The people at Foreign Engines are some of the best people in the industry! I ve been in the salvage industry for 14 years. Not only are they very knowledgeable about their products, they are among an elite and very small group of places that exhibit excellent customer service! To be honest, I ve spoken to Johnny, Bill, Sean, and Sabian and every single one of them are super nice, super smart, and only give the best customer service! I ve dealt with literally hundreds of other salvage yards and multiple people at each of those yards. Not one of those yards have had a group of employees like the people at Foreign Engines where every single person had a great attitude, didn t make you feel like a burden to talk to, actually knew their products, have excellent communication skills, and most importantly, gave you the best customer service! Trust me when I say that will treat you right! They are the best of the best. Don t believe me? Call any other used parts place in the U.S.A. and you will see.One last thing, to the person who wrote a one star review: Any part like an intake manifold, exhaust manifold, basically anything except the block and heads are left on for convenience s sake and no yard anywhere will guarantee it. Not one.

I bought a h23a from them and I love it. All though it did look like it has been sitting in storage or the boat for a while but overall it runs and I just had to inspect the internals (rusted LMA springs), replace some serviceable parts and clean it before installation. Employees were happy to help and show me the motor before buying. Free and fast delivery in the Seattle area (residential address).

Very happy with my purchase of a Subaru EJ25 50k motor. Took me a while to put in my Subaru. But, once it was in and everything was hooked up. I turned the key and it started. The motor sounds great and I am almost at the recommend 500 mile oil change with no issues. A big thank you to the staff at Foreign Engine Inc. keep up the great work! You deserve my coveted 5 star status.

I bought a used 2-way diff from these guys for my drift s13 and it still locks like new 2 years after purchasing! I love this place now, their customer service is exquisite. Shout out to Johnny!!!! I'm a forever-customer!

I got an engine for a 1998 Toyota Camry here. It was an exceptionally clean engine and the stocked items around it were neatly stacked, secured, and tagged. Jordan helped me out the most by explaining what sorts of things would have to be swapped out and general things to do before putting the engine in. Very good prices and selection with very knowledgeable staff. Even when I couldn't make it back up to Lynnwood, they helped to arrange a dropoff at a halfway point. Bob the driver was very nice and a huge help getting the engine into my truck. He explained the parts warranty and was able to answer the questions I had. What a very nice, good, hard working company. Foreign Engines is amazing.

Pros: One of the best used-engine warranties in the business (1 year on non-turbo) engines. They also paid for the labor (not under warranty) for a 2nd engine for me since the oil light came on immediately after installation and wasn't resolvable by the installation shop. Sabien took care of this and is awesome.Cons: The "50k miles average" is totally made up. Per the shop, "we have no idea how many miles are on the engine." So don't be fooled - the first engine I got had a sticker on it indicating the timing chain had been replaced at 124k miles. So, caveat emptor. Lastly, like the other comments, "customer service" isn't their strong suit - the guy at the desk wasn't necessarily rude, but he sure as hell doesn't qualify for "friendly."

Great customer service and satisfaction ended up with the wrong transmission Foreign engines shipped me the right transmissionDidn't ask for the wrong cor back cAnd the shipping was free.Unheard of service anymore. 100% recommendation!!

I've ordered an engine and transmission from LFE and have had prompt and good service both times. I had many issues with my mechanic during the process of swapping my transmission and Fabian in the warranty dept had an endless well of patience and kindness for myself and my *impatient* mechanic. If I ever need another engine (godwilling I don't), Lynnwood Foreign Engines will be getting my business.

I purchased a high comp b20b from their shop and received it next day (i live nearby) unfortunately the engine i received was in subpar condition. Corrosion and rust on the engine itself and the spark plugs were soo corroded they were unable to be removed. I called them next day and the following day they had somebody out to drop off what looked like a motor with under 20k on it. No oil stains no corrosion and ive been beating on it in my civic for over a month now. Wasnt very pleased with the first motor but the customer service and quick exchange of said motor will make me want to shop through them again.

I've used this company in the past (my contact used to be Julie), purchased an SR20det as well as a 2nd gen 3000GT VR4 front clip ... I recently called to try and find a front clip / engine for my skyline (talked to some guy on the phone) and received the worst customer service. I will definitely not be using this company and will be taking my business elsewhere.

10 years ago when I used to come here to buy engines it was no problem. The other day I went by there to spend $1,000 on an engine. The guy was on the phone when I walked in. He looked at me like "what do I want." I asked him if he had a particular Nissan engine, he looked at his chart and said no. I asked well do you know of any other places where I could possibly get that engine? And he just said no we're not affiliated with other shops. I don't know who he was but he was rude with me. And I was there to spend $1,000 on an engine. like I said 10 years ago this place wasn't like that. Just my recent experience with them.

Great place to get a quality used engine!! I blew my engine on Thursday, purchased the engine from Foreign Engine Inc on Friday, had it installed and driving on Saturday! It was clean nothing missing and ready to drop in. Great customer service will do business again..

Went to get transmission frm these guys and they didn't have one for my car, they don't deal with manuals, thanks to Sabina, he sent me to a place just about a block away and they took care of me. If you have a suzuki type car, make real sure you tell them everything, and make sure they understand what you want so you don't waste your time.

Great people especially Julie she knows her stuff. I have purchased over 500 engines from them over the past 30 years and only a few ever had issues, and if they did Foreign Engines would take care of me and make it right!! Thanks

Bought two engines first one came out great second one was bad very low compression buyers be aware return process with the warranty Is a long process too a point that it would save you time purchase a block from the dealership I live 2 1/2 hours from Lynnwood to find out the engine was trash and to drive back with it and be aware with purchase do a compression test right there and then

Worst experience over the phone ever, called them about a 1jzgte and i received the worst customer service ever, both guys were extremely rude and didnt seem to really care, as well as giving me wrong information about inventory that they had, they also refused the do a compression test on the motors or give me the japan specs that they received about compression when getting them in, which surprised me because they are selling used engines, id basically be taking a 50/50 chance on a motor, reason i called is because im in the PNW area as well as them which would be closer for pickup but i will definitely be taking my money and business elsewhere, rather have one shipped from California knowing what specs and motor i'm getting than taking a chance from them.

Nice guys knowledgeable, but over priced. You can buy the same motor of ebay from a reputable dealer same warranty they offer for 500 dollars cheaper.
