Great hotel with a great view! Stayed here 2.5 weeks for work in the area. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The automatic night lights in the bathroom are a cool touch, however, of the three rooms I stayed in, only one of the auto-nightlights was working. However, rooms were clean and had everything I needed. Definitely worth the stay.Walkability: There's a great walking path next to docks right in front of the hotel.Food & drinks: The continental breakfast was ok. Definitely not the best I've had. It starts at 6:30 AM.There's also a gas station convenice store right next door if you need a quick snack, or a bakery a little down the street with some good food.

Rooms we're ok. They charged us over $70 more than what we called and made the reservation for even though at the time of reservation we specifically stated having a service dog with us thus the reason for them Making sure we we're on the ground floor. We spent over $250 for 1 night and there so called breakfast cold bagels with butter hard boiled egg and dry cereals

It's good but not great. Over priced. Used to be 4 star hotel.... now a 3. It's getting old and they aren't keeping up. Coffee machines are old and well used, sink fixtures have huge buildup of hard water deposits .... they don't clean.....towels are old.... getting brownish. Fireplace fan doesn't work.....fridge doesn't really get cold.... and hallway carpet has stains that feel like a motel 6 etc etc..... but they still charge 5 star rates.

Hotel has great view with balcony.Room was spacious with walk- in shower. View was phenomenal.Staff is extremely friendly. Boat dock is directly behind the hotel, bring your boat, the fishing sounds great. Complimentary breakfast leaves abit to be desired, but there is a restaurant next door.

Let me just start off by saying that the hotel itself was amazing. Incredible view incredible room and a great little town. The reason for the two stars is that it wasn t mentioned to me when I booked the room the morning of, that there would be NO WATER in the hotel from 6pm to 2am .like, no shower no bathroom as a commercial driver I was short in hours and was relying on this place for being over $200/night!!!!!!!!!When I expressed my displeasure with the receptionist, all I got was attitude and not a mention of a discount. I also was unable to cancel my reservation. It would be awesome if somebody from management reached out and made this right, I really like the town and hope to stay there moving forward as I travel to the area once a week. I would be more than happy to give this place 10 stars (I know the Max is 5 )

Howard's has a beautiful view of Columbia River room has a little balcony that you can see the river. It is a very clean nice place. The bed was a little hard but other than that the Linens are very clean and fresh. We brought our dog had to pay an extra $25. Was put in the dog section. There were other dogs we heard barking occasionally. The doors here from other rooms are very noisy. Check-in took a long time. They ran out of paper, and she had to go somewhere out of the building to get more. She did not get the right kind of paper so after we got settled in our room she came knocking on the door and we had to go back to check-in to sign more forms. You would think they would make sure they had a stack of paper to be prepared!

Great room with a view for a reasonable price. The room was clean but lacked in the bathroom area.Rooms: King suit comes with a desk and chair, plus a lounge chair and foot stool.Walkability: Small convince atore next door and a few small cafes, bar, and other merchants near by.Food & drinks: Sweet River Bakery within walking distance has sandwiches, pizza, beer, and wine along with their rolls and pastries.Noteworthy details: Two to three docks on the waterside of the hotel for access to docking boats and fishing opportunities.

Room is comfortable and clean...regrettably the local restaurant that was next door apparently did not survive...but the local bakery also serves some hand tossed pizza.Walkability: Central to most of the townNoteworthy details: Breakfast included

This is a nice comfortable, quiet room with an amazing view of the river. A few steps away are a restaurant and bar, and also a convenience/liquor store. This gives you the option to get a bottle of wine and snacks to enjoy out on your balcony.

I/we have stayed at Howard s probably a half dozen times at least. We especially like the fact that they are dog friendly! The rooms are large and well furnished. The restaurant next door is splendid. To a person, everyone we have dealt with has been friendly and efficient. The breakfasts are icing on the cake! We have a cabin up in the hills east of Brewster, but manage to find an excuse to stay here at least once a year. You will not be disappointed. We travel quite a bit, and have stayed in a lot of expensive places, but the Lakeshore Inn is as nice as you could ask for.

The view from our room (and every room, I believe) is so beautiful I can t look away. Close enough to nearby attractions so it s a great location. However, WiFi is very weak making our stay inconvenient. Also no cell service (we have Verizon and T-Mobile) which again, makes it very inconvenient since we can t use WiFi in lieu of cell service. Sometimes emergencies come up where WiFi service is needed and the hotel did nothing to try to remedy the situation. The rooms are nice with good views though.

This hotel was incredible. Fireplace and a room overlooking the water. I woke up to sunshine and smiles. The restaurant next door serves some AMAZING breakfast as well. I want to bring the family here sometime.I would definitely recommend this place, good little vacation spot for sure

Actually I was just getting gas this time, but we've stayed there a lot. It is dog friendly, has electric fireplaces in the rooms and a comfortable bed. View of the river is lovely.

Lack of professionalism. When we got to the room we inspected the beds first. Three different kind of bugs on a pillow, one spider and two other very strange bugs crawling on the wall. Decided to check out and the gal at the front desk did not know how to do a refund. There were three men working outside. One came in and was drunk said he was the manager but in the end he was the manager of the restaurant and gas station next-door. The gal at the front desk called the manager on our demand. At that point things got really goofy (to many details to list) and could not get a refund. The drunk man disappeared. the manager on the phone told the desk clerk that she would be in at 7:30 to deal with us. We left, went down the street and got a room. Came back at 7:30. The Manager did not show up till nine. Delaying our trip by 1 hour. This was by far the most miserable, unprofessional experience we have ever experienced at any business. I would HIGHLY recommend Lake Pateros Motor in next-door. Clean and friendly.

Clean, comfy rooms with a great view out the balcony. Breakfast was fresh fruit and other small al la carte items. Not intended for the big breakfast eater. Beds were comfy. Parking was across the street, at least for our room, sonyour exposed to the elements until you arrive.

The service was very good. The food was some of the worst Food I've eaten in a restaurant in my memory. The the bacon was raw, I ordered no Dairy and got a salad full of cheese, the lettuce was soggy watery and limp. I walked away hungry. The server replaced the sandwich which was better but the salad was horrible two times. I do not recommend.

Air conditioning thermostat will go no lower than 70. TV channels are mostly shopping channels. No plugin on the lamp at the bed. Refrigerator has no freezer. Very clean though. Nice just very retstricted on the amenities.

I didnt actually stay at the hotel so this review is only about front desk expierence. First we had to wait on staff and when we inquired about getting rooms for 4 nights I was blown away when they wanted to charge $159.99 a night. With Covid there area is dead and the only nice thing is the location by the lake. We were working atva local school but had to find lodging else where.
