The staff were knowledgable but that s about it. It took me nearly two months to get a replacement key for my car. They had to order parts and that took some time due to shipping delays, which I understand and get isn t their fault. When parts did come in no one ever called! They had to order parts for me twice and both times I had to keep calling them.There were times the staff were rude and pissy about things.If I hadn t had to put money down at the beginning I would have gone elsewhere. The customer service, or lack there of was a joke.

My daughter locked her keys in her car on the way to summer camp. I called Jim's for help. I have to admire their honesty. The employee said, "I can head over there, but call these guys they are closer". I found out they weren't open, so I called Jim's back. They headed over and took care of my daughter. Great service. Very communicative.

We were locked out of our Yakima box after traveling with all our camp gear up top. Luckily we were able to swing by and Benji made quick work of both picking the lock and making us a new key so we could be on our way! Definitely recommend!

They were fast and did a great job just prepare yourself for a expensive unlock with my experience they charged me 70 dollars for I'm not kidding you 3 minutes of his time. I know you can say gas prices but 6 miles round trip doesn't justify that price either. If you have the time to wait I suggest using your AAA.

Came and unlocked my mailbox for me in 101 degree temp. Showed up fast and got me taken care of. Couldn t be happier with a locksmith service. They have all my future business. Thank you to Benji for enduring the heat.

Best ever! My daughter had locked keys in her car. It was snowing. It was a Saturday. A very pleasant employee handled everything for me by phone and quickly went to the rescue. I shortly received a receipt electronically and a phone call confirmation that all went well. I'm very pleased with this company!

Quick and efficient. I was thrilled to have another key for our vehicle. I worry about losing my one-and-only key. Jim's Locks was able to sync my new key fob to my vehicle in less than 20 minutes! I cannot say more about the customer service. I locked my keys in my car this morning with my children inside. I was panicked to say the least. It's hot and both kids are in car seats. Benji was there within 5 mins and in my car within one minute of pulling up! He was the nicest guy and professional and understanding. Thank you Jim's Lock and Key! You made my day!

I was having carpet installed so I stuck my meds in the safe so I d know where to find them because I had to empty my living room one day to have the carpet replaced then they came back 2 days later to do the bedrooms, so I had to move everything out of the bedrooms, including the safe. While moving it something must have jammed it because the digital combo wouldn t work nor the backup key.Benji was kind enough to squeeze me into his schedule the next day. He called ahead of time and told me when to expect him. He was very professional and courteous and was able to open the safe without drilling it, which I was happy about, but then again not sure I can trust that it won t lock me out again, so I may purchase a better quality one anyway.I will definitely call Jim s Lock Service again if I ever need that type of service in the future.Service: Safe lock mechanism installation, opening & repairs

Advertises as a 24 hour locksmith, but won t answer calls after hours. In the recording, it says to leave a message and they ll get back as soon as possible, but the mailbox is full, leaving now option to even do so. Please don t advertise as a 24 hour locksmith, if you are unable to do business 24 hours a day

Benji is EXTREMELY RUDE!!!!! rude comments for everything that I asked for. My company refers to Heavy duty units as TRACTORS, and he stated well IDK where your from, also while explaining to him to send in his invoice to our email upon completion for payment he says "now I can see why you guys have nobody to assist". he sounds like he hates his job AND THAT IS NOT OUR PROBLEM! you guys should find better employees to represent your company!

I went camping at the gorge with my boyfriend and a friend - long story short the worst possible event happened where the keys were not locked in the car, but the trunk so the first locksmith couldn t open the vehicle. Cue Erich who was dispatched from triple A and he SAVED us in 5 minutes flat no less. He was insanely nice despite having to navigate a festival ground with sleepy ravers, super helpful, and professional - unlocking the car in the least aggressive way. He left into the sunrise to go save other campers - our hero! Highly recommend.

Timely and friendly. I locked my keys inside the car. I was inside my car within 3 minutes of arrival. Erich was more than willing to help. Thanks Erich and Jim's.

If I needed lock service again, I would call Jim's Lock Service. They were great to work with. When my son lost the only key to his vehicle (which is still in my name), Benji was awesome. I was in a huge time crunch but needed to show proof of ownership. He allowed me to text a picture my ID so I didn't have to drive all the way there when I was already super busy. I'm pleased.

A mistake was made,as will happen with any business, because we are all human, the gentleman that that i spoke to went out of his way to try and help me when me, and my Harley made it to the shop costing me out of pocket 180.oo bucks. Was told that they could not cut a key to a Harley, after I was told that morning by some one who answered my call and told me they could. When it became abundantly clear to me they could not I asked well what are they gonna do about the 180.oo hook, well a younger Hispanic gentleman had just entered the business, looked at me, and basically made it very clear to me to go f... my self. S.S. is all I have for income, as my daughter explained to the owner, not sure if it was Erich, or Jim, but for reimbursing me for for my expenses Thank you. You are honest, honorable. I would recommend this business to any one who finds them self in my predicament.

Pros very accommodating, friendly service at the front counter, technician. Able to pry my locks apart because I'd lost my keys, extremely reasonable pricing. Highly recommend Tyler.

We got locked out of the house on a Friday night and was worried there would be no one in town available.We called Jim's Locksmith and he came over in about 35 minutes (we live on the other side of town) and was able to unlock the door in less than a minute! Amazing help and really appreciate him taking the time to come over despite being in the middle of quality time with family.

Went into the store all I wanted was a remote for for car. The associate clearly needed training. The manager was super rude. I've done business with them before, never had this experience. Will not be going back and will never send anyone one again to them.

I had a decent experience with this proprietor earlier this year when I had to call him out on a weekend evening for a lockout. I expected to pay a premium - and did - but he cut a new key on site without additional charge.I like to reward small business owners with repeat business when they earn it, even if it's a little more expensive. It save me the hassle of having to comparison shop if I know I can rely on the quality of their work.Fast forward to today. I have a trailer in need of new lockset, which I was told they have in stock for about 70 bucks. I can't get to their shop before closing, so I ask if they can drop it off on the way out tonight. I live 1.2 miles away. Three minutes in heavy Moses Lake traffic. I'm told the "trip fee" will be 50 dollars. FIFTY dollars.I understand and appreciate how our economy works. I was prepared to absorb a reasonable additional cost for the arduous cross-town journey of three minutes. Almost doubling the price is not reasonable. When I advised that this may drive me back to comparison pricing, the only response I got was "sounds good". I may use this business again, but only if I have to.Bottom line: Competent, but not competitive. Seem to have a small town monopoly mindset. Don't appear to care about return customers. There is apparently no reciprocal loyalty from Jim's Lock Service.

I locked my keys and phone in my car at the rest stop right outside of Moses Lake today. Three nice men tried to gain access unsuccessfully. They then called Jim's and I was driving away within the hour. Benji who answered the phone was so kind as was Jim who opened my door. So thankful for everyone's help today!

I was visiting from almost 300 miles away, and I found myself locked out of my car with almost no money. I called these guys in a massive pinch, and not only did they come by pretty quickly, but they also gave me a small discount. The whole thing went quickly.

Lost the key to locked storage unit. Great customer service, knowledgeable staff, timely, and reasonably priced.
