For a day that was planned to a fun filled with hiking, and got cut short due to the car breaking down... Shout out to Ryan, awesome guy to talk with and super helpful. They took great care of my car, and got me on my way with great timing (even enough to still be able to do a hike in the area).

Was on the road for work and need fixed very quickly. Ryan brought me right in and had it done FAST !! Cost was also very good and service was excellent. Highly recommend talking to them about your needs.

North Bend Auto is a great and trustworthy place. We stopped here on a crunch on the way to a road trip, and they took the time after closing to give us a diagnosis, top off our break fluid and helped us get back on the road. They were very kind, and didn t try to sell us on something we didn t need - just got us back to driving! I d recommend them to anyone in the area!!!

Traveling from Idaho in the 99 degree heat and my low engine oil light came on. I pulled off at North Bend Automotive. Ryan came out and checked my oil, added more oil and had me back on the road in less than 30 minutes. He and the other guys were so friendly and helpful. I would recommend them any time.

Great place! I had a radiator leak and was unable to determine where it was leaking. Ryan did a pressure check for me and found the problem in 5 minutes! And because it was so fast, they didn't even charge me! Wow, just like the good ole days. A local shop that treats you like the neighbors that we are. I don't mind diagnostic charges, but being charged $150 to confirm what we thought was wrong and not being willing to perform the repair left a rather flat experience. Before dropping off my car, I understood that they weren't currently "doing engines" due to staff shortages and an abundance of work, but I didn't realize that included the suspected issue my vehicle had - and I was asking to have the repair done sometime within the next 4 months. Clearly there was a miscommunication -- why would I want to pay $150 to confirm the problem then have to take it to someone else for the repair?

They were great. I was broken down while towing a 26 foot travel trailer. They had a busy schedule, but made room to figure out what was wrong with my truck. Unfortunately it was more than they could take on at the moment, but I appreciate that they tried .

Great people, they really did a great job on my Toyota Tacoma. They were extremely reasonably priced. They got me right in without an appointment. Really a great place, I would highly recommend them.

These folks save our family trip with compassion and kindness and excellent service. They stayed late as we limped in with a bad alternator from Snoqualamie Pass, on a Friday at 4 PM. They worked quickly and had us back on the road within an hour and a half, after locating and getting an alternator from anither business and swapping out the other one. I highly recommend North Bend Automotive!Service: Electrical repair

The guys were kind enough to squeeze in an oil change for my little 1998 chevy metro on a busy day. No gimmicks or up sales. I got what I paid for and was 100% satisfied. 10/10 recommend!

I took my car in to get the oil changes, tires rotated, and headlight changed. Everything was done in great timing and exceeded my expectations. I had a really squeaky driver side door and even that was lubed out without me even asking. I met Bobby the owner who's care and passion for the business showed through just a quick conversation. I will definitely be coming back.

Larry and the North Bend Automotive team was nothing short of exceptional. We hit a nasty set of pot holes on the 90 East, coolant light came on and engine temp started rising. Pulled over and there was a heavy coolant leak. Larry answered the phone multiple times to coordinate with us and suggested a local tow company. Didn't get to the shop until after closing but early the next morning Larry called promptly in the AM to explain the details and even came to pick up my wife and I when we couldn't find an Uber...such a great experience and solid work that got us back on the road home before lunch.

Life savers. We had a car issue that we had to pull over for on I90 and randomly stopped here because it was the closest place. They immediately helped us out and got us back on the road. The technician, Josh, went above and beyond. Highly recommend!

These guys are amazing. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. They always answer all of my questions, regardless of how silly i think my question is. They make sure I understand, what they did and why they did it. I have taken my vehicle here twice now, and have not been disappointed either time. In the future I will return and have and will continue to recommend them. Thank you North Bend Automotive for being such a wonderful group of people. :)

This place was personable, fast, and got the job done! I was driving on the freeway and noticed my check engine light flashing i knew that i could not keep driving over the pass like that. I called before i got there and told them i was on the way. They got me right in and told me what was wrong with my car. They even picked up the part needed to fix my car and i was in and out in 45 minutes and back on the road to my destination. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. I would even drive from Seattle just to get my car fixed here that is how good they were :)

Throughout the years I have tried contacting them quite a few times when I have had issues with my car and leaving them messages on their machine and nobody ever got back to me any of the times I have ever called. Terrible customer service. How are you supposed to get your car fixed if they never even call you back?

My battery started dying on Hwy 18 I made it to north bend and pulled into this shop. They were very quick to diagnose the problem, we were able to get an alternator and they installed it with no wait time. The tech was extremely polite and explained all the steps. Excellent rates and amazing service. If your vehicle has issues I would go here. This shop wont BS you and gets to the point. Thank you very much.

I've been going to the North Bend Automotive for about a year for oil changes, and the occasional work on my vehicle. If I could give 6 stars I would. They go the extra mile to make sure you are happy, and constantly check in to make sure you aren't going to be late for work/other engagements. This is a family owned business, and they treat you like such. Thank you for everything!

This is the first time I have written a review. These people deserve it. I broke down on I 90 got towed to their shop it was 502 they closed at 5 o clock. The owner and the staff all surveyed my problem one of the staff members said he ll pick up parts on the way home tonight to get me out of there faster the next morning I had two kids with me and two dogs with me we camped out in their parking lot in a tent The next morning they were on it first thing one of the people brought Burger King breakfast for me and my kids. They turned a nightmare situation into one of the best automotive auto repair experiences I ve ever had I like to thank them very much. Terry

Broke down on i90 on our way to Leavenworth. Bobby made time to look at our car right away. Even though we couldnt get it back on the road immediately it was still extremely nice of Bobby and his crew to make time for us when no other shops would. Highly recommend these guys. One of the best shops I've worked with

This was my second time coming to NB Auto after an oil change. I brought my car here after the check engine light started flashing and it seemed to be urgent. Bobby, the owner, was kind enough to drop me off at the local coffee shop and said he would call me in about 30 minutes to tell me what he found was wrong with my car.Three days later I still hadn t heard from them about my car. I had called multiple times over those days to no answer and left voicemails. It was only after I suggested taking my car to another shop in case they were too busy did I get a call back. I didn t have my car for three days on which I needed to get to work. Upon picking it up Saturday night, the check engine light was still on and my car was still acting strangely. They apparently did not drive my car at all and gave me back a malfunctioning vehicle after 3 days and $1300+.I missed a second day of work because they hadn t fixed one of the cylinders and my car was running awfully the next Monday. I took it straight back to NB Automotive only because I hoped they would cover it. Thankfully this time my car was repaired the same day and at no extra charge.I later discovered that they had screwed TWO license plate frames onto my car advertising their business without my consent. You held my car for 3 days with no contact, why in the world would you think I would want to provide free advertising? That was the true nail in the coffin for me and NB Automotive. Not only did I miss an extra unnecessary day of work because they did not check their work, but they thought they could sneak some free advertising onto my vehicle after this debacle.1/21/2020: Edit to add the additional information that the mechanic seemed to switch the fluid lines for my front and rear wipers, so trying to wash the front window sprays water on the back window and vice versa...

I took my car in for a estimate to install a new waterpump it needed replacing, water just was pouring out. Told them it was water pump and they actually printed that on the top of estimate and needed to get some estimates asSt Vincent DePaulwas helping me with the costs. I left it there and when I came back the mechanic had taken it out on the road to test drive it spent time under the hood not sure why as I told them exactly what was wrong with it. I needed a written estimate for parts and labor. Well I did get that $498'00 asked for my keys got my estimate and said thanks. As I'm heading to the exit she tried to get a mechanic to make me realize that the pump was toast and shouldn't be driven. Told them I know the risks but I needed approval from St V. Like i said i was getting help and who did the work was up to St V. (They have limits on how much they can spend.So now the receptionist tells me that since I'm not leaving my car for them to do the job later the next week I now had to pay $120'00 for the estimate (REALLY?) nothing was mentioned earlier about any charge for estimate she said her mechanic spent better part of an hour on it. Remember I took it in telling them what was wrong?!! I even said I had to get other estimate's in our conversation when I dropped car off. Now she wants to try and charge me? And as my phone is messed up my friend left her info and has been getting calls asking about when I'm going to pay.. I'm notTo top it off they parked two cars bumper to bumper in front of my car and on both sides not leaving a whole lot of room on either side in the vacant lot parallel to there business. (I came to get car after closing we went out and didnt want to drive mine in its condition) I use a cane I have issues walking and putting my car where I could have fallen was messed up. And if it's there practice to charge for estimates it should be stated so before they even look at a car and put in writting.My second estimate was $324.00. The third ended up donating his time and got it done in just under an hour part cost $58.00 antifreeze $16,00 TV

Sept 2017 - My original review is five years old. Since then, I've heard that NBE has changed hands, and I've also heard several stories from people who've recounted problems they had with the new ownership. Please do not base any decisions on this review without corroborating with more recent reviews.-------------------- original review follows -------------------I live in the North Bend area, and have been looking around for a new place to get automotive work done. I just had North Bend Automotive do the rear brakes on my wife's van. It was something of a last minute affair: I called, then dropped by to have them take a look. I spoke with mechanic Tony, who was patient, helpful and professional -- even though he had to step away from his work to help me. I was subsequently able to have an appointment scheduled quickly and without a hassle. When I dropped it off this morning they gave me a ride home. They called me before starting to confirm the work involved and the cost. The work was completed as promised, on time, and for a few bucks less than quoted. They called me as soon as the work was done and offered to come pick me up.Pros:- No attitudes or personality disorders. Everyone was pleasant, professional and service-oriented.- Garage area is clean and professional-looking. Mechanics are too.- Main office is separate from the garage. It has a bright spacious waiting area with comfortable seating, TV, periodicals and 'stuff'. No funky smells or greasy chairs.- Locally owned and operated; prices seem to be competitive or better.- Communications were great; work was done as promised, on time.- They gave me a ride!Cons:- none.

We blew a turbo hose on my Volvo passing through North Bend. It is hard finding someone to work on Volvos. We drove into the shop and Rick diagnosed it and ordered the part. They had it fixed in 24 hrs. We were then underway. So thankful to Jennifer and the friendly crew.

Stopped in today to see if they could recommend where I could get a nut I needed to complete a small repair. I'd checked all the usual places in town with no luck as the part was a bit unique. They spent 20 minutes tracking down the nut for me through a dealer. There was absolutely nothing in it for them but they went far and above anything I expected. When I have a car repair that I can't tackle myself North Bend Automotive is the first place I'll go.

This shop is first rate! My daughter's van quit suddenly going up Snoqualmie Pass and was towed there. They went out of their way to fit us into their very busy schedule. Due to the hour, we spent the night. The next morning they finished checking out the van. Soon, we were back on the road and made it home to Montana without any more problems.
