Someone stole my catalytic converter from my Lexus RX 350--sawed it right out in the middle of the night in the parking lot of my apartment complex so I called the Lexus dealership to see what shop in the area they recommend and they told me to check out Dan Fast. I worked with Darnel at Dan Fast and he was great! They were very responsive to phone calls, realistic with timelines (I called on a Wednesday and he honestly told me his shop was full so it'd be better to wait to bring my car in until Friday AM). Got my car towed there on Friday around 11am and my car was done by Saturday morning at 9:30am!!! Very fast and efficient! Dan Fast was definitely fast.Heads up, they charge a 3% fee for credit card transactions but accept debit card transactions or cash if you don't feel comfortable typing in your pin.

The mechanical guy in my neighborhood recommended us here . They were able to fix my muffler at a very reasonable price. Professional and good at what they do. Very pleased with the outcome . Highly recommended

First come first serve. Able to make the modifications needed to reduce volume while maintaining tone and bringing down drone. Very reasonable price for the work done. Would recommend.

I'd like to thank the team at Dan Fast in Lynnwood/Edmonds for the great job they did installing a new exhaust on my 1970 Cougar XR7! Headers fitted along with Magnaflow stainless mufflers and full exhaust and tips. They also installed upgraded StopTech front rotors, new calipers and brake lines along with new EBC pads (parts supplied by myself). In addition they replaced leaking rear axle seals and bearings and rebuilt the rear brakes. A few other items were also installed including front wheel bearings, spring perches/isolators and front shocks also supplied by myself.Jay, Jeff, Brandon and Darnell all have my gratitude for their great customer service and care in making sure everything was done to perfection!I would highly recommend Dan Fast and this team for your car mods/repairs! Job well done!!!

I dropped my truck off early AM and they had my air conditioning fixed within an hour. They also changed a head light bulb for me at no additional cost. Visited for a quote on a custom exhaust setup. Worked with Darnell and he was nothing but honest and professional the entire time. Took the time to get my vehicle on the lift, put some ideas together and had a good conversation. Quote for the work and materials was very reasonable and I will return to Dan Fast once to complete the work.

I needed a part welded and went to Midas in Bothell who wanted to overcharge and they didn't really want to give me the time of day. So I visited Dan's Fast Muffler for the first time. Watch out for the upsell. This is a common ploy to increase their profit.I was shopping around for a muffler replacement and originally quoted $275 but when they had it up on a lift, they said the exhaust system needed new pipes, ramping up the cost to $450. I found a shop elsewhere and it cost me $150 for the job.That was all I needed, no more no less.Shop around and beware of additional work they deem "required" and that applies to other shops. Great service, super friendly and helpful! My catalytic converter got stolen & I brought my car by, expecting it would take at least a few days (if not weeks) to get the replacement part and repairs done. But Dan Fast got it done in 2 hours!! They even bumped up the timeline because I had somewhere to be that afternoon, juggling things around in the shop to make it easy for me.Service: Exhaust

I've been a happy customer at Jeff's Auto Repair in Lynnwood for many years, but they aren't set up to replace exhaust systems. They recommended Dan Fast to me when my catalytic converter died. Excellent choice! The guys at Dan Fast took my van right into a bay, and I had an estimate within 10 minutes. The price was better than I expected, which is always a plus for me. They gave me a ride home and picked me up again when the van was ready 2 hours later--exactly as promised. The results were amazing. The van is purring like a kitten, and there's still money in my pocket. Highly recommended!Service: Exhaust

I WILL NEVER RETURN!!! I've been doing business with the Lynnwood store since the early 1980's with good results. Now, I WILL NEVER RETURN!!! The current staff is unfriendly, not helpful, rude, impolite, disrespectful and use every excuse to get you to go away. I normally don't take time to leave reviews but Dan Fast definitely deserves this one. They were able to not only assess my vehicle, but make the repair within a few hours. On top of that they threw in a free exhaust tip and beat the price I was quoted up front by 20% due to some parts of the job going easier than they expected. I was also given free advice on another auto issue I am having that I mentioned when wrapping up the transaction. What more could you ask for out of auto repair than dependable, timely and honest service. These guys understand the value of underpromising and overdelivering. Thank you Jay and shop for building me a custom exhaust! You went above and beyond my expectations and didn t charge me an arm and a leg. These guys are awesome, you won t regret paying them a visit. Professionals that are passionate about what they do and know their stuff. You can tell by the quality of the work, hands down. Absolutely didn t expect it to be as good as it came out. Looks and sounds exotic!

Walt was awesome, straight up not pushy didn't try to over sell me and got me in and out fast. The guys working on my truck were very professional and worked fast. Definitely recommend for fair price for quality workmanship.

These guys are awesome! My muffler fell off on my Civic and they replaced it with a nicer looking muffler in less than an hour! The price was $100 less than the other shop I received a quote from! Highly recommend Dan Fast

Thieves tried to jack my catalytic converter cutting halfway through the muffler pipe when they must have been scared off (my alarm possibly). Jeff, Jay and Darnell took care of me the next day by welding it up. I guess I got lucky it could have cost $1200.00 They didn't even charge me. They now have a customer for life as well as my friends and family.I'm going to have them install a Cat Strap and Cat Eye Anti-theft system to prevent future attempts.Thank you so much guys. We needed a quick spot weld on our motorhome s exhaust before traveling home 65 miles away. Jay took the stress out of our situation saying to just bring it in. When we arrived the motorhome was immediately in the shop and up on a lift. We were there around 15 minutes and the price was right! Love this place! Brandon totally saved the day when my car died right in front their shop on Hwy 99...during rush hour traffic! He was able to jump my car and get it into their parking lot and fixed it right then and there just as they were about to close up for the night. I am so grateful and will recommend them to everyone I know!

I took my 2002 Saturn LW300 to them because my catalytic converter was completely clogged. I was going to shop around but was stuck because my car died on the way there. I wish I towed it to the Sonny's Auto Repair in Shoreline, they were about $500 cheaper. The crew at Dan's was nice but they charge excessive pricing for their parts. The same parts on Amazon or O'Reily Auto Parts for about $500. They charged me $1,080 plus 2 hours to install for $1,250. They gave me a verbal quote while I was there but forgot to mention tax which bumped it up to a total of $1,400. If I had towed it to Sonny's, it would have been far less, including the cost for towing.Don't get me wrong, they were cool guys and did a good job installing, but their mark up on pricing is highway robbery. Some mark up is fine but over twice the price is crazy. I won't go back there again.

I pulled in on zero notice and these boys really treated me right! Joe is awesome and had me out of the way in no time flat. Had an oil change, and he even looked into some leak issues i had with my sun roof. Come and see these guys if you want a job well done by some friendly people.

I came in for a brake inspection and I sincerely appreciate their approach to pro-actively replacing more than just pads. I trusted their advice to replace the calipers and rotors based on the uneven wear. A lot of brake shops would just ignore that and get you out the door faster.
