Sooo....I was quoted $650 for a car battery. Ridiculous price right? Was told it needed to be changed sooner then later. I decline and go to O'Reilly auto parts. I have them check the battery before buying the one I needed which was only $213. Battery is great. Alternator is at 100%. Don't bring your car here. They are dishonest with there customers.Edit. The work they did on my daughter's car cost $1300. It's back to making the same noise as before. So besides lying to there customers that can't fix cars. They sure can take your money though. No problem with that!DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR here for service unless you want to get screwed.

The service manager Steve in lacey Washington was extremely sarcastic and condescending twards me and other customers. He didn't want to work on my vehicle and sent me to another Firestone. He said he couldn't do it because of the oversized tires. I had an alignment done 3 times before and no issues. The tires are stock size. When I went to another Firestone they said it doesn't make sense because all there alignment machines are the same and they had no problems aligning it. The service manager yelled at a female customer and said "you can't park in front of my bays!" You need to be smarter then that!" The parking lot was full and she didn't know there was parking in the back. He called the Olympia store and told them why he couldn't do it...but he was only trying to cover himself and collaborate his story. It seems like he didn't want to do my alignment because I paid for the lifetime alignment and wasn't making money. Very unprofessional! He needs to be removed from his position.

Outstanding customer service and repairs. No appointment but accepted anyway and I am so thankful as right before the holidays and new grandson being born same day. No hassles and only appreciation and admiration for the West Oly Firestone!!! Donovan and the crew ROCK !!!! p.s. the baby is beautiful and healthy!

The worst customer service ever. One of my run-flat tires got deflated when I was traveling on I-5 today (Saturday Nov. 25th, 2024). I went to the Firestone store in Olympia, Washington. They claimed that the tire was damaged and that it couldn't be repaired. They didn't have the tire in stock and claimed that nobody in the area had it either. I called the Firestone store in Lacey, WA and the person who answered the phone told me the Firestone store in McChord had one available. She said she would be able to order it and that it would be ready the next day. She also said that the Olympia store should be able to help me, and that it would probably take less time to get there. Since I was in Olympia, that made the most sense. Unfortunately, the employee at the Olympia store, called Donovan, was extremely uncooperative and claimed that I would have to wait several days for the tire to get to Olympia. Luckily, I went to Les Schwab and they were able to help me. It turns out that there was nothing wrong with my tire! Somehow, it got deflated but it didn't have any holes nor was it damaged. I will never figure out why the staff at this Firestone Olympia store were so extremely helpful and why they lied to me about the tire. They saw that I was traveling with my entire family and we were stranded. We needed help and they let us down. What a shame!

The worst auto service experience I ve ever had. I decided to go here because the owners were regulars at my coffee stand so I wanted to support locally. Took my car in for regular services but then I needed an all around check up for a road trip to North Dakota and a summer living there. They replaced all my brakes but I was hearing a lot of noises after so I took it back in and they said everything looked good. Drove to ND there and back. Came back months later after returning from my trip, still experiencing noises, they checked my car again and still didn t see anything wrong. So I took it to my dealership. Turns out I was driving on rear brakes that were on backwards, therefore I was driving thousands of miles with my brakes rubbing on straight metal. Who knows what could have happened! They checked them an additional 2 times after replacing them and never caught such a serious issue. I then told Firestone what happened and they did absolutely NOTHING! I came back 4-6 times trying to talk with a manager or owner and they were never there and never called me to discuss the issues. I paid thousands to get my brakes replaced by them and then fixed elsewhere after the fact and they never compensated me or even apologized. I could have been seriously injured driving that far on faulty brakes for 4 months. I wouldn't trust any service with them, especially if this is how they handle serious issues like this. I fricken love Kenny the manager. I've been swindled in outo repairs before, but never ever here, this shop is amazing. I'm confident in the suggestions and advice, and always happy with their service. I live in Lacey and I drive all the way over to west Olympian for this shop. I tried others after discovering this gem, but it's not worth it. Five stars. Some construction going on, but super fast service, honestly worth a wait if needed.

Ive been using Firestone since i started driving. Been to many great locations. I went in to get an oil change as well as a vehicle maintenance check, alignment, and tire rotate/balance in preparation for my moving and having to drive the vehicle 2000+ miles (and told this to the desk person as i came in for my appointment). When i got the call for feedback they told me about minor issues that didnt need to be fixed immediately. What they DIDNT tell me was about major problems that should have been addressed before i drove for safety purposes! They completely missed that my control arm had rusted and was one hard turn or bump from breaking, or that my CV boot was split (this was documented but i was not told about it in the phonecall when they told me about minor issues) Very lucky nothing happened while i was driving!!! Very dissapointed that Firestone missed such important things and failed to inform me directly about them, and that my dad had to tell me about them to get them fixed immediately while he was changing my breaks!!

So mixed feelings. I like Kevin the manager, and they do good work, but my problem is they do not honor there online pricing. I priced out specific tires. The out the door price online was 1107.46, but they tell me there is none in the region and they would have to order them and there was no charge for ordering them but they informed me it was actually 1200 and some odd dollars. If there's no charge for ordering them then why is it 100 more then the price it says online. This is extremely unprofessional and quite frankly shouldn't be my problem they should be forced to honor the online price period and I am going to be calling corporate. BTW the 1107.46 is including all installation fees and tax. So to me sounds like some one is trying to pocket 100$. If they agree to honor the online post I will change my review to reflect that. BTW this was both the lacy and west side location. Further more the lacy location has some one pretty rude answering there phones.

My last visit here not so good, out of 3 years of bringing both my cars here. this is the first time I've had a part fly off my tire. after I purchased 4 brand new ones and paid for balance and mount fees. My car was there for over 3 hours and don't understand why the job was rushed through and not done correctly. And my tires still aren't balanced correctly . Sadly I will be using a different store from now on. This location was convenient for me.

Firestone really helped my husband and I out when we got a flat tire, and our donut tire wouldn t make it all the way back to our home. Unfortunately, we got to this location late and close to their closing time (due to our towing company no-showing us, and us needing to figure out how to put on our spare tire ourselves). The team at Firestone were gracious enough to take us on 25min before closing without giving us a hassle. We do appreciate their all help, they truly saved us. We will be repeat customers to the Firestone chain moving forward!

Not only did they take care of my popped tire, they explained how AWD tires need to be similar in tread. I didn't know this before seeing them as my current car is my first AWD vehicle, even though I've definitely bought single tires for my car before. All the staff was super kind & informative, and I'm super grateful for it. They called another location to get me the correct tire I needed, as they didn't have the number I needed. I will most likely return for anything else I need!

I showed up a little early for a 9 am appointment for an oil change. The car wasn't even brought into the shop until 11, at 12 they came out and gave me some options of things they recommended, I decided to get trans fluid changed and was told it would only take an hour. At 2 I asked for a time update which is when he informed me that the tech tried hooking it up to the machine to drain fluid when my car isn't able to do that so they had to do it by hand and I was told it would probably be another 30 minutes. Got the car back at 36 hours for an oil change and trans fluid change is ridiculous, I could have sucked out the oil with a coffee straw faster than that. I don't know if that smaller/younger looking guy still works here but all my appointments when he was here went way faster. I get that your short staffed apparently but if that's the case stop over booking yourself. Never had issues here before.

Our low tire pressure light came on while passing through Olympia. Stopped at Firestone and they did a free tire pressure check and topped off the low tire. They told me to stop back by if it continued to lose air and they'd take care of us. Sure enough it did. We were passing back through Olympia on our way home the following day and the manager Brandon remembered me, got us scheduled and fixed our leaky tire without any hiccup. Such nice guys who made it easy for us to get back on the road safely! Highly recommended this location.

In and out in a reasonable amount of time! They informed me of an issue with one of my tires, and didn't try to force me into buying tires right away. Despite being busy, they had me in and out, and printed an estimate for things I should have done at my next service.

They got my front end alignment done, and fit me in perfectly within my schedule. My alignment was pretty messed up, but it didn't seem to take them any extra time to fix it. The front desk attendant was very outgoing and friendly Service: Wheel alignmentService: Wheel alignment

Dropped truck off 8/30/22 for a scheduled appointment on 8/31/22. Called them at 1730 to see what was found out and was informed the diagnostic tech had to go home for a family emergency.I understand these things come up, but makes it hard to believe when I m the reaching out to get information. It seems like more of an emergency excuse.It would have be courteous to inform me that my appointment wound be held due to this emergency . Then I d be more apt to believe it.Stay tuned for the outcome .9/1/22 0745 called to confirm truck will be addressed today and was informed as soon as he gets in we ll get it done. They open at 0700Call from them re:truck late afternoon estimated 2600 for heater core and miscellaneous hoses etc picked truck up until I could finance.9/8/22, Thursday dropped truck off early afternoonCalled Saturday 9/10/22 to check on status, as I had driven by and it was still in the same parking spot I left it in. Was told an EVENT just finished resolving and that they would start on it today.Call early morning 9/12/22. Was told they are still taking out the dash because it is old and brittle.I highly doubt I ll be using them for repairs or anything else ever again. I ll just use the credit I have to purchase tires but have someone else, or myself change them.It seems like good work ethics and business practice have gone by the wayside. If less than zero stars were possible it would have been chosen.Go to Ben s automotive. Smaller, much more efficient, expeditious and quality work without excuses.

I took my daughter s vehicle to a dealership and one other shop to diagnose a check engine light and a few other issues. I got lots of explanations and fixes that didn t work.These guys found the problem, fixed it, and charged a fair price. They were honest, very helpful, and accommodating. I ll definitely go back!

This place is an absolute joke. Appointments don t mean anything. After waiting 4 hours, and my truck still untouched, I decided to move my business to discount tires. Discount tires did the job in under an hour. When I see the statement above Firestone s door about the founder believing in fundamental honesty being the keystone of business, I think, it s not anymore because they ll over promise you everything but they ll greatly under deliver. These guys are fantastic. My wife has the gift of getting every possible nail in her tires. I have taken her car in at least 3 times the past few months to have a nail or screw removed and every time they get on it immediately and quickly get the job done. These guys have earned my trust for all issues we may face down the road.
