I've gotten my brakes done here on my last two cars I've owned. You won't find another shop like it. Bare bones and honest work. Ive never been up sold or pressured into work that wasn't necessary. I appreciate all the guys being honest about what needs done now and what can wait. You won't find a better price at any other break shop.

I've been a loyal client of this business since 2018, but my recent visit was a major disappointment. I noticed a strange noise coming from my car's brakes, so I, as usual, went to Brake For Less. However, something had changed this time.I discovered that the business had been taken over, and the new owner gave me an outrageous estimate of $1,650 before taxes to replace the brakes. That's absolutely ridiculous. When I mentioned that the same service cost me around $700 last year, he insisted I had never been there before. His excuse? I had changed my license plate, and when he discovered, that I was an old customer, he used that as an opportunity to complain about expensive parts, maybe a way to justify his quote? It's clear what happened here - he assumed I was a new customer and decided to take advantage of me. I walked out, determined not to go through with it.To my surprise, I went to the dealership (which is typically more expensive than auto shops), and they charged me only $900 for the same service that Brake For Less had quoted at $1,650. Typically, dealerships use only genuine parts for replacements, so I'm left wondering what could explain such a stark price difference?I even went to 2 other auto shops that charged me $820, and $750 for the same service they were proposing to perform.I'm sorry to say that you've lost a long-time customer. You used to be known for your honesty, but it seems like that's changed. I had recommended this place to friends and family because of the fair and honest service I received. It was known as a reliable and trustworthy establishment. However, this recent incident has shaken my faith in the integrity of the business. It's disheartening to think that a change in ownership could lead to such a dramatic shift in how they treat their customers. While I understand that prices may increase due to inflation, it's important for businesses to maintain their commitment to honesty and fairness.I hope Brake For Less takes this feedback to heart and reevaluates its approach to customer service. Ripping off loyal clients is not a sustainable or ethical way to do business, and it tarnishes the reputation that they had built over the years. For the answer of the business: a 250% increase is not because of things are getting expensive and yes you tried to rip me off, even dealership was cheaper than you guys. All other 3 quotes i got was at least $800 cheapest than you guys.

Excellent, timely service. Arrived for my appointment to find a busy, organized shop with everyone hard at work. The reviews are accurate, this shop is the real deal. I will continue to bring my Chevy Duramax 3500 and other vehicles here.Service: Brake service & repairService: Brake service & repair

Went for brake pad and rotor replacement. Costed $400 for the rear axle. Not all locations have brake replacement services all the time, so I would recommend calling before going. I'm not sure if I got the best price but seems like they did a good job and I didn't have to book an appointment in advance. The location has a small waiting area, drinking water, and a restroom.

I have recently used their service for replacing brakes of my car (Mercedes GLE). Firstly they took 2 days in completing the work as they had some technical issue at their side (they mentioned to me that computer wasn t working). Further after finishing the work as well, my car was still warning about break pad replacement was not fixed. They told me that this is my car communication system has issue and I should show it someone who is expert of European cars. They charged me full price for brakes work as they told me that it is my car communication system issue and brakes work is done properly and rotor, sensors & break pads are replaced properly. I showed the car to their suggested car repair shop. They looked at the error and immediately told me break pad sensor must not be properly installed otherwise car break pad warning would have gone away automatically. Further, they looked at sensor and told me that it needs replacement as sensor looks be broken while installation . I reordered the sensors from Mercedes and got them replaced now and warning is also gone. But it is very sad & disappointing for customer that they did not install sensors properly and I need to reorder them and get them installed again. Additionally, they put the fault on the car warning system and charged full amount that they initially decided for the work despite of not able to finish the committed work .

Fast and excellent service. Kind, experienced, and I was charged a fair and affordable price for the work that I needed to have done. I needed the driver and passenger side complete front brakes redone on my jeep cherokee and they had it all done in the same day that I dropped it off. Great place. To check in your vehicle for work was actually in the garage itself which may be a little confusing at first but the staff was kind and lead me to the right place. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone needing any brake related work on their car or truck.

Had brakes done on two cars in September. In December had a brake issue one my 2006 truck. the week after xmas. Even though they were closed that week, the owner came in and assessed our brakes (broken bolt) and fixed it. You don't find companies that do that anymore. So happy and gratefull for their awesome service. Will definitely use again.Service: Brakes

About 6 months ago I went to Pep Boys to get new tires. They said my brake pads were pretty low and I would need to change them in the next few months. So I scheduled an appointment here, they said my brakes and pads are in excellent shape, no need to do anything. Pep Boys likely trying to make more business. Such honest and kind people, I won t be taking my business anywhere else from now on. You can also make appointments online which is super valuable to me. Highly recommend!

After going to Les Swabb who told me I needed new front brakes these guys told me I needed new front and rear brakes and rotors, of which I needed none. My brakes or rotors weren't even half worn. Do your due diligence people and have a independent mechanic inspect your car .

I have never in my life, had an experience with a car repair like this one! Took my SUV in to have the breaks changed after hearing a squeak... to my shock and amazement, after they inspected the breaks they told me the only thing I needed was to have a nice day, the break pads and rotors are in great shape. WHAT? They could have said the pads and rotors were shot, and I would have paid. To have a mechanic be this honest brought me to tears. If you are looking for a mechanic that will be a straight shooter, and not take advantage, please go see Don and these guys! I know I will. Thank you Don and team!

They were quick to get me in... they were quick to get me out. They were also charming, knowledgeable, and the customer service was on point. Oh, and did I mention my brakes work like a dream? What else can I say? I think the mark of good service is feeling more than comfortable in going back to the place that helped you. I definitely do. You got an issue with your brakes? Go here.

These guys are do great work at at great price, not charging any more than necessary. I take all my cars there for the whole family. When inspecting the brakes on our Highlander recently he noticed a slight noise on a road test and adjusted the caliper. Since the pads still had life in them he recommended checking them again in about 6000 miles and didn't charge me at all despite probably putting almost an hour of labor into it.

I brought my 00' Saturn in less than a week ago to get the back brakes checked out. They were able to get me in quickly, and got to my car right away. After that, the mechanics SHOWED me what needed to be done, instead of telling me and spitting a bunch of automobile jargon in my face. I agreed to the repair, and they were able to get it done same day!!! They even gave me a deal on everything! I was expecting to not walk out of there without at least a 600 dollar repair and the guys gave me a quote that was very reasonable and affordable. All of the mechanics were super nice, straightforward and down to earth. If you are looking for an honest, affordable and positive experience, Brakes for Less is the place to go!

Scheduled for all around brake check and service as required for my 2013 F150. I have to say the reputation of good reviews is well deserved for Brakes For Less. 30 minutes after a Saturday drop off they completed thier pre-work inspection and called me back with a cost quote for rear brake pads and machining rotors only being required. No upcharges like a dealership and other private shop tried to do on prior quotes. The total cost was significantly lower than other comparables as well. Work was completed well within the estimated period reserved. At pickup I spoke to the mechanic Mark who was very friendly and detailed in explaining the overall condition of my trucks brakes. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending everyone I know to use Brakes For Less.Service: Brakes

last year when i was 16, i brought my car to this shop to get new brakes and they did it successfully and then later on one of the guys told me that one of my rear lights was about to go out and showed the lightbulb and what kind i should get. few seconds later the guy dropped it on accident and shattered in front of my face and he offered to get me a new one for free and i said thanks i appreciate it. didn t have a spare at the place so he went to another car shop to get the lightbulb and replaced it no charge. it was funny and good customer service :)Service: Brake service & repair

I m a new customer so I allowed 1 week to test if my brakes will work or fail in order to make my review. So far, everything works great and the price says it all. It s $200 less than the dealer and $100 less than Midas. Brakes For Less did a very good job. I only asked to get the front brakes fixed but they checked my rear brakes as well. In addition, they also adjusted my parking brakes for free..Highly recommended! Honest and very professional team of folks.

My family has taken their vehicles to Tom and the guys for years due to their honesty, great work, affordability . When I moved to the area, and needed my brakes to get looked at, Brakes for Less is the shop I called . I was not disappointed and was incredibly impressed with the team . I had a vibration and a light squeak in my front brakes and Tom and the team looked at it and informed me that I did not need new pads for another 6 months or so. From experience , there are not many shops that are that honest and not try to sell you something that you don t need then. It is refreshing . Due to that honesty , I will be bringing my truck back to Brakes for Less in 6 months and will continue to as long as I am in the area. Thank you Tom for running a shop the way it is supposed to be run .

I don't know a more honest and reputable brake service shoo around. Not only does Tom, or any other of the employees take the time to honestly let you know whether or not you need to replace brakes or rotors, the prices cannot be beat. It's awesome to have a go-to business that isn't in it to just make money off of you when you may not even need work done!

"Brake for Less is the best mechanic I've ever met."I had a vibrating brake issue on recently bought used car, which turned out bumpy rotor meaning the prev owner didn't resurface while he changed the pads.I visited local mechanic in Kirkland, and their estimates was over $500. The reason is that "the rotor is warped, and the pads are too bad to create too much heat, so both rotors and pads has to be replaced."I walked out because the estimate was way higher than I expected, and paid $20 dollars for estimation.A week later, I visited Brake For Less. The guy drove my car, and disassemble brakes for inspection. After that, he told me that all parts are new, and resurfacing is enough with $75. I was shocked because it was too different from the Kirkland local mechanic. I was suspicious if they were correct because of $75 vs $500 comparison. They worked about one and half hours to resurface, test drive, checked tire air pressure (which I didn't ask them, but they did thankfully), and I just paid $75.The issue is gone, and I am very happy about the service and the end result. If you have brake issue, you definitely have to come to Brake for Less.

I was here a few months ago after a botch job at discount tires and the guys at breaks for less were incredibly friendly and helpful. They diagnosed my problem after three other shops failed to do so and sent me on my way with a solution and didn t charge anything! So I recently had a separate problem, due to the nature of my car and special parts, they were unable to service it, but were very helpful in explaining the problem and where to get it serviced.I really appreciate their dedication to good customer service and wish I could come here with all my issues.

I could only give them 5 stars, but, would give them more if I was able to. What an awesome place to take your vehicle. I can t say enough about it. You don t have to wait a week to get an appointment, and the owner is such a friendly and caring person. Not to mention, his workers are also very nice. Someone recommended them to me last year, and I totally recommend them to anyone who wants and/or needs brake service. Thanks Brakes For Less!!!!

My car was making weird noises whenever I hit the brakes, so I stopped into Brakes for Less based on Google reviews. I didn't have an appointment as I was just passing through town, but they managed to squeeze me in and have a look over everything. Despite my concerns, nothing was wrong with the car that they could see, and something stuck with me- one of the mechanics said, "We won't sell you something that's not required." I really appreciated this honesty, and it's hard to come by these days. Even though the guys at Brakes for Less didn't really do any work on my car, I was confident in knowing that my car was safe and I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone based on my interactions with them, they're solid. Thanks again and all the best.

GO HERE! I have used these seasoned vets to do the brakes for a few cars over the years. They are fast and have very reasonable prices. They just finished my Kia and did it in less time than they promised and for exactly the price quoted. No silly pressure to up-sell or discover some new mystery issue. They re honest, fair & fast. Going anywhere else only means you don t care how much it cost or how long it takes.Brakes For Less Is The Best!

After going to Les Schawb and some other local service center who only wanted to rip me off, I was recommended to brakes for less from one of my employees. Tom did the job of $180. The other service centers were asking for $500 minimum. Honest guys and great service. I recommend them 100%.
