This review is for the Starbucks inside the Monroe Fred Meyer. This is very fun and friendly group. The store is always clean and rarely over crowded making this a nice stop to open your laptop.

This location has everything you'd expect a Fred Meyer to have except Parking is cramped, checkouts are understaffed and Bidenflation has clearly effected the food prices. A new addition is an automated entry and exit gate near the entrance making the experience feel ominous and it foreshadows an eerie shopping experience with a possible encounter for whatever chronic reason that plagues this location so severe that they install these.

Dear Monroe Fred Meyers, I am thoroughly disappointed in the lack of training your employees, specifically those who bag groceries for pick up orders. I do not want to be charged for plastic bags when I had two large reusable bags in my car trunk for food to be placed in, also why is there one or two items for each food item, complete waste of bags that I didn't want to purchase. Very disappointed in lack of common sense and training.

Easy to shop multiple areas at once, just don't leave the store . Check out and check for magnet tags are removed from the clothes. Parking lot is usually full after one pm. Shopping cart you would be wise to bring one in. Not always available. Bring your own bag too. Save$$$

If you wanna shop somewhere that you have to bring in your own carts this is the place for you! I go multiple times a week usually at different times and they never have any carts. I usually have to walk to every entrance and back track in hopes I can find one!!

The Monroe Fred Meyer's is so convienet! Fresh produce, easy access to the things you need, a fantastic Starbucks that even my kids love, I'm at home! You'll always find someone able to help you find something. Don't be a Karen or a Richard to anyone!!! Don't bother shopping at one of the best grocery stores we have if you can't keep your attitude in check. This isn't Kindergarten!

Bought Tresemme hairspray, ($8.49) for pickup. There was a coupon for the price to come down to $5.99. Not only was the coupon not honored but they gave me the Kroger brand instead. The Kroger brand with no coupon retails for $4.49. So I was charged an extra $4.00 and the Kroger is in the garbage. During this time, my husband went in to use the bathroom and said they looked like gas station bathrooms, absolutely filthy! Lack of toilet paper and this was on a weekend. I've had numerous times my order was wrong including never getting the "buy 1 get 1 free". I've yet to ever get the extra one free. Not looking for a refund, just looks like Fred Meyer needs the money more than us.

Never enough cashiers ever. 1 or two lanes open, looooong lines. I don t want to self check out, absolutely do not. No 12 items or less lane.MADDENING. Very short sighted, poor experience as a customer because of it. Will return to shopping at another store closer to work.

Great selection, decent prices, don t like the lack of customer service. Used to ask if you d like help out with your groceries after they bagged them. Now they ring you up expect you to pay for the bag and fill it yourself. Time for a new store manager!

Have the best stock crew, all shelves are packed 24/7 very well done. Very clean store, everyone very helpful. I would vote for more organic foods, drinks, they have like 50 different tortillas types and not one organic, when I was there...mmm...

It's nice to be home. Fred Meyers had renovated since I was here last and expanded their produce selection a lot. You can find almost anything here from apples to windshield wipers.

Ever since kroger came in, i hate this store. Employee retention looks to be a HUGE problem now. I was used to the same staff for YEARS, happily working there. Then kroger came in and "remodeled" in terrible fashion and ever since, the whole store just sucks.Walmart is actually an upgrade from this hole, now.My wife has tried to be loyal to FM because pricing seemed better, but even that has seriously slipped.I shop at Safeway even though a lot of things cost a little more because it seems like the people are happier and i get FAR better service. My wife shops here sometimes and usually hates it. She's started going to walmart and so have my other family members nearby. This site and its management need to go back to the way things were. Fred Meyer would be ashamed of what this has turned into. FFS, at least change the name of the store.

Great customer service by any employee that is encountered here. This place has it all. Furniture selection. An amazingly fresh LARGE produce section hands down best place to get your fresh produce around these parts. An electronics section that is very organized and professional.HANDICAP?! ~ Don't worry because Fred Meyer has amazing Handicap parking spots...also Van Accessible parking spots.T.V. selection? Yes! They have a 65" Samsung Curved T.V. and many other brands...versions...L.E.D. and smart televisions.~ Loyal Customer

Edit 2: One register open at 8:30 pm? Good Lord hire some people. Ugh.Edit: Worse than Walmart now. No reason to shop here anymore.Nothing got better. If you are disabled, good luck getting an electric cart that doesn't die in the middle of the store. It's almost all self-checkout now. The employees hate working here. I know this because they have told me.Now they are going to merge with Albertsons and Safeway. Lol.Oh well. I guess it's time to give my money to Walmart. Damn.-----------I've shopped at this store for 27 years. In their effort to turn themselves into a Walmart clone, they rearranged the store into a train wreck. They only have two checkers during the day and one late in the evening. The checkout counters are all replaced and the checkers can't bag. And they try to shove you into the self checkout stations where 4 random sad looking guys are always standing around. It's a joke. You screwed up my store. Imagine this... $1000 per month for 27 years. That's the low end estimate for my large family. That's $324,000.So, I guess you leave me no choice. Walmart it is.

Why be rude! I made it to the south doors at 8:58 and the older lady with dirty blond hair was locking the doors. I asked her can I squeeze out the doors. My car is literally right there, she was in the mids of getting ready to lock the second layer of Doors and she said, that the doors are locked and wouldn't reopen them for me. I looked at my phone and it said 8:59. I said it wasn't even 9pm yet and she said that I have to go around.Like why!? It only takes you like 4 steps to unclock a door but instead you make me walk around the whole building to get back to my car!Rude customer services!

5 star best review for Charmaine working in Deli dept., best customer service provided by her while I shop often in this store, asked me if I wanted to toast my sandwich and helped me to cut into half, greeting warmly with me at all time. Fred Meyer should be glad to have you as their staff.

Prices are competitive and many times cheaper than Walmart and a better selection. Gas prices are as low as all others in town and much lower if you use Fred Meyer rewards points.

Fred Meyer has easily been one of my favorite grocery stores for as long as I can remember, especially in Monroe. While I do understand that many businesses, and I m sure this one included, is understaffed I feel the checkers get the short end of the stick each time I m there. With an almost 2 year old and well over $200 in groceries, I will obviously not be using self check, though it would often be faster. There s rarely a bagger to assist and as I m trying to keep grabby hands from taking anything around, I don t have the ability or really the energy to bag. It s especially frustrating when I have a straight line of view of customer service with 2-3 employees, arms crossed just chatting and waiting for a customer to line up. I know they could have been on break, but when a customer did approach, they both motioned they could help said customer.I feel this store needs to reevaluate how they delegate tasks. There was one bagger I spotted and the stand he was at was not nearly as busy or with customer with such large orders. The check stands are also not setup to accommodate bagging while ringing up like both Wal-Mart and Safeway in town.Long story short, management needs to reevaluate how tasks are delegated in store to speed things up at the check stands during busy times or large orders.

Difficult to figure out why someone would shop here, I only come when I forget I swore it off. Terrible parking lot layout mean getting in and out is a nightmare. Want to buy a movie/game/book? The cover will be littered in impossible to remove stickers that butcher it if you take it off. Not only do they check ID for everything, they also scan it into their computer systems to store forever. I don't mind ID checks but I'll never buy anything that requires ID here due to them scanning it into their databases. An employee visually verifying 18+ is more than enough. Also the only place I've ever been to check ID for an R movie/M game. The kicker? Iyou have a credit card that gives more back for groceries Fred Meyer doesn't count as a grocery store.

Shame on you, Fred Meyer for "green" products with deceptive labeling. You are displaying straws that claim to be "compostable." There is nothing on the front label to clarify this has nothing to do with normal home composting. Only on the back, in tiny, sneaky little fine print does it say it is NOT COMPOSTABLE in home composts. You are deceiving your customers, who trust you and let our guard down, to be forthright and up front.

Customer service is appalling I brought in a carhart sweatshirt that had a hole in it I'm guessing from the tag. I had the recipe and original tags. The lady at the desk called the manager form the apparel department two times before she showed up. When she did she looked at the printed tag inside the sweatshirt and told me that they didn't sell this item and was very dismissive when I told her that I did buy it from this store. She said that there is no way I bought it there I then asked very politely if I showed her exactly where it was on the rack then would she believe me. They did not let me return it all I was asking for was an exchange. I didn't want cash or in store giftcard or a. It took my girlfriend 2hrs the next day before they finally exchange it. The whole experience left me very upset and disgusted with how I was treated.

This store has changed. The parking lot and door area is filthy. The bulk coffee has no bags to put the beans in, so they put paper bags out for you to use. Beans have an oil and a paper bag soaks the oils and it ruins the beans. Then there is no way to close the paper bag. No tape.. nothing. Asked 3 staff for help, none could help close a paper bag full of beans..They have hired transgenders that are disgusting to look at. It's not a comfortable store to shop at anymore. The staff don't seem to care about anything or notice if something is wrong.

This place legit has everything (at least it seems that way). We were traveling from the east coast and stopped to get groceries we also needed firewood and they had fire starters etc. definitely a good place to stop if you need those random items too! Be aware they have paper bags for your items. (We we re just thankful to have bags!) you can also purchase plastic totes if needed!
