I had a really good experience having my craftsman riding mower serviced here. I have a 54 inch 3 blade mower. I have hit many rocks over the years and more recently a large retaining wall stone while mowing heavy grass. It is well used and in need of service. I dropped it off knowing it was more than sharpen my blades. I didn t ask for an estimate, I just said tell me if the crankshaft was bend or worse. I then got a call to go pick it up. My wife ask how much it was going to cost and like a financially responsible husband I told her I had no idea. She informed me the bill could be massive and that I had made a mistake not getting the estimate. I thought, I am the one who just said fix it so this is probably going to hurt. When I arrived the gentleman went over what needed done, what didn t and what to keep an eye on. It required 3 new blades which were remarkably inexpensive. After all the service I was shocked to have what I thought was a very low bill. I felt fairly treated and will take everything to them. They also have a lot of power equipment, grills, tillers saws edgers. I think this place is an asset in our community. I will support them. They were friendly straightforward and kind. I can t believe how well it works now. It s a smooth ride.

Great service, friendly staff. I'm a mechanic that had a problem locating a mower seal. They were able to identify the seal and had 24 on hand with a price that beat the internet. Part Department was knowledge, front counter lady super nice, and the owner, Pat, super friendly. Will continue to use them when needed.

Horrible service. We left our Champion generator there to be fixed. They spent 3 months with it going through a warranty with Champion. We had little to no follow-up from them in the 3 months. We picked it up finally on Saturday 6/17/23 drove it home and when we started it the exact same issue was still an issue. There was dust all over the outside and inside - dust that hadn't been disturbed. I called left a message for them to call me back on Monday - they did not. I called and a rude woman stated I could drop it off again (why would I) otherwise there was nothing they could do. No one would call me back. Do not use this company! They charged Champion to do a warranty fix and did not do it. I will be reporting them to the Attorney General, Champion, and the BBB. Beware of this company.

Calls to them to get estimated price or at least price range on small engine repair ...carb and sparkplug replacement got me nothing but frustration and not a single definitive response ... it seemed like their policy was bring it in and find put what we charge you after the fact .... not something to give me a warm fuzzy feeling about s good outcome

Wish I had read reviews as there are a handful that should've pointed me in another direction, and if I could give zero stars I would. First, the young lady behind the counter should not be in customer service, as she was rude from the get go and made no attempt to be respectful or cordial. Second, I dropped the mower off for a storm damage estimate and an oil change/ service to which I was told $125. I picked up the mower to a charge of $842. Part of the oil change/service was supposed to be a pressure wash which wasn't done (blamed weather despite it being an average of 40 degrees the last week). I had a separate charge for the oil, the oil filter, air filter, disposal, and labor. Unsure what the $125 was actually for if everything was to be separately itemized within the actual oil change. To not be notified before anything was replaced and get a $842 bill seemed a bit irrational. Lesson learned on my part.... get some agreement in writing.

If I could give ZERO stars I would in a heartbeat! No integrity what s so ever and only looking for the next person they can exploit and take advantage of. I dropped off my rider, asked for a tune up. Picked it up 3 weeks later and they charged me for changing out the blades(even though 6 days prior I had purchased brand new blades and changed them out myself). I caught it on the invoice and questioned it, they told me my blades were severely damaged and needed to be replaced even though no one called me to even ask and confirm this additional charge. I asked if I could see these severely damaged blades that they insisted on replacing and the mechanic came out smelling like he had just taken multiple bong tokes and confirmed he changed the blades out personally so I requested to see them myself and he must have grabbed the worst blades he could have found because he walked out with a set of rusty blades with huge dings and nicks all along the edge. I explained there s no way these could be the same blades I just installed myself 6 days ago as the wear was way beyond what any rational person would argue was reasonable wear & tear in such a short timeframe. No explanation except they insisted that these were in fact the blades my machine came in with when I dropped it off. I seriously doubt they even bothered to change the oil & filter since it was black a less than a month after when I checked next and the filter label on the side wasn t yellow as they always come on the brand ones, instead it was white and sun faded which is odd because I store my rider indoors exclusively. I have no idea what maintenance this business actually did other than charge me for a service they failed to do and left incomplete. Either due to gross negligence or incompetence regardless, inexcusable never the less. Lastly and probably above all else, the front desk ladies have hands down, undeniably the worst customer service skills(or lack there of) that I have ever experienced in my life, they treat customers as if we re an inconvenience and disrupting their day. If I were in their shoes I would strongly reconsider the career path they settled on. Bottom line DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! Call Papa Bear Small Engine Repair instead, better quality craftsmanship, honest and better turn around time. Just my 2 cents

I regret taking my mower here. The shop is very short handed so my mower has been in the shop for going on two months next week. I am frustrated and disappointed, every time I call it gets pushed out one more week. No call or conversation about what needs to be fixed or how much it will cost yet. I am concerned I ll be overcharged for something without an agreement. If it doesn t get fixed next week I m going to take my business elsewhere. I understand being short staffed and shipping delays/ shortages of parts. I don t want to be a Karen but I haven t even had my mower looked at! We have been push mowing 4 acres every week, I m so frustrated.

I took my new riding craftsman mower in .It was not charging the battery. After 6 weeks. I get a call it fixed. I go in to find out they tell me electric is not covered under warranty. I end up paying $164.10 I call craftsman they call complete repair service ,tell them they will pay under warranty $84.10 .i did get back the $84.10 put under warranty it still cost me $60.00 not fair for a new mower.

Had warranty item that manufacturer directed I take to them for repair. Two months later I get call to come pick up but factory declined to cover repair. Was told they fought for me but manufacturer refused to cover cost. I called manufacturer and they had no record of conversion with these people. Manufacturer immediately called and gave authorization to release item to me at no charge. Be careful on warranty work with these people. Also agree with previous other comments about rude front desk staff.

We had some emergency work done on our generator when it stopped producing electricity (it was our only power source at the time). They had it up and running the same day, everyone was friendly and helpful and they didn't overcharge. Would definitely use them again.

Dropped my mower off for a started rebuild and diagnostic to see why the starter kept coming loose. Five weeks later I had to call to find out it was ready, only to get it home and have the starter break again on the six pull. Dropped it back off to have them check it and now I'm told it's gonna to be a few weeks before they even had to it again. This is the worse kind of service I have received from any kind of mechanic.

CRS has been my go to repair shop for my rider for 5 years. I also bought a chainsaw and accessories from them a couple of years ago. This spring I took my rider in for a complete service, specifically requesting they replace all 3 spindles and bearings. Near the end of the season they seemed to be laboring a bit. I got the mower back and, over the next couple of months, it worked fine. That's when it started...just finishing up the lawn and the middle blade/spindle/bearings fail, leaving me with a bent deck, torn up blades and an unfinished lawn. Took the mower back in only to find out they only replaced one spindle/bearing set. Said the other two didn't need it. Well, here we are 8 weeks later and they wouldn't cover any of it, instead charging me almost $300 for the repair.Regretfully, it's time to find a new repair shop.

This place might be the worst customer experience of my life. I brought a WORKING mower in for general maintenance. For the next six weeks they promised that it would be completed in next couple of days. After six weeks I came to pick up my mower. It is came back just a box of parts. The parts guy seemed completely incompetent. The gal at the desk was rude. Finally I got to talk to a guy claiming to be the owners son. He topped they all by cussing at my wife. This place is a joke. I can t believe they stay in business.

Complete repair service has been one of the most knowledgeable and professional shops I've been to. I especially like the extensive parts inventory they offer. Personally I find that their extensive knowledge of all brands comes without parallel. I'll definitely be returning. Thank you crs!

This rating system doesn't have a no stars category so all I can say is don't go here! Lousy service, shoddy work, worthless warranty, poor customer relations and over charging for work not done, read on!!I had my mower in because it wouldn't start they charged$ 123.18 for a complete tune up, carburetor rebuild and an oil change, it took from 4/15 to 5/5/2020. Took it home and couldn't start it again on or about 5/28 and took it back. It should have been under warranty but they charged me $ 112 for the same issue. I took it home the second time and guess what I couldn't start it again! I took it back on 6/30 still should have been covered by their warranty. This time the desk clerk accused me of over filling the oil and tipping the mower inappropriately causing oil to flow into the engine. Well they are the ones that added the oil the first go around not me! They charged me $ 60.66 for them to get it into operational condition. Total cost for getting the mower going was$ 296.42. I went out to start it today 7/13/2020 and folks guess what, it not only didn't start but there was oil every where all over the engine, engine deck and the air filter was saturated. I hadn't touched it since I bought it home.I could have bought a new mower for what they charged and I ended up with nothing! So if you want to flush your money down the drain you've been warned!!

Best place in town! Reasonable pricing, decent & understandable waiting time. The 2 ladies at the front desk are as helpful as possible, made my experience so smooth. Pat the owner is a great guy, real fun to be around. The mechanics there are all in good spirits & were able to answer any questions I had about the repairs on my mower! Highly reccomend!

DO NOT GO THERE! I was very Dis Pleased. I was charged 40.00 for ASPA Charge, My mower took three weeks when I was told 4-5 days on rush, I was still charged the rush charge after 3 weeks. Katrina in the office, very poor skills, Said she would call back and I had to return her call the next day, siting computer problems. I would not recommend then to anyone. I was severely over charged on parts, the JD dealer confirmed they maker them up 50 percent..as a small business owner this was very sub standard service at a high cost

The front desk woman, I think her name is Katrina might have the worst customer service and rudest lady I have ever met! My husband and I encountered her five or six times and every time she was unnecessarily rude. I just read review after review saying the same thing, I don't know why they continue to let her work there. They did a fine job fixing my chainsaw but I will never go there again so long as she is working the front desk. She might do better in an industry where she's not around any people.

This is the first time ever writing a review. But I m so mad and this business should be honest and not take advantage of customers.!!?!?!!!!!!?! Brought my lawn mower to get fixed and blades sharpened. When I picked it up they did not fix it had to take it back. I specifically told them what was going on with it. They didn t listen. Picked the mower up for the second time mowed my lawn twice and the mower stopped working. I took my mower somewhere else to find out this place didn t sharpen the blade and did not fix it. DO NOT GO HERE. They Scam YOU out of MONEY.

Very rude staff, did not tell me it would be 50.00 to pick up my mower I thought it was free because the last time I had the same repair done it was free. I would have brought it in my self and beware that they also charge for shop supplies 5.00 and will charge you to dispose of your old parts!! If you don't want to be charged for extra fees don't go here!! They weren't willing to work with me since I would have made other choices if I knew all this before the repair will never use this place again. I feel ripped off and I am a very upset customer I live on a fixed income and now it will be hard for me to make it this month:(

I was in need of a zero turn mower for my new property. I needed a commercial model for about a 3 acre yard of grass. The one I was looking at getting, was a month or more on back order. In a chance meeting during breakfast, my wife and I met Scott and his wife. After talking with them for a few minutes, I told him what I was looking for in a mower, and he said that he was co-owner of CRS, and that he had just the model for me at his shop. My wife and I then followed them after breakfast, to his shop in Tumwater, to take a look. While Scott went to get the mower we had talked about, he let me ride a limited production, midnight addition, Ferris mower that they had out front, as I had never drivin a zero turn before. When I got done, I put it back where it was sitting. The mower he brought out was a nice unit for sure. Ferris makes commercial lawnmowers for golf courses, and make awesome machines. This was one of their smaller models (52in.cut). My wife told me that, that's the one you're going to get, to which I replied, ya I know, I could never afford the Midnight (61in.cut), to which she replied, no that is the one you're getting. To which I replied, WOOHOO! (I Love my wife). This was a limited addition, only 500 produced, totally decked out with everything you could think of in a zero turn machine. Scott gave me a great deal on it, so much so, that I purchased a garden trailer as well. He then loaded it all up on his flat bed and followed us home to deliver it that day. I have had some interesting things happen to me in my lifetime, but this was the best one for sure. I got to meet some super AWESOME people, after just moving to this area, and got a great deal to boot. I Highly recommend Complete Repair Services, in Tumwater Wa. Either Scott or his dad, Pat McConkey, can help you with all of lawn tractor, large tractor, yard equipment, sales and repairs (AWESOME machine shop). Give these guys a call, you won't regret it.

This business has changed. I went to have a spring on my chainsaw pull cord repaired and was charged almost 100$ for a five dollar part and repair. Ouch, will steer clear of this business in the future.

My pressure washer would run, stop, start, run, stop...... Took it in and when I got it back it did the same thing. When I took it back Pat the owner, put it immediately on the bench and found the trouble and had me back on the road in 20 minutes. While the trouble wasn't fixed the first time they made it right without quibbling. You don't find that much these days. I've had nothing but good experience with them.

Full disclosure: I worked with the owner Pat back in the mid-1990's.I bought a generator from CRS back in 2012. When I bought the generator, I'm sure Pat told me to use non-ethanol fuel and I guess I forgot or just got lazy. This year when the power went out I pulled the generator out and found the crankcase filled with gasoline and oil. Apparently I didn't get the fuel shutoff valve all the way shut and the carb was gummed up. I called CRS and talked with Bill who said they weren't really backed up and if I got the generator in to them early I may get it the same day. That's exactly what happened. I dropped the generator off at 1:30 PM and got a call around 4:00 PM the same day that the generator was ready to go. It just required a spark plug, air filter, new oil and a carb rebuild. CRS had the generator back to me before the power company could get the power back on. I couldn't be happier with the service that CRS provided. My power just went out again, and I'm writing this review under generator power. Thank you Pat and the rest of the CRS team.
