Nice straight forward experience from first phone and email contact with pricing including. They were clear with communication and made me feel confident that the car I was interested in would not be sold out from underneath me since I was coming from a good distance away. When I arrived the vehicle was ready for a test drive. No negotiations needed afterward, pricing was per original email. Finance room was just as to the point as the sales experience. Left with the car without feeling pressured into any extras. Much better experience than my local dealers.

My very first time at this dealership and it was a great experience! I needed a repair on my Camaro and they were able to get me in very fast and diagnosed and repaired my issue in the same day. I felt they were honest, fairly priced and the communication from Sue was appreciated. What they don t know is the fiasco I went through with Haselwood Chevy. I paid $300 dollars for my last oil change at Haselwood. Gilchrist was less than $100 and did it same day as my repair. Overall happy and you have a new customer!

The service center at had me set up and wait 2 weeks to get an appointment for my 2017 Chevy bolt to get looked at when I dropped off my keys I was told by James that they don't do water leaks and I was going to have to send it to tacoma. Not only that the work would not be covered under the warranty. After a very short amount of research not only is the problem I was having a relatively common thing. It was covered by the warranty. Do not go to this service center. They do not want to work on your vehicle!

I actually already have suggested that people go to Gilchrist based on my experience. The Chris's made it super easy to buy a car. There was no pressure. They answered all my questions. They solved any issues we had. It was fast, which was my favorite part. The only thing that took some time was getting the teacher discount. And that was because we had to register with ID me. It was a pain, but there was nothing they could do about that. Anyway, I will definitely recommend them. I am trying to get my dad to go buy a Bolt there right now.

This place is hands down the best dealership with amazing people working here. We had an issue with our vehicle took it to the service center on multiple occasions. On the last trip to the service center the part ended up being on national back order and there was no fixing it! With a lot of time and patience spent on the sales associate side they got us into a new to us 2021 Chevy trax and we could t be happier. They were so patient and let us take time to decide if this was the best route for us in a sticky situation! We are extremely pleased with the service we received both from the service center and the sales associates! We highly recommend Gilchrist to everyone!!

It was such a pleasant and professional experience from the moment we drove on the car dealership property. Nolan assisted us with every aspect of dealing with the purchase of our truck . We received a very acceptable trade-in. Nolan was friendly, honest, helpful and we even got invited to their Christmas party luncheon. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

If I could give negative stars I would, this place is full of idiots in the service department. We took our truck in there about three weeks ago and I told them the issue is the voice assistant keeps randomly going off, which has started happening after the last over the air update. I was ignored by the service advisors for about 15 minutes in the lobby until the manager pointed out how long I d been standing there. They had my truck for about five hours, and took it on a test drive where they got the error to reproduce for the technician but couldn t figure out why it is happening and they had to escalate the issue to their technical assistance team. At no point did they call me with an update about this, so just before they were about to close I called them asking for any new news and when they might be done. They put me on hold for about 10 minutes and when I got the service advisor I d worked with that morning he acted totally confused about having my truck and the issue I was describing, he then called me back and told me they had to elevate my issue and they weren t going to hear back from the technical assistance team that day and I d need to bring the truck back another day. We scheduled another appointment for 3 weeks later, before bringing the truck in we called to see what they were going to do and he told us they were going to check for electrical faults which we told them AGAIN is not the issue this started happening after the last over the air software update. He told us to bring the truck in again, we dropped it off at 8:30 in the morning and didn t hear back at all during the day. We tried to call about 4 o clock just before they closed. We were put on hold for about 10 minutes again when we finally got through to a service advisor he had no idea what we were talking about so we decided to just drive to the dealership and ask them in person what they had done with the truck. We showed up to the dealership 7 1/2 hours later to realize the truck HADN T EVEN MOVED FROM WHERE WE PARKED IT THAT MORNING. We asked the service advisor what is going on and we were told that we brought it in JUST IN CASE the technical assistance team needed him to troubleshoot anything additional which they didn t and he still hasn t looked into the over the air update software update at all when we have told him multiple times after that is when this issue started happening. What a giant waste of time, this Gilchrist is clearly the land of misfit toys and have no regard for anyone else s time or money.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership last week, it was a really positive experience despite my own nerves. I came in with a set budget and pre approval through the CUDL program. I worked with John Ward who recommended a car that was a good fit for my budget and matched my vibe. Bill was able to work with the overall price of the vehicle and handle the trade in while ensuring I could afford my monthly payments. It worked out really well, I ve been loving my car!

Came in to look at a 24 Chevy trax, and left happily with a Chevy trax. My original car loan plan did not pan out, but the salesman came up with a solution that allowed me to leave happily in my new car. Would recommend

I contacted the dealership with interest in a car that was allocated and on order. Steven Hewitt, my salesman, contacted me right away and made all of the arrangements for me to purchase the vehicle. They did not elevate the price for "market value" and were extremely helpful in making this dream car purchase a reality for me. I highly recommend Gilchrist Chevrolet!

I spoke to several dealerships in my search for a truck. Only one was truthful, Gilchrist. All the the others told me they had trucks in transit and would be there any day only one told me exactly where the truck was, Gilchrist. All of the other dealerships tried to sell me something I said I didn't want, only one showed me exactly what I was looking for, Gilchrist. I only spent what I wanted to spend. I had to wander around the lot to look at trucks everywhere else, Gilchrist brought the trucks to me. I was treated like they were there to serve me and no one else.

Great place to get Chevrolet service. James and Sue are both awesome to work with. Also bought a car here last year, at the time they were offering free oil changes per life of vehicle, not sure if they are doing that now? Please don't change, I hope to do business here for many more years!

Less than satisfactory. I was ignored, information was very slow coming. Went for an oil change, ended up having to replace oil pan because threads from plug came off in oil pan. Nobody knows why this happened. Service dept is the only ones that have worked on my car. Gary Branin

Customer service is ok. The front desk representative seemed irritated to have to help me. I never got a phone call when my parts arrived, I had to call them myself to find out. On a positive note, they fixed my issues with my car.

It was great except I thought I was sure I was supposed to also have lane assist which was important to me. The car I had originally ordered had this. I wish I would have looked closer at the sticker and now I am stuck without it. I paid several thousands more for this car as well and yes, many more options, but this important one is missing.I felt Steve himself did a great job. I just wish I relied less on trusting I was getting all of the previously ordered car and more as I originally thought

Fantastic experience working with Gilchrist on a Bolt EUV. Communication as the car was in transit was great, transaction was super quick, no pressure, friendly, honest and respectful throughout the process. They even picked me up from the ferry dock with the car to test drive it back to their lot which was a nice way to save money on a rideshare and try the car out at the same time. Steven our sales person was great!

We purchased a vehicle this weekend from Jay and Kevin. I will say if you want a straight forward answers without out the struggle of big city negotiations and wondering if they are even listening, go see them. It was more relaxed approach and felt like we got the deal we were looking for without the battle or hassle. Keep the great work and you have a customer for life.

The dealership no longer washes vehicles after they have been in for service even if said vehicle was purchased there. Kinda cheesy compared to other local places. James in Service Dept. is a good guy though & the reason I go back

From pulling up to driving away we were blown away at the personal dedication and friendliness of Nolan at Gilchrist Chevrolet. We were searching for what all the other dealerships referred to as a "unicorn" of a car.It was my daughter's 1st car and we were looking for a car with 2 very specific conditions. We went to 6 dealerships who treated us like we had unrealistic expectations and most acted like we were annoyed when we declined to be pressured into broadening our guidelines.We showed up 5 minutes before Gilchrist was scheduled to close and Nolan wasn't phased a bit. Took his time with us searching the lot and computer system trying to find us " the one". When he had something within our budget he excitedly pointed it out walked us through it and even offered a test drive over 20 minutes after closing. To top it off, he didn't seem like he minded and even supported us in taking the night to think it over and do some research. When we returned the next morning for a test drive, Nolan was there waiting and ready to give us the full tour. While we were doing the paperwork he even was on his hands and knees wiping the car down and making it smell good not because he had to but because he felt it "...was the right thing to do"Needless to say, Gilchrist, you're doing something right by keeping non-pressuring, relatable, and friendly people like Nolan as sales professionals. Thank you for a phenomenal car buying experience. A special thank you to Nolan for my daughter learning to drive a manual in less than 4 days. God bless you!

Only giving 1 star because you can't give 0. I brought my 2016 Chevy Cruze in for work due to leaking coolant and oil and a rough idle. They assessed the problem as a intake manifold value issue and a separate undefined coolant leak issue, and gave me a $2000+ quote to repair it. It took over a week over the estimated timeframe for them to get to my vehicle. When I called for an update during that time on three separate occasions, the front desk would have to transfer me to the service department repeatedly while I waited on hold, only for no one in the service department to actually pick up after a good 5-10 minutes of waiting. I never got through to anyone in service despite multiple different days of trying to reach them. They eventually called me days later to say the vehicle was ready. After I got the vehicle back, the nightmare truly began. The problem was not fixed and continued, even on the drive home--at no point was the problem ever actually solved. Because I needed the vehicle at that moment and it was still driveable (exactly how it was before they worked on it), I brought the car back a couple weeks later at the first opportunity I had. I only drove it on a couple occasions. After they got to evaluating the car about a week after I dropped it off again, they called back to tell me that the cause of the coolant and oil leak was actually a blown head gasket. This means the car needs a new engine and is essentially totaled in light of the repair cost. I noted how frustrated I was that they had made me spend over $2,000 in repairs not only to NOT fix my vehicle, but to sink that much into a vehicle that was not even worth the repairs. They then had the audacity to tell me that I would owe them ANOTHER $135 for the "hour" they spent figuring out that the head gasket was blown. Un-freaking-believable.I have never in my life posted a bad review about anywhere--but this place requires a public service announcement. Maybe they're fine to buy a car from, I don't know, but don't use their service department.
