My vehicle has had several services performed by Alderwood Auto Repair. From the beginning, their attention to detail impressed me. Including the very patient and thorough explanation of needed repairs, necessary repairs, and services that should be considered. They go to the trouble of taking pictures to help explain issues. Having observed them in the waiting area I can say that every client receives the utmost dedication of great service. I am so thankful to have found a reliable, trustworthy, quality Auto repair business like this one.Thank you Bill, Karly and your great crew!

My parents have been going to Alderwood Auto Repair for two years. They've had a lot of work done on their car. The customer service is excellent and the work they do is so reliable. Their prices are fair and their auto repair knowledge is remarkable. The most valuable thing you can find in auto repair is honesty and you absolutely find it here. They recommend what's needed, what can wait and what's not necessary. My parents have a safe and reliable car because of Alderwood Auto Repair. I'm so grateful that my elderly parents in their 80's have peace of mind and a relationship in the community that brings them joy.

I would give them 10 stars if I could, seriously! I took my vehicle in for routine maintenance (dealership made me wait 2 months so I searched for an alternative) and I have to say I was beyond impressed. For the first time in my life, I was given a digital inspection report (which was free by the way) with pictures of every step and detailed notes; so you know they actually inspected the vehicle rather then speak to you in fancy mechanical terms you know nothing about to make you pay for unnecessary things! From the customer service to the actual work done, everything was amazing, do not hesitate to take your vehicle to them because they truly do have a culture of trust... I'm definitely going back for good!!!

The staff were all so amazing! This is the first time we have felt worry and stress free! They were so helpful when our car wouldn t start. They were quick to diagnose and so detailed in the issues we were having with the car. They took the time to explain the issues with us and were fair in pricing and understanding of our limits with budgets. We have already made appointments to continue servicing with them including another one of our vehicles! We could not recommend this crew more!

I had an outstanding experience with Alderwood Auto Repair today when I brought my car in for an oil change. Not only did they fit me in their schedule last minute, but they were quick and thorough. I was presented with a clear report of everything they looked at and was provided images clearly showing anything that they had concerns about. I will definitely come back here again and I highly recommend this place to anyone who would like a break from the chains.

Alderwood Auto Repair is hands down the best mechanic experience I've ever had. They addressed my dangerously worn brakes and were able to save me some money by servicing instead of replacing some parts. Their shop is clean, their work excellent, the staff friendly and I can't recommend them highly enough.

I had my oil filter housing fixed and my oil pressure sensor as well since my truck was leaking oil. They did a great job and pricing was agreed with both party. I still had a checking engine light and they told me it was my cam position sensor. Took it in again. Bill was honest about about them probably mistakenly disconnected. They didn t charge me second time. I tell you this Auto Repair shop is honest and well deserved of the recognition. I RECOMMEND

I cannot remember having a better experience at any auto repair shop in the Puget Sound area. There is so much attention to detail and customer service. I feel like myself and my vehicle are in the best hands when I come to have work done on my car. Needed an oil change for my CR-V - work was thorough and fast! Had great followup to track future maintenance needs, complete with photos. I've never been to a shop that tracked maintenance with actual photographic records, I appreciate that level of attentiveness. A great local business to support!

I am so grateful to have come across Alderwood Auto Repair! The whole team did a great job of communicating with me as well as diagnosing and repairing my vehicle with a fast turnaround. The inspection report with photos is helpful, I trust the work that was done, costs were fair and communication was smooth throughout. Couldn't have asked for a better set of circumstances while navigating car trouble and blinking warning lights. Appreciate the whole crew and plan to return but hopefully for something less exciting like an oil change.

We went to Alderwood for the first time last week and it was a great experience! Our Mazda was making an awful noise, and they fit us in same-day.They text you an inspection with pictures and videos of any issues they find. Pricing was very fair when I looked it up on a few websites. They had the repairs done within just 2 days (had to order specific parts because it's an older car).Then today our Subaru had a tire pressure light and they fit us in same-day again. Discovered a screw in the tire!Seriously amazing customer service, and really trustworthy with the photo proof of the repairs.

I have done business with this place more than once now. I've been to other shops, but this place seems to be clean and knowledgeable. There is a great customer service area that doesn't smell or look like grease and doesn't have used transmissions laying around. I have experienced shops that you walk in and wait for somebody to finally come in from the automotive work area with a purple rag wearing overalls and has dirty hands and acts like your bugging them. This is not that type of place and has a very friendly and knowledgeable person working at the front counter experienced in customer service. Just seems like the type of place that they are there for you instead of you for them.

I have brought both of my cars here and they ve been nothing but transparent and helpful both times. Everyone is friendly which is an added bonus! I d recommend anyone to bring their vehicles here to get serviced.

Super nice people here that got my car in (and fixed!) the day after I called. The prices seemed reasonable to me compared to other shops I called, perhaps a bit lower than other places. They also stayed up until the very last minute working on my car to get it back to me same day. I would highly recommend them and plan to go back with any future issues!

This is definitely my new go-to place for car services. The owners were friendly and passionate. I was sent a nifty little prioritized report of things that needed to be fixed, along with photos. I was able to call and go over what was sent in the report and ask how much and then choose what services I wanted done. Prices seemed reasonable. They were able to accommodate my schedule, and best of all, the work came in well under the quote. I m a happy customer!

Update. 03/24.Eric and his wife were very easy to work with. Again they are extremely honest, fair, and the work done was excellent. I would highly recommend them again. They are my go-to for car problems.Outstanding service and fair price! Worked with Eric (owner) and Bill. They were very honest and transparent and fixed an older car of ours. Would highly recommend for their excellence and integrity.

In my opinion they are the worst auto repair around!!! I am new to the state and to Seattle, so I took a chance on trying to find someone to repair my truck. I drove my truck to Adlerwood Auto. They called my and said that I had cylinder issues. They sent me a diagnostic with the issues. They gave me the option to either fix the vehicle or replace the engine. I told them let me look in to and I will get back with them. I called back the following day and said let just go ahead and fix the vehicle. I was then informed that they would no longer repair the engine and they would only replace! I said wait wait that s not what was said yesterday. He said well it s our decision now. They then went back and rewrote the diagnostic and completely changed all the wording. So I figured since they were now saying that my vehicle is dead on arrival that I would try and make a claim thru my insurance. I had my insurance company call on my behalf and they told him I would have to call up there and give permission for him to have my information. So I call and speak to the gentleman at the counter and he says I ve made a note on your account. I said thank you and let my insurance agent know. I get a call the following day from my insurance that I now have to email permission. So I called and spoke with the lady at the counter who was super rude, bossy, and demanding. She kept trying to tell me to stop yelling at her when I was not yelling and kept telling me she was going to hang up on me instead of just listening to me. She took no responsibility for the man who answered the phone and said he isn t Human Resources so he wouldn t know. I told her I would wait on the phone for her to send me the text message stating their email address. That made her super frustrated but I told her I want the taken care of now. So she put me on hold for a good amount of time before the text came thru. She proceeded to tell me that my vehicle isn t on their lot so I m not technically their client currently. I said wow but I was your customer and I would definitely not be anymore and I would let others know to be aware that this company operated. JUST KNOW YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WARNED ***

I recently moved to the area & my dinosaur van died right before NYE. I messaged AAR's website on Monday (closed for the holiday) expecting to hear back on Tuesday but to my surprise, I received a reply on New Year's Day that I was welcome to get it towed & drop the key in the dropbox.I towed it there Tuesday afternoon. My van requires a large bay & they had a few jobs ahead of me but kept me updated & diagnosed it on Thursday. I got a call that it needed new plugs, wires, & cap so I approved the repair. I was also sent an email breakdown of the repairs & pictures from the mechanic's POV. When they called on Friday, I braced myself to hear it now needs XY&Z but nope! I got it back running like a champ early Friday afternoon.I have a friend a hour south who has been helping me for over a decade but he is getting ready to retire so I needed to find a local place I can trust. Thank you AAR & I will see you again - but hopefully not too soon!

This was my first visit to Alderwood Auto Repair and I will definitely be using them for all my car needs!Setting up an appointment was quick and easy - upon arrival, they immediately took my car back for an oil change. I was contacted promptly with a small fix (filter change) and 20 minutes later, was ready to be picked up! Bill was very helpful and knowledgeable at the front desk!Quick and cost effective service, what more could you want? When my brakes started squealing a few weeks back I knew I needed to get my car in quick, and luckily Alderwood Auto had an opening. I had never been to this shop before, but the team did such a great job they will now be my go to place for future auto repairs.I dropped my car off Sunday night using the night drop box, by mid-morning Monday they had emailed me a written assessment of what needed to be done and then followed up with a call. I had all 4 rotors and pads replaced on my 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the repairs were done by the end of that day and even came in a few bucks under the original quote.I am very satisfied with the quality of the work they did on my car, the price I paid, and level of customer service. Honest and fair priced place. They were able to give me a super detailed report of what is wrong with my car. They sent videos and pictures of all the issues. They gave me a fair and upfront price that didnt have extra added stuff I didnt need or ask for. Very communicative via text and phone. This place will be my go to shop going forward and I will be recommending to others as well
