"I had a terrible experience at this specific location. The staff was disrespectful, and they failed to complete the promised work on my car. I had to take my vehicle to another shop to get the job done properly. Avoid this place if you want reliable and respectful service."

The team at Crash Champions is highly responsive. Every time I reached out to them, either by call or text, I received a prompt reply, which was greatly appreciatedHowever, there are areas where Crash Champions could improve:1-Timeline and Parts Ordering Process: My car was dropped off on November 6, with an initial estimate of two weeks for work completion. Unfortunately, due to delays in receiving parts from the Jeep dealership, the process extended to about 45 days. My car was drivable, and it seemed unnecessary for it to remain at the shop for this duration. I've learned that other body shops first estimate the work, order the necessary parts, and then have the car brought in, minimizing downtime for the customer.2- Quality Control: Upon picking up my car, I discovered that my fog light was not working. This oversight suggests a lack of thorough inspection before the vehicle was returned to me. It took an additional 20 days to have the fog light repaired.It would be beneficial for the shop to consider a more efficient process for parts ordering and a more thorough final inspection to ensure all vehicle functions are in order before returning the car to the customer.

My wife had her vehicle repaired at this shop. They completed the work close to the time frame they set out. The day of pick up, an employee hit the car and damaged it again and they rushed to finish it. We can tell where the work was done, so that left us disappointed already. As we are checking the car, we noticed her tabs were stolen. So either a worker stole them or the vehicle was left in such a place that pedestrian stole them. Either way, we would not recommend this shop to anyone.

I wish I could leave a better review. The staff here is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Unfortunately, my experience was plagued with delays and poor communication.I dropped my car off after a fender bender for cosmetic repairs. After 30 days I stopped receiving texts or calls, presumably due to a glitch in their system (Service King claims they were still sending texts and making calls). This was fixed after I pointed it out. After 41 total days I was able to pick up my car while waiting for the final piece to come in.I didn't hear anything back, so I called after two weeks and learned that the part was in, and had been for some time. I made an appointment 9 days later, and was impressed at how quickly that final piece was installed it look less than 20 minutes!

Hi, Crash Champions team! I just wanted to thank you all so much for your exceptional service, from beginning to end. This is the first time in a very long time that I never felt the need to check in for status updates. I received text updates, every few days or so, which gave me all the peace of mind I needed to know that my car was in good hands. Thank you so so much for the efficient and trust-worthy service. Delays upon delays.A 1 month promised turn around is now nearing month 2.They don't even let you take the car while they're waiting for parts. No transparency, tomorrow turns into next week without any details.At this point I am not even sure I will get the car back. Should have not taken my car here they just hustle you and make bad promises.Update: finally got the car back. Perhaps got the car prioritized after yelling around. The work done appears to be good quality.An idea: if the car is drivable give the owner the option to take the car back when the parts are on backorder. Especially if the part delivery goes beyond 2 to 3 weeks - insurance does not cover rental charges. Put a card on file for the parts as collateral.. Let them know once parts are in and car can be repaired and returned within 1 week.Updating review to give a higher review for good job on the car.

This place scams you! AVOID AT ALL COST!!My bumper was hit, the original bumper was damaged was very very minor - it was only warped. But Some how their replacement bumper was warped the same exact way, the only difference is they charged my insurance $5000 for it. Yet the paint was off, and the bumper clearly still need fixing.There was a couple picking up their car when i was there and their brand new bumper has scratches on it and color was off, too.I came back the second time, they claimed they fixed it by replacing my headlight which added another $2250 to my insurance. Yet the bumper still doesn t fit right, it doesn t feel completely secure to the car - exactly how the original bumper was. I compared my bumper and an original bumper on a another car and by fixed bumper is nowhere near the rigidity. Which makes me wonder if it was really a new replacement bumper.After $7250 repair, my bumper still doesn t fit right, it doesn t fit better than my original bumper. The paint protection film they put was was done poorly. Other parts that weren t salvageable were replaced per my knowledge.Avoid this shop at all cost!! Super sketchy! There s a reason why they have the soonest availability and fix everything so quickly! Please check your repair CARREFULLY!!! Before you pay if you already gave them your car.THIS PLACE CHARGES WAY MORE THAN REPUTABLE SHOPS. Save you money and get some quality work at Gerber or Caliber - professional quality and they don t rob your insurance. Gerber and Caliber quality and the cost is worth the wait whether you use insurance or not. You want best quality for your vehicle which this shop doesn t offer.If you got anything replaced by this shop, please verify it was a new replacement with another reputable shop!I also noticed that other 5-star reviews were either just super excited to get their car back that they didn t inspect the repair or they just didn t inspect it carefully. There is a difference between it looked replaced and it is actually replaced. CHECK YOUR REPAIR.

Took my car here as directed by Progressive and felt lucky it was only a 4 week out appointment. Was told repairs would be 2 to 3 weeks to complete the repairs. Wasn't too worried when week 4 started and I called in and car wasn t done, but now it is week 6 and was told they "might" be able to get it back to me next week.

The 196th location was a great experience for us. Our truck got rear ended during the ice storm we had. Called in January to our get truck in but it was booked til March, which was not in the system. After speaking with the gal there she got us in the same day and repairs have started. Enterprise is even right across the street. So convenient, and appreciate them getting our truck in! Thanks!!

Thank you Service King!!!!! My brand new car was t-boned by an uninsured motorist. Service king worked with my insurance and my car looks better than the day i bought it! They detailed the outside and inside of my car and had my car fixed and ready for pick up in 6 days!!! Enterprise is right across the street so Enterprise was able to drop off and pick up the rental car at Service King. Overall, an amazing experience. I would highly recommend!

Update 10/03/2019. I have continued to take my vehicles here since my last review, and have referred my friends here as well. That gives me a grand total of at least 15 years of experience with Aldercrest. In that time, some of the owner's kids have started to work for him and the business has expanded to additional locations. However, the owner (Nick) has managed to keep his standards as high as ever and I continue to be impressed. Every time I go, I take mental notes on how I might improve the customer service within my own business. End update, Begin previous review: These guys are fantastic. I've been taking my vehicles to them for over ten years, total of 4 claims for various reasons. Each time they've been amazing. They've gone above and beyond expectations every time. My entire neighborhood goes to them as well, for the same reasons. Incredible customer service, quality work, they work well with insurance companies even if they aren't on the insurance company's "preferred" or "recommended" list. There's not a single thing they could have done better in any of my experiences with them.

This company did a stellar job. All of the staff were extremely friendly and personable, and I was sent updates throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond in every way. My car was finished sooner than I expected, and they even had the interior detailed. Very impressed with their great work and customer service!

I took my car in to Service King because it was who my car insurance worked with and I m so glad I trusted them to choose the best of the best!!! They communicated about the process the entire time and my car was done sooner than expected. The quality of work they did to fix my passenger quarter panel and some other damage was absolute top tier. I highly recommend anyone to get their cars serviced here. I am a USAA member and brought my car in for service on an insurance claim last month because they work directly with USAA. The girls at the front desk were super friendly and reminded me that there are supply chain shortages and getting the necessary parts in could take longer than usual. Service King had worked directly with Enterprise across the street to bring my rental car to me, so the process was completely seamless and I was on my way home in 20 minutes or less.Within two hours of dropping my car off, I started receiving status update text messages from Manny, keeping me posted about the repair plan. Only three days later, Manny informed me that the parts had arrived and my car would be available to pick up that same day -- soo much faster than expected! Upon inspection, the work looked perfect and again, I was able to just leave the rental car at Service King and they took care of returning it for me, so I was in and out in minutes.Unfortunately, less than two weeks (and a only a few drives) later, the same flood light Service King had just repaired was somehow chipped by a rock. I called and was informed that this was not technically covered by their warranty, but the manager Kyle was awesome and told me he'd take care of it because of my extreme bad luck. Kyle ordered the new part for me and a few days later, I brought the car in and waited at Barnes and Noble next door for two hours while they fixed it a second time, at no cost to me. So happy to have my car back as good as new! I seriously BABY my car and the team at Service King took was all over it. They clearly communicated every step of the process to me, did fantastic work, and came across as quality humans on top of it all. They made sure everything would be up to my standards when I got the car back. I don't love that my car got hit in the first place, but I'm incredibly happy it ended up being repaired by the team here.And on top of all of this, Manny was an absolute gem to work with! This place got bought out or something. Service was terrible. Didn't end up buying anything because of the way they treated me. Very sad. Find somewhere else.Original review - they are NOT like this anymore:They were still willing to look my car over even though I was late due to traffic. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were amazingly good and they actually talked me into less expensive parts when the quality wouldn't matter (e.g. you don't need a brand new, or even like-new, fender guard since you can't see it without getting under the car and its main job is to tank the hit from road crud).Once they had the parts, they worked fast - the car was only out of action for one day and part of another. When my bus was going to be late, they even offered to stay a little later than closing time so I could get my car back that day. Very cool One tip: if your car is still drivable, ask to pay for the parts up front (it costs the same either way); that way, Service King can order them right away and you can keep your car until the parts arrive. The alternative is to leave your car with Service King until the parts show up, which could take quite a while depending on rarity and time of year

Service king repaired our vehicle with a lot of damage so it looks like new. They kept us informed throughout the whole process (we were really impressed). They got parts quickly repaired the vehicle 5 days ahead of schedule including painting. Randy and Sara were our main contacts and very nice and responsive to any questions. After we picked up our vehicle Kyle the manager called us to make sure we were happy customers(and we were). Had front end destroyed on lexus is250. Hood, bumper, drivers door, headlights. No engine damage just outer parts. They fixed the entire thing up and did an amazing job and it looked like new after. Even had an alignment issue a monthish after and they were happy to look at it at no extra charge. Been driving it for 2 years since and no issues at all with any of the work they did.Service: Body & Trim

My wife hit a deer with our 2006 Lexus and pretty much destroyed the entire left front quarter of the car. Aldercrest was where I intended to take it as they had done a small touch-up on the car previously and had not charged me. I felt I would get good service with them. As it turned out they are on my insurance company's preferred list so that part of it went very smoothly.My wife was recovering from surgery when the car was done (earlier than the promised time) so I was unable to pick it up for over a week. Sean offered to get it to their side of the ferry in Mukilteo if that would make it easier. As it turned out I was able to get a friend to take me to the shop so that was unnecessary.Throughout the process both Aldercrest and my insurance company (Hartford) were great to work with.Prior to the work being done the shop provided me with a complete list of all parts that needed replacing and all associated costs.The work they did was flawless. The car looks better than when we bought it. I have only had it a day but I looked it over pretty carefully and could find no indication that it had been damaged. Perfect paint match and they even replaced the clear vinyl chip guard.I have no idea about their pricing in relation to other shops as the insurance company paid for all but my deductible. I would think, however, that if their pricing was out of line the insurance company wouldn't deal with them. Additionally their work is guaranteed for as long as we own the car.All in all excellent work and great customer service.I am very pleased and would recommend them.

I am an extremely picky person, take pride in maintaining/servicing my vehicle, and was extremely worried about the damage to my truck when someone backed into it in a parking lot. I was referred to the Alderwood Service King location in Lynnwood, WA by a co-worker of mine, and decided to take my vehicle in for a repair estimate. Nick, and the crew at the Alderwood Service King, were very compassionate, understanding, and reassured me (and all of my concerns with the damage) throughout the entire process of my insurance claim. They handled my claim with the utmost importance, and were very helpful in explaining/advocating, on my behalf, with the insurance company about the actual true extent of damage, and the necessary repairs to return my vehicle to its original condition. I am absolutely satisfied with the final results, and very appreciative with the amount of time and effort that went in to reassuring my concerns with the damage that was done (and the repair process) to my vehicle. I went to pick up my truck from Nick, and the crew at Alderwood, this morning, and I am extremely happy with the results of the repairs that were done... as if nothing ever happened... the way it should be!! I will definitely return, and would highly recommend their services, if you have damage to your vehicle and are in need of repair. Thank you Alderwood Service King!!!
