Jaret has been my mechanic for at least 15 years (it's been so long, I can't remember), and now I am proud to call Joe my mechanic as well.We are lucky to have Jaret, Joe, and their team living and working in our Nine Mile community. They know the importance of a quick turnaround time, living out here like we do - with sometimes less than stellar road conditions, we need our vehicles to be running well and reliably between home and town (who hasn't worried about breaking down on 291 before they can get safely home? I know I have).At the very least, I know I can swing by to ask them something as simple as "pretty-please will you check under my car to make sure there's no animal parts stuck up there after I rolled a skunk?" (There was not, but ewww, I didnt want to do it myself; and Joe was happy to do it for me).And on a more serious note, I have trusted them implicitly with ensuring that mine and my kids' vehicles are safe to drive. When I asked Jaret if I can get one more season out of my Blizzaks, his answer was, "No. If you only drove around town, I'd say yes, but I know where you go Therese (in the mountains, forest roads, etc), and these tires are done for that. Get new ones."Or the time Jaret drove past my house one morning and saw my daughter's car squished like a pancake and immediatley called me to see if she was OK. (She was, miraculously, after flipping end over end down the embankment heading down 291 into Willow Bay one winter). Who else can say their local mechanic would do the same?Jaret, Joe, and the guys working for them care about each and every one of their clients as if they are family. I guarantee- and know from experience - you won't find that everywhere you go.Their hands-on experience, as well as their knowledge and use of modern technology - like researching the internet to properly diagnose problems is second to none.We are so lucky to have them in our local community. Give them a try!

I am so impressed with the service I received at Jaret & Joe's. Everyone here was super kind and nice, and treated me with respect. If you're looking for an auto shop that still operates with transparency and integrity, this is it.

Rip off, was told by the owners our cars were messed up by one of there mechanics but now only they will fix our cars. Was over charged by $500 (they told me) but funny enough it was another issue with our car that was covered by that overcharge plus another $50.Both cars needed to be jumped when picked up and saw all the engine insulation was missing, forgot to hook up the air conditioner and a bunch of other little werid things. Less than 12,000 miles both of the engines they rebuild are leaking fluids and they said it is not their fault and if we persist in making them fix it they would go out of business. What does that have to do with fixing our cars? Then said we should give them more money so they can replace the seals that were not replaced when the engine was taken apart. They used the old seals when putting the engine back. We were charged $5,000 for each engine. DON'T GO THERE!

Keeping my bus on the road was imperative. These guys are my heros for making sure that happened! There was a concern that the computer would not be able to be replaced but they didn't give up.

I have a 1940 Ford Sedan I had just purchased. I asked my 90 year old dad to take the car to these yahoos to look over the C4 transmission which is leaking. I did not build the car, ok! These guys were rude telling my dad they would not work on the car. Really? Why not? It was nothing shop of a nightmare for my 90 year old father. He builds street rods (owns 3). I grew up around street rods and drag racing and rarely deal with rude folks that work at this shop. Needless to say my dad called and said , the guy did nothing but cut down my 40 Ford. Again, I didnt build it. I live in the Seattle area and purchased the car in Yakima. I wouldnt deal with these folks with the poor attitude they have. Good riddance to these folks.

These people are great!!We had a family member who was having car problems and we wanted to get them some help. From 3000 miles away we read Jaret and Joes reviews and contacted them to diagnose and repair the vehicle. They did an excellent job at a more than reasonable cost. The communication from their team could not have been better. Result: our family member said the vehicle has never run so well.Great job the Nine Mile Falls area is lucky to have you.God Bless

Can't say enough about them. Towed in my car with transmission slipping. The day before a scheduled move to Calif.. So Time and vehicle were of the essense. This on labor day weekend, so they were extremely busy. They did everything necessary to get me fixed up and going as soon as possible within there means. Got my car back the next day!Everyone there was extremely nice and professional, from the front desk to the owners and mechanics.I highly recommend them. Pricing seemed fair. But I was told a month when I first brought my old school car to get the engine repaired I was told it would take a couple of weeks to a month. My car has been sitting outside the shop for about a month and they haven't even looked at it. I would call every week and ask and each time I called they would say they would get it in the next week and each week turned into the next week. I was very disappointed in this. We put a tarp on our vehicle because it doesn't have paint on it its an old classic and we went out of town and it blew off we came home and didn't see it on the car so we called and asked why they didn't put the tarp back on we asked nicely because we spent a lot of time and money on removing the paint. We spoke to the lady up front and she was very nice, she put us on the phone with one of the owners I believe and he was very rude saying if we were asking for money we said no we were just wondering why a simple question that could have been answered it was windy we are sorry but the tarp wouldn't stay on but instead we got rudeness saying that we aren't customers when we signed paperwork admitting our vehicle for service. We said no we don't want money we are just wondering why the tarp wasn't put back on when the wind died down and he was raising his voice saying its not our job when the vehicle is under their care. He continued raising his voice tell us to come get our f*****g vehicle now. We were still being nice and said okay we will come get it and he comtinued yelling. It was just a question we weren't being rude to him so don't know why he was being rude to us. I suspect because my review about how were were told week after week our vehicle would be looked at but that is not a very professional way to handle the situation.Service: Engine repair

This shop takes pride in their work and in their customers. We like to support a local business. Have a vehicle with 264,000 miles and they have worked on it a number of times. Pricing is fair and work is always completed in a decent time frame. Steve listens and explains the process of what diagnosis will be done to find the problem. Our family trusts Jaret and Joe's because we are treated like family there!

Took my truck in for some horrible noise the front end was making. Jaret was able to properly diagnose the problem and repair it all within the same day. He was very informative and even showed us the malfunctioning part after replacing it. Was easy to make an appt and didn't have to wait long. Both women working at the front desk are very friendly. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good, reliable mechanic.

Good service and fair prices. They were a lot cheaper than the other places I got quotes from.. They are busy but get you in as quick as they can and finish the job in a timely manner. They had my car done sooner than they originally said they would.

I would not recommend this place to anyone Jaret the owner is extremely unprofessional and cussed me out over the phone refusing to even look into a warranty repair telling me I needed to call the warranty company and get an approval number which only the shop can get because they need the quote and to ensure the shop is an approved shop. After that I chose to pick my truck up without giving them my business took my truck to another shop and had the repair done a week later my truck sat at Jarets for a week before they even got back to me at all. Once I picked my truck up I had a leak coming from underneath climbed under to find they had filled my DEF tank up on a fully deleted truck and the DEF was now leaking all over my driveway. I'm sure anyone who doesnt deal with Jaret probably has good things to say but my experience was not I wont recommend anyone to this shop.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance

Jaret and Joe's is one of the few auto repair places in the Suncrest, Nine Mile falls area. The owners each had separate repair facilities and merged their respective businesses into one. Prices are decent, better than the dealership can offer and are fairly quick.

I would highly recommend! They replaced my alternator, surpentine belt, and tensioner belt. In my 2007 FJ Cruiser. They did it in a timely and professional manner. Their prices were more than fair.

When I first called Deb was very nice, understanding & helpful. She told me the guys were at lunch, but would be back soon to better answer my questions. No problem. I missed her return call a couple hours later, but quickly returned it. Deb quickly relaid the information she was given, letting me also know that the guy that does my type of repair (Mark) wouldn't be in until the next day. Yet, I still had a few more questions. She told me she didn't know the answers, would either call me back shortly or one of the guys there would, because she needed to get back to another call on another line. No biggie, I'm thinking. Totally understand what's she's got going on. Besides, there's still time before they close to return my call.......... Nope. Nothing. I was not expecting that. After all they had been highly recommended by someone I trust in their opinions. I did call then back a little after closing thinking that if they were so busy before, then maybe they were still there and someone could answer my questions. Nope. I did leave a message though, expressing my disappointment in not hearing back from anyone who could answer my questions and to please have one of the guys give me a call so I can figure this out fully.I received a message the next morning, with Deb telling me the exact same thing she had the day before. Nothing new to answer any questions. Nothing about being able to discuss then with one of the guys. Nothing even about one of the guys calling me shortly to answer my questions.Meanwhile, I find the number to a different automotive repair place here in Suncrest, and give them a call. Spoke to the owner/operator, had all my questions answered on the spot, even got a WAY BETTER price for the work I need done! It was of their price. He even had it done in a little over 3 hours.Sorry Jeret & Joe. This lady can't recommend you at this point.Better luck next time.Now the front desk lady, Deb, on the other hand.... She was great. Always nice, and trying to do her best with what she was given. I'd give her a f our star rating!

Been a long time customer of Joe's. I can firmly say that Joe runs an honest, fair, and price effective shop. He has gotten me out of many jams, dropping whatever hes doing to get a long term serviced vehicle back on the road ASAP. Never been to a better shop, never had a plessure of working with a better mechanic. They have consitentnly beaten local pricing by $100-$200+ in savings.

I really liked this shop. I'm visiting nearby and left my truck for sway rods and cushions repair. They had already picked up the parts and they finished the job in just over an hour. Impressive.

Joe is one of the best..not only as a Master mechanic but he and his team always have your best interest at heart...never met a better company ..they definitely have your back
