I have a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek and the folks at Eddies do a great job keeping it in roadworthy shape. They have always gotten me in quickly, completed the work in a day, and have had the best price in my area. Austin is also great to talk to about what needs to be done and is respectful.

Brought in a 2001 Outback for an engine swap and cv axle replacement. Had to wait longer than was quoted, then found out the one of jobs wasn t relayed to the tech so came to pick it up two weeks later than promised and it was done. It was finished over the weekend. Thank you, that was awesome. Then to find out the working AC was no longer working and fasteners/clamps were missing from the engine swap. Back to the store to fix those issues. Long story short. Finally everything is resolved, good price, good work, at the end they made it right through explanation of what went wrong and price. I appreciate the work they did.Services: Auto A/C recharge, Engine repair

I took my Subaru Forester in July 2023.They replace a head gasket and forgot to put oil in afterwards. Jiffy lube got it done and made notes for me.They also replaced the driver side control arm but did not put all of the bolt in afterwards. Now I have frame damage and a bent control arm. It will have to go to a collision center to be fixed.Les Swabs- said I was quite lucky nothing bad happened and said legal recourse is suggested.

Basically if you hate someone. Send them here. There is no Eddie. Someone took it over. I was very clear about what was happening. Nope I ended up with a whole lot of work that wasn't even related to the problem because it came right back. They have very few bodies working there so good luck having timely service. In short, there are many ought local options just head over to one them instead and save your time and money.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

Update July 2022: I took my vehicle into Eddies today (my first time since the shift in ownership) and the crew was incredibly helpful and friendly. They quickly figured out why my vehicle was aggressively idling and clicking and also quickly fixed the issue! Thank you!Old review: Fair prices and friendly staff. I go here for oil changes and maintenance. I can't comment on their repair services, but I would trust them.

Editing my review from 2 years ago when Eddie was still around. Him and his work was awesome. Unfortunately, like most things these days, the quality was not retained by the next generation that took over. Was assured my service would be done same day after scheduling over a week out, and as I work two jobs and only have one car, appreciated that very much. However they bit off more than they can chew it seems like and after two full days of sitting I decided to just go elsewhere. The last couple times I had been there in the past year I could tell it wasn't the same as it once was, but this was the final straw. Maybe if you have a highly specific subaru only issue I would recommend them but for common things there's better (faster/cheaper) options in town.

These guys and gals are so helpful, kind, and amazing! They really knocked it out of the park with my Kia, and when needed, I'll be bringing all my future vehicles to them for help! So grateful for their amazing service, patience and compassion. Just totally awesome folks, thanks y'all!

I've been coming here since before the shift in ownership and the only difference I have noticed in the quality of service is that it's faster now that there are more mechanics on the team. No upselling, and they'll often get you in without an appointment, even for bigger jobs. I come from out of town and can just drop off the car, go for a walk and a bite, then come get it a few hours later. Prices are a bit higher than when it was just Eddie, but that's because he was grossly undercharging.

I had a tricky mechanical issue with my Subaru and a friend recommended Eddie. He diagnosed, found a great deal on a part, kept me updated along the way, and delivered a repair for well under the expected price. The service was outstanding! I will definitely be back if needed.

I took my Outback in for an oil change and tire rotation. Service was fast and I got to talk to the mechanic, not just a service representative whose job is to sell things I don't need. Staff was friendly and professional. I've been looking for a mechanic I could trust since I moved here in 2020. I'm delighted to have found Eddie's.

TL;DR professional, personable, and good pricing. If I ever have issues, I'm bringing my car back to Eddie.I had no experience with shops in the area, I knew I didn't want to take my car to a dealership though.Google reviews told me this shop was among the best so I went with it.My 2012 WRX hatch was having fueling issues. I called the shop to let them know I'd be dropping the car off after hours and left a note describing the issue, what I had done to troubleshoot, and what aftermarket parts I installed. When I called the following day, it was apparent that he'd read the note, as we discussed the issue.Instead of trying to sell me a new fuel pump, he was willing to install a different aftermarket pump that I had on hand. While that did fix the issue, he also let me know what the probable culprit was (busted o ring) and that the pump was probably still good, saving me the $130 for a new pump.Everyone at the shop was personable and professional, Eddie went above and beyond what's become the new standard for mechanics, and they didn't try to nickle and dime me.The next time my car needs more expertise than I possess, I'm bringing it back here

I brought my car to Eddie's Subaru Service & Repair after an unfortunate experience with Hanson Motors. I suspected that my engine might be overheating as a result of work that was done by Hanson for a recall. I brought my car to Eddie's for a second opinion after Hanson was not able to diagnose the problem and recommended an expensive engine tear down. Boy, am I glad I brought my car to Eddie's! Eddie's Subaru found a coolant plug in the lower radiator hose of my car which had caused the overheating. They took pictures of the plug in the hose and wrote clear notes in their invoice describing their work; they even gave me back the plug to return to the Hanson tech who left it there. While my car was at Eddie's, I called twice for an update and did not hear back; however, when I came in, Eddie was more than happy to discuss the diagnosis he'd done so far. I think waiting for a call back is a small tradeoff for being able to talk directly to the person doing the work on the car. Communication was prompt once they were able to determine the issue. All in all, I have been very impressed with the transparency, honesty, and reasonable rates at Eddie's Subaru and look forward to taking my car there again in the future.

The best experience I have had with a mechanic. Very knowledgeable and professional. They were able to get me in very quickly, and we're honest and straightforward about the issues with my car. 10/10 will return for any Subaru related needs.

Eddie and his techs are great folks. I have had them do everything from engine swaps to oil changes. Eddie is knowledgeable and straightforward. Great technician that will take care of your maintenance requirements for a lot less than the dealership. Two thumbs up!

This guy does not have the time or experience to work on your car. He had my car for a month and a half for a 2 day job. This shop cuts corners and pretends they are doing you a favor working on your car. This is not a safe place to take your car. Find another shop, trust me. I'm guessing the positive reviews are from oil changes that were done while 20 Subarus were waiting for service. Drive by and see how many cars are in the parking lot before you take yours.Service: Engine repair

Ed Blood has been called a Subaru Wizard. I'd say he IS the Subaru Wizard. That's because he loves Subaru, drives them and races them. If your Subaru needs some love Eddie's Automotive Service and Repair is the place. Took my 2001 Forester somewhere else because I had a certificate for an oil change and inspection. They told me about a couple things I knew were needing attention and quoted me a price. Out of curiosity, I called another place. Meh. Then I called Eddie's. I used to speak car fairly fluently but the newer ones baffle me, still I gave them as many details as possible and got a quote about half the price of the others. Eddie's also found something major the others missed. Even after fixing that, I'm still in for less than the other guys! Paying more does not insure quality or honesty, especially when you are a woman. I swear, when a woman walks in the shop, the price goes up, but not at Eddie's. The shop is fully and professionally equipped, tidy, and organized. Even the bathroom is clean!!!!! That's a rare thing in most auto shops. Subaru Wizards they are, they work their magic on most Japanese cars and occasionally on American. If they don't, or can't fit you in, they will refer you to someone they trust and respect. Good, honest mechanics are hard come by. Been with Eddie's Automotive for six or seven years. Will never think about "cheating on" Ed and his crew again. Nope. Not never.

Eddie is the best of the best. A down to earth, real person who very much cares about his customers and does the best work. Three generations of my family go there and that will continue into the future. I recommend Eddie's automotive to everyone.

Eddie's was recently transferred over to new ownership. An oil change on a Subaru Outback now costs $120 compared to $53.00 last year. Be sure to get your cost estimates up front or you may experience a surprise bill.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil changeServices: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I have a 2003 Subaru Outback that my husband and I knew the left control arm was failing in. We anticipated having to replace both arms while it was in the shop and Eddie quoted a very reasonable price for the work.Once we arrived Eddie himself drove our vehicle and after raising it determined that the wheel baring on the left side and the left control arm were after market parts and had both gone bad.Ultimately we loved our experience at Eddie's. After receiving the part it took the mechanic a mere 2hours to finish our repairs. Eddie talked us through what he himself had seen that needed repairing and did not perform any unnecessary labor or try and talk us into paying for something we didn't feel needed doing. He explained that he uses as many OEM parts as he can which made me feel like I was getting the most out of my vehicle repair. On top if that when the work was finished, Eddie test drove the vehicle and personnally signed off on his mechanics good work.My husband and I both decided that Eddie's shop is the only place we want working on our Subaru. A word to the repair hunters out there he primary works on Subarus and I am not sure his shop works on any other make.

If you need work on a Subaru, then Eddie is your best option. This is not an opinion, it s a fact.I have an outback that started making a small knocking sound deep in the engine. We took it to the local Subaru dealer thinking that they d have the best mechanic for a Subaru problem . After about $800 of B.S. guessing and replacing pieces, and fluids, etc., they still had no idea what was causing the knocking sounds.I took the car to Eddie. After simply describing the problem (not even telling him what work had previously been done), Eddie correctly guessed what was wrong. This several months ago so I don t exactly remember what I paid, but I don t think he charged more than 1 hour of labor and materials ($200 $230 or so dollars), and the problem was fixed. The only problem with Eddie is that I think he s starting to build up a little following. His weekly schedule seems to fill up fast. But he s worth waiting a day or two.

This is the kind of shop you call and you get "Eddie" himself half the time you calI. will only come here with my Subaru, or other cars even. Eddie is an incredibly genuine and nice guy. His prices are cheaper than other shops I've priced and his appointments are pretty relaxed so if you are a little late they dont sweat it. Very straightforward with prices and what you ACTUALLY need! Dont look anywhere else.

Eddie & his crew have taken care of our Subies for 4 years now ever since we moved to the area and has been nothing but 5-stary, front to back, top to bottom, in every way, every time. Just heard he is retiring and I am absolutely gutted.

The guys at Eddie's are awesome, honest and fast. There wasnt any b.s. like I've had with other mechanics. They did what I wanted done and told me about issues I may have in the future. I highly recommend them.

Great customer service. Good mechanics who know what they're doing, even if you don't have a Subaru. I had my Corolla serviced there several times in the last 10 years & always happy with the results.

Eddie is a knowledgeable and honest mechanic!I am a DYI mechanic and subaru enthusiast, however working and traveling a lot I cannot spend the time to work on my car anymore.I set out to find and competent mechanic to work on my baby (price not a factor), I had a failing wheel bearing and axle(CV joint). The axle can be replaced by disconnecting the ball joint. This way of doing the repair cuts the hours down significantly and does not require an alignment, and its simply the best way to repair it.After many many calls to local mechanics Eddie is the only one I called that suggested the correct solution, and suggested the correct parts (reman over aftermarket) he did nothing to squeeze out another cent in fact did the opposite and did everything to cut costs below the original quote. I wanted to pay him more, but would not accept over payment.
