I have been to quite a few bars in the middle of nowhere.. the one's that you find that time has not moved for them in decades. This is one of those, and normally I find the food to very tasty and the drinks to be strong. They definitely had the strong drinks but the food was not good in the slightest. Maybe it was not best to order a wrap at a bar.. but if it is on the menu it should be edible.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner during a long weekend getaway. It was Saturday night and the place was pretty busy. I could see 3-4 wait staff on hand, but for some reason, our waitress (the bartender) did not have the time for anyone. It was a very "I'm busy, what do you want?" attitude. Seemingly annoyed she would ask how things were, but by the time e could answer, she was around the corner. That said, the food was great! It is bar food for sure, but the flavor and execution were on point. The beer was cold and frothy. I have no complaints whatsoever. It's a locals bar. There are a few families (kids allowed before 10) and table if friends in for the weekend, but this little dive is definitely aimed toward the locals.

I really digged this joint, but the food and service has gone downhill since the last time I was there. Took a long time to get my order, but that's kind of understood as it was lightly busy, but after I finally received my food, I heard from a waitress talking to another tale that the order shouldn't take to long, as there weren't many tickets in, so that theory was busted. Their fries are crinkle cut now, and the chicken seemed undercooked

It's a dive bar in Packwood. I got the Karl, a buffalo chicken sandwich and it was decent. The fries were great. Get a beer, not lemonade. I would eat here again.

Quick gas station quality food for 3x the price. We stopped here to eat after a long day at Mt Rainier National Park, hoping for some nice hearty food. The server greeted us in about 5 seconds and walked away as I was asking a question. When we did place our orders, it was about 20 seconds and we were never given a chance to expand our order or modify it (which I was hoping to do). The order arrived very quickly which was nice but the food was not good. My husband ordered a burger and I got a chicken sandwich. The burger was pretty sad and the chicken was processed with limp bacon. We both left feeling underwhelmed and with unsettled stomaches.

Place is awesome! Wife and I had the same thing, 8oz steak with baked potato and salad. Both of our steaks were absolutely done perfectly! Best steak and baked potato we've had in awhile. Our server was "on the spot" always! Excellent service! We will definitely be back here without a doubt. The only reason I gave atmosphere a 4 star...just a little loud for me, but that's just me. This place rocks!!!!

Typical bar atmosphere, lots of people, it seemed to be a pretty popular spot for a Friday night. The food was piping hot, the fries were crispy, the beer was super cold. All in all this was a great spot to kick it for a few hours before we went back to our cabin. We ended up outside in their gigantic covered beer garden and chit chatted with an owner/manager and she was very friendly and helpful and even gave us some great recommendations for things to do and places to see before we head home. I really liked it here. If I am ever up here again I will definitely stop by.

Fantastic food and great service. I came in for lunch around noon and was one of a handful of people. The bartender/waitress was very friendly and attentive. I had the 1/2 lb Spruce burger with beer battered fries and was very satisfied. The fries were crispy and perfectly cooked. The burger was juicy and had fantastic flavor.

The atmosphere is that of a typical bar & grill. Other food establishments in town were closed and management should have had more wait staff on shift because it was quite busy. Menu had a fair amount of choices for all palates. Grandkids tried the Mac & Cheese which was a nice portion served with Tater Tots. My wife and I shared a Big Foot. It's an awesome burger.

Food is always good. Bartenders & servers are always attentive & polite. But during our last visit we had an employee come in demanding we move our truck & trailer. Before we had a chance to do so we could hear her in the back saying she was calling a tow truck. Very unfriendly & uncommidating for a large rig. BTW we asked everyone around if we were OK where we were & all neighbors said we were good.

The Blue Spruce had me at hello...one of the most eclectic locations I've been to in a long time. Culinary tradition meets culinary progressive...#MGD&BuglesRemember the one that got away? Don't let Blue Spruce be another!

Thanksgiving weekend at the local bar was hoppin. The bartender was friendly and kind enough she counted out 200 pull tabs for us during her rush. Had the Reuben and jalapeno burger. Good drinks.

Yeah Buddy. Great burgers and drinks await. Try the 1 POUND burger -- in one patty, made in-house. NOT a frozen patty. Real fries too. This is only half of the ONE POUNDER.Best place in town to hear all the local news. The kind that never makes newspaper. Tee hee hee.
