly why), 5 minutes online on eBay however and I found my part from a junkyard willing to sell parts. $65 which included shipping. It just means I have to wait a couple more days, then well that's the bricks at least I did not have to deal with people that look to ruin the do it yourselfer.I would have happily paid over a hundred bucks for the single part I needed as there was no way I am buying another transfer case for a single part.

I needed a part for my transmission on my car, it's right there in the engine compartment, would've taken all of 5 minutes to pull it off... They wouldn't pull that part. Now because of their unwillingness to pull a small part, I have to spend $150 to buy a brand new part where a used one would've worked just fine. I'll never give these people my business again.

Referred to them by another salvage company and had a great price. Better yet, they were willing to work with me to pay over phone and allow me to pick it up after hours because I was driving a distance. Good, easy to work with guys.

First, they bold-face lied to me on the phone. Put me on hold to 'check' then told me the part was the color I wanted to match my car. I called a couple days later to see if the part was still there & asked if they would match a price I found across town that was $5 cheaper. He says OK. When I show up (I said I was coming right over for the part) I waited about 45 minutes for them to pull the part. It's not the color I wanted, not even close. When I arrived I had asked for a second (easy to remove) part so I know that is not why I waited so long, but when asking the price for that part, the way he answered was sorta fishy, like as if he was adding extra $$ because he went lower on the other part price. "Douche-bag" is the name that comes to mind. Oh,yeah. He also down-talked the other auto yard claiming they must have been lying to me about having that part. Really! Thou dost protest too much, methinks.

Drove down from Vancouver, Canada, to pick up some parts for my BMW 7 Series. I admit I was hesitant due to some reviews on here, but Dave was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The parts were in excellent condition; much better than I expected, considering the car they were pulled from took a nice whack on the passenger side. The price was *extremely* fair. I would not hesitate to drive 400 miles, round trip, to buy parts from them again.

I bought a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country from here and it was such a pain-free, easy experience. Being a single mom who doesn't know a lot about cars so I can see places taking advantage of that, but Dave and Shawn didn't. They were totally open about everything. The price was under what I had budgeted, they even helped with the licensing. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Thank you guys so much for all your help. I love my van!!

Good guys. Not too far from Tacoma with the parts you need at a reasonable price. Picked up a wheel for a Highlander from these guys. It was as described. Hopefully I won't need their services anytime soon but, if I had to pick some parts for an older vehicle, this is the place to contact.

I called and it was almost 6pm and they close at 5pm. I was surprised when someone answered... I will say that Tracy, was so nice and helpful during our whole conversation I felt that I had give her 5 + 2 For helping me. She didn't give me the call back tomorrow during business hours excuse. She actually went online and found the part I needed at a competitors in Shelton. That's what I call excellent customer service! So if you're looking for a part for your old used car ask for Tracy and tell her Paul sent ya! LOL! THANK YOU TRACY!

went in and asked for a part, the counter person said they do not sellsmall parts and suggested I go to the part store down the street. I explained to him that they do not make the part for my truck, he asked me to wait a minute and he returned with the part I needed in his hand.I was in and out in a couple minutes, they were great.

My father and I purchased a used F150 from Shawn who gave a very honest opinion and description of the vehicle. We have had the truck now for a few days and have been very happy with it.

Tons of cars, no need to search for hours for your car they have database to look up cars and get parts with you. Thankfully when I went in the same model of truck had just been brought in and the guy took the parts off for me!

What s in it for me That s what Dave said for a navigation DVD player he had sitting on his desk in front of him. Our navigation DVD player in our Acura MDX will not read the DVD disc according to Honda. They recommended replacing the DVD player. The unit is mounted under the passenger side front seat with two 10mm nuts, very easy to pull out of the vehicle. I called Kitsap Auto Wrecking to ask if they had the part I needed. Dave called me back and said he had the part in front of him but the DVD player maybe vehicle specific and he couldn t guarantee it will work for my vehicle. I asked if I could bring my MDX to their wrecking yard and plug in the DVD player to make sure it works before I buy it. Dave said he wasn t interested in troubleshooting my electrical problems then asked what s in it for me? My response was a potential sale . I understand electrical problems can take time to diagnose and a wrecking yard does not make money when people test different parts to find the problem however this situation seems to be slightly different since Dave already had the part in front of him. Dave s solution was charge me $35 to test the part. My solution was to tell other people the low level of service they can expect from Kitsap Auto Wrecking and spend my money elsewhere. Too bad to Kitsap Auto Wrecking since the DVD player sells for a few hundred dollars.

Over the phone, they told me how to fix my Honda that I thought was dead. A literal four-dollar part got me running when I was about to have her towed into town for an expensive repair. (I fried my main fuse by jump-starting it wrong. $US4)
