Absolutely gorgeous RV park. Tucked away on a lovely creek for a peaceful experience. Dave at the office is a hoot & takes pride in maintaining the Rv park. Bathrooms were sparkling clean. The pool was amazing & very refreshing. The game room with pool tables would come in handy if weather was poor. The only slightly negative item was the actual RV sites. They are very close together and could benefit from having a bit of gravel to help level up the holes. But a few leveling blocks did the trick.

This is a nice RV park 15 minutes from Leavenworth, Wa. Dave has been the owner for the past 30 years and couldn't have been nicer. They have a pool and game room. We enjoyed the horse shoes and volleyball. Some of the sites are along a creek which has a nice sound at night. We enjoyed the ability to get to town easily and then leave the crowds and have a quiet camping spot. Lots of great hiking in the area. Would definitely return.

A family owned park by a creek set in a mixed forest of evergreen and deciduous trees with large full hook up sites. The layout, management, the other guests, and the wild turkeys wandering through the park give it a good feel. The pads are natural with a sprinkling of fine gravel. Cell service is poor and the Wifi only works up close to the office. The bathhouse is very dated with concrete floors but is functional and cleaned daily. There is a pool, laundry, playground, volleyball net, horseshoe pits, and a big screen TV in the lobby to watch games, etc.

Great privately owned campground with several large sites. Right on a super cold creek that sounds great, very relaxing. They have a swimming pool, rec room with billiards, foosball, pinball, table tennis, and I think there were some DVDs there as well. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table. Some are full shade some full sun. There are some year round residents but I've never had any interaction with them on the two occasions we've stayed. It's only about 90 miles from home (Tacoma) so it isn't a huge investment in fuel or time to get there. We enjoy staying here and will be returning.Nearby activities: Leavenworth is only a short drive away. WA first Alpine roller coaster just outside Leavenworth, river float activity,Noteworthy details: Make reservations ahead of time, if you need to cancel it modify it's super easy and no fees unlike state parks. I booked my most recent start 7 months ahead and do want about to get my preferred dates so plan week ahead of time.

Great campground, big sites, dog friendly, although people don't follow the leash your dog rules. They let people park 2 and 3 cars deep, row after row which is a huge fire hazard, you will never get out with that many cars in an emergency. They have overflow guest parking but do not enforce it. We had plenty of room for our trailer and slide outs, and a large area for our dogs. The guy who checked us in was really nice and friendly. There are some permanent residents who seriously need to clean up their sites. Looks trashy but they are in their own sectionHighly recommend this place. Fill friendly

Had a wonderful time camping in our rv. Our spot was right next to the river under trees and was shaded from most of the sun so we stayed cool. My son enjoyed the pool, and we all enjoyed the common area with pool tables and a couple retro video games that we played after lights out, since they keep it open all night. We were able to leave or trailer and visit our family in Wenatchee which is the main reason I originally chose this park for our vacation because the other rv parks in Wenatchee required your vehicle to stay with your trailer. Bathrooms were clean and showers were hot. We will definately stay here again.Noteworthy details: It's a quick jaunt to Levenworth or Wenatchee which we did both.

Great campground with friendly staff and fun family activities! We went here on a last minute trip and will definitely be back. My kids had a ton of fun playing in the swimming pool and the game room. They weren't ready to leave when it was time! Dave was awesome and very friendly from our first phone call to reserve the sites, check in, questions we had through our stay and checking out. The camp ground is right on the river and river front sites are beautiful! Our sites backed onto the central field area and we enjoyed having that space to play games and for the kids to run around. The grounds are very well taken care of. Can't wait to go back!

We stay here every year. They have a pool, volleyball court (outside), horseshoes, showers, some games in the main office, books/movies available to borrow. The guy that works there has been there forever and is always very friendly and helpful. You can buy wood and ice on site. They have a couple vending machines with drinks/snacks. There is really only one place close for food/drink but it is within walking distance. They have tent and RV sites and they are always very clean.

Nice place to stay. They keep the grounds clean and in good repair. The pool is really nice on those hot daysThere is a really pretty creek that runs through the back of the park that is fun to explore. The location is convenient if you need something from the store as Leavenworth is only 15 minutes away.

We love this campground. Yes, spots are small but it has an outdoor swimming pool. The owner is very nice and helpful. Some spots are for year round tenants but that doesn't bother us. Laundry facilities and restrooms nice and clean.

Enough room to not feel crowded. The grounds were clean. The pool was clean. The picnic tables for the spaces were in rough condition. Great water, power and sewer hook-ups. We ended up using the laundry facility and the machines worked great. For the price I would certainly stay again, but it is not a fancy or high end resort. There were several RVs that were living there year round and it looked like a trailer park.

My family and I have been coming here for over 23 years now. Dave the owner is always helpful and knowledgeable about things to do in the area. The sounds of the creek lull you to sleep at night. There are 2 sets of bathrooms with showers and the showers in the center of the park are free !! The park, play ground, restrooms and pool are always clean! There is a cute club house on site that has ping pong and pool, dvd's you can borrow during your stay and ice is available as well. Great place to stay and I will continue to come here for many years to come..

This is a wonderful campground. The grounds and facilities are kept very clean. The pool is great to cool off in and play. But our favorite part is the host/manager Dave. This man is a kind hearted gentle soul. He always has a smile on his face and a cheerful word to all. We are definitely going to return and spend time here. If you stop in please tell Dave of the great reviews he receives as he does not get on the internet. It will brighten his day to know people care.

Date: Late May 2021A real nice place to come & stay a while. The gentleman at the front desk was so nice & helpful. The park itself is perfectly set in trees w/ a forest. There are some long-term folks in the way back, near the river - but most seemed to be vacationers passing through for a while. Our spot:Was a back in, size. and had a picnic tableThe RV spot was level & on dirtHooks ups were easily accessible / maintained okThe Internet signal was goodWe stayed for 4 nights

Blu-Shastin RV Park is extraordinary.... Not only because it is a 12-acre RV campground nestled in the midst of the Cascade Mountain Range, just 15 minutes from the international tourist destination of Leavenworth, WA... Not only because it has a sparkling swimming pool next to its clubhouse AND a creek that runs along the property...The place is most extraordinary because of the owner/manager, Dave Haase, who makes the place just as enjoyable and refreshing as all the natural beauty and amenities of the property. We first visited here when my tween & teen were just toddlers on the lawns at Blu-Shastin RV Park many summers ago, and our stays are an annual July tradition ever since.Dave, as all pleasantly discover after meeting him for the first time, is as easy going as a summer breeze on a carefree Saturday afternoon. His quick smile warms the room, and welcomes all like they alone are the good friends he's been awaiting. As I sat alone in his old time clubhouse, tapping these observations into my smartphone, he actually walked over between customers, just to chat...."Everything OK?" he asked, with a gentle smile while pointing two thumbs up toward me...I put down the phone, and didn't tell him I was noting the truly unique beauty of his establishment and his management style... He just wanted to be sure I was having a good time at his place. Our conversation turned to something he never talks about: himself, and only because of my persistent questions. Turns out he spent many years working in the Caribbean, before owning eight other campgrounds, and then he settled on buying Blu-Shastin. That was some 25 years ago.Yep, all is well here.... thanks to this beautiful location, and Dave's Caribbean-style way. Dave's way and kindness were particularly appreciated.Blu-Shastin RV Park has wonderful amenities including: swimming pool volleyball court horseshoe pits small children's play area 24-hour clubhouse including use of.... Ping pong table Two billiards tables Widescreen TVOther amenities: Library of DVDs for rent at $2/night Small collection of free books Free WIFI at the clubhouse and less than strong signal at the pool (No WIFI at most campsites, a blessing in disguise for those of us trying to escape the same old routines at home and focus on family time or retreat away from bad news of the day.)Also, an important tip for fellow fans of caffeinated beverages...Although there is no restaurant or cafe on site at Blu-Shastin RV Park, we enjoyed a 4-minute stroll up the road to an eatery/coffeehouse named "97 Rock House". The establishment offers free WIFI.In addition to the coffee menu, 97 Rock House offers hot breakfast and lunch items, seat-yourself relaxation on the lodge-like covered deck, and seating amongst eight picnic tables in the landscaped "backyard".The Bavarian-style village of Leavenworth is a 15-minute drive away. Leavenworth's main street (which has always provided streetside parking to its most popular restaurants and retail shops) is blocked off every weekend during Summer for the length of about three city blocks. Picnic tables during weekends are placed sporadically in the middle of the pedestrian-only thoroghfare. The blocked off area may worsen an already difficult parking situation, but it does provide a completely relaxing, streetfair-like experience of Leavenworth's previously car-choked business district.

We spent a week at Blu Shastin in June. We couldn't have asked for a better campground/RV park! The setting is gorgeous and Dave makes guests feel so welcome. Family oriented while still being peaceful. Our 13 y.o. grandson loved the pool and rec room. We loved the large wooded campsites and having evening campfires. In close proximity to lots of activities including whitewater rafting, ziplining, trail riding, hiking, and exploring the Bavarian themed village of Leavenworth. Highly recommended!

This place is AMAZING. Large sites, the rushing water from the river makes for amazing sleep. The pool is well maintained as is the game room. The owner Dave us helpful and kind. A true gem. We will be back the next time we go to Leavenworth. Only a 12 mile drive to down town. Great rates too.

We come here every summer with our church and it has to be one of my favorite campgrounds of all time. Every site has electricity and water, the grass is green, they have a common area where you can put your tent and it's all grass plus they have a creek that runs through the south side of the park and it is so refreshing. Game Room plus an outdoor pool and horseshoes and volleyball is great!

We are going to stay through the winter again, #2. Love the summers on Peshastin Creek. The winter's are Snowy and we do have to dig out occasionally, but this park suits our needs. Beautiful, just wish weekender's would educate themselves a little about rivers, parks and forest rules.

This RV park is in a beautiful area a creek is right next to it and has a pool and many other fun things to do. The staff is friendly and the restrooms are maintained as well and there's paths to go hiking or bicycling on. The pool does not have a life guard on duty though so make sure you are a good swimmer and if you have kids it's best to bring a life jacket. A good spot to have a vacation at I'd recommend Blue-Shastin 5/5.

Just stayed here for 4 nights. Beautiful forest campground. Very clean and well maintained. We had no internet at our site but they do in the greatroom which also offered a large screen tv, books, movies, pool table, foosball and ping pong. Outside a really nice pool, volleyball, large grass areas and trails along the river. Laundry and showers very clean.Great place to unplug and relax. The owner was really nice and we really enjoyed our stay.

It's beautiful, peaceful and easily accessible. Mgmt is super friendly. I love the sound of the rushing water and our trailer backs up to the creek so we have an awesome view. Just a short drive to Leavenworth. I definitely will come here again.

I've stayed here several times with a large group of friends for Oktoberfest, in sites down along the river. Super friendly owners run a first-rate show. Sites are well-maintained and clean, and reasonably priced. No one seems to mind if we're standing by our campfire at midnight (quietly of course...). A little ways from Leavenworth, but much more available than the closer in places. Blu-Shastin is a pretty RV park, and I've got my reservations for this year again...

Greatest place to camp it's close for us for a quick getaway. The pool is great, the clubhouse is awesome with TV, pingpong 2 pool tables, pinball machine, badmitten, horseshoes, lil playground area. Cleanest bathrooms and showers I've ever seen in a campground. Laundry facilities. The spots are a lil tight, especially on the river. The owner Dave is the best.... Firewood and Ice available for purchase at the office!!

Don't camp here if you value your life!! Camped here at the end of June 2021 and the permanent resident next to us pointed a semi automatic gun at us for no reason. We ran up to the office and told the owner what happened (to warn him in case something happened after we left and because we did not have cell service) and we told him we were leaving because we were very afraid. He said he was calling the cops immediately. A sheriff from Chelan county showed up and talked to the guy who pointed the gun at us and to some other man who was camping in the park down the road from us. Then he got in his car and left. The sheriff never spoke to us and he was literally standing in front of our truck as we were frantically packing up to leave. I was later told that the call was for a drunk man possibly with a gun. We did not know and never said that he was drunk and we made it clear that he had a gun and pointed it at us. So, extremely disappointing if the owner did call the cops for a drunk resident possibly with a gun instead of resident pointed gun at campers next to him. When we finallly got in touch with the sheriff the following week, I did ask: Even if the call was for a drunk man possibly with a gun, wouldn't it make sense for you to question the people camping right next to him?? Again, if you value your life, you will want to skip this place.
