This was my first experience at Terry's Automotive. I love the place and I will not take my car anywhere else. There very honest. I took my vehicle in for repairs that had been suggested by another automotive repair and Terry's told me I didn't need to do the job. And didn't even charge me for the inspection thank you

Very disappointed .(terrys automotive charged me full price) Left with alignment not finished and worse then before arriving ,due to mechanic stating antifreeze leak was getting him wet so when fixed they would finish job. Pretty strange, considering ive personally layed under the rig every afternoon installing steering stabilizer and frame supports with no leak. So i Inspected truck for leak and had another shop inspect with zero leaks found. mind you not this shop that I had inspect there work, just went threw entire truck top to bottom prior,due to its my 16 year olds new rig. Called and informed Terry's automotive of updated info and decided I don't feel comfortable with continuing business with this outfit. I'm out the money they charged me for unfinished work plus other shops inspection fee due to Terry'sautomotive unprofessional requests. . If you cant distinguish the smell of water on a rainy day from the sweet-smell of antifreeze you might want to get another career. I run a bbb certified business named hanks construction services due to being honest and trustworthy. this review is not a attack .it is to inform of my personal experience with Terry's automotive and I'd look elsewhere for you car needs.

They've earned my complete trust and respect and have been pampering my 2010 Dodge Charger RT since first taking it in for much needed care years ago. My Charger is reliable and never let's me down because they maintain it like its theirs, are real pros, don't take short cuts and perform quality work. I purchased a low mileage 2015 RAM 1500 Hemi Sport in December and it got it's 75,000 mile service at Terry's this wrek with an end to end used car inspection. I can count on them to help me keep my car and truck running their best! Make this professional team at Terry's your vehicle maintenance home.

All staff have been extremely helpful and polite. Having to do an after-hours pickup isn t always easy and usually comes with additional hassles, but not here! Thank you Terry s Auto Team!!!

Just moved recently to Washington so I needed a reliable auto shop. Billy and his team have great customer communication. Told me I didn't need brakes. I had 60% wear left. He said it was the rotors are rusted a little from sitting and waiting to get into The Auto Body Shop. I definitely will be using this shop again. Thanks again.

I have them work on our smaller trucks now. They were able to troubleshoot and repair what other shops couldn't. The price is reasonable and the turnaround is good highly recommend Terry's automotive

I've been going to Terry's Automotive for over 5 years now. I trust them with my vehicles. They do a great job and if there's ever an issue, they will make it right. Don't hesitate to give them a call.

On recommendation of a mechanically illiterate friend, I took my Mazda in to have a diagnostic done on oil consumption issue since I was hoping to save some time and pay someone else to do the work - specifically asked them to do a compression/leakdown test and quote PCV valve replacement, rings and PCV failure are known issues on this car. They did neither, and just said my oil filter housing was leaking. I doubt they even opened my hood, since I had converted to a spin on filter from a later model year and no longer had a housing at all. Estimate for the repair was astronomical and included small things that didn't need changing, like battery, wipers, brake pads (had just done pads, others were functional). Additionally, they unlocked my glove box for some reason, I don't have wheel locks they need a key for or anything, so the only reason I could think of was that I left an empty RX bottle in the cupholder and they were hoping to find a full one maybe.I've had good luck with other mechanics in town, e.g. Autohaus, but this was shockingly bad. At Terry's I paid $80 to have someone rifle through my car and move my seat and nothing else.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

We were referred to Terry s a few years ago by a friend when we needed work done on our car and wanted somewhere honest and reliable. We have continued going back ever since. They have great customer service and are always super friendly. They always try to work with our schedule to get our cars fixed fast even when they have a full schedule. They are thorough and great about giving us all the information and options and even take the time to teach us about what is going on and how to take care of our cars. We feel confident that we are getting a good deal and that are cars are being fixed properly! We love them so much we even go here for oil changes and to get new tires/ get flats fixed! They are a great local company and we appreciate all they do and we definitely recommend them!

I took my older Audi in for spark plugs and a new coolant tank, they were incredibly nice and professional! They made sure to communicate with me everything that was going on, had my car finished in a timely manner and when I had an issue after leaving with my coolant take they immediately sent a tech back out to fix it (They didn't mess anything up, it was over the max line and they suctioned out the extra coolant) and told me not to hesitate bringing it back if there was further issues. I have brought my cars here since 1997. They have always done good work, haven't pushed work that wasn't needed and have worked with me to prioritize repairs when I was not able to afford to do everything at once. Their repair costs are less than the dealer, and even though there are less expensive shops, I will keep coming here. I trust them to do what is needed correctly. In addition, everyone is friendly and willing to explain about what repairs are needed and why.

Would definitely not go here again.. wasted my time.. told me I needed 2k worth of work when really I only had a bent tie rod.. I ended up doing the work for less elsewhere and the mechanic called me in and showed me clearly the struts were not bent... Basically charged almost 100 dollars for them to lie to me and clear a change oil light.. NEVER AGAIN.

I ve been taking my cars to Terry s for 35 years. I love their service folks. They keep great records on my cars. They go out of their way to be helpful. I took my car there this week and listened to the service specialist talking to a customer on the phone. He explained what he thought needed to be done, things that were recommended but didn t actually need to be done, and how things could be worked out best for the customer. I thought to myself, If you want to know about how a place does business, just listen to how they talk to their other customers. Terry s has never steered me wrong and never given me a reason to go anywhere else. And no, I have no personal relationships with them. They are just that good.

I wanted to thank you for helping me with my vehicle! It wasn't starting and I could not figure out why. I towed it to Terry's after multiple people recommended the shop and they not only figured out the problem quickly but they fixed it in less then a day. The cost was way less then I was expecting. Every single person that I spoke to was super nice, helpful and understanding. I will definitely be using them in the future for all of my mechanical needs. I cant say this enough. Top notch place to bring your car in for second opinion or get it fixed! The staff are very friendly. We had a concern with the "crack capsule" on the timing belt according to a dealership when we took in it for services. The services itself already costed us so much then they told us another astronomical amount to get this new issue fixs. We decided to bring it to Terry's for second opinion and they told us there was no crack found. They could have easily said there was one but their honesty saved us so much money! I will definitely be giving them by business from now on! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!

I love Terry's. They've been my go-to for all things vehicle since I've been an adult and my family has used them for years before that.They are SO friendly, clear and upfront. They are super thorough and always call me for an update on what exactly needs work before they do anything extra they find.They are the kind of place you trust. Their communication from under the hood to the front desk is impressive. They will always do their best to solve any problems and do a thorough job.I'd use specific stories, but I've got so many. From severed break lines, mysterious clunking, various check engine lights to oil changes. I trust them so much, I use to come to them on my visits back home from college on the other side of the state.Don't hesitate for their help, call them!

Quote, vehicle inspection, services, and courtesy transportation were all timely and reliable. I tend to do a lot of research and ask a ton of questions and each person I spoke with was patient and did their best to ensure that my concerns were acknowledged. While they had my vehicle for servicing (shocks, struts, oil change, and a exterior floorboard patch) they communicated with me about all changes and were up front about costs. I knew exactly what I would be paying before the service was even provided. I'm new to the area and after receiving such great service I'm looking forward to having Terry's Automotive there to help with our vehicle servicing needs. Thank you!

I'm so pleased with Terry's Automotive Group! After moving to the area I had only been going to the dealership because I wasn't sure who to trust, but after one too many awful experiences at the dealership I tried here and couldn't be happier. Everyone is so nice and they worked me in the very next morning. I was pleasantly surprised at the prices, also much cheaper than the dealership. They did a thorough check of my entire vehicle for $45 and couldn't find anything wrong so they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. I feel like I found a mechanic I can trust. They also have a free shuttle to get you home and back to the shop if you need. Don't wait to have an awful dealership experience, just come here!

I took my 1998 Honda to Terry's Automotive on the recommendation of a family friend. Not knowing what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised with the level of service I received. They did a great job repairing my car (which had a blown head gasket), and also took the time to replace a blown-out tire and supply me with a new spare which had been flat - something they didn't have to do, but which saved me the time and hassle of doing it after I got my engine fixed. I received a thorough explanation of the work that had been done, and they did not do unnecessary work nor overcharge. I found their prices to be reasonable. This shop has a high level of integrity, they are knowledgeable and competent when it comes to auto repair, and everyone I dealt with was great. I won't hesitate to return when my car needs further work, and I recommend them to anyone with automotive issues.

I needed my headlight replaced. I called another shop who quoted me almost $80 to do it, even when I already had the part! I called Terry's and Chris replaced it for me at no cost - which was a total surprise to me. He was quick, efficient, and so polite. I am so grateful for the wonderful staff here, they have always been so kind. I'd give 20 stars if I could. Will definitely come back here if my car needs anything else.

They have always treated me well.Highly recommended. Once they did a repair and it didn't fix it (ended up being a factory replacement issue) and they reimbursed me fully for all the work they did! They've never told me I needed something that wasn't really needed. And they have always been quick and communicate. They do have a courtesy van, too, to give you a ride when they repair your vehicle and will come pick you up when it's done.

I wanted to install a lift kit on my Honda Element and knew I would need to get an alignment after, before ordering the kit I called Terry's to ask if they would do an alignment on an aftermarket lift kit (they do, for a slightly higher rate). While I was on the phone I also asked if they had any horror stories from people coming in with self-installed lift kits and they gave me a ton of great information about things to look out for. I really appreciated that they took the time to have that conversation with me.I installed the lift kit myself and scheduled a wheel alignment with Terry's once I had it finished. I was able to get an appointment a week out, I dropped the car off in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. They charged me exactly what they had quoted me ($117), were friendly, professional, and best of all they did a great job on the alignment.I love finding a local business like this, I will definitely be coming back in the future!

So happy with the prices, good customer service, the timeliness and quality of their work. Had a timing belt/water pump replacement pkg done for my 2004 Mazda Miata.I highly recommend this business!

Terry's does superb work. After having poor experiences with mechanics in WA for the last couple of years, I was a bit gun-shy & apprehensive, but Jim is amazing. Not only was I pleased with the brake service, but when my brakes started squealing a couple weeks ago, I called & they got me an appointment to figure things out. Car repairs are always challenging, but Terry's has quality people & they really want to do great work. I have also been impressed by their shuttle service. All around, great experience. I will be going back with my other car next.

I can't thank all the people at Terry's enough for the help and workthey've done for the last 15 years plus we've been going to them. Wehave referred family and friends to them many times and the responseis always extremely positive. I was referred by a friend to Terry s and called today and talk to Pam. She was inconsiderate, rude, unfriendly, and all other adjectives I could think to add to it! Horrible customer service experience I have ever encountered! She finally told me to go to the place I mentioned to her that it has given me a totally different quote! I was just trying to clarify if she had the right part/piece of information needed to assist me but she did not have the ability to listen or to respond appropriately and professionally! If I had a chance to choose 0 star, I would have done it!
