So my wife and I were on our way north to Fort Flagler and decided to drive this way and check this town out. Man, we were so happy we did. It's such a cute little town. Yes, I said cute lol We travel the PNW everything we get a chance and never saw this town on any list of places to visit. It will definitely be on the list with the rest. With that said, the general store is the life of this little town, in my opinion. Not only are there so many things to choose from you Aldo git a Cafe in the back with delicious food. Up top you can tour the museum and enjoy views sitting while you eat. We love this little town, but most of all, this general sealed the deal. If you just stumbled across this, please make the time for a day trip here.

Very quaint store. They had a lot of cute Christmas ornaments and decorations. They had scarves, kitchen products, candles, and many other items. They had a lot of inventory on hand but it was all kept neat and organized.Unfortunately, we didn t get a chance to try the offerings from the cafe.Restroom was very clean!

We accidentally found this wonderful store at Port Gamble. They have a LOT of very interesting stuff which we ve never seen anywhere else. (Dare you to not buy anything here.) Very friendly staff. They also have coffee shop and light eats. Besides tables outside, a few tables in the balcony are romantic settings.

Lovely General Store with lots of fun items, wine and gifts. There is a cafe in back. I ordered the Mango Curry Chicken Salad Sandwich a slice of Whiskey Pecan Pie and A Carrot Cake. The sandwich and pecan pie was good but the Carrot Cake was phenomenal. With the coconut icing. Yummy. I also bought a pint of Sasquatch Sighting ice cream - peanut butter deliciousness. I would highly recommend a stop here. Very friendly staff.

Fun place to stop. We enjoyed their shop of various things, their cafe, and their upstairs museum. Even the building itself is well worth seeing. It's an amazing open design where the upper two stories consist of perimeter balconies along with a grand staircase to navigate the levels. The museum is packed with interesting marine specimens. We learned a lot during our stop. The people were all friendly and we would definitely stop again on another trip.

The General Store is a staple of any trip up this way from Tacoma. It s a great place for gifts, snacks, treats, and just to get out of the car and stretch your legs. The staff are all super friendly and great with our kids, even when they were melting down a bit. We got some great souvenirs and snacks for the road, and the ocean life museum upstairs is always a hit. I love all the shark faces! Highly recommend if you re ever in the area.

First time stopping out of the many times I have passed through on adventures. Glad I stopped because I found lots of unique and fun items in the store for myself and clients. I also bought a couple drinks which were too sweet for my taste haha. I will make sure I stop next time to try the caf. If you usually drive thru Port Gamble, you should stop next time and check out the history and this store/caf.

Built in 1916 and currently houses the General Store & Caf, Of Sea and Shore Shell Museum, the Port Gamble Historic Museum, and the delicious Kitchen. Open for over 100 years, and still the social hub of town.

Port Gamble general store and Cafe are a must stop on the peninsula. We love taking drives and always find ourselves stopping at this spot to enjoy their wonderful food at the cafe. The staff is really friendly as well and service is always delivered with a smile. The history here is incredible as well as one of the oldest buildings in Washington State. There is also a ghost tour for anyone brave enough to stick around after dark.In their Cafe they serve wonderful sandwiches scones and other various baked goods as well as a wonderful selection of coffee and mixed drinks. Anything not on the menu can be found usually in the general store as they have everything from a candy shoppe to home decor, novelty items, gifts, clothing and other various items that are charming. It's a wonderful blast from the past and a destination location to stop at if you're staying or passing through. My name is Brian James and I was here.

Very courteous, respectful, professional, mom&pop couple. So glad I had the opportunity to browse this late 1880's thru the 1960's clothing and traditional items that for example: my great grams passed down to my grams and then to my mother, type artifacts. Things that I remember eyeing and picking up at my grams and she'd say. "No honey put that down those are antiques and I want to give them to your mother one day so she can pass them down to you." Such wonders in this store are quite fascinating. Also, In the coffee shop 'round back', are some of the greatest tasting pies such as their apple caramel crumb pie, and whiskey pecan pie . My son and I each, ordered both slices !!

After we checked out this adorable little town with a museum, gift shop, theater, haunted house ( the most haunted in Washington state apparently! ) and even a team house! We ended up at the beach across from it and it was beautiful!

This quaint shop exudes an enchanting atmosphere reminiscent of a scene straight out of a movie. It's an absolute must-visit, where you can't help but browse and select a delightful memento to take home. The town itself, along with this captivating store, is brimming with irresistible charm.

It comes with a heavy heart saying this.I been visiting Port Gamble for 30+ years as of next year.I remember when it was half the size and I would routinely with my brother or friends go up to the museum above and look out at the mill or the displays such as the giant spider crab, the Sand Devil, I remember looking out in 1995 at the mill when it caught fire as a child with my friend watching from the museum window.I remember lots of things, all because it was a fun place to visit year round. I took my first long distance solo drive there with my dogs, I shown my coworkers the town, I even taken my girlfriend there multiple times. Because I loved going there and sharing a piece of my life growing up in a world where that is slowly shrinking.Sadly today is the day I'll keep it at 29 years because despite the mean mugging outside that set the tone, or being forced to move while walking by a Tesla owner. The final straw was an employee didn't just shove me aside running through but acted like as if we were not there when we were ready to order.I felt claustrophobic in the store too going in-out as it was a little too close together.Additionally the crowd it attracts isn't the crowd I grew up with which held kindness and respect but angry aggressive people.I know things won't change, and the 1990s and early 00s Port Gamble general store is just a fading memory.I felt horribly disrespected and hurt a little and while I'm not a big name like Wentworth or Perser or a known face. The fact I came here for 29 years full of memories.I feel this isn't the kind of place for me or my friends and family to go to in the future, through the mistreatment I felt I won't return any time in the future.

Such a cute store, with a large shell collection on the second floor. Dogs are also allowed inside (just not in the cafe area). The proprietors are also very welcoming and kind. A very cool place to stop and look around.

Such a charming gift shop with lots of unique gift items and atmosphere. The second floor is a sea shell museum with cute seating areas by the windows looking over water. Will have to come back in the summer when it s nice and sunny out.

We had SO MUCH FUN at this beautiful hidden jem. Lovely gifts, home items, souvenirs and clothing for sale. Very friendly staff who told us about the seashell museum located upstairs! To top it all off, we had an absolutely delicious soup and sandwich at the cafe located in the back. This stop was totally by accident and ended up being the highlight of our weekend in Washington.

Shell museum, ice cream, coffee, souvenirs, what more could you ask for? This store has lots of cute housewares. Kids area had plenty to keep them occupied while I snuck to the back for ice cream. Just next door is a house with interesting architecture. The whole town is such a wonderful escape
