Make sure you ask them to print out a quote for you before you even give them your keys to do work on your car because they will lie and tell you the cost of the repair will be a lot less than what they actually end up charging you on the work order at the end of the job after they are done. Dropped my vehicle off earlier in the day and left it there for nearly 5 hours with nothing done. I had to have them look at the vehicle nearly THREE times to get the right assessment. Basically a waste of time . They seem friendly though but labor wise I wouldn't recommend this place, hopefully they learn from their mistakes.

My wife was in the hospital for ovarian cancer. Visiting was essential. My Durango broke down needing a new alternator. After many places wanting 600+ dollars and able to have the car back in 4 days, I went to Safety Auto Repair. I want to thank Mohammad and staff for, after hearing my plight, he said he'd have the car back within 3 hours for $300. He has no idea what he had done for me and my wife. I can't thank him enough for what he had done. He will be my go to guy for any car repairs. Thank you again sooo much.Service: Electrical

This kind gentleman "Mohammed" is a gift to the industry, how relieved I was that a friend sent me a text that said " Safety Auto Repair " is where my brother goes. Just 1 phone call and my problem with my 2012 Prius V with 200169 miles and having its 1st Repair issue ever and I was saved from having my Pockets raided by Dealership Unreasonable Prices , got my car back in 50 minutes in Perfect condition , I'm a Happy Man you just don't know how much A gentleman for all seasons.

Awesome honest mechanics! I found them by accident after Firestone messed up a battery replacement that left my car unable to accelerate on the speedway and they were the closest mechanics to me. They fixed the car up in no time and got me on my way. They recently replaced my alternator belts and reassured me about a check engine light. Will never go to a different mechanic, Mohammed and his team are amazing. My dad s been coming here forever and now I m a loyal customer.The best service I ve ever seen!

i cannot praise Mohammed enough! i was recommended his shop from an Auto Zone manager for my catalytic converter and i am forever grateful. Mohammed has helped me with multiple car issues in the past, most recently when i totaled my car in the snow. He is always very honest, communicative and i am always blown away with the price and efficiency. i have referred my friends, co-worker and boyfriend and will continue to do so.

Had a fantastic experience here. After receiving a very competitive quote and the ability to fit me in quickly, I went ahead and had them swap out my fuel pump for my Truck. I dropped my truck off in the morning, had it worked on in the afternoon, and picked it up all done that same evening. Top notch and speedy work.I appreciated the fact they showed me the old parts without prompting as well as the packaging from the new parts, shows a high level of integrity and transparency with their work. Staff were super friendly, polite and professional.I was able to use a loaner that my kids thoroughly enjoyed and didn't miss any work to get things back on track.Overall this was an excellent experience and I'd definitely recommend their services. Will definitely be using them again should my cars need any work.Service: Oil change

I don t recommend them. They quoted me 2 times what the dealer eventually charged me. Dealer offered new genuine parts and lifetime warranty with Toyota. They quoted me x2 what dealer wanted for sale job and aftermarket parts with wait time. I do not recommend them.

Mohammed is one of the most honest mechanics I ve found in the area. He has always been fairly priced, very good experience, professional and very easy to speak with. My hubby went here first because they were close. He said they were a pretty honest group of fellas. I took my car the next week with issues and sure enough, they were honest and upfront and charged me what was quoted and kept in touch with me every step of the way. We sent my daughter here also and they are now are family mechanics. Seriously, I never refer if I wouldn't go myself and these guys are really great, you won't be disappointed. Also, they stand by their work which is a quality that is hard to find.Services: Electrical, Battery

Brought my truck in on Friday to get some new spark plugs, and ignition coils. Job turned out to a bit of a project. Some of the plugs broke off in the process to remove them. The job went into Saturday. Saturday began to come to a close, and I was thinking I wasn't going to get my truck back until Monday. Then just after 9 P.M. Mohammad called me and let me know they were still working on it and were almost done! Got to pick up my truck on Saturday after all! THANKS EVERYONE!!

I was about 200 miles from home when my transmission on my car went out at about 8pm. I was a short distance from this shop and saw it had great reviews online. I called at about 830pm expecting an answering machine. Instead the owner, Mohammad, answered and told me to have my car towed and leave it at his shop and he would take a look in the morning.Long story short, Mohammad went above and beyond. He answered outside of business hours. He stayed in communication with me and updated me on the problem and different resolutions. Mohammad found me a transmission for a great price and installed it very quickly. My car was back up and running within a week and at a fantastic price!!!It could have really been a mess of a situation. Mohammad is an absolute all star and I would recommend anyone having car troubles to seek him out. I'm debating a 200 Mile drive for any future car issues at this point, assuming the car can make it, to give him my future business. He was really that awesome! I'm a lifetime fan at this point!!!Service: Transmission

They took care of me very well ! I brought in a foreign car Audi Q7, came late after calling them, needed the work done urgently on a Sunday. They were about to close, they still took my car. The battery needed replacement on my vehicle & is located under seat & job probably takes an hr or bit less since since there are special bolts etc. They fixed it quickly & very friendly service! Thanks !

Needed my radiator replaced. Was quoted $900+ somewhere else. Found this shop on Yelp. Great reviews. They got the job done for $500. Super friendly and honest. Very up front. They work with you! Not for u or against you. So happy I found them. Thanks guys!

I am so thankful I have found this place. Mohammad had no idea how much he has helped me out providing such affordable services. As a single mom with no car experience and little income, I would have been ripped off taking my car to other places. His genuineness to help saved me hundreds of dollars, and I never had to wait too long. Once, I didn't have enough cash on hand with me, and he was willing to put the rest of the bill on my next visit! I doubt you could find a nicer guy and that's why I'll keep coming back! I only wish I had found him before I purchased my used car for an inspection. This will be the only place I'm taking my business to. I usually do oil change at the dealership, last visit to dealership, they told me of a list of things needed to get fixed with price tag almost $2k, I was in a rush and felt it's too much. A month later, I had a warning sign on the display and friend recommended this mechanic. I dropped my car at this mechanic, the next day, the mechanic called me and informed me of list of things must be fixed. I compared what they recommended to fix with the dealer list. I was amazed with the professionalism and skill of the mechanic in diagnosing and discovering of the problems, the advice I was given to prioritize what should be fixed first and the pricing was very fair.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

I have taken 2 vehicles to this shop and honestly they've done good work and given fair pricing up until I brought my 3rd vehicle in. I was told that it would take at least 3 days to fix the issues and was quoted a price the same day I brought it in. My issue is that instead of keeping communication with me about anything else that needed to be fixed besides what I told, there should have been in no way, shape, or form I should've had to hunt them down about updates. So here we are on the 3rd day and I go in the shop and I am told there is yet another problem. Which is understandable because cars can have multiple issues while fixing them but instead of trying to help come up with a solution I was called difficult while trying to express my frustration about not being communicated with about MY vehicle. Honestly felt like problems were being made up to get more money because once I took it and did a diagnostic the issues they claimed to be there weren't there. COVID-19 regulations are being violated, I seen no mask in sight on anybody working. Bottom line, not only my time but theirs was wasted due to NO work being completed on my car, was almost over charged and thrown in my face about what I wasn't charged for, and I would never trust to bring another vehicle here.[EDIT]: So let's not forget that you guys told me that you did not feel like you were "good enough" to work on the vehicle simply because I was trying to communicate to you my frustration and you chose to talk over me and not listen. Your the mechanic shop, obviously if i dont know whats wrong that's the whole point of bringing it to you. I see your trying to uphold your good image on these reviews but we will not dodge the bullet that you're still missing the whole point. Also, since we're willing to tell my whole business to the world (which I consider to be very unprofessional) is the exact reason why I am writing this review. After I got it fixed, there was NOTHING wrong with my radiator, my transmission is NOT delayed, and yes I did tell you that I did not have the $ to fix but that is NOT something you respond back with. So I'd appreciate it if you would take accountability as a business. If you're going air me out state what you did as well.

Honest, fair, efficient and truly remarkable service! Mohammed did a great job diagnosing the problem with my car, explained the process needed to correct it and even offered door to door delivery. My car is much safer to drive now and I am so happy I chose this team. 10/10 highly recommend! Keep up the great work!

I want to say first and foremost that when I took my car in with a battery issue last November, they did a phenomenal job, quickly and cheaply got me fixed and on my way. That's why they're rated as high as they are.The second time I went there, I dropped my car off at the start of a Tuesday with an overheating engine, a coolant leak, and a check engine light that indicated the need for a thermostat replacement. I called toward the end of the day after hearing nothing, and was told they attempted replacing the radiator cap but still couldn't identify the source of the leak.Fast forward towards the end of the day Wednesday, and they said they had to replace the thermostat hose and it would be done tomorrow. I got the car back at the very end of the day Thursday, drove it for 5 minutes, only to have an even worse leak and the same overheating problem and check engine light. I brought it back, next day they say they have to order the part (a different hose) special and it won't be available until Monday. I agree to wait. They tell me I can have a loaner, but one never becomes available.By the very end of the day Monday, I get the car back, check engine light is still on, but no obvious overheating, or leak. I drive it very lightly for a couple of days, only to have all the same problems reappear.I take it to a different place, where within one day they identify a visible crack on my radiator, what I suspect is the real cause of all my problems. This other place actually test-drove it, whereas Safety Auto only left it running and waited. Could've saved me hundreds of dollars, but they didn't look hard enough and treated symptoms instead of causes, while leaving me largely in the dark for the whole ordeal unless I reached out to them. Will not be taking any future vehicle there if and when I have issues.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Battery

PLEASE READ! They damage my transmission and Hood!! WORST SHOP EVER!!!I started taking my car there to get some work done on my car I found them through Yelp as I requested services first two times I went there for suspension work was completely fine until they left everything went horribly wrong the shop takes zero accountability has no idea what they're doing unprofessional and will screw you over! I've had to Major incidents that have cost me hundreds of dollars and now thousands first mistake they made was leaving a tool in my hood preventing it from latching. Me and my daughter we're on our way home after leaving safety Auto when are Hood flew up hitting the windshield it was the most scariest thing for me and my daughter and I had to pay for a tow truck my hood was extremely warped and bent I had to pay for it to get fixed. When I called them to address the issue with them they immediately denied it without even hearing what had happened and took zero accountability I even drove to them and show them the tool that he removed out of mine engine bay and placing it in the shop as it was his. After we came to an agreement they were going to offer me free service that never got completed second incident that happened resulted in me having to replace my whole entire transmission!! After changing my transmission fluid they overfilled it by 2 quarts resulting in the fluid leaking through a seal that can only be fixed by pulling out the transmission. I've had to pay for all their mistakes with no reimbursement or no accountability or responsibility of their mistakes at all whatsoever I contact them and communicate to them and have given them any chances with no resolution they refuse to pay at this point whatever you do do not take your car to safety Auto please.Add Note!! Their response below is simply far from the truth!! The real question is, was I compensated in any way? Was I held financially responsible for both to mistakes? The answer to both of those questions are YES! they took zero responsibility resulting in me over $$$2,000 in Damages by their negligence so please Choose Wisely!

I was at the Chevron across the street with a busted radiator hose. A worker at Chevron sent me to this repair spot. I showed up around 7pm on a Friday with no appointment. They had my car fixed and I was gone by 8. They're super nice, relaxed, honest, and cheap. I'm really glad my car happened to bust on me so I could meet this crew. Thank you again for helping me!

I work at a local Dealership and my Land Rover needed front end work. I brought my own parts but unfortunately I got the wrong ones so they returned them for me and ordered the correct parts, then since it took longer than expected which was my fault they fixed a electrical issue I had for free. I will go back to them when I need a great and honest Repair Shop and recommend them to anyone who reads this review.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair
