The audacity of this "private beach" is unmatched. It costs $8/person and even $8/pet. Almost $50 to walk on the beach for a family of 4 with 2 dogs? Crescent Beach should be public land. All the Day Pass includes is bathrooms and "An escape from a crowded surf," so the owners are explicit about how the thing you're paying for is to exclude most folks who can't afford it. Pretty revolting attitude. Don't support this resort, which seeks to exploit nature without any respect for the local community that would also like to walk on the beach.

My spouse and I visit Crescent Beach resort several times per year as our base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula. This visit, Ariana was extremely pleasant and helpful given some facility challenges which were resolved. This is one of our happy places for vacationing and always a pleasant experience, close to home, yet like being at the Pacific Ocean along the straits. Gorgeous beach for hiking and amazing sunsets. Also the restroom and shower facilities are immaculate!

Requested the managers to have the owners take care of an issue with the clothes washers with negative responses. They closed the laundry room the next day and never opened it for our entire stay.We own several investment properties and having good working appliances for our customers and client's that give us literally thousands of dollars every week is top priority.

We just spent two nights there with our 36 foot motor coach. its a little tight turning in so be prepared to take all of the road and swing wide if approaching from the west. They had a problem with the water supply when we were there. I broken pipe I think. For us this was not an issue as we have 70 gallons on board. I did appreciate that they were very thoughtful and called to remind us that they water was still not fixed and to fill up prior to arrival.Beautiful place right on the beach! We are planning to go back soon!

Had a great week stay in the partial hook up part of the park. Check in was easy the site was as advertised. Bathrooms were always clean. The beach is fantastic, generally no more than 10 people out there when I d go. My only problem and it s none of the parks fault, I can t speak for the other spots but I was in 39 and by a river and the mosquitoes were terrible there off and on in the day. I bought some bug candles at the rv park shop and that helped. Still all around great experience staying here. I had 2 bars of T-Mobile 4g and was able to work from laptop.Nearby activities: Beach is right across the street and a great time.

Crescent beach Campground was a great experience! My girlfriend and I stayed one night and wished we booked for the whole weekend. We camped outside in our tent and were very close to the beach, you can hear the waves when you are going to bed and when you wake up! We also saw lots of deer roaming around which was cool. The staff are very friendly and helpful, we arrived after close and had a late check in but everything went so smoothly! We purchased bundles of wood and they were placed at our campsite upon arrival. The camp sites and facilities are very clean! The beach is stunningly beautiful, you can see vancouver island from the shore. The tide pools are very cool to check out right at Tongue point which is east of the campgrounds, I looked up the tide times and went out at low tide to see the animals.Beware of the tide times since some points are not accessible once the tide comes in!We are looking forward to booking at Crescent Beach campground very soon.

This place was great. The area itself is great to be across the street from the beach with free access. Surfing, SUPing or beach play is easy. They have potable water and toilets. They have a little office with everything you need, especially much needed keurig coffee machine for when your kids wake up at dawn! If you want beach experience, this place beats the salt creek campground. Great for families.

The location is pretty good for navigating your way through the national park and the beach across the street is nice. I was however taken back by the price of a camping spot plus an additional charge of 8$ per dog per night. I ve NEVER been charged for a dog at a campground. There is also no cell service or WiFi in most of the tent campground. I feel like this place is greedy $$. Also- for the price we paid I thought the restrooms and portapotty would have been better maintained. The portapotty was completely full to the seat. Over all the spot is nice and campsite was clean but I don t plan to ever return to this campground.

Sand, sand, and more sand! This is not a rocky beach. Great for playing and relaxing. However, even at very low tide there is nothing but more sand so beachcombing isn't very productive but it sure is beautiful. The nearby Salt Creek Park does have a rocky beach though for low tide exploration.Be prepared for strong winds if you're tent camping. We found its not easy to erect a large tent in gale force winds...check the forecast even in sunny days.

It is a private beach. Not bad location. It is on the pricey side. $68.00 a night. Cannot flush your black tanks and wifi sucks. Been to many RV parks, first time come across you have to pay to take a shower. $1.75 for 6 minutes.

This was a one-night stop for us on our way to Port Townsend - I wish we had spent more time here. A bit off the beaten path, but this makes it quiet and peaceful. We had a back-in site with very easy in and out for our 38' Fifth Wheel. Staff was very helpful and even placed our friends in the site right next to us. The beach was just a short walk away and if you go, you have to stop by the Joyce Grocery and Fuel Store just by the turn on the road to the park - it is amazing. And they had the best Diesel prices in the area ... just beware of the canopy which is 13'1" ... out rig is 13'8" ... so we parked and then came back for fuel. I would definitely come here and stay longer.

We absolutely LOVE this place. Our hosts, Bud and Rose, and Aaron and Elizabeth were fantastic. I checked in with a broken leg and they stopped by to check on me and take my garbage. Sweetest people, amazing views, right on the beach. The sound of crashing waves as eagles soar above and hang out in the trees,,,spectacular. Laundry room and super clean bathrooms are a plus. No highway traffic. Just peaceful.

We stayed for 4 nights and we will come back! The private beach is beautiful. The hosts/owners were so helpful and kind. The only downside was the mosquitoes. They were intense at first but the park store carried bug spray and citronella candles. The staff even came to our site and sprayed something which really helped. The laundry room was the cleanest I ve ever seen in a rv park!

Stayed in Sequim decided to visit Tongue Point because I heard they have good tide pools. Went at low tide. The trail was at the very end of a camping area. There were stairs that went down to a rock. Most older folk didn't go onto the rock to climb down to the water. We didn't see any tide pools but the low tide wasn't super low when we went. Some people did climb down the rock and onto the little beach but they didn't have far to go. There are a lot of rocks rising above sea level but we did not sea any sea creatures. We did see a super large cruise ship in the Strait. It was still beautiful!!

Private access to one of the most spectacular places in the world. I almost don't want to write a review because I would love this to stay a hidden gem, but the camp hosts deserve recognition. Curt and Penny went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable, which included coming out late in the evening to hook my camper up to their power when my auxiliary battery died, saving my food and my trip. It's a little more expensive than surrounding campgrounds but you get what you pay for it and it's worth every penny. Be prepared for thick mosquitos and I recommend hiking up to the salt Creek recreation area during low tide to explore tide pools and beautiful rock formations. I can't wait to go back!

We stayed 2 weeks here. At time of review FHU is $60/night, and buy 6 get the 7th night free. All of the staff is extremely friendly. The beach is 100ft from the park. They have fire pits at each site. There is a laundry room ($1.50 per load for washer or dryer) Showers were $1 for 6 minutes. It's a 20 minute drive into Port Angeles, 30 minutes to Walmart.Starlink works excellent. Verizon has 1 bar of service, and T-mobile has no service.A big piece of advice for those traveling with an RV of any length. If you are coming from the Ocean, stay on Hwy 101 all the way until you reach Hwy 112. Our RV specific GPS took onto E Beach Rd on the north side of Crescent Lake (last 2 pictures) and it's a narrow 1.5 lane rd for over 5 miles. The route was 10 miles shorter, but took 15 minutes longer than if we would have stayed on 101 the whole way.

Really cool beach but charging $8 per person and per dog just for beach access is a bit much. Kind of contradicts their sign which says something like gaze upon God s handiwork. Only if you pay, otherwise god wants you to gaze somewhere else.

This place is great! The location is amazing, a beautiful cove on the ocean looking across to Vancouver Island. It's about 25 minutes drive from Port Angeles. We visited Ozette Lake and Crescent Lake in the Olympic National Park from here, great base to explore the area. The park itself is very well-run. Cleanest bathrooms ever, friendly and helpful staff.

The nice staff here immediately created a great vibe for this place. Every person I interacted with this weekend was great. We were tent camping for the weekend and they gave us recommendations on the best spot. The entire community felt relaxed and respectful. The private beach was such a nice amenity! You can have entire swaths of beach all to yourself. Some of the tent sites just outside of the trees have incredible views of the water too. The shower was warm when I used it in the morning. Great spot, would love to come back again.

Good looking park.We didn't stay or visit, we stopped by and spoke to them and got the info, they also kindly shared local info and spots with us.We would love to come back and stay and get one of the remote sites. The camp is located next to a nice private beach that is owned by the camp and next to a beautiful state park with awesome tidal pools so it would be a perfect place to hit up and have a great place to stay and a lot of stuff to go explore.

To be sincere, I am currently a host here, soy view may be a bit biased. This is one of the most beautiful camping sites I have ever seen. The 1/2 mile of private beach is clean and inviting. We, the hosts do everything we can to keep the beach clean, to have the cleanest restrooms and showers and have a park that is well kept and friendly for our guests.I know there have been negative reviews about keeping our private beach only for our guests. But, that is why it is called a private beach. People pay for the use of it.Some people say our sites are expensive, having been traveling for the last 6 months, I would say that the prices are on par with anyone else. Let's look at the rates for an RV, full hookups and 2 passes for the beach for 50 dollars a day. So 2 passes are 8 bucks each so that leaves the site costing 34 dollars with an incredible view!Don't need to stay the night?Day passes are 8 bucks per person per day (under 3 free). That gives you access to our private beach, bathrooms, showers and our wash station for your boards and wet suits. That is from dawn until 9pm. So when people cross over from the public beach is it fair to our paying guests?I look forward to the summer ahead, the place is amazing and my wife and I are working with fantastic people.

I tent camped for 49$ including tax in mid July. Campsite was very clean and attendants were actively straightening up the area. Attendant in main office overtly friendly and gracious. We stayed in spot 38 which was more private then others, was back enough from beach to block wind and spots included fire pit and picnic table. Water was a short walk and showers and restrooms were a few minute walk. Showers are quarter operated. 1$ for 6 minutes and good hot water and pressure. Walk over to the beach is within 100ft from site. Beach area is nice and plenty of room to roam. West end of beach at far end is private property but there's no issue understanding where that property is.

Some improvements are being made on new power pole hookups and around park. All back in sites and campground is nothing more than average. The private beach which used to be a public beach is the best thing about this place. I grew up as a child on this beach with lots of memories. Lots of mosquitoes due to stagnate water behind sites. Megan and Joseph are one of the couples that work here and are very friendly and helpful, nice young couple. No military, Good Sam, AAA or any discounts either. For as much as you pay a night, the sites could be nicer with gravel or even concrete. Even pets AND children are $8 PER PET AND PER CHILD PER NIGHT. And if you're the only person on the beach walking your dog, you'd better have it on a leash or prepared to get verbally reprimanded another guest informed us. Guess owners think they have a monopoly so have priced it so high. NOT a place to come to regularly because of the high price.

A scenic paradise with a friendly staff but a few minor annoyances. Septic hookup is Really far from tank, so you need three hoses to reach. Spots are not level, so it will take some trial and error to get set. Area is over run with surfers, so just be accepting of that. The access to trails, beauty of the beach and generally good natured surfer crowd make this a great place to stay

We stayed here with our new RV and enjoyed the stay. Right across a street from the beach, this private rv park takes care to keep it private. Day use is permitted, but charges each person $8, even pets. So you know each person is accountable. Facilities were very clean, beach was beautiful. A lot of body boarding, surfers...there were over 50 of them in the water at one point today. Those are gutsy folks, being that its January!Sites are quite close together,no privacy here. But everyone around us was pretty quiet and very respectful.Close to Salt Creek campground... nice to walk over to check it out

Super quiet...love it. road to the park was crazy skinny. It was very cloudy and rainy when we were there so the Wi-Fi was OK. Not great for streaming but they were almost full too. Lots of people probably streaming as well, View was nice. And the beach walks were great. The water was calm so great for paddle boarding. Water spouts were awesome. Got to see 2 Bald eagles, 2 trash pandas eating some carbs, and some sea creatures. It was kind of expensive for 3 adults and 2 babies and one dog.Rv: full hook ups, back in, place to park a second vehicle. A little tight. The customer service was great. Super friendly and they had someone help back us in. So makes up for the tightness. Would probably come again.

Very beautiful beach! Please note: 1) the beach is private so you need a wristband to get in. 2) half of the beach belongs to another owner so please make sure you stay in the line. I spend $71 for one night RV parking, just FYI.
