Took my car in July to Corbett Automotive to have him replace the sway bar. James was much cheaper then the dealership, and did an excellent job and had it done sooner then promised. This was the 2nd time i have taken my car in, James is a great mechanic does not try and sell you thing's you do not need. Taking my car back in soon for a tune-up.Service: Engine repair

I had the best experience last year when I took in my Subaru Outback for a pre-inspection before I bought it. James is extremely knowledgeable and great to work with. I always recommend him to everyone I know, you don't find quality and complete honesty in the car industry very often! I trust his word 110%. Highly recommend and I hope to give him my business again!Sincerely a poor college student :)

My car kept overheating and I needed it fixed right away as I was going to be leaving town in just a few days. He took my car in with no wait and finished exactly when he said he would. The shop is a little hidden, but well worth seeking out. He does good work, and is a nice guy to boot. I would heartily reccomend giving him a shot if/when you need work done on your car. I've moved out of Marysville now but if I were still living in the area I would bring my vehicles to James whenever I needed something.

I have been a customer of James for a few years now, the quality has been outstanding. James stands behind all his repairs for well beyond the usual warranty period. I bring my wife's and my mom's vehicles to him - because I trust him implicitly. he does not accept American Express. but then I wouldn't either if they charged me those fees! - seriously - this is the mechanic you have been looking for.

James has been the only mechanic my family has trusted with fixing our vehicles both personal and business for years, and he has ALWAYS been honest as to the exact issues and what needs to be done to fix them and what can wait. His prices are always fair, and he is always quick to complete repairs and is good at keeping in contact with customers throughout the process from drop off to completion. Ive been screwed by other mechanics, but not once by James. Highly knowledgeable and always explains exactly what the issue is, what is causing it and what parts and functions are involved in the issue, even if everything he is saying is going well beyond my knowledge, which I appreciate because he isn't trying to sell me more than what is needed. I learn a lot about the functions and build of my vehicle every time. Highly recommend him as he has never let myself or family down before, or anyone else who trusts him with their business. Keep it up James!

I have had work done on my car several times by James, and the experience has always been good.When my car sheared off the threads in the block for one of the spark plugs, he was able to put in an insert with new threads for only $140 the same day!Another time I had a check engine light on and failed emissions because of it he looked at the car for several hours and was unable to determine the underlying problem, and he didn't charge me at all!It's always good to call before coming in though because he doesn't always work his posted hours, and will sometimes not accept jobs that he isn't equipped/knowledgeable to do.

I did some work on my own truck and wasn't 100% confident in my job. I took the vehicle in for James to give it a final look. He was totally understanding of my DIY job and helped me torque a couple of loose bolts and work out a couple of other bugs. He was very honest and more than fair with his pricing. I will use his shop again.

I have been taking my Tundra to James Corbett for the last 150,000 miles. It is going on 322,000 miles. James has always been honest and caring towards my baby. He has also maintaned our 2008 Diesel Sprinter Van and just recently Rehabbed our 3 ton Ford work truck. Nothing but good things to say about the personal honest service.

James at Corbett Automotive is my go-to mechanic for my Acura TL and Hyundai Santa Fe. He is dependable, knowledgeable and very accommodating to my work schedule for drop offs and pickups.Prices are very fair and James is always willing to explain every detail of the work he does so you're never left wondering what you paid for.Thank you Corbett Automotive!

I had called and discussed the potential problem with my car. The individual I had spoken with seemed confident in where to start so we arranged to meet the following morning at a designated time. When I arrived, the shop was closed, and no one was there. I called the shop, and had to leave a message. I left my name, and Number, and a message explaining who I was, and That I had arranged to meet someone at the shop. I had even asked for them to call as soon as they got in, because I was trying to get the matter handled before the holiday weekend. I waited all day, and to this day! not a single returned call. Hard to say whether or not this is a good shop, when they don't even hold their appointments. I felt mis-treated after the experience, and even madder at myself for putting faith in people. It was a waste of my time, and patience. The shops hours were 8-6 and I had arranged to meet at 9:30. SO why wasn't anyone there? If you call 'em ask them for me please ;)

He did a very thorough used car inspection for me and told me some major regular maintenance to expect coming up soon. Very friendly and professional and took the time to inform me about everything he found on the car. Thanks!

ATTENTION: Call before you go, only works on certain types of vehicles. It's been a long time since I was treated soooo rudely. Got referred by a friend and decided to give it a go. Huge mistake! I was greeted by standoffish and threatening comments, I felt very uncomfortable. My advice, go anywhere else besides this place.

Called asked if he would look at a problem on my car, he said more, I wont anything else??? Lol i dont even know what yo say to that. Tragic is your ability to communicate but whatever works for you guy. If you wanna complain I didnt say goodbye well... bye
