They worked on my TDI Volkswagen. I was having temp sensor issues. They are upfront about pricing. There was a delay in parts arriving but it was due to the dealership, not this shop. My vehicle's issue has been resolved and I would receive NW Auto Specialist to anyone who needs mechanic work done.

Sam and his whole crew are all amazing and so friendly! They make you feel like family and make sure that everything is done right and working. If there's any issue, they do what needs done and what they can do to fix it. On my way back home to Seattle from job near Longview WA my work van broke down. The guys at Nothwest Auto Specialist were the only ones who could fix my van the same day so I can make it back home. Great customer service, honest and professional.

Huge thanks to Melisa and Pete for an excellent job lifting and modifying my truck. The job wasn t easy, since I requested a bigger tire combination than manufacturer suggested. Melisa diligently listened to my request and suggestions and assured me her shop and team could get it done. They not only got it done, but I m very short order as well. Waited three weeks before I posted but very happy the way things went at NW,had extensive suspension and steering damage, they did inspection,gave me a detailed explanation of damage and cost and I agreed ,picked up the truck the following week and been driving it for approximately three weeks and very satisfied with end results.Its a 2000 Toyota Tacoma with 285000 miles and drives like new.Thank you very much

We needed to have a bolt replaced on one of our sparks plug and they got us in even though they were booked up. They got our car in and done that same day. I really appreciated all their efforts and time. I appreciated that they saw us when everyone else was booked up too. The fact that they had our car done in the same day so that we wouldn't have to rent a car was amazing. Great service and great price. I will definitely be taking our car back to them for future repairs.

Great service here got a quote for a timing belt change (500 less then Dealer) we added a serpentine belt too. Work would of been completed the same day but wrong parts where delivered. All done the next day. Car runs great and feel super comfortable the TDi VW will keep on running for a million miles. Thank you for awesome service. There are a bunch of good guys here.

I called the day before and was able to secure maintenance for the following day. Everyone I spoke with whether on the phone or in person was incredibly friendly and professional. Northwest Auto squeezed me in last minute to fix my rear brakes, which were almost destroyed and hadn t been caught during a recent inspection/tire rotation/alignment appointment at my previous repair place. They were able to get the parts and repair everything the same day even though they were very busy. I ll be going here in the future for my vehicle service.Service: Brakes

Referred for an oil change on my class c rv. Called I got in next day. Just needed an oil change when i dropped off i was talking with my sister about a tail light being out. They changed my light, inspected for anything else and an oil change for the best price ever. They also stayed open for a bit after closing for me to pick up. They were amazing! Fixed my clutch and a/c promptly and were very kind. Reassured me I could come back to have everything checked if anything went wrong and didn't push for extra unnecessary stuff to be done. Will definitely come back if needed in the future, 10/10 recommend

I paid for a heater core replacement, clean and flush and more. Got my car back drove it home temperature spiking out half a gallon low on coolant, doesn t look like they flushed or cleaned it. Now back to the shop to see why they couldn t do their work properly. If I paid to clean and flush my system to get the gunk out the old heater core left in and they didn t do a very good job. This is why I don t like using shops they don t seem to care about the quality of work they do. Ridiculous and when I called his response was well leaks happen. The heater core was the last thing to be replaced- new water pump, radiator and thermostat were put in new about 6 month ls ago and wasn t leaking before this. Someone didn t do their job right and now I have to waste more time and gas to bring my car back not happy at all. I used to think highly of this place in the late 90 s that s why I went back and clearly not the same opinion anymore.Service: Auto maintenance

While on a Sunday drive from Lake Stevens to Longview I got a flat tire. I put the spare on so I could limp my car into Longview. I also sent a text to Reuben asking if he could find two new tires for my oddball sports car. He replied right away (on a Sunday) saying he would get right on it and to bring the car in first thing Monday. I am not sure how many strings he had to pull, but when I arrived on Monday, the new tires (oddball size and typically hard to find) were there. Less than a hour later I was back in the road!Reuben and his team of professionals at Northwest are the best!Service: Tires

Took one of our vehicles in to have the brakes looked at. The brakes worked without issue going forward but in reverse would squeal every time quite loudly. They were able to get me in within a few days for an oil change, rotated my tires for free and called me promptly when the vehicle was finished. Convenient drop off early, pick up late services with key drop off. Even gave me a deal on the final price! I would have given a higher score but it seems someone did not fill my coolant as indicated. When I got home, 19 miles away, I had a warning light my coolant was low. I eventually had to out in a half gallon of coolant.I will take it back for additional work cause I believe in second chances and the people I talked to we're very goodService: General repairs & maintenance

The folks at Northwest auto are simply the best! They give prompt, reliable, trustworthy service. We brought our car in for a repair we were told we needed (by someone else) and instead of just doing the repair, they called and told us they didn t feel it was necessary but gave us a list of OTHER repairs that needed to be done! Melissa worked super close on this for us and was just phenomenal. I highly recommend ANY one looking for a mechanic to come here!!

I was pretty sure my air conditioner was completely shocked. After this point I have done all the right pairs on my vehicles myself. When it came across this I realized I needed help. I was incredibly impressed with Northwest's professionalism and expertise. Ended up being not what I expected.. Again, great service and great start to building trust. Very helpful. I had a power steering leak that was leaking into the exhaust manifold and causing my car to smoke a ton. They fixed it up really quickly and for a decent price. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quick fix for a fair price.

Went in for an alignment and my alignment checked out as being good. They only charged me for an inspection, which means they are honest and precise. I will definitely be back and recommend them.

Had a new clutch installed,they did a good job. They got me in a day after I called. They were mid range on the cost but the gave me 3year replacement warranty parts and labor that no one else offered.Melissa was very friendly and helpful.

Technicians trying to upsell me on repairs and office charged me hourly for diagnostic, then extra charge to write out estimate.
