The worst place to take your car for paint or restoration. I have 1st hand experience with Gil the owner. He took advantage of me for over 130k and gave me sub par work. Never finished either car. After all the money I paid up front he gave me back the cars in pieces. Customers beware!

I ve been going back and forth about writing this review but I think people should know my story. I took my car to them as like all vintage cars mine had a terrible oil leak. So bad that if you drive more than 50miles you lose qt of oil. So I m no machanic but I can certainly do a lot on my car except find this leak. So I took it to this shop and they charged me $500 for doing valve gaskets and a oil pan gasket! A job I could do for $50!! At the same time they also did my clutch which in the end shuttered so bad i couldn t even drive the car... the owner of the shop said it needs time to break in...that was another $1400... so I took the car and found it was still pouring out oil but even worse than before! I took the car home and figured out the timing cover was the culprit... took me 3 weeks to do the job myself with replacing the gasket and stopping the leak! Oh I did have another leak which was coming from the valve covers these guys just did!! Remember the shutter from the clutch? So it never went away after 700miles so I took the car back and they charged me another $1000 to fix the problem! This was certainly the worst experience I ve ever had with any shop and the reason I prefer to do the work myself! Also the attitude from the owner was absolutely terrible! Do yourself a favor and go to someone else!

JUST 15 % OF THE WAY INTO THE PROJECT, I PULLED MY CHRYSLER OUT OF THE TOYLAND SHOP. I COULD NO LONGER STOMACH THE LIES, UNETHICAL PRACTICES , FRAUD, DAMAGE TO MY CAR, THE LACK OF RESPONSIBILITY, ARROGANCE, AND THE SHODDY WORK BEING PRACTICED BY GILBERT WORHEL, THE SHOP OWNER. HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SHOP WHOS OWNER (1) IS WILLING TO� MISREPRESENT HIS ABILITIES TO LURE YOUR CAR INTO HIS SHOP (LIES - FRAUD), (2)� WILL CHARGE $420 LABOR, SHOPPING FOR FUEL INJECTION THAT YOUR COMPLETE 22 THOUSAND ORIGINAL MILE VIPER ENGINE ALREADY HAS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION (FRAUD), (3)� WILL BREAK A GOOD USED WINDSHIELD AND MAKE ZERO EFFORT TO OFFER TO REPLACE IT AND PAY FOR THE INSTALLATION (ZERO RESPONSIBILITY), (4)� THINKS HE KNOWS MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT ON YOUR CAR THAN YOU DO, AND ILLEGALLY INSTALLS PARTS THAT YOU HAVE SPECIFIED THAT YOU DO NOT WANT ON YOUR CAR ( ARROGANCE - FRAUD), (5)� THAT INSTALLS INCORRECT MOTOR MOUNTS IN THE WRONG PLACE ( INCOMPETENT- ZERO ENGINEERING ), (6) THAT INSTALLS AN ENGINE / TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY, IN THE WRONG PLACE, 4 TIMES, AND CHARGES YOU LABOR FOR ALL 4 TIMES (FRAUD - INCOMPETENCE - ZERO ENGINEERING), (7)� THAT TAKES 3 TIMES TO REMOVE A FIREWALL, THAT A NOVICE BODYMAN COULD EASILY REMOVE IN 1 TRY, IN ABOUT 30 MINUTES, AND CHARGES YOU LABOR FOR ALL 3 TRYS (FRAUD - INCOMPETENCE), (8)� WILL ACCEPT ZERO RESPONSIBILITY FOR JOBS DONE WRONG - AND WHEN YOU QUESTION HIM ABOUT THEM, HE STORMS OFF LIKE A 2 YEAR OLD THROWING A TEMPER TANTRUM, AND WHEN YOU REFUSE TO LEAVE HIS SHOP, UNTILL THE ISSUES ARE RESOLVED, HE CALLS THE POLICE, AND WHEN THEY ARRIVE, HE LIES AND TELLS THEM; "YA, AND HE THREATENED MY LIFE". ( MAKING A FALSE STATEMENT TO 2 POLICE OFFICERS, SLANDER, AND DESPICABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ), (9)� AND HE THEN FILES A 1 YEAR NO TRESSPASS ORDER AGAINST YOU, TO AVOID HAVING TO RESOLVE VALID CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS (�ZERO RESPONSIBILITY - DESPICABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE ), THEN TOYLAND MAY BE YOUR GO TO PLACE FOR AUTO REPAIRS. I GUESS THAT I SHOULDN'T COMPLAIN TOO LOUD, BECAUSE I DID GET A FREE MULTIPLE COAT PAINT JOB, WHILE MY CAR WAS IN HIS SHOP. HECK, THEY EVEN PAINTED MY VIPER ENGINE. THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THAT IT ONLY COMES IN 1 COLOR ----- BONDO DUST GRAY !!!!!. SO, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A BODY SHOP WITH THE ABOVE QUALITIES, THEN I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TOYLAND, LOCATED ON 3RD AVENUE IN LONGVIEW WASHINGTON. YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED, LIKE I WAS.� AND, JUST IN CASE YOU ARE WONDERING, YES, I DID WIN A MULTIPLE COUNT FRAUD AND VEHICLE DAMAGE COURT ORDERED JUDGEMENT AGAINST GILBERT WORHEL, OWNER OF TOYLAND. UPDATE::::: IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR AND GILBERT WOREL HAS IGNORED THE COURT ORDERED JUDGEMENT, NO MONEY HAS BEEN RECEIVED ( IRRESPONSIBLE, INCOMPETENT, UNPROFESSIONAL ). AT LAST YEARS LONGVIEW CAR SHOW, GILBET WOREL CAME TO MY TRAILER AND STOLE EQUIPMENT FROM THE TRAILER ( ILLEGAL, ARROGANT, UNPROFESSIONAL, DESPICABLE ). THE POLICE WERE CALLED, AND GILBERT WOREL DENIED ANY KNOWLEDGE OF THE THEFT. NONE THE LESS, THE OFFICERS CAUGHT HIM LYING, RETREIVED MY EQUIPMENT, AND RETURNED IT TO ME.

Almost bought a car from him, very rude and tried to pressure me-very unprofessional=no thanks. Also, went to his shop and noticed a lot of his work was very shotty...unless you like a lot of bondo. Be cautious.

Very high prices..poor workmanship last 6 cars that they have done are very bad ...find another place to go if you want a good job..different employees everytime you go in there..the owner seems nice then turn on you
